OMG the most amazing place ever. Double beds in the bar to relax with your cocktails, stunning water villa with your own private pool. Had the most amazing facial in the spa. So much choice in the restaurants. Cannot wait to go back. Not one negative comment about this little piece of heaven. Expensive but worth every single penny. - a Guest

Currently here on my honeymoon - it's been a wonderful and relaxing time. Everyone has been so kind and helpful. In the low season right now (August) so a couple things have been canceled / adjusted (some speedboat snorkel trips and outside dinners) due to winds / rain. However, we have still had some fantastic dining, snorkeling, and diving! And when it does rain it's been in the evenings.

Great vacation experience, but this trip is not just a vacation, but a different level of experience for life!
From the beginning of the round-trip discussion of the e-mail, as well as the inquiry and arrangement of related activities, the entire hotel staff are very kind and friendly. Especially before taking the seaplane, you can use the hotel's VIP room. After arriving at the hotel, there will be a Taiwanese internship service staff to help us get acquainted with the environment and arrange for us to live in a beach room suitable for snorkeling without facing the seaplane. The sound, and can enjoy every day, really relaxing.
The most special thing is that the consumption on the island can be counted as a room rate. For members who are Hilton, they can accumulate points. It is really a great benefit. Whether it's buying souvenirs, dining, water sports, and diving, you can get rewards for your overall spending, making the entire vacation easier and more convenient for a vacation.
The hospitality of the Japanese hotel manager makes people feel at home, and the manager of the dive shop also helps to arrange a lot of details. The most important thing is that there is a free kids club that allows children over the age of three to have a place for children to safely Play, parents with children can relax and take a good vacation. In the dining section, the seafood hot pot of Chinese cuisine is really good value for money. Two people can't finish it. The happy hour at the beach bar is even more exciting. For Hilton members, the daily breakfast and afternoon tea are delicious and satisfying.
For Conrad Maldives, in addition to appreciation, still appreciate, if there is an opportunity, will come back to vacation, and look forward to retain this natural beauty.

Wonderful hotel!

Wonderful hotel!

We stayed in water villa and we enjoyed our holiday from start to the end. We were picked up from Male airport and transferred to the lovely Conrad lounge and sea plane check in. We could enjoy free drinks and snacks before take-off. We were given a little bag each with a bottle of water to take on seaplane. Unfortunately, you would have to pay extra if you wanted to use this lounge on return. The last sea plane from Conrad is about 4pm, so you would have to wait if your flight from Male is later.
Hosts and some hotel managers welcomed us on arrival. Our host took us to the water villa and explained as much as he could about hotel. We wanted to have a cocktail at the underwater restaurant and he tried his best to book it for us. Unfortunately, hotel was busy in we got a place only on our last day. It was a nice experience, but next time I would go for a dinner. In the evening seeing could be much better.
Prices are really high at this hotel, but this is Maldives and everything cost a lot. Worth having a nice cocktail for half a price between 5pm and 7pm (happy hour). Staff is very friendly and willing to help. We had a lift offered a couple of times when walking over the bridge from one island to another.
Breakfast buffet wonderful, plenty to choose from. Fresh fruit and veg juices (you can choose ingredients yourself and they will make it for you in front of you), Actimel drinks In the evening you can choose anything you like from European, Chinese, Japanese or Indian buffet.
Our water villa was very nice too. We enjoyed a spacey bathroom, nice room, comfortable bed, small whirlpool outside the room and amazing views, white sand and turquois water. We were lucky to see a huge Manta Ray from the bridge one evening.
It was a bit pricey but definitely unforgettable stay!

Beautiful But Room For Improvement

Beautiful But Room For Improvement

This was my second visit to Maldives and have been to a few islands, so the review may be a little different from others who love their first experience and don't have any comparison within Maldives.

-The food was good. Breakfast was my favorite
- The resort is really pretty and well kept
- I love that you can hire photographers or videographers for a relatively affordable rate if you wanted (1 hour of about 30 photos was around $100 from what I recall)
- Paddle board and canoe can be taken out 30 minutes a day
- Snorkel excursion and equipment was free - amazing
- The water bungalows were beautiful.
- Welcome beverage
- Beach towels easily accessible
- Most of the beach is nice. Other islands I had been to previously though, had much softer sand
- staff and cleansers are really nice
- Activities: fish feeding was nice

Cons:
-Bugs: We were caught off guard that 2 nights in a row we saw 2 enormous cockroaches in our room. Possibly brought in by previous guests because no one else we should to had them. >.<
-Snorkel: and nice but was polluted probably from the current carrying it in, and deep so it wasn't that clear, and not that many fish compared to other Maldives islands I'd been to
-All inclusive: I agree about drinks, that at a 5 star, drinks should actually be included at every bar around the clock.
-Entertainment: Lack of options for evening entertainment. The lead singer was so bad we decided not to stay out a few nights. They could have at least changed the music or band regularly.
-Gym: very small, but had some equipment that let's you do basics. It's on the other side of the island.
-Activities: Itinerary had said there would yoga, but their instructor wasn't there. Any 4* and 5* I've been to in the Caribbean (island life) has a water aerobics, pool activity or some kind of exercise activity.

After 5 days at Conrad Maldives, we are not ready to leave. The resort is beautiful with two separate islands connected by a long bridge. The main island is livelier and designed specific for family vacation whereas the quiet zone is designed for couples who like quiet time and privacy. Guests can commute between the islands by means of buggy or ferry. The service at this hotel is impeccable and truly designs to cater your heart desires. Throughout our stay at Conrad Maldives, we ve met and interacted with multiples employees from hotel manager, front desks to bartenders at the restaurant and everyone always had a smile on their faces. Beside the beautiful oceans and overwater villas, Conrad Maldives is also a foodie paradise. There are multiples restaurants at this resort from Chinese;,Japanese to Italian and each of them offers a unique experience. The breakfast buffet at the main island is amazing. We already planned to make this a repeat destination. I d like to thanks the hotel managers Mr Ito and Mr Fayaz for invited us to join the sunset cruise on the Rangali Rani which was an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend this excursion to any guests who stay here. Our personal host, Ms Savannah did a spectacular job throughout our stay. Thank you and see you again.

The definition of paradise. The entire resort is perfectly set up. Rooms are beautiful and well appointed, whether in a water or beach villa. The staff is top-notch and very good at anticipating your needs. They are also very friendly and conversational. This is hands-down one of the best hotels in the world! Grounds were extremely well kept, and the way it is landscaped makes you feel like you're on your own private island.

Every day to stay here is memorable, and the small details of the big concept are almost perfect. The design of the water house is amazing. Any restaurant has a rich taste bud, the ecological environment is delicate and overwhelming, and the friendly and friendly staff of each of the participating staff are deeply impressed.
Deep diving snorkeling must go, Ithaa must eat, if there are conditions should go to the islands of the local residents to see, with a happy attitude to empty everything.
Of course, the money spent is also a bit painful.

Great first visit here during the holiday break. They even have all the kids Christmas presents on Christmas day! I thought that was great! They didn't have to but they did. Very family friendly place and the staff here are great. The staff here looks out for you and we felt like this was more of a dream vacation than we were expecting. It's is a little pricey but considering the cost of staff and upkeep of this place I think it is reasonable. This is an island in the middle of the ocean meaning there are no power lines (place runs on diesel and maybe solar?). Staff outnumber the guests. Workers work hard and they seem to enjoy what they do even though they are away from their families months at a time. Perks are available for those who have status. This place definitely tops our trip to Tahiti. We are already thinking about our next trip here which is hopefully sooner than later and more on the regular rather than special occasions.

It's a wonderful place. There is a Japanese Concierge and the request is communicated. I was drunk a drink in the refrigerator in the person of the room service staff As a side note. It can not be the sense of Japan, but overseas is something like this. Those of local staff was very fun and spend place in everyone friendly. The place seems like to visit.

We spent our honeymoon in this beautiful place. And it was just fantastic! Just walk barefoot for a week - to all women - you really don't need shoes here.
There are 2 relatively large islands that are connected to each other. One island is for couples (child-free zone) and the other for families. Really well divided. There is the possibility to help yourself to the huge buffet in the morning and in the evening or simply to go out to eat in one of the many great restaurants. For all sushi fans - there is always fresh sushi. Even for BREAKFAST - my personal highlight.
Staff technically the BEST I have ever experienced. The personal supervisor, who of course spoke our national language, was there for us 24/7 if it were necessary - but wasn't.
It is also important to say that $ 1,500 was blocked on our credit card immediately upon arrival. Wasn't a problem for us, but it would be a shame if something like that hits you out of the blue ... Cash is not needed on the island. In the end, you simply pay for everything with your card.

This was the best hotel I have stayed in my life. Everything perfect till the last detail. Amazing villas, beautiful views, friendly and polite service, 11 restaurants with gourmet food, many activities, water and beach ones, great house reef for snorkeling, amazing whale shark tour. I am sure I will be back one day

Was there in 2006 and it used to be called Hilton Maldives. Wonderful place for honeymoon and couples. Had a resort just beside the beach. Service was good, food was ok. Try out the private sunset dinner for 2. Had the most romantic time of my life there. Highlighly recommended.

FANTASTIC SERVICE, WONDERFUL FACILITIES, GREAT CUISINE AND A TRUE LUXURY EXPERIENCE, MANAGED IN A 100% COVID SAFE MANNER

Considering the time of our visit, I have separated my review in to 2 parts: Part 1 deals with the excellent safety provisions in both the Maldives, and the resort WRT COVID. Part 2 deals with the wonderful experience we enjoyed.

PART 1
The COVID measures at Male airport were excellent, as they were on our EK flight from Dubai. The hotel staff met us as advised and took us to their dedicated lounge. We then transferred by seal plane to the resort - at all points strong COVID measures were followed.

At the resort everything was sanitised and masks worn b the staff. Temperature were taken regularly and people showed good vigilance and practices.

The team arranged our return PCR test which was performed at our convenience on the island - the results were back within 24 hours and were readily accepted by Emirates.

In summary we felt 100% safe during the journey and at the resort in these COVID times.

PART 2
We stayed in a luxury beach villa. Beautifully appointed, with direct beach access, it's own pool, it was spacious and immaculate. It was also a short walk to everything. For those not wishing to walk a buggy could be summoned at short notice. The room had excellent Wi-Fi, UK 3 pin plugs, USB outlets and a Nespresso coffee machine and capsules. We were also well supplied with drinking water.

There report had 5 restaurants / bars open so we had plenty of choice. All were excellent and the staff really knew the menus. Some high spots were the grilled lobster at Sunset Grill, the Chicken and Risotto at Mandhou, the 7 course undersea meal at Ithaa, the fondue in the wine cellar, and our regular lunch of the Keralan Fish Curry at Rangali bar. Great wine selection at all outlets - the St Clair Sauv Blanc especially good. The chef met us on a number of occasions and created a special desert on our last night. First class wining and dining.

We dived most days and also went on the Whale Shark trip. This was all run by Ocean divers - an expat led business in the island. True luxury diving and some great dive sites to enjoy (quiet now so take advantage). We saw 4 whale sharks on that trip - you snorkel as they stay near the surface.

The staff, led by the charming manager Carla, were excellent. They contemplated your needs and went the extra mile at all times.

We arrived as guests but left as friends.

We can't wait to return.

Beautiful resort!! I have been to Maldives 4 times and Conrad had the best waters but what made it stand out tops is the service - I must congratulate Mahmood for his excellent butler service - impeccable and he even sorted out a little unhappy incident I had with a staff in another restaurant. Really loved the Japanese restaurant and the crystal clear waters. My 9 year old daughter loved the kids club and spent most of the days there as there playing with the staff who also took her snorkelling and cruising in the dhoni. Thanks Mahmood for making this trip memorable - keep up the good work!

From start to finish the Conrad ruined us for all ...

From start to finish the Conrad ruined us for all other resorts. We arrived by seaplane for my 40th Birthday and were just to stay one night. The staff made it the most memorable day-night-day of all our holiday experiences. We ate at the underwater restaurant and our 2 wait staff made the experience very personal. I was worried about how noisy the experience might be given other reviews about noisy Chinese nationals that I had previously read but it was anything but. The whole restaurant was ore struck by the amazing fish - it was all very interactive and enjoyable. We had Oscar 8 and Eva 6 with us and the staff made sure that the set menu was tailored to what they would eat, so each sumptuous course was made kid friendly. They loved it, we loved it. Worth every cent. It was the perfect 40th Birthday that I had hoped for. Afterwards we were taken to our room by our personal concierge (Hussain) who was so incredible at pre-empting our every need. Even suggesting baby-sitting for that night so my husband and I could have dinner together. We were also taken to the water sport and scuba dive centre where we collected the free (and premium) snorkelling kit so we could enjoy the house reef. The house reef was incredible. So many beautiful fish and coral and the water such a perfect temperature (May).
Dinner that night was Japanese teppanyaki set menu on the beach. One word. Incredible!
I really can t gush enough about the whole experience. If only life was like the Conrad. Alas, the dream all had to come to an end the next day. But before we left we enjoyed a complimentary massage for my birthday. I took my daughter to the stunning spa over the water, and Conrad organised a late check out of 3pm (unheard of!). And our seaplane arrived at 3:30 and flew us away. Sob! The whole thing was a major indulgence but for a day we were made to feel like royalty. Thank you to everyone at The Conrad Maldives. If you do go, try and book the whale shark trip before you arrive. We missed out and it is our one regret.

Highly recommend 5 stars.

Highly recommend 5 stars.
Choice of beach villa or over water bungalow.
Been there a few times and I would alternate between the 2 types of accommodations!
If it's your first time and staying for 1 week then try to get the first 3 nights as a beachfront and the rest overwater experience!
Massage was very good so I highly recommend it!
Breakfast was excellent with many choices!!
The resort is 2 islands connected via a pedestrian bridge and you can also take the free dhoni boat shuttle!
You will have to take the seaplane to arrive at this resort but don't worry as the Conrad will do everything for you!
This resort was a Hilton and then upgraded to the Conrad!
I stayed in this resort when it was a Hilton.
I stayed in the is resort when it became a Conrad too!!
I experienced both Hilton and Conrad!
Everything is beautiful there!!
The only downside is its too expensive!!!

Words can't describe truly how unique this place is. The photos can't do it justice and most importantly those the work here are amazing and truly cater to your every hearts desire. Everyone that can should experience this place once, but as for us we plan to make this a repeat destination; which we don't have many of those in mind.

This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion, but this Conrad is overrated & overpriced. We stayed there for our honeymoon recently, and was very disappointed. They lure the customer on vacation/honeymoon with all these attractive "free" offers. However, they don't follow through on any of those offers. When we went to ask our "host" Marren, about the complimentary items, we first were told, they no longer offer those complimentary items. When we pressed further, explaining the email we received prior to arriving, told us about the benefits about being on our honeymoon as a diamond club member, I was told to fwd the email THEY sent. What?!? You want me to show you proof the offers the Conrad made and communicated? As a Diamond club member this was very disappointing. Our host didn't contact us once during our stay and also accidentally canceled one of our day trips we had planned. She was smug, rude and inexperienced. I can't say that about all the staff there. Some staff we made a great personal connections with, and I was sad to say goodbye to. This place is living high off their accolades and could do a much better job at their customer service. We've stayed at Conrad's around the world, and this was by far our least favorite. Thanks to Marren, (our disengaged host) we will not be returning to the island, or would we recommend this place to stay to any friends or family.

The Conrad Maldives is the perfect place for our honeymoon. Our choice of room was at the superior water villa and we could see the fish in the moonlight at night in the ocean. You can enter the water directly from the room and watch the stars from the hot tube on the ocean at night. Breakfast is a buffet and is mainly based on far east and thai dishes. But bakery products are prepared in European style and consist of waiters serving orange juice. We don't have proper foods for Turks. Bring your food with cheddar and bacon. Water is unlimited, no water shortage. If you request, you will be brought and taken away from your room by golf carts wherever you go.

It s a decidedly four-star resort in a five-star setting. The rooms are beautiful, and the island has some of the softest sand and clearest water anywhere. Much of the service is fantastic - even if spotty at times and surprisingly rigid for a tropical paradise. Buffets are a mixed bag with some excellent options and some food that should probably not be put out; room service offers decent variety but typically mediocre quality. Arrangements for kids are a highlight, with a well run kids club and some good food choices. Rooms look amazing but have some odd flaws - mine had a bathroom door right next to the bed that didn t close all the way, and with the fancy motorized shades, they didn t close all the way so they let a ton of light in (simple curtains would be nice); I also had dozens of large black ants visiting at night. For this kind of resort at these kinds of prices, they need to get every detail right, and it s hard to overlook that they fall short too often.

My first 6 star resort experience. Good food options, helpful staff, excellent excursions. The reef is in bad shape. Not much you can do about it though. Make this a non smoking resort please. Say hi to George the pelican at the restaurant.

I went on a honeymoon. I was able to receive room upgrades in the Hilton Diamond Tier, but it's very old. When you go to an outdoor jacuzzi, it is recommended that you leave your shoes unconditionally. The nails that hold the wood are rusted due to the frequent Maldivian rains, which can cause pieces of wood to sting and hurt your feet. There were four pieces of wood on my feet, so I felt as if I had stapled a stapler, but there was a doctor who stayed in the resort. The staff at the resort was very friendly and caring but the old condition was disappointing.

Magic place. The staff is so kind and caring of you full time. The food is delicious, the water is spectacular. The high price is worth it, think that it is not the usual type of vacation you can have every day. It is for special occasions. Very recommeded.

The best hotel I've ever been in, long. Surely also the most expensive but, from my point of view, the service, the island, the treatment, the gastronomy, the activities ... all excellence level. I hope I can come back one day!

The Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is an exception...

The Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is an exceptional hotel with amazing staff & picturesque landscape. The hotel consists of 2 tropical islands which are isolated from the rest of the world & as a result, nature is left to flourish & you will see many beautiful palm trees & even some big birds. Despite a few water villas needing renovation, they are absolutely stunning! The superior water villa which we stayed in had a huge hot tub which had heaters, lights & jets & an amazing view of the sun setting along the turquoise waters. The food in the hotel is also amazing with 12 world class restaurants. My favorite of them all was Ithaa which was the underwater restaurant. It had amazing world class dishes & a view unlike any other place in the world. This hotel is truly paradise on earth & if you are visiting The Maldives it is a must see once in a lifetime experience.

Our five nights stay at a water vila were magical. Service was undoubtedly far better than what we were accustomed to. Everything from Itha, the shark whale tour, night fishing, breakfast at Vilu and Atoll Market, happy hour, afternoon tea, and more made this property a truly unforgetable experience. Would highly recommend anyone to choose this Island :). To pay testimony to the high level of service mentioned above, our kayak capsized which resulted in our gopro sinking to the ocean floor. Staff members rode a hetski and dove underwater for more than half an hour to find our go pro in literally the middle of the ocean. Thank you to the property and its staff for the wonderfull honeymoon, hope to return one day soon :) .

We spent our Honeymoon here and it was our favorite vacation thus far! We spent 10 nights in an over the water villa and have never been more relaxed in our lives! Waking up to beautiful crystal clear views of the Indian Ocean is like nothing we've experienced before. The staff did such a good job at making sure we felt comfortable and happy during our stay. We ate at just about every restaurant on both islands, and though we had our favorites, everything was very good. We had several private beach dinners and we will never forget them. Mutty, made sure we were taken care of at every meal from breakfast to dinner. The excursions and day trips we planned were excellent. We swam with whale sharks and snorkeled. They have just about anything you could ever want to do right on the island. We cannot wait to come back for an anniversary trip! The only thing I will say is that the prices are crazy expensive.
