Best Thai Food in Los Angeles. Everything in the menu was fantastic, ambience is great, and the bar is spacious and contemporary. All told, fantastic!

Been here 3 times and they make it very hard to get your buzz on. 20-30 min for a beer refill. If you order a cocktail you are a lost cause!

A little hard to find but it has a narrow alleyway that leads to the outdoor patio. They have good drinks and food. Come during happy hour.

I've been a customer of Far Bar since the La Canada location. I'm a local, Montrose born and raised. The best margaritas in town, along with their yummy salsas. My favorite entrees lately are their succulent and lean carnitas tacos, chile rellenos, carnitas tostado compuesto. I usually over order so that I have plenty of leftovers to take home. The service is fast and friendly. I hope we never lose Far Bar!

Good happy hour menu. If you're into scotch, don't order anything over 12 years. It's way overpriced. It's my goto for $7 old fashioned's tho.

Fun, Asian and Mexican cuisine menu with all bar tables and bar for multiple size parties.

Great place to throw back a few beers and have some sushi. Prefer to sit a the bar. Always some one interesting to meet or people to watch. Dont expect to see the same Bartender after a few weeks, very high turnover for the staff.

Always a great time at this open air bar/ restaurant.. never had a bad moment at this establishment

Great place for casual drinks. They have an extensive collection of liquor to choose from and plenty of spaces to lounge downstairs, upstairs and in the back alley.

Really good food! I got the teriyaki sliders and the seafood pasta...finger licking good!! Great atmosphere and just a good place for a drink and to hang out.

The bartender was really nice. Environment was real cozy. Definitely need a revisit.

This was a great meal!!! We were lucky to snag a reservation (well, maybe not too lucky since I woke up at midnight 30 days before to get it) as we love pasta and are constantly looking for a place.

This place is a SFV classic. The prices are unbeatable and the food is delicious. The only thing is that insane wait. I will only come here right when it opens and there is no wait. Honestly even an hour after it opens, the wait is long. Or I recommend just ordering it to go. You just call and by the time you get there, the food is ready!

My family has been coming here for years and the quality of the food is ALWAYS delicious, always consistent. The fish .

Just something to eat late on a Sunday night. Came here and we ordered the wasabi fries, Edamame, wings, bibimbap, dumplings, duck udon, and pork ramen. The soups were just soup packet soups, and the meats on them were not fresh and smelled bad. Wings were fine. Bibimbap was so over-sauced and had an interesting choice of random veggies. Edamame was literally slathered in oil and had no taste other than the greasy oil. Fries were just fries, nothing special. Wouldn't come back , but it was fine for a late Sunday night.

Good place to eat for lunch. Kind of pricey. Friendly service. Wouldn't recommend take out. I do recommend dinning in. They have multiple TV screens to watch sports. Kraft beer on tap. Flavors change frequently.

Scott is a fabulous person who knows how to entertain! He has the best stories, makes the best drinks, and is very attentive to everyone. I would solely return just for Scott. My friend and I dined at Vitello's before having after dinner drinks in the Rendition Room. The food was divine, especially the caesar salad. From there, Scott escorted us to the speakeasy. We had Honig Sauvignon Blanc and shared a cannoli. Fun conversation with patrons sitting next to us, and the atmosphere was warm and very inviting.

Go through the back alley to the divey bar in the back. Shared seating and good service. Mid afternoon to early evening spot.

Super hard to find, but once you do, you'll love the place. It is literally between two buildings in DTLA.

Ask for the alley/backroom. Sick aesthetics. Wish the beer flight was a bit cheaper.

The staff is very friendly and always have wonderful personalities. The food is presented well, simple but very tasty. If you're looking for a different taste in craft brew, ask for Jimmy :)

Hole in the wall/between to buildings. Amazing patio. Bartender had some attitude. Being a DD I asked for coffee...the look she gave me...I felt I asked for her first child.

This bar is pretty cool to hang out with friends. I like being outside in-between the building's it's a different experience. The food is good as well.

Basin is pretty much the best bar in La Crescenta. The food here is excellent and the service is always on point. I have never been disappointed. They have a great selection of hand-crafted cocktails and beers. The ambience is great and the place is always spotless. My husband and I love this place!!

Love this place. The rotating cocktail menu is great and the back patio is private and cozy.

Love this place!! Made reservation weeks before and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious, and the service was great. We were seated by the window so we also got a view too. The crab dish was a little too greasy though, it was soaked in oil. Clam chowder and crab cake are our must order items. This place is kinda expensive, so be prepared before you come. But it's def worth it.

THE LOWDOWN==- Possibly the most popular hidden spot in Little Tokyo.

Friday bar hopping night, but ended up getting food after being hypnotized by other people's orders. The average sized bar area was not able to handle all the patrons. It was crowded beyond belief in that small room, about 3 deep. Funny though is that I don't remember it being muggy at all so kudos to that. Since it was so crowded at the bar, my group ended up taking a table outside, where we were serenaded by fun 80 90's hip hop. The waitresses were pretty busy running back and forth on this crowded night, but we got immediate service when we flagged for it. Burgers and fries clock in at under 10 bucks which is freaking amazing given the amount and quality of the food here.

-=- BLAT Burger -=- Bacon Lettuce Avocado Tomato. The BLAT Burger was bomb-diggity. Thick bun and tasty med rare meat. Bacon was thick cut with a maple-ish glaze. Avocado was thick cut as well and was equally dispersed in every bite. My burger came out cold, which was a bummer, but I'll be back anyway.

-=- Wasabi Fries -=- It's actually regular cut fries with a wasabi ranch dip. INTENSE wasabi ranch dip. Most would not be able to handle this, but to some of us champs, I was impressed by the preserved flavor of the dip through the wasabi kick.

-=- Expresso Stout -=- It was by a Japanese brewer, I think, from all the Japanese writing on it. It was sooo good that I had 2 of the same. It's thick and a bit sweet, but it's perfect for those looking for a filling beer without the bitter beer taste.

Again: under 10 bucks for burgers+fries, awesome ambiance, fun crowd, food open till 1am. WIN!

Good atmosphere for you and a few friends. Don't expect amazing service. It's always crowded and there's usually a wait. The food is good but they only have rolls as their "sushi" selection but they have pretty good beers on tap. Theres ALWAYS a line for the restroom (men's and women's) because they are single stall only.

service sucked... And usually the food is on point, but not so much this last time. Tuesdays must not be good days to go.

The Duck Undon was amazing. The Amaretto Sour was equally amazing.

One of my favorite Bar/restaurants to dine in at. Overall hands down! On their food and drinks, but most importantly their great Customer Service skills. Manager, Mrs Tina is always on point with any problems or concerns if any. Amanda is a great, friendy and fast server, definitely recommend this place, therefore give them a 5 Star rating :)

Pretty cool spot in Little Tokyo, best for happy hour!

I highly recommend this place, get the calamari which is super awesome. The deserts are on point and seafood is great.

Great place. Made on the site of the old Far East Cafe in Little Tokyo that was damaged severely and the Northridge Earthquake. This room, has a lot of history they made a lot of the old Humphrey Bogart style Sam Spade, Philip Marlowe Film Noir movies. It's in Little Tokyo so they have Sapporo on tap along with many craft beers. A very good happy hour $3 Sapporo's and even though it might seem a tad unsophisticated to order them, the whiskey barbecue chicken wings are excellent.

This place doesn't have good sushi or either burger, place is out dated and doesn't look clean, our table was sticky and not that clean at all. They are trying to present themselves as this cool place but they are not.

Great spot tucked in the back of some buildings on 1st street in Little Tokyo; beer is a bit pricey but they usually have djs and/or a band to keep the ambience nice

This place was bomb! It's a hidden gem in the middle of the Santee Alley craziness. We got here on a Sunday, a little after noon, and was estimated a 10-15 minute wait.The joint is small and intimate and doesn't seat a lot of people, so they stagger customers even if some tables are open to also account for the small kitchen/wait staff.The food is AMAZING! The shrimp is probably the best. They recommend eating it with the peel on, and I swear to the good lord Jesus it tastes just like soft shell crab!Overall, if I could give more stars, I would!!! Def coming back with friends!

This was a pretty good place. Fun bar food. I liked the rolls and a burger we had. Great music playing. Has a little bit of a funky smell, interior is a little dingy. I also didn't like the Thai curry. It was weird and thick and mealy. Won't be having that again but I would go back for a late-night snack. Had a sake flight but wasn't a huge fan of it. (Again I don't know if it's just my overall impression of the place not being the cleanest that made me feel like some things had a weird smell to them.)

Food is solid. Great chill vibe in the outdoor patio. Perfect spot for chillin outside with some sake and friends.

They say they open at 10am on Sunday and they advertise that they have all the NFL games, but good luck trying to watch them. I've been here on two occasions and both times the employees don't even walk through the door until closer to 10:30. The food is good and they have decent drinks but don't come here if you wanna watch morning football games.

This is a really cool bar that has good food. The outside seating is an alley next to the bar. The outside seating was is perfect for summer nights when it is like 80 outside. The happy hour was good, and the food is delicious. They have Game of Thrones beer; unfortunately, they were out when I went. I would recommend this place for a date night or a night with friends.

Came here on a random lunch date, closed for "private event " with side patio open, which was ridiculously packed. Went elsewhere and had a great experience.

Stay away. Customer service sucks. Overpriced food and drinks.

I don't mean to be redundant, but Far Bar is just as fabulous as it's reputed to be. Small & intimate. Old world cuisine in simple, modern & clean elegance. This was just a beautiful meal from start to finish.

Our last experience was really nice though. Got a seat at the bar and I told the waiter what kind of drink i wanted. I said "gin, Rosemary, grapefruit, up glass"...they don't carry rosemary but he made something special and it was delicious and beautiful! Great and friendly service as well.

Went here the day after Valentine's Day on a Saturday, and was seated around 5 pm. The wait was about 30-40 minutes and even longer towards the end of the night (we left at 6:30 pm and the wait on Yelp was 1h+). Definitely plan ahead, as it gets really busy during dinner time. If you join the wait list through yelp, don't forget to check in with the host! They usually will seat you as soon as they have a table ready. We got lucky and was seated next to the window and got to see the sunset.

4.4? Are you kidding me? Maybe 1.4. Worst service here. The associates and managers don't even communicate the same things. Waiter says one thing, manager says another. Do not waste your time here unless you like to be treated like trash and give people money for treating you like trash.

Love the Tuesday nights, Alina is really entertaining. Bartender is a hit and miss. The girl is really good and I get my drinks right away. When the man is bartending, favorite get their drink, the rest are lost in the shuffle
