I came here with a girlfriend on a Tuesday night sometime back in November and it was relatively quiet being a weekday. This is a great place to grab drinks for a more intimate setting. The bar makes amazing cocktails so a definitely recommend! We actually ended up ordering cocktails not on the menu and they still made it for us. Opens late until 2am I think so give this place a try if you're in the area!

I went here years ago when it was McKenzie's and boy was it disgusting LOL. But luckily this place is completely remodeled. The interior is really nice and clean. All the bartenders are super friendly and easy to talk to. They have a good selection of beers and also have their own signature cocktails that change every few months. The shots and beers are reasonably priced and they also have happy hour from opening until 8pm. A great neighborhood bar all around!

I'll return family next time. The prices are good for what you get. Feels like a place in Charlotte that I enjoyed visiting.

I defiantly recommend this place out to anyone. I was their last night with couple of friends, the customer service is 10 stars in my opinion. It's was very nice and clean place, their food was stunningly good. It's pricey but well worth it.

I have been to Far Bar a couple of times for different occasions and they were all just okay. I did like their brunch here, but I heard that they don't have bottomless mimosas anymore? The couple of times that I came here at night for the bar scene were mediocre. It is a chill spot to come with a group of friends and just grab a drink or two. They have a good amount of tables, but it can get really busy. I actually prefer ordering drinks at the bar because whenever I try to order at the table with a group of people, it seriously takes forever to get our orders.

This place was such a pleasant surprise, definitely the gem of little Havana. The decor definitely has an edgy vibe and the overall ambiance is very welcoming. I was there for "the kitchen," which happens once a month and it did not disappoint. I've been to this party at different locations but they finally found a home at "Bar Nancy." The drinks were great and the service is fast and friendly. I also noticed that the staff is on top of everything trying to make everyone comfortable and ensuring everyone is having a good time. I love the overall vibe. Really looking forward to going back very soon.

Nothing but pleasant experiences here. Prices are reasonable I would say. Mood here is similar to Fresno's scene.

Amazon happy hour! Come on a sunday and u will leave full, happy, and kinda drunk on $30.

Excellent beer choices as usual. A long list of artisonal cocktails and craft spirits await those who are not commited to the barley and hops. We didn't eat this time, but previous visits persuaded us of the kitchen's quality.

I enjoyed brunch on a Sunday. This place has a cool hipster vibe with sarcastic signs and menus. The food was very flavorful. We got bottomless mimosas with our meal for a reasonable charge. They have regular orange juice or mix and match ( some flavors I tried:lechee, mango, strawberry-coconut, French). I couldn't decide what to order so I got the `Merica pancakes and sausage gravy and biscuits. Others at my table ordered the confused burrito, chicken sandwich, and traditional breakfast plate. Everything was good. Mimosas were flowing. The restaurant is small, so make sure you have a reservation for busy times like brunch.
The food was good we didn't even get to take a picture. We were super hungry. We made a reservation and still had to wait 40 minutes to be seated because the place was packed. Even with the long wait, it was a good experience. The staff was very friendly and the food was

Two star just because of the spot of this place. It is a hidden jewel that is seriously bad in every single aspect of a bar concept. The menu, the service, the waiters, the guy on the door.. This place used to have a decent menu for whiskey, now even the coktails are premade. I don't recommend this place.

Such a cool place! Was visiting from out of town and this was a must go on our list. It's a small hidden door, you go down into a basement area. There's no real drink menu that I ever saw. You just tell the bartender what you like and they whip up a cocktail. Our group got old fashions & a gin/champagne/citrus drink that was unreal. Had a great experience here and would definitely recommend!

Its a mix of bros, hipsters and pretentious folks but the wait staff and bartenders are super cool and they really make the effort to make you feel welcome.

Came here for brunch with some friends. The Dorian has a relaxed atmosphere with some upscale features. We sat at one of the large booths on the perimeter of the bar which gives you a nice view of the whole space.

It was 4 of us. We ordered 4 waters 2 beers thr server then rolled her eyes at us. When she finally took our order the food was quick for 2 of us then the server comes to tell us they are out of that item. So 2 of us change the order it then took s good amount of time to get that food. Then the server asks my vegetarian friend a question about her order. When she recieved her order over 40 mins since ordering there was meat in it which she on accident ate. When this was brought to the servers attention again she just didn't really care as she took the food to the back to re-make. She then took a long time just to come back to us and give us the check. We were there for far too long with absolutely horrible service from the moment we sat down till we left.

One of my favorite happy hour spots. The patio is a nice option for a casual dining or drinking experience. An excellent selection of whisky as well as craft beer and the food isn't far behind. The service always seems to be friendly as well.

Would surely recommend trying this place. Exceptional mood, flavorful dishes, excellent customer service. Great work.

A good restaurant experience is definitely about the food. No arguments on that. But also the overall experience, which takes into account the staff, the setting, the ambience, the service you expect and receive, the quality and freshness of the food is critical.

Great place to just hang out and grab a beer or two

The Rendition Room is by far my favorite spot to enjoy a cocktail. While the drinks, food, and ambience are amazing, it's really the above-and-beyond service from Scott that has me coming back week after week. Scott is attentive, excellent at his craft, and goes out of his way to create a wonderful experience. If you're considering this place, definitely make sure you call ahead to see when Scott is working and plan your visit accordingly. While The Rendition Room is always great, Scott definitely elevates the experience and takes it to the next level!

Prices feel a little steep for what you get but the quality is pretty good. Come by for a drink or two grab a snack in between bars.

Always such a great experience here! I've been here on crowded nights as well as slower nights on a weekday. The service is always so consistent no matter what. From the door man, to the bartenders - everyone is super friendly and respectful.

Just met the bar owner the other night and he's as real as it gets. You can tell they all have a great relationship and are happy because it's reflected in how they treat their guests.

There's always good music spinning regardless of the day of the week. Wish every bar was like this!

I really enjoyed myself! The pot pie was to die for. My server could not have been better! We came late but service did not make me feel rushed. Logan was so attentive and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much I will definitely be back.

It's crazy how fast they can make a quality Old Fashioned. If I get my drinks 2 minutes after ordering them on a busy Friday night, I'm happy.

Moscow mule on tap...! Good happy hour prices and wasabi fries were great tasting and a good amount if you're waiting for your number to be called at one of the local sushi places.

So so good. The burger had a lot of great flavors and interesting ingredients. Their truffle fries are great (especially as a burger topping!)

The best chicken in town! I Probably go here twice a week haha! Fast and delicious! I usually get one sandwich and one tender with mild sauce and kale salad instead of the fries! Yum!!!

It's a hole in the wall place but wow the atmosphere feels like a NYC coffee shop. Good sushi and beer for a good price.

Can't beat their happy hour prices in drink and food! That said, the fall sangria wasn't the best - there was a weird mustiness from the fruit or cinnamon and it was watered down with so much soda water that the drink was kind of watery. Couldn't detect the rose, or any alcohol of any kind, so maybe steer clear of the sangria. But that Nikkei pisco sour was legit and the apps have never disappointed! Maybe just stick to legit cocktails, wine and beer?

The staff were very accommodating, we did not feel rushed, food was excellent and recommendations were perfect!

My only experience at Far Bar was the Sunday brunch bottomless mimosas, to which I can say they did not fail at keeping them bottomless. The back patio or alleyway, whatever you want to call it, is a pleasant spot to drink and spend your early Sunday afternoon. I have no idea if their food is any good since I didn't waste valuable drinking space with food, but you can always walk around Little Tokyo and fill your gullet with Japanese cuisine.

If you can, go to their happy hour. 3 dollar beer and food that is cheap too

i love eating here. i've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. this place has an awesome feel to it.

Great beer selection, awesome sushi and what a cool patio!!

Really fresh tasting sushi. We got the medium chefs choice, which comes with tuna, salmon, monk liver, albacore, yellowtail belly, white fish, green mussels, dynamite scallops, and one more sashimi I wasnt sure about. The Yellowtail Belly and green mussels were especiallly good. The sushi chefs were very nice and friendly as well.

The food is not good, you should have lunch or dinner somewhere else and just came here for drinks

My friend and I love to sing karaoke, so we decided to try out the Roar Room on a Thursday a couple of weeks ago. I was surprised when we walked in to see that it's a really small place with a few booths against the wall, seating at the bar, and a couple of tables in the middle. They do have a stage with full sound and lighting, which is nice compared to some other bars in the area that do karaoke.

There were about 20 people in the place at around 10pm, so the wait to sing isn't very long. Everyone was very respectful and encouraging to the singers, which also is different from some of the other karaoke places in the area.

I love everything about this place. It is walking distance from my house, great employees, darts, some tvs for sports and trivia on Saturdays.

One of my favorite go to places in the area. Little tucked into the scenary, but a beautiful place at night. The duck udon is must try! Good service, and reasonable prices.

Far Bar has always been my go to for BBQ ribs and sandwiches. I reserved a table for a party of 9 and we were quickly seated and served. The service was exceptional as always and the tables were very clean. Aside from that, when I recieved my plate I realized how small the portions were for the full racks. My family members ordered mixed rib plates and they all seemed unsatisfied with how small the portions were as well. Some mentioned how dry the meat was on their sandwiches. Overall, the food was so so and a bit overpriced but I was satisfied with the service.

The staff was very kind and attentive. This place has many good reviews for a reason.

We came for a quick weekday happy hour before a Lakers game. Service was great, my margarita was delicious, and the nachos were yummy. I wouldn't get the short rib taquitos again as I felt the meat was a little dry. I would like to come back and try the regular menu though!

Far Bar is located near Little Tokyo and walking distance from the Art District in Los Angeles. I personally like this place for it's decor and selection of food/drinks. It's sort of a fusion between American and Sushi. Not so much fusing food and more in the sense that they serve both types. It's never a place that gets too full with patrons, and they have seating for guests who want to eat. There also seems to be a Nintendo 64 with Mario Kart for people to play when they're bored. Sometimes it's projected on a bigger screen.

The food is flavorful and the bar has everything you might expect plus a little bit more, especially with scotch.

Great food, so sad that they charge you for using credit, which is a little puzzling since they are most always packed with people. They caught me one time sharing my coke and charged me for another drink, why? I didn't even have a refill?
Oh well - good food, but a few little things that I did not understand.
I would keep going there but have since moved away.
My advice, go there enjoy the good food and just know you can't share your coke

Great collection of drinks. Great place. Burger was delicious. Services was great.

Waitstaff do their best with busy crowds but a redhead male was condescending and rude to me when I went to pay my bill. Take your money elsewhere to businesses that appreciate it.

Love the beer selection! Must try Yeti by The Great Divide. Great atmosphere. Outside seating highly recommended.

I have been to a few cocktail and tiki bars around LA. Many times I have a hard time finding a drink that leaves an impression but the soul sour is one that I will crave. Every cocktail we tried felt very different as you started on the first page towards the end. The octopus was also worth the wait. I liked the atmosphere and the waiters carrying candles on their trays to make every drink look delightful passing by. I highly recommend this place.

Food was super disappointing though the prices were decent. Food was just barely above your standard bar fare IMO.

Far bar is a local gem in Litte Tokyo. The inside is cool for after work drinks with plenty of screens to catch a game. Their happy hr has good drinks and small bites. They have upstairs area which is good for private events and small groups, but the outdoor bar and alleyway seating is the real hidden gem of this place. The alley looks like a scene out of SF or NY. The only issue, if there isn't a server in the back, the bartender serves drinks and it could take a while to place an order. It's probably easier and faster to order directly at the bar.

This place is Great! I come here for brunch the service is always great, great food AND botomless Mimossas. I'm sold.

I'll return with my relatives. The place has a cool feel to it. Mood here reminds me of Colorado Springs area.

Just moved to the Valley and been looking foe new places to eat. Sushi place... this place was delicious and my order was correct!! I picked up my order myself and the ppl there were nice! I will definitely be going there again.... yummy!!!!

I love Tiki-Ti!!! Definitely a Silverlake staple. It's a very small bar so don't plan on bringing large groups there. It's also CASH ONLY but they have an ATM in the back. Parking out in front is metered parking and relatively easy to find.

I love visiting this place for a drink or two when I'm waiting for our table at Daikokuya. Great draft beer selection and an equally good Japanese bottled craft beer selection.

A great place to get food and beer in little Tokyo. The outdoor area is the place to be with brick walls and decorative lights. Inside there's a smaller bar and a bigger bar with plenty of tables. Large selection of beers to choose from. Great for larger and small groups.

Good chicken burger protein style with grilled onions, tomatoes, lettuce. Yum.

Great food and environment. They are doing a great job with the COVID precautions (masks, hand sanitizer at entrance, well spaced tables). Taylor our waitress did a great job and was very polite and helpful. Cute tapas place for a date night. Nice ambiance, friendly staff, and tasty food/drinks. A bit pricey for Tapa plates but it was a really nice spot.

My good friend Boneclinks recommended this place and i absolutely loved it here! Service is great and everything here is so affordable!

Yummy ! Great food, good vibes and excellent ambience .I've been here for early and late dinner and for late night bar/lounge behavior and I have enjoyed myself every time at this speakeasy and more.

Trendy hipster place! Good service! Cocktails are really delicious! 'whisky mango foxtrot', and 'summer bash' were two of my favourite sweet cocktails. I also tried 'terra nova' which has Jalapeno flavor so it has good spicy kick! Again, delicious spicy drink! Food is ok! Presentation is beautiful, but flavor are not necessarily mind blowing- but good! I had the 'Far Bar Stack's, which is essentially open spicy tuna roll with salmon and cucumber! You can tell that fish is fresh and had good flavor. I really this place to anyone with a group of American and/or Asian fusion food love! Street parking!

Near the end of our dinner, two house merchandise promoters (two girls) brought us "cherry whiskey" sample shots, and one of them took one shot with us. It was a little on the sweet side and pretty smooth! If they have it on the menu- recommended!

-Saturday Night review-

You can almost missed the tiny entrance on 1st street here for the Far Bar. Look for alley entrance! Why is it call the Far Bar? Perhaps, it's because of the long alley or is it because it's filled with Hot Asians on Saturday night?! Who knew!

What I love most about this place is their ambiance...outdoors with plenty of heat lamps and seatings! They also have romantic bulbs lined above you that sets the mood, can anyone say date on a quiet night? Back to Saturday, the DJ was slaying some awesome 90s music out tonight! There's really no room to dance, but it was great to shimmy in my chair!

As for food and drink, here's my take:

Espresso Stout - If you're a Stout and Coffee lover, get it! It's really easy to drink, yum!
Shiitake Burger-Juicy, will make to order! Extra $2 will get you fries. If you like their wasabi fries, ask them to drizzle the sauce! I'm not a super fan of wasabi, so I'm not crazy over it. Ketchup please? :)

-Sunday Night Review-

What's best about Sunday besides the Happy Hour, it's quiet and chill here! Not exactly happening, but I love that you can meet a friend here and simply catch up!
