UPDATE: Got stranded at Union Station, decided to walk the 0.5 mile here after looking at their website and seeing they had an all day happy hour on Sunday. I walked up to the bar and the female bartender with dark hair didn t acknowledge me. I had to get her attention to see what seats were available. She was rude, short and just seemed bothered to be at work much less talk to her customers. For whatever reason, they weren t having happy hour as mentioned on their website and that was all she bothered to say on the topic. She has no customer service skills!!! I left and patronized a business down the street.

1st visit: Laid back down to earth decor. Friendly staff. Great cocktails and the desserts were awesome! Brownie was hot and had a layer of chocolate chip cookie and oreos. My friend has the deep fried oreos and enjoyed them. Nice place for a quick drink and snacks.

Cool place to hang out. Usually attracts a lot of locals but there always a nice mix of crowds. They have good specials follow them on social media for the full local insight. Their pizza is really yummy! Give it a try! Weekends after 10/11 it definitely picks up and Thursday night for ladies night is always pretty busy, but fun, and the bar tenders are great and can serve quickly.

Came in here for a quick drink sunday afternoon with two friends. Waiter took about 10 mins to bring us water which took him about 4 trips total to get the 3 small glasses filled in small amounts each trip...Drink orders finally made. 25 minutes after my friends have received their drinks I am still waiting... he finally tell's me he couldn't "find" the whisky I ordered off their extensive whisky menu. I ordered an alternative which took 25 more minutes and came in a big water glass full of tons of ice which I did not request. I mentioned I ordered my drink neat, the waiter sigh's, takes the drink and immediately brings me "another" which was just the iced down whisky clearly poured into another glass sans ice. Everyones pretty bummed by this point so we request the check. The waiter brings back our card and a copy to sign for a bill that's maybe twice the amount of the bill we just looked at... The waiter charged us for another bill... This place suuuuuucks.

Stopped in on a Tuesday karaoke night and instantly felt welcome. There's a warm fun cozy atmosphere that makes you want to hang out for hours. Dean, the bar wizard, is hilarious and mixed a wicked strong & tasty lemon drop martini. You don't often experience bartenders who are the perfect balance of professional and friendly. You feel like its beyond just getting served a drink. Ambience is great. Theres a nice pool table and You can watch sports or vintage movies . Nice eclectic mix of chill out. Ill be going back for sure.

Before walking in, the place looked pretty small from the outside--I didn't expect anything other than a typical neighborhood bar. Turns out, when you walk in, it's a large 2-story establishment, with lots of customers, energetic background music, and bartenders who look like they have been working there for years and knows a lot of the local customers. The service is professional, and there are pool tables and darts on the 2nd floor. The customers are usually large groups of family or coworkers who go there to chat and hang out.

This bar is cozy! Happy hour is decent & fairly priced for LA. Parking is hit & miss. You may need to drive around in search of a spot around the corner. The bar itself is a bit small, but there is a back room with much more open space and booths if you are going in a large group. They play good music, like classic rock. No modern Kanye or Katy Perry noise, just the classics. Go on a weekday rather than a weekend, I can't imagine a Saturday night there... Thursday night was packed after 8pm.

Made a second visit here. After my first visit, I gave it a four-star review, but that would just be stingy for the quality of meal that we had.Service was terrific; the wedge and Tomato Mozzarella Far Bar were terrific; my wife's and my cut of meat were very good and both the truffle butter and au poivre preparations were great. The service in the bar was terrific as well, and the bartender suggested a Rye Whiskey that was new to me. I simply could not find fault with our experience. Still a bit on the pricey side, but you pay for great service and food.

Hidden bar in the back of a restaurant. Seating inside and outside in the side alley, which looks and feels A LOT better than it sounds. Drinks are great. Food is great. Bartenders know their stuff. Waiters could be a bit more helpful and sometimes it's a struggle to get a table, but if you go for drinks and apps with some friends, you won't be disappointed.

The food is always delicious here wasabi fries and cheeseburger sliders are delicious! Drinks are great but don't let that whiskey bacon drink tempt you. It's just literally whiskey with a piece of bacon.

Tiki aficionados will definitely want to check this place out. There are a few things to be aware of when you plan to visit the Tiki-Ti:
Cash only. This is also one of the few remaining establishments where smoking is permitted inside. Hours are limited, so check ahead to make sure that they're open.

Cool gastropub in little Tokyo w/ food available late. It's at the old historic chop suey sign spot on 1st St. Some good cocktails (I'm partial towards the old fashioneds), small wine selection, significant beer selection (draft, Japanese bottles, American bottles). Nice that it has multiple seating areas. The main front restaurant, a cool little bar area in back, and a nice patio outdoor area.

Hip trendy delicious artisanal cocktails and great bar food. Definitely not a place to take your mom but totally a place to take your girlfriend can be a little bit noisy on the weekends but that is kind of part of the vibe here definitely a place to visit if you plan on being in Little Tokyo for a little bit

Ordered a long island ice tea, a huracane and an AMF only the AMF was decent. The huracane was the biggest disappointment. It was watered down and was mostly shaved ice, literally 86% ice. It might as well have been a margarita.

Love this down-the-alley bar my friend introduced me to recently. I'd give them 5 stars but the last visit left a little to be desired in terms of service. Good drinks. Good food. Okay staff. This place definitely feels off the beaten path and is a great place to bring a date to impress without going broke.

Have to keep taking stars off bc service has gotten really bad. Slow, didn't really know the menu, took forever for someone ro.come over and server kept explaining it wasn't her responsibility be helping us but she would anyways. Twice in a row now.

By far, one of my favorite places to go for a drink or 5 in little tokyo. They have delicious food, and great happy hour. Their craft beer selection is always on point. Only thing I would steer away from is their sushi, it always taste like it's been defrosted... But other than that, everything is amazing there, especially their old fashioned's

All-day Happy Hour on Mondays!

All-day Happy Hour on Mondays!

My girlfriends and I decided to come here for some drinks before our dinner reservation. The bartender, Ali, was very friendly and suggested some drinks. I loved the cucumber gimlet and whiskey sour that he made (first time having a whiskey sour, ever). Would definitely come back when I'm visiting again.

Tiki No is our roommates favorite bar in the whole world! After hearing about it nonstop for a week or two we finally made time to go before a show at the echocomplex. It was definitely worth it! We shared a scorpion bowl, which was amazing! I highly recommend this place for drinks anytime!

Far bar was a a nice bar to stop in for a few happy hour drinks and a chill atmosphere. The bartenders were super cool and chatty. I enjoyed a doc's holiday and Moscow mule, and my boyfriend had a few IPA's. It was a bit hard to find but definitely worth it once we found the entrance.

I had heard a lot about this place from friends and family. But when i finally tried it, i was amazed. The rice they used is sooooo good. The rolls are perfectly made. The fish is so fresh and tasty. The salmon sushi melts in your mouth. The chefs at this place are artist. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

First off I have to say I love the atmosphere. They have great bartenders who can make you any drink and they are darn good. I love the different types of snacks and their great menu. I would highly recommend them. It's a good time.

Great food n great drinks at a great price. My favorite place to go

This bar is an extension of the Far East restaurant. A small brick Alley way to the right of the main bar leads you to this hidden gem in the city. Long wooden tables for large groups (or making new friends), fire lamps for warmth, the atmosphere is a blend of romantic, cozy and lively. Come in, make yourself at home and order half the appetizer menu it's amazing. Probably the best craft beer selection in downtown. Ranging from a healthy tap selection to rarer small and large bottle list.

Nice restaurant with lots of indoor and outdoor space. The food is also good with lots of options and great for groups. Drinks and cocktails are decent for the price too and definitely recommend checking out the happy hour selections of food and drinks!

Love the atmosphere here. Staff and management are very kind and accommodating. We've done a 20+ person birthday get together here and had a blast.

It's right across the street from the Brand blvd entrance of Americana, on the side where there's the Philz coffee and Shake Shack

If you haven't been to Far Bar on a weekend night, you need to go check it out. This place is located in the middle of Downtown Los Angeles. The hostess Olivia is humble, caring and down to Earth. Her boss needs to give her a raise! She makes you feel like you're at home. Shoutout to the bar tender David who is doing a great job with the amount of people there at the bar. I ordered a few cocktails and a flight of beer and they all tasted well. I also ordered their vegan mole enchiladas between drinks and I do gotta say that they need some work. Other than that, it's definitely a place to be!

My favorite bar in LA. Best to sit outside under the lights, romantic for date-chill for a night out with friends. Happy Hour is one of the best in LA. Menu is mixed, you can get sushi, or a burger, or both-with a brownie.

Parking can be a pain, have to park at one of the neighboring lots (if you don't miraculously find street parking) for about $7 or $8

LOOOOVVVEEE this new cocktail bar in Los Feliz. Went last week for their opening and had such a good time! I had the Deep End and Bath House and both were so tasty and unique. Never had a cocktail quite like the bath house. The decor is super cute and the staff is incredibly nice. They have an insane sound system with different DJs throughout the week. Definitely a fun place to go out. Mama like!
