I love taking staycations at various resorts throughout the state, and this resort rates on my top 3 standings. The service, amenities, rooms and restaurants were amazing. Could not have had a better weekeend. The staff even provided a free upgrade for our anniversary. I highly recommend this place

I recently stayed for the pumpkin celebration festival with my family and it was a great time. I like that they had fire pits and allowed you to buy s more making kits. This was a nice treat after eating at La Hacienda. The restaurant was beautiful and the service and food was excellent. It is very dark in there, so if you don t like having a lot of visibility make sure you go during the day. I prefer low light, so it was perfect for me.

My 3 star rating is for the Casita that I booked. My family and I booked several and for the high nightly cost, I was not impressed aesthetically. The casitas were visibly old on the inside and not many upgrades. The bathroom had peeling on the walls, scuffs on the toilet seat and the grout wasn t clean. I did appreciate how comfortable the bed was and the amount of space though.

From looking at other pictures of rooms, it appears they haven t had the opportunity to update the casitas yet. If that s the case, the pricing should be reduced because it s not worth it and you shouldn t feel like your room is dirty.

Overall, the stay was great and the staff was friendly. If I go back, I ll definitely seek other room options.

Great Halloween festival, thank you for putting this on! Lots of activities, clean grounds and facilities, great food. Our family had a wonderful time.

Our family immediately felt welcomed. All bar and pool areas are super inviting. It's the hospitality and warmth from the staff. We had wonderful service from the first to last day of our stay. The beach could use more shade..but I understand that opened just last year so the trees do not provide that much cool shade. There poolside Food was good. Super cold beer! Our kids had a great time. I wish they could have used the VR video games and ride without having to register for the all day program. That part was not specified. Apparently they would have to stay the whole day. They should have a 1 hour option for the older teens interested in VR ride only. Restrooms are extremely clean. Overall this resort was beautiful. We had a relaxing stay.. Very pleased

Only picked up a friend, but heard it's pricey, even for a single room.

Sprawling upscale resort with large rooms. Some.of the amenities are a little dated but not deal breakers. Service is excellent.

Was here for a small wedding. Beautiful facilities and fantastic customer service. The Mexican restaurant is excellent.

I loved staying here and I would absolutely come back. Super comfy beds. Nice clean room. I did get locked in the bathroom for about 15 minutes (the door jammed) and someone had to save me - thankfully I was able to get help but it didn't kill my experience - I just peed with the door open going forward LOL The spa did the absolute best facial I've had and I came out glowing. It's an amazing spa by the way and needs its own review. I loved that whole experience!! I

We had our wedding there and every single part of it was perfect. The staff is by far the nicest and most helpful that i have ever experienced.

Baret Jackson host place... Very nice resort and It was great having the shuttle rides with a short walk to the auction. Del Johnke

I agree with latest reviewers. This was such a pleasant surprise! Our room #4044 was beautiful & had great unobstructed views of South pool, golf & mountains in the distance. Employees were super friendly and the front desk just went above and beyond we celebrated my birthday and it's been awhile since I've been to a resort where they actually care about making you feel special. Special thanks to Jose at the front desk for giving top notch service and and special thanks to Ann for making our visit at the Willow Stream Spa so relaxing & enjoyable! Its people like you that make a difference thank you so much for such an enjoyable stay. We haven't even left yet & already planning out our next visit!

I really love this hotel in Scottsdale. From the front desk and concierge staff to the dog in the lobby, they do all they can to make your stay a WOW!!!!!

Great resort. Beautiful grounds. Lovely rooms, varied types of sleeping rooms. Spa is AMAZING. Staff is top notch.

Like any arcade, your money can go fast here as you move form machine to machine... even faster than your bar tab. Still it's lots of fun to see old faves like Street Fighter and bubble puzzle here as well as reliable pin ball machines. For me though, I'm more impressed with the selection of beers on tap. I tried a couple of brews that were new to me including the cheekily named New Kids on the Hop and the Ascender IPA. The bartender was friendly and answered the questions we had about the brews. There's also a decent amount of seating if you're not wondering around the arcade games.

Beautiful rooms! Great family activities. This is a wonderful resort for families with young kids.

Site of a medical meeting. Good for that purpose. Has plenty of amenities, mostly overpriced, however. Friendly staff.

Serviceable room. We did not really utilize any other amenities on property.

Excellent place to stay, very warm and inviting campus that has an air of fun instead of pretentious while still being a luxury hotel. I always felt like the staff was making sure that they were caring for me and that I had a great stay.

Nice to get out and smell some fresh air. Pandemic period shouldn't hold us back from enjoying some xmas cheer! And the Scottsdale Princess provided that,,

I attended the festival of lights at the princess. The displays were amazing and the rides were fun, but the price for admission and food/drinks were astronomical.

Absolutely gorgeous resort. The rooms are beautiful, amazing views of mountains and pool areas. Very large property. Always enjoy staying here. My only issue is the amount of coffee in rooms. Two regular kpods a day isn't enough. Creamer and sugar selection is great though.

My girlfriend and I we're underwhelmed/not impressed with the display of lights for Christmas. For the $55 general parking/admission fee I expected a bit more. Really we paid $55 to ride a ferris wheel, because things like the "Smore Kit" and pictures we're an additional cost. For example, the "Smore Kit" was an additional $25. I suppose if you wanted a fancy dinner at one of the resort's restaurants, and you got the VIP parking for free, it would not be bad; just don't expect to be super impressed by the lights or anything else IMHO. I cannot comment about, as I have no experience with, the actual resort in terms of accommodations and amenities.

Beautiful resort with exceptional service. I'm a new mom, which makes travel challenging--think lugging around a heavy pump bag and scheduling time to sneak away from a conference for quality time with the milk machine--and the staff here went out of their way to make my stay easier. They sent a complimentary fridge to my room so I could store the milk and gave me access to the most private locker room so I could still pump after checking out. Seems simple but made a huge difference in my travel experience.

You will not find a resort with more hospitable staff then the Princess!

Comfortable. Great property. Easy to get around. A lot of choices of things to do.

Great place to head for a holiday treat and Christmas lit atmosphere. Wonderful atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend for in-town and out-of-town guests.

Nice pools but the staff are rude. One of the security guards wouldn't let me in even though I'm paying to stay here and then he proceeded to call me creapy.

What a beautiful property. We visited for the Christmas event. They have a great light display. There are excellent restaurants and the property is well kept. It's very high end and very pricey.

Casita was ok, didn't live up to expectations. Reflexology at spa wasn't as good as it was the last time I visited.

The property grouonds and commons areas are well kept and very nice. Try always have outdoor fireplaces and use pinion wood so that there is a pleasant odor wafting across the prooerty. Food at restaurants is quite good. Staff is friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, the rooms are outdated. Old furniture, old TVs, and, worst of all, no USB outlets or even an extra plug or two to charge your phone on the nightstand. Be prepared to pull out the night stand and unplug a lamp so that you can plug in your phone.

One other small gripe - the resort resides underneath the Scottsdale airport flight path. Be prepared to hear Cessna small craft airplane taking off every 2 minutes while you sit by the pool.

Maybe don't host public Pumpkin Nights during a pandemic. It felt uncomfortable even going back to the room after dinner. Shame on you for prioritizing a cheesy theme night over your guests' safety.

Unfortunately this place is just a bad memory for me now. We were there for the winter festivities and as I was ice skating with my daughter. I fell and broke my leg because of the hard boot ice skates they make you wear. They put me in a town car and dropped me at the curb of the emergency room for me and my daughter to fend for ourselves. They did not help us out at all either by medical compensation or anything. So beware and be careful!! If you or your child fall and hurt yourself there will be no sympathy or help at all.

Christmas lights and festivities is perfect family fun. Great for the younger set with the family

Christmas at the Princess... Priceless. Elegant. Lovely. Great experience for kids. Loved the train travelling through the holiday light display so much, we rode it twice. The music was perfect, made me jolly af. You haven't experienced Christmas if you haven't been at the Princess at least once in your life.

One of the best resorts in Scottsdale. Awesome place to visit.

I felt like a princess here. Service was great. The accommodations are outstanding. Dinner at the restaurants is very expensive. When u stay there, you pay for the luxury experience. But overall, its a treat to stay there once in a while.

Very nice Christmas experience. Been going since opened several yrs ago. Each year they add something new to the experience. Has become very expensive since they 1st opened. Like everything prices continue to rise. Parking use to be about 15. Now this yr 55.

My family and I stayed here for my daughters birthday. During our stay we had a few obstacles that interrupted our vacation.

Stuart Diminie was incredibly helpful and generous. He listened to our concerns and took care of the situation.
My daughter had a great time with the mermaids. The rooms we had were very spacious and well equipped with all the essentials.

I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to visitors!

Very nice hotel. My wife and I loved it. Had a great view of the TPC stadium course. Staff is very friendly and helpful. In room TV quality was less than expected.

Gorgeous resort/hotel. I've done several beautiful and elaborate events here. The staff is always kind helpful.

Christmas at the Princess is an awesome experience. We have been there a couple times already this year and wouldn't be surprised if we went again.

While we were walking around between pools, one of the golf cart drivers, Christian, picked us up. He was absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. He went far above and beyond to answer our questions about the grounds and even provided insight to some good personal recommendations. He is the type of employee every boss wants! Parking situation could be better. Not clearly labeled and difficult to find places.

It was very beautiful. Kind of hard to walk around though. Amazing. Would go again.

Arizona nights at the princess captures the essence and beauty of Arizona.

I was very relaxing. I felt the staff was very eager to help make us comfortable while we stayed. I will visit again but I have some suggestions. Please change the wheels on the laundry hopper carts to rubber. Every morning we were woke up around 8:00 am or earlier by the sound of the turn down staff rolling carts. The other item was we made reservations and on both reservations we were given a room without a pull out couch for our daughter and had to ask for a roll away. I felt that regular parking shouldn't cost anything if you are a paying guest. The resort fee should cover that. The Hyatt at Gainey Ranch didn't charge us for parking and we have stayed there several times. I just felt there was just a lot of nickel diming going on every time we turned around something costs extra. It really cheapened the experience. That said I hope some of those small changes can be made to make the guest feel a bit more important, valued, and pampered. We hope to visit again soon.

Had wonderful margaritas & lobster tacos at the bar at La Hacienda. Yummy! They also have the most wonderful hot coffee drinks. Walked around taking pictures of the spectacular holiday lights & made our own s'mores at one of their outdoor fire pits. So much fun!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of north Scottsdale. The Christmas lights are incredible and well-worth a visit, especially the "lagoon lights" on the south side of the hotel. Good family event, just be aware that parking is expensive.
