Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Review

Stayed one night in one of the Casitas. Room was great, pools were excellent. Had room service breakfast that was alright. An excellent lunch was had at Toro.

This place is amazing. It has several buildings with rooms. It also has a lot of shops and bars to hang out at. We were here for a business trip. Our company had a meeting catered by the resort and the food is absolutely delicious. While they have amazing facilities, the staff here are amazing as well. Everyone is very nice and it made the trip great. I would definitely stay here again.

We ate at the La Hacienda and then attended the winter wonderland event. Food was amazing, especially the churros. The winter wonderland was cute - especially for families with kids.

This is the best upscale hotel I've ever stayed at! The food, drinks, and rooms are ridiculously overpriced but it's a nice, quick getaway trip hotel.

Great place great staff everyone there is very helpful. We got to use it and off-peak so it was very pleasurable can't say enough about how nice everyone was I enjoyed myself thoroughly can't say enough about it I'll definitely go back and I posted pictures

Christmas at the Princess event was a beautiful sensory filled experience,, with exceptional light displays,holiday music, skating and delicious food available at several restaurants. Don't miss it!

Nice place and the people who work there are also nice. The hallway to the room however smelled sorta like cat pee...

We stayed in one of the rooms that had a view of the pool, it was like we were staying at some resort on the beach, it was very relaxing.
I also reccomend eating at the ironwood American kitchen at night because they have a firework show while you eat!
If you are into taking pictures they have walls that are "selfie instagram worthy."
I will definitely be back here.

Went for the Christmas event through Groupon and was really cool

Christmas at the Princess is a fun experience for the family. The lights were as beautiful as ever and it's fun to end the night with a train ride through the premises if you can tolerate the line.

I was so impressed with the kindness and friendliness of the staff! The pool were very fun, the grounds are so well kept, and all of the food I got here was just amazing! Not to mention the room, which was just lovely. I felt so special the whole time - definitely worth it.

Fantastic stay at the Princess! We arrived just in time to enjoy the over-the-top Christmas decorations and celebrations. Well spaced out with lots of room and outdoor space for anyone concerned with Covid. Do not miss the cocktails being served at the Lodge or the fun fire pits set up in S mores Land.

Beautiful resort but this review is for the pumpkin night. Geared more towards kids, if you don t have a kid I m not sure how you d have fun. It s just lame, lots of photo opportunities, a corn maze that is short in height.. most adults are tall enough to see the exit, rides with long lines but they are kid rides. We drove 30 minutes to get here and spent a total of 30 minutes at the event...at least they didn t charge us for parking, the lot was half empty so they let us park for free. Won t be back, can t recommend.

The Scottsdale Princess had great service, great amenities, great restaurants, and is an overall fun time!

It's a shame I had to write this review based on one individual and one individual only. We stayed here for one night july 3rd for the first time . Everything from the room receptionist, valet, the food.. to the staff that was at the entrances to the pool were very kind and just very hospitable ! Untill my wife got belittled and completely embarrased by an employee checking wristbands at the kids pool. We wanted to stay one more night after our initial experience but they were completely full to capacity, when we checked out, our friendly receptionist explained we can enjoy the pool and ammenities untill 4oclock that afternoon while at the pool this gentleman told my wife she had been misinformed and she needed to get her stuff and get out immediately at 254pm either some employees are not fully informed on policy or this gentleman has no customer relations really sad ending to a really nice beginning stay.

Excellent resort and friendly staff. We spent Christmas there for their annual Christmas event which is always great but super busy!

Had dinner at La Hacienda and it was exceptional. The Carnitas Hacienda was so moist and flavorful. Get some tortillas to go with it. Guac trio was great as well.

Visited for the "Christmas at the Princess". This is by far the biggest lighted Christmas/ holiday display we have ever seen. Very accommodating for ADA people, too. Restaurants, shops, and rides and ice skating...just simply amazing

Words cannot describe the perfection of this place.

Sub par below average management. Nice property, nice facilities, but too many employee issues and lack of understand of their jobs. They don t seem happy to help ever. Seem a bit overworked

The rooms are large. The beds are suportive and comfortable. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. The event space is very nice and professional and the catered food is also very good. They are also accommodating of food allergies.

We are locals and always do a staycation at a local resort. The food was way over priced and so were the drinks. I wanted just a chicken breast for my son and they charged me 30 dollars! Why would they charge that ridiculous price? Way understaffed due to COVID-19 and not the best stay for the money.

I was there to attend a gathering that was semi professional in nature, not quite a "conference" but not fully a vacation either. I came in a bit early to avail myself of the facilities and loved it. It has been quite a long time since I was last at the property and love all of the expansion over Last 10 years. I also love that you are now a dog friendly property. So if you only had a pool that did not allow children :-)

Great stay in the casitas. The water slides are really fun. Awesome resort for families.

Beautiful light display for Christmas and nice common areas...our room was a little banged up and pigeons lived on the balcony...lots of bird poop there

Stayed here for the Christmas at the Princess. The event itself was great and we had a lot of fun. My issue was with the room. We stayed in a suite, which was pretty pricey. The room was old, outdated, and dirty. The walls were dirty, the blinds were dirty, the light switches were dirty. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been renovated since the 90's. Definitely not what I'd expect for a room that cost $900/night.

Did not stay at the Fairmont. We went to pumpkin night @the princess. It was so much fun. Alittle pricey for the s'more pit and drinks were definitely not cheap. The rides were amazing and social distancing guidelines were in place for the most part. Looking forward to the Christmas event.

My family and I went to the Christmas at the Princess event. We have been the past few years and always have a great time. This year was no different except I do wish we would have been able to see how many events were being held that night. There were multiple corporate and other events going on with the attendees visiting the Christmas festivities, which made it extremely crowded. More so than any other year! If we had known we definitely would have chosen another night.

My wife and I have made multiple trips to the Fairmont Princess and each trip has been wonderful! Great pools and restaurants... and pool side catering!

Absolutely fabulous! Missed the official kick-off of Winterland by a day but it was all set up. The number of Christmas lights was truly amazing. Can't say enough about how welcoming the staff was! Took our 2 small dogs and they were welcome everywhere.

Very fun and exciting! Food was great, smores were awesome and rides were fun. Perfect place to go with the family

Went for Christmas at the Princess like we do every year as a family and as always we loved it!! They added a new elf who plays the role perfectly and my kids really enjoyed him! There is so much to do, ride a train, ride the ferris wheal, coursel, make smores, see Santa and my kids personal fav snow tubing down a hill! Highly recommend Christmas at the princess for an amazing family fun night!

Other resorts close by are more fun, romantic, and have better restaurants!

Attended christmas at the princess, nice little place fantastic lights, entry is not bad if you bring a big car but ice skating and drinks are very pricey.

What a place to spend time relaxing! Huge property with lots of acreage and the typical Arizona earthy look and feel to it. Like a very large sunny Spanish location.
I was here for a business conference and had a great time with nothing to complain about. The resort is very well planned and has many restaurants serving different cuisines prepared by professionals. I have a few pictures for your reference.
It has 5 pools, a golf course, lots of well landscaoed open spaces fit for large gatherings.
The staff are very professional and you can see them going on with their duties without botheirng the guests. You can literally spend a week here and not miss the outside! The resort has some exotic remedies to bird problems so guests are not troubled when dining in the open.
The ballrooms and business centres are very well planned for medium to large gatherings up to a 1000 or more guests.
The staff are well trained and you could make out from their interactions with guests and if you host an event here, rest assured you are in good hands.

It is in Scottsdale, AZ and even when the temperatures are in the high 90s, this resort is a cool place to be.

Amazing place for a rest and relaxation getaway. My wife and I spent the weekend there Nov.24-26. Its just what was needed to recharge our batteries. Rooms were nice and comfortable. The pool and spas were very clean and well kept. We happened to be there for the Christmas decorations too, so that livened the place up with all the lights and music. Oh and for the best Mexican food on the planet, La Hacienda inside the hotel property was to die for.

Needed to drop something off for a guest and customer service was very accomidating and made sure it made it safely.

Beautiful resort in Scottsdale. The service was excellent. New and updated rooms were great too. We were there during the off season when it was really hot and hardly anyone was staying at the hotel.

The staff were friendly and courteous. Very service minded. We ate at the steak house restaurant near the lobby. Everything was excellent.

My 3 year old had a great time at the Christmas at the princess. Train, carousel and a ferris wheel with much more to do.

Went there for the Christmas experience that they offer and it's just getting too big. You pay an exorbinant fee and can barely do any of the attractions due to long lines. Then on top of the fee you have to pay for photos with Santa. You should get at least one for free with the price. Anyway, we won't be back unfortunately.

Wonderful resort. Kind staff and tremendous amenities. Walk in tile shower. Several pools. Comfortable bed. Immaculately clean rooms. Close to stores and restaurants. Did not try the on premise dining. Plan to stay here on future trips.

Lovely hotel with an extremely attentive staff. The Christmas events draw a lot of families with small children. Keep that in mind when visiting in December. I would definitely stay there again.

Until you stay here for Christmas time with the kids, you don't really know how much fun you're missing out on. It gets SUPER busy during the holidays, but totally worth it.

We only visited La Hacienda restaurant at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. The service, food, and drinks were wonderful, but the prices are higher than you'd expect from typical Mexican restaurants. That said, this is not typical Mexican food. Dishes have an upscale quality and gourmet appeal, although tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas are on the menu, as well as other entrees.

Great location and atmosphere! Room service was a bit slow. Overall I would definitely stay here again. The Christmas decorations and shows they have are amazing!

Amazing hotel.... From the pools to the staff to the food everything was top notch!

The hotel bars have good atmospheres and usual priced drinks for the area. We ate at Bourbon, which overall was good, but not necessarily for the price. The staff was courteous and attentive, the food was cooked perfect, but the ambiance wasn't what you'd expect out of a place serving an 8oz filet for $55 as their cheapest steak option.

Was only there to pick up my kids who were visiting friends from out of town. The property looks amazing.

Great spot. Patios are awesome in the evening. Awesome vibe and good cocktails! Pleasant stay.

The propery is beautiful and was decorated for the holidays. The room was nice and clean. Staff was professional and polite.
