Nice room!! Prefer hot chocolate instead of tea or coffee! A little pricey for room, private bar, $300+for an 11am checkout. Parking may require you to walk a stretch to your Casita! Some homes have privacy fence or enclosed. Mine didn't. More online with a romantic ambience! Spacious room. Didn't get a chance to get overall experience!

Casita stay is less attended than elsewhere, I imagine. Previous guest's room service trays were left outside overnight. It was busy due to the Christmas events being open to public so we had nowhere nearby our room to park one night. Staff drove to our room with golf cart. No included breakfast, there are nice places to eat at onsite if you're willing to pay. Aside from that, everything is nice. Room is clean, staff is helpful.

We came here for their Christmas event. It was set up pretty nice with fire pits, Farris Wheel , ice rink, train ride and s mores. I found it was pretty expensive for what we got but I thought it was a good time. The lights were nice and the people were nice. I d come back and maybe stay next time.

Nice hotel, rooms a little small. Some of the hall covering leaks, but we were there during some fairly serious rain. Otherwise, the hotel is beautiful, lots of outside heated seating areas, and beautiful views. Staff is friendly and proactive.

Luxurious hotel with large, beautiful grounds and big rooms. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Lots of birds! Food options were too expensive, and with my conference, I felt like I had no other options because of the location. The Mexican restaurant was closed for the summer, so I ended up eating most meals at the same restaurant. Overall, nice if you're into this style of hotel, but probably more affordable options out there.

Beautiful, massive property with big rooms and all the amenities you could want. The outside walls could use some refinishing and some of the tile work looks pretty shoddy, but over all it's very nice.

Hotel, Shuttle Service and Staff were great in eve...

Hotel, Shuttle Service and Staff were great in every way. Really enjoyed our stay. I plan a golf trip every year for a group of guys and the staff was wonderful to work with and everything went off flawless. Only complaint is the handling of our golf clubs. All of us ship our clubs for ease of travel. when we got there, we had to walk through the convention hall were people were gathered, collect our clubs, pay an extra $25 to get the clubs and if we wanted them brought to the room and extra $30 - The gentleman at the counter was very rude when I asked about a "handling" fee, just so I could get my clubs. He insisted this is common in "nicer" resorts - eluding that I must not stay in such places. Anyway, I plan 2 golf trips a year and never had to pay for a handling fee. Then we had to pay another fee to get them out - having to write my credit info on a piece of paper and leaving it with the valet desk - This process should be worked out and included if using the Championship golf package - Just a suggestion. Thanks for your time - other than that we had a wonderful time.

What a lovely place to stay. Came for our anniversary. The staff is so amazing. Starting with Jacqueline at the front desk to Brenna Connor Vivian Emily and Errol you all made our trip so wonderful because of your sweet natures and kindness!!

Our room was beautiful. Clean large and just beautiful. Comfy bed and huge towels are a big bonus. The pools were amazing clean spacious seating and attentive servers. Loved just chilling by the pool.

Looking forward to coming back!

We went during Christmas eve for a Christmas event. There was a Farris wheel, merry go round, and a sled slide for the kids and adults to enjoy. They also sell Christmas items like s'mores, hot coco etc. Very enjoyable time for the family.

TO THE GENTLEMEN, honored by Queen Elizabeth II, C...

TO THE GENTLEMEN, honored by Queen Elizabeth II, Commander of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II: Laurence Geller, the CEO of the company that owns the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess resort.

I just want you to know that my stay at this hotel was superb.

I worked at 5 star hotels at another hotel chain and can genuinely say that this property is in that same strata. In particular, the staff at this hotel, from the front desk to the bellmen, to the housekeeping - EVERYONE was incredibly (an genuinely) hospitable and friendly. Well done.

I will absolutely recommend anyone to stay at this wonderful resort.

If I may offer a small amount of constructive criticism that I would like to bring to your attention - is that the AC unit in the room was my only negative part during my stay (not enough to take away a star, however).

I absolutely understand that the hotel is basically in the middle of the desert (Scottsdale AZ), so there may be environmental factors to consider. However the AC:

1. would not allow me to go below 65. I checked the thermostat at 2am (I couldn't sleep) and it said that the room was at 70 degrees.

2. The AC unit in my room was by the door and it was really noisy. You know when you turn on the vent in a bathroom how it makes that whirring noise? That was the sound in my room all night long.

As a result, I really had trouble falling asleep. I'm the kind of guy who needs either airflow or the room to be cool in order to fall asleep. As a result - even though your beds are like sinking in to a magical cloud of comfort (seriously amazing) I coudn't sleep!

I can't ding the hotel however - it's in the desert and they are probably trying to be at least somewhat eco friendly. Just an observation I would definitely stay here again however next time I"m definitely going to ask for a floor fan before my next stay.

If you see the Queen please give her a windmill high-five for me

Best Regards,
- Dave

We have been fortunate enough to visit many of the amazing resorts Arizona offers as a destination, and not all our equal. The Princess was in the process of a much needed makeover. So the signature "Princess" pool was closed. The bar by the other pool closed at 5!!?? This was surprising, and perplexing. Not sure what their motivation is to end service so early especially when this is one of the nicest conveniences we look for at a resort. That is, icy, alcoholic concoctions delivered to my lounge chair at exorbitantly high prices- which we are happy to pay while on vacation. Ok, happy til I see the bill. This place is enormous. Walking anywhere is a hike, and when available carts are a necessity, but they were difficult to find. Considering the place was virtually empty I pondered where they were. The Princess is beautiful, the room exceptional, but all things considered - including the competition, the Princess needs something in order to stay in the staycation game. I get the feeling, they are ok with this, and will plow forward with what has made them a premier destination. Again, I've stayed at most of the resorts, and aside from their location, they are middle tier in all other categories. Yes, that means mediocre. Average. Sorry, Princess.

While we did not stay at the Fairmont the grounds and concierge area where impeccable. The staff we came in contact with were eager to assist. We went over because they had a car rental area and we wanted to get a vehicle for one day of sightseeing.

What a majestic place to be this time of year. My husband brought me for our anniversary and I have to say this is an anniversary for the books. The staff was marvelous. Dar at check-in made us feel exceedingly valued, recognized the special occasion, and comp-ed multiple drinks; even upgraded our room to a luxurious suite to celebrate the occasion. Bar staff was phenomenal as well. The Christmas lights where an extra special touch, done up beautifully. I hope this feedback is helpful.

The Fairmont Scottsdale princess is probably my favorite hotel in the US. I stayed here in one of the full Casita villas it was gorgeous it had a full living room with a table and couches and a fire place, porch with table and chairs and then a separate room with king bed and walk-in closet and a bathroom the size for 10.

The hotel has 7 pools each one nicer than the next a pool with a beach another with basketball ball hoop bad volleyball nets. One pool with 2 200ft water slides and the main pool behind the main building is enormous and beautiful

The hotel service was 5 star with golf carts available 24/7 to take you around the massive grounds.

The bars here are expensive but worth it best drinks ever!!

Definitely recommend this place 10/10

Had a great time at the Christmas at the Princess. Lots of fun activities for the whole family. The s'mores were fun, the hot chocolate was divine, the cookies were incredible but girl those waffle fries were to die for. Don't skip out on any of it.

We went at Christmas and they put on an incredible Christmas event. Lots of people and kids during the evening but things quickly quiet down. Rooms are very nice. The property is huge so it can get tiring if you go from parking to room and the various pools. Several restaurant choices which all look good.

Beautiful property and awesome service! The kids loved all the pools and slides and we loved our couple hours relaxing on the bean bag pool floats in the adult pool while our boys were at the kids camp for the morning. All of our food and drinks were amazing, we will definitely be back!
