Fairmont Makati Review

the room that I check in is so comfy and the foods are delicious and fresh.

Fairmont Hotel is top-notch and world-class. This is definitely one of my favorite hotels in Makati for its nice interiors and convenient location.

The amenities are good, the room is huge, and bath is really really cool. The swimming pool, spa, and gym are also nice. The lobby is not as grand compared to Shangri-La and The Peninsula but the other areas and interiors compensated for it.

Wake up early because the breakfast in Spectrum is such a delight! Prepare your tummies!

Tip: Foreigners will surely enjoy the best of Greenbelt and Glorietta Malls where you do your shopping from luxury to budget stuff. The malls are just a few feet away from the hotel.

This can be a business hotel because of its proximity to the Makati Business District.

Fairmont is a nice place to stay with very accommodating staff.

I never expected place offers good food for a hotel.
Only downside is the parking is not very helpful. I made u-turns many times because I was mislead to park at Park Terraces, do the valet and because I missed the underground parking entrance

Great experience with very minor things to improve. Great service and room! Nice location.

The island part of their pool needs to be fixed. The small tiles breaking off leaving sharp edges. It hurt my kid but nothing serious. And one thing, the lamp under water also went off but they fixed it immediately. But kinda scary bec someone might get electrocuted. Staff reassured that it won't and fixed it right away.

Still, we enjoyed our stay.

New & very clean hotel with fast Internet and spectacular service. The waiters at the breakfast restaurant even welcome me by name and know my favorites.

Such a pleasant experience when we organized one of our events. The coordinator and the staff are attentive and are on standby to assist and to provide technical support, especially the audio and video set-up.

The food they served are appetizing, delicious and nicely prepared.

There's wide selection of food in Spectrum, especially for vegan and those who love Japanese cuisine, cheeses and seafood.

One thing to note for those organizing events here is that since they have limited function rooms, it easily gets fully booked for the next couple of months in advance. Better to book as early as 6 months prior to your actual event.

Great hotel and get food ..... I got charged 10,000 pesos more than my bill actually was and got no explanation as to why ..... offered free afternoon tea as compensation ..... there are better hotels in Makati ..... stay clear of the UNFAIRmont !!

The venue is very beautiful and the events place is very large. The food, on the other hand, is very delicious and they are generous in giving.

Luxury hotel located strategically in Makati near the Greenbelt shopping centres. It is just beside Landmark, the much loved mall for the locals.

Fairmont has great environment, excellent decor, fabulous room, friendly staff and first class service.

Good location and staff very kind! As security is solid, you can stay in peace. It is easy to use as room is large, and bathtub and shower room are different in bathroom. I like the pool which has a long lane. The breakfast buffet is also very delicious.

Review for Spectrum:
Dined in buffet ala minute style. The choices though not that much, isnt that bad. the beef dishes (burgundy, or braised or the usda one) and desserts are must try. the staff are very accommodating and patient, dishes come in on time. Came here for a bday and they provided a special cake for the celebrant, very nice. place is clean and bright, very relaxing. Will come back again

Fairmont Hotel doesn t value their words to clients.

Last December I got stuck in their first floor bathroom due to a defect in their door nob. It took around 30 claustrophobic minutes for us to get out. The manager quickly apologized and said they will do everything to make up for it. Why I obliged not to further take action on the issue.

Now that I asked them to act on their word they totally left me to feel their word is useless. They just offered me a 15% discount for the hassle which I can get from my ARC card. They have formed a mockery of their word. Their apology is meaningless. This is not Ayala standard.

So disappointing.

Expensive for nothing. The price better to choose Shangrila. I asked for spoon they charge for room service 800 php

Very nice hotel. Great staff who are always friendly. Rooms are large with massive bathrooms. The buffet is amazing, best breakfast I've had in a long time.

Bed was large and comfortable.

Only criticism is that the carpets are a touch fatigued and could be replaced. Over all, best hotel I've stayed at in a long long time.

Very new hotel at the time of visit (may 2016). Service is great. Hotel staff are amazing, all nice and helpful, always with smile on their face. The only thing I hate is the airport transfer, they charge 2000 peso for a 240 peso journey.

Room and service is the best as compared to my past experience with other hotels. As to the food, I just had in-room dining, which needs improvement.

Convenient location. They even have basement access going to Landmark. Staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Clean rooms. Beds are very comfy. They have many choices of great foods. This hotel feels like you're in Shangri-la hotel, though smaller, the whole ambiance is very relaxing, staffs are always smiling and the amenities are at par with some 5 star hotel. It's connection to landmark mall and other big commercial establishments is a plus factor, their parking is a bit limited but that's it, the food is great, gave it a 4 star and will definitely comeback and recommend this hotel

Centrally located in Makati city and has all the standard bells and whistles expected from a five star hotel. Very courteous and warm staff. Couple of things which need improvement
a) we experienced multiple confusions around their billing process, charges already paid were levied again on the bill and had to be reversed
b) there were roasted groundnuts provided on the table at the bar (Long bar) were not at all edible (would have expected QC to check before being put in front of customers).
