The worst airport I have ever been to. their Man's room disappeared . totally 8 spots in the Waiting lounge. the rubbish airport my gate is 14 they block every way

Washrooms are not clean. Staff ppl are cooperative . Airport is fine.

Exterior decor specially Bangla font embossing is looking different & the hole atmos is nise.

Very good airport with almost all required facilities. Few best thing I liked there was smoking zone which is very easy to find. Such facilities are very good for smokers and especially for people like me who hates smoking. Only thing I disliked there was security check. It was very time consuming for at around 9:00 PM on Sunday.

A huge Airport and is a very busy Airport. Inspite of the fact that there are lacs of people using this Airport everyday it is kept so clean and decorated so beautifully. Although it is not so well connected with the outside and that is one negative point but nowdays with Ola uber in our fingertips this ain't much of an issue as such. I hope the authorities will keep managing the airport the way they have been doing for last few decades.

You can clearly see the difference between the airport which is maintained by AAI here and the airports maintained by private parties like GMR etc. Airport has got lot of space but less persons with 'may I help you' batch. Waiting area is clean but quality of seats need to be improved. Washroom were super dirty. There are lots of places where there are no proper sign boards or direction boards. You need to again go for security check even if you are coming through domestic transfer gate.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is one of the very clean airport I found in India. Good number of free spaces for walking and they organizes the airport very well. I never feel any problem on airport. Staffs are very friendly. Price of the foods are not very expensive. Food quality is very good in reasonable price. I recommended to take a Cappuccino Coffee. Test of the coffee was very good. Very clean washroom.

Very large and spacious airport. Has all modern amenities. Very well connected to the city and suburbs via buses/ trains. Airport metro service is yet to start. Staff is very cooperative.

Pretty ok...good people...take bus from sealdah or hawrah..approx 2 hr...

I like Kolkata airport mostly because it isn't always crowded like other Airports.

Kolkata Airport is one of the best and cleanest Airports in India, it is well maintained by AAI. It has an annual capacity of 26 million passengers and it serves about 22 million passengers on an average, it will reach its serving capacity very soon. Therefore, a planned extension is commissioned which will demolish the old international terminal building to connect with this new terminal and we will soon see a new infra added to this awesome building. Due to the access to a number of lounges inside the Airport you can easily manage hours of waiting without getting bored. #MagDIGIT

It's a international airport. There are so many helpdesk and security. Any you also get respect. They are very very helpful. If you go this airport for first time, you have no problem about this, and don't worry. Staff are very very responsible.

It is a extremely big airport. It offers a very fast service whether it is about security check in aur anything else. One can also buy many things like shoes, clothes, purse, etc here. Variety of snacks and juices are available here. The passage for entering in a Indigo flight is amazing.

It's best airport I ever been.Everytime I visit here I get nostalgic and mesmerized.Nice and we'll mentained.Good supporting staff.The city of Joy has made its airport also joyful.

The Kolkata airport was renovated a few years ago and it is much much better than it used to be. However, for an international airporr, it still falls short of other major cities airport in many ways. Entering the airport always take a long time as security needs to check every passenger's boarding pass, and they aren't efficient at all. The washrooms are 'ok', the lounge is 'ok', the immigration and actual security checks are 'ok'. There are so many small and easy things they could do, but don't. Hence, it is not more than a 3 star airport, a shame for such recent facilities.

Well maintained airport but it's so far from city takes too much time.

Excellent Airport, a sea change from its predecessor. The Airport is well managed and easily accessible and provides a pleasant and comfortable experience for passengers.. What it lacks in shopping it more than makes up for in the top end eateries

Dirtiest toilets of any airport i ever visited others cleanliness were with 5 star ratings and staff support to 5 star

Only the security has a strict approach.My flight was delayed but nobody was there to inform at the gate, nor the display boards were showing correct status. Although not for long, but for half an hour all passengers were confused till the flight did not arrive near the gate.I must admit the toilets were in pathetic condition.Water spilling over the floor. Commodes dirty. Really disgusting. One can never expect cleanliness here in Kolkata.

First class airport. Very clean and cozy. Different branded shops are here. You can wait here for a long time without boredom. Beautification was done in national and international flight departures. A pre-paid taxi facility is there. Staffs are very helpful and polite. Interior design is very nice and beautiful.

Biswa Bangla outlet that brings the whole of Bengal's creativity under one roof, is a must visit place, if time permits.

The new terminal is far better than previous one. Lots of space is there. Hassle Free and Quick check in. It interior decoration is awesome.

International airport,very good accomodetion after delhi airport.

Scope for improvement in management of aircraft positioning &helping passengers is there.
Small but sincere efforts would certainly improve the things drastically.

The construction is a bit complicated but the interior is great. Being an airport in the metro city it is not up to the mark as compared to the airports of Delhi & Mumbai.

Pathetic - public addressee is stopped for Covid and display boards are not getting updated. So make sure you speak to airlines staff

One of the Best State of the art Airport...very neat and clean...ample space for waiting...Shops and restaurants are very expensive

This flight hub is well maintained by the Airport Authority of India. The airport is at par with global standard, spacious and airy too. The roof is nicely decorated with Tagore's works and the natural sunlight makes the entire place beautiful. Immigration counters have been increased. Parking could be improved a bit.

It is one of the best airports in India.It is an international airport.The airport area is well decorated and spacious.Staffs are well behaved and humble.Neat and clean wash room.Shopping complex is awesome.The airport is one of the busiest airports.Anybody can taste the traditional bengali sweets from the sweet shops.Traditional bengali dishes are also available from the food court.Food cost is little bit high.Security checking is also easy.

Decent infrastructure, recently upgraded their baggage scan system. Needs work in the crowd management and planning department.
Most of the airline staff are helpful but on every occasion I found few of the airport staff to be rude, dismissive and outright dishonest.
The arrival gate of the airport is full of scamsters, all of the taxies will overcharge for rides, bus services do not run late into the night (9.00pm) and the airport itself does not have proper marking that one could follow to the nearest bus stop. In my recommendation exercise extreme caution while arriving at the airport, if possible pre-book your taxi or use an app-cab (it will still overcharge you but less than those yellow cabs). Departure is smoother after 11.00am (mornings are super crowded).

This version is better than the last one. With passing days it's getting better. There is a scope of improvement in terms of customization of service, lounge service needs a better look. Am sure with time encouraging changes will become a feast and fantasy for both domestic and international travellers.

Not the best airport among other airports in India but still easily accessible and good but needs improvement .

The place is very slow, inspite having long lines only 1 belt was open for security check-in and it happens everytime. Shops and eateries are good.

Awesome airport. Currently upgraded. All the modern facilities are available here. It's a major airport of eastern India. It's named after legendary Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

World class international airport with all the facilities available. Good atmosphere. Friendly people all around and very helpful too. It is also one of the main airport in India connecting to every main cuties of India. Good waiting chairs in all the gate.

Worst airport of India. No service. At arrival belt, there was not a single trolley. When asked to duty person, he reply, he dont know. Very bad experience. For internal transfer also like domestic to international or reverse, the lift at corner of both end. Not easily find. So passanger carry their luggage by elevator for departure.

Home airport always holds a special place in your heart. No, its nothing compared to the world famous Delhi T3 but it's an airport which is emotionally effective for me. I do not care about it's infrastructure and all. What I know, landing here makes me happy and departing from here makes me sad!

Clean, well-planned and spacious airport. The boarding gates are not located far away from the security checkpoint, so there's no need to walk excessively. Departure waiting area has ample of shops and food outlets so passengers won't get bored. Security staff is courteous.
Moreover, it is a very convenient airport for transit passengers because the domestic and international gates are near to each other, thus saving time for transit.

It has changed a lot since I first started boarding flight in 2007. Awesome view of the top inside. Food services are still behind that of Delhi or Bangalore airport but still it's better than others.

The airport environment and behaviour of officials are friendly. Airport authority portray the culture of Bengal in a very smart way. It is quite easy for a traveller to get a glimpse of the culture and tradition of a society by visiting its airport.
However the authority should focus on the cleanliness of the toilet.

Not up to the mark to IGI, but convenient. Waiting areas only have chairs, retiring rooms and beds available on payment, smoking room available on both floor. Lounges also not at par with Delhi lounges.

Absolute worst airport I've been in!! I don't care if you have an impressive architecture, what matters is how easy it is to navigate and whether it's intuitive, comfortable, and above all makes you feel safe. Well, it checks none of that. First of, you have to apparently scan your own luggage before you check in and get a boarding pass. Maybe a sign would be helpful? Not all of us just pick up these rules in the air. I lost count of everyone in line with me only to go back and load their own luggages to this antiquated machine. And mind you, I only saw one of those machines for the airport. Convenience is just key for this place.

Second, the whole bag drop off and check in process is disorganized, at least on IndiGo. There was no one to help organize the lines and make sure things are running smoothly. Seriously? With all the people looking to check in, there's no one who can help?

Third, security is a joke. You hand the boarding pass to a guy who controls the line. Not really sure what he checks since he just signs the paper without any scanners or anything to validate the boarding pass by. Then, you go through the metal detectors only to be patted down by an unfriendly and condescending "officer." If I may ask, what's the point of the metal detector if everyone HAS to be patted down anyway. Seriously? We deserve better treatment than this. And as an icing on the cake, you STILL have to hold on to your boarding pass for dear life. How many times do they have to check my boarding pass? There's a signature here, a stamp there, a couple more markings all over. What's the point? I happen to be one of those who didn't know this rule which was "clearly publicized" in the security area. I'm being sarcastic if that wasn't clear.

After one inconvenience after another, it's hard to appreciate this airport. I just wish things were better.

Neat and tidy place. Usually one can expect warm behaviour from the employees of different organisations. An international airport with promising future.

Even if its clean and service is as quick as possible. Most of these people have to leave seat to contact someone else for information they dont know.. and the rude and bossy behaviour and management they provide i hope that isn't what they do to foreigners too... Imagine an international down rating and not recommending the services here... I would suggest the oldies to take a seat back home and let the ones with better personality have it. I would also recommend inspection of their services and proper survey of nationals and internationals about their experience and improving accordingly... Your quality for a few staff members ultimately deteriorates to a cheaper one... Hope you all improve soon...

Very good airport. Everything runs smoothly here. Very clean & hygienic place. Foods courts are good. I enjoy the experience whenever I come here
