Nice and clean airport. Except the lounge which needs to be cleaner, lost of mosquitoes around.

Well, I have been to this place quite a few times. No complaints but, I want to address 1 thing that made me review 1 less star. I visited this place during 18th March 2020 (Corona period), what I felt was negligency on checking of corona positives, which sounds irrelevant here I know, but it's a thing, and yes the authorities should have ensured proper checking. Otherwise very well maintained airport, infact one of the best in the nation. Hopefully my review reach take eyes of responsible authority. Kudos.

One of the Fourth Mega city in India.. Airport employees are so pleasent and cheerful.. As an Airport Authority Of India Employee, I must say We love our Kolkata.. so many Lounges are over there with variety of aircrafts.. please visit and give us your valuable feedback for helping others and more new upgrades.. The flight system is very correct... And the nearest park behind the airport is lovely, wonderful

I love this airport, I have traveled so many times but never disappointed me by anyway.

Airport is clean, beautiful and huge.
It is operational for both domestic and international travel.
Security check process is hasslefree and strict.
Few brand shops are available inside the airport. Free wifi is available.
In the transit area there are very beautiful water fountains.
Airport and Airlines Staffs are helpful.

During My visit I saw a beautiful rangoli of Indian Flag.
Covid guidelines are followed strictly here.
Currently you have to bring RTPCR negative report for travelling to Kolkata.

To describe Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport it can be said that its good airport. The structures and the facilities are good and top notch. The airport looks great it's neat and clean where is there is to Mini display boards for flights it's internal order from where both International and Domestic operating and there is a half from where it's been clearly mentioned it will be separate from there. Overall it should be a great experience for you guys if you fly from here and somewhat you guys will feel a bit low compared to other but like Delhi or Mumbai but where is I will see it's a good Airport you will enjoy down here.

Excellent & beautiful airport in the eastern part of India

Lack of measures in implementing social distancing, starting from entry into the airport to luggage dropping. Also the urinals have water all over on the floor

Average Airport that looks like a Bus stand. No proper lounges. The smoking zones are closed due to Covid.

This airport is of international level. Very well maintained and Staffs of airport are very cooperative.

Kolkata airport is very modern having all facilities and superb infrastructure ....

Food rate is two much of High. There have some police so much of attatude .

This is one of the busiest airport in India. Everything like shopping areas, Gate numbers, Restroom etc are well mentioned with detail sign boards. Perfectly decorated and one of the cleanest airport of India.

A Huge international airport with every systemized operations. I had passed by this airport several times but never felt any hassling situations.

It would be more liked by the tourists if more souvenir shops are established there.

In this covid situation, the airport authority is taking proper measures for the passengers. They sanitize the luggages of coming guests. The airport is also kept clean. Security personnels are very helpful. Now, domestic fights are operating within the country. But, take precautions as the pandemic is not over. It is everyone's responsibility to keep others safe also.

It used to be one of the worst airports till a few years back, but after the new terminal this is now one of the best. The approach road has also improved majorly. Overall now this is one of the best airports in the country with travel time from Central Kolkata of about 45 minutes.

A very good experience and nice stay for 3 days in silver line. Property was very well maintained and there staffs are very comparative.

My very own home airport which I love despite of some shortcomings as it gives me a sense of warmth and comfort as soon as I land.

Valuable transport hub and entire gateway of Eastern India

India is now developed country, growing faster than other countries of this area and taking its position in world power subsequently. However with the growing power of india west bengal is also growing faster than other states of india.to showcase the increase growth,netaji subash chandra bose airport is reconstructed and now it is one of the best airport not only india but throughout the world. The airport is divided in two segments and it is widely distributed.it is very comfortable for any people around the world.the procedure is really easy and accommodated nicely within comfortable arena.anybody would like it

Transport to city and subarb is not available in a organised way. Touts are everywhere particularly at late night.

Kolkata airport is quite good and very busy. It is beautiful too. But unfortunately Kolkata seems like a crumbling kingdom. Just outside the airport you can see the contrast of modern versus decaying city. A very good connectivity with differnt modes of public transportation like bus, metro etc. You can get the famous yellow cabs from nearby too. Wish the Government could improve the infrastructure, broaden the roads and clean the city.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose airport one of the biggest airport in eastern India. It has large frequencies of flights for all domestic and approx all international airports. Nicely maintained and big airport. Also known as dumdum airport. Nice interior with Bengali alphabets printed on ceiling and used entirely as theme everywhere. Traffic handover is also better the no of delayed flight is negligible.

Liked the way, security guard at entry was comparing my photo id and myself... Appreciate the effort our guards render.

A bit mess at x-ray scanner entry, few passengers were in hurry ...

There should be more officials deployed for security check

One of the best airport no doubt, 3 stars I am giving due to custom officers, they keep us wait in the queue for more then an hour in the name of inspection each and every passanger. We already go through so many scanning and checking through out our journey and at the time of excit they take one hour sometimes more which is not logical.

That place is very nice and clean, Especially I like cleanness.
And I am very happy to tour that place

The biggest airport roof I have seen so far. I could be wrong as I haven't travelled much places yet but this one was the biggest I ever had seen.

Well maintained, everything is systematic, all facilities available... Taking all precautions during covid19... Clean and hygienic

First impression @arrivals... Too bad as there is a lot of scope to improve the washrooms and interiors. But when I came back after week at the departure section, it was damn good though more security gates and luggage counter might help passengers to pass through security quicker. Also there should be better connectivity of public transportation. Overall the experience was good if compared to other big airports in the country.

not very impressive airport compare to Delhi and Mumbai international airports, some time long queue for CABs. OLA and Uber stand just on the exit or airport

I had been to Kolkata like Ard 5 years back, then and this one is way different. Really liked the airport and it's much spacious as compared to the earlier one and lots of greenery and spaces all around. Good options to sit around and loved the display that is an extension of a bit of kolkata. And I love kolkata boosts of the love of kolkata people for the city and culture.

Large & clean airport, should increase domestic and international flights;

Large airport but not the largest in India. Neat and Clean airport. Sufficient number of counters, so not much rush.
Departures gates on 1st Floor as well as ground floor.
Sufficient number of chairs to accommodate all.
Having free Wi-Fi also.

Big and clean airport.. staffs are friendly.. use the lounge if you have lounge pass

Kolkata is an airport with relatively few international flights, hence, I have always found it uncrowded and quiet. At the immigration counter dedicated for e-visa travelers, I was the only person and the paperwork including capture of biometric data electronically was quick and smooth. In less than 10 minutes I was out of the terminal. Similar experience at departure. No hassles. Quick immigration and security checks. Airline staff exceedingly solicitous. We used jet bridges for arrival and departure saving us from exposure to the August heat. Without doubt, one of the easiest international airports to use.

The airport looks nice and there is adequate seating arrangements inside.It has also got nice restaurants and eating places.Also there is a pre-paid taxi center inside which has the lowest cab rates in the world.Also a Bus stop is present inside along with a train station.The main problems are the mainteinence of its facilities: for example most of the trolleys are in bad condition and most charging points are non functional.

Good ambience and absolutely neat and clean airport.

The airport is really well maintained, with a lounge providing excellent facilities and comfort. However there is no washrooms in the lounge, you have to exit the lounge for visiting a washroom. This should be improved by the airport authorities of the kolkata airport.

Although located in one of the metro cities of India, this international airport has a lot of catching up to be at par with other international airports. It has just been recently renovated and the new facilities are good if not the best. Once we had to wait overnight here during an international trip. We requested for a room from the airport manager. We were given rooms in the old terminal building. Rooms are old but good enough for an overnight stay. Security personnel are in the building so it's safe even for ladies. Eateries near the entrance gates of the airport are not many in number. Sitting arrangements at the entrance and inside the airport are satisfactory.

As an international airport it definitely serves the purpose! The staff needs to be more helpful though.
The infrastructure has improved lately.

The entrance for domestic and the international terminal are the same for the CCU airport as of Feb 2021. The airport, although is recently renovated and probably redesigned as well, you won't find it very clean and modern, as compared to other new airports in India. Inadequate signs after arrival, the restrooms and facilities looks unclean, worn out, smelly and very old, help desks are scarce.
I felt the international arrival look very depressing. When you enter the "city of joy" as a citizen or a tourist through this airport you see the immigration section is so sad and dim lit. It doesn't give me a vibe of a joyous or a happy entry to the city.

Recently i have seen that there are more stores inside the airport too. Of course those are helpful too to buy some souvenir before flying out.

Less sleeping and reclinable seats, toilets not cleaned, mobile charging stations not working in this so called state of the art "International" airport. Only saving grace is the beautiful interiors. Edited and given one star extra for good maintenance.
