The Kolkata airport was renovated a few years ago and it is much much better than it used to be. However, for an international airporr, it still falls short of other major cities airport in many ways. Entering the airport always take a long time as security needs to check every passenger's boarding pass, and they aren't efficient at all. The washrooms are 'ok', the lounge is 'ok', the immigration and actual security checks are 'ok'. There are so many small and easy things they could do, but don't. Hence, it is not more than a 3 star airport, a shame for such recent facilities.
