Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose international airport is located at dum dum, West Bengal, India. This airport is very popular airport for its ultra modern facility. It's very neat & clean. Behavior of the staff is very polite. It's spread over an area 2460 acres.
The airport lounge is closed at night. Where are the people travelling at night are supposed to Rest. All stalls are close. Even counters. Really pathetic.
The place is neat and clean and the airport authorities take preventive measures for Covid-19.
Very nice airport, spacious with allfacilities. Faster security check at entrance, Luggagae checking. Indigo counters were many for ease of check in. Many shops and restautants in the airport. Road to Airport from the Hotel was wider, thanks to TMC and the dynamic leadership of Madam Mamta.
Beautiful airport, experienced both international and domestic parts. International part is quieter and polished. Domestic part is more busy and found broken charging ports there. Well maintained airport though with good staffs.
This is not how an international airport is supposed to be. The user experience is abysmal. You have to enter the airport through a gate with all your luggage to collect the boarding pass. Then you learn that you have to exit from the same gate and re-enter using another gate to do the baggage checkin and other security procedures. And this is during the COVID-19 times. The place is chaotic, you have to run here and there to understand what is to be done next. There are no proper signs for toilets, the pay and use toilet outside the airport building is third grade with water dripping at all the urinals. The staircase that you take to go down from the departures to the arrivals is extremely narrow. I'm not surprised that this is the best that the city could do. Very average airport by international standards. People, as usual don't understand social distancing even during these COVID-19 times.

Dirtiest airport I have seen. Please look at the seats. My friend from the USA traveling to India looking into my eyes and expressed a shock! Dirty seats. He was standing while two hours. All seats are like that.
At basement you will find luggage deposits rooms as a transit passenger you can drop off your luggage where per bags will cost you 20 Rupies and be careful you should have pad lock on it otherwise they will not receive that.
Ground floor you can find Gust room which serves first come first serve basis, if flight delayed or next connecting flight is long way then take a shower and sleep !!! To have it called Airport manager.
There is no toilet facility at domestic departure area !!!! So you need to go down ground floor and opposite gate 3 there is a paid public toilet where there is no soap or toilet towel. Some food shops around the airport and city center is within 15 mins walking distance if you need to buy SIM card.
There is no SIM card shop inside of outside airport !!!!
One of the busiest airports in India...nice and clean washrooms... they make sure your long time waiting hours are safe and comfortable...many food counters and shopping counters are there....no one can feel bore here..
Airport was good but staff members who work in toilet and cleaning process are very rude ..they behave rudely with the passenger who came there to use that washroom.. The washroom which come inside gate no.20 and gate no.21 aunty work there she is so rude .. Pls airport authority give some training to your employees that they know how to talk with your passenger.... I genuinely feel its not the way to behave with passenger...

Home airport always holds a special place in your heart. No, its nothing compared to the world famous Delhi T3 but it's an airport which is emotionally effective for me. I do not care about it's infrastructure and all. What I know, landing here makes me happy and departing from here makes me sad!

Good n supporting behaviour of the staff. It is being disinfected timely. But no such measure for passengers hand sanitization. However bags are sanitized. Spice jet staff are little bit indifferent to passengers. They should be more supportive as passengers are new in this situation.

Inside the airport there are vast seating lounges and there are many shops starting from eateries, desserts, clothing and accessories, books and magazines to souvenirs and lot more.

Pathetic Airport compared to other major Indian airports. They have used a faulty 4 wheel design trolleys , many of which make noise and wobble . The bathrooms are very smelly. Maintenance work happens even as passengers are using gate for boarding. One airline has blocked the TV screen at one gate with their long boards of zone information. Only one private company as money exchange. They are a rip off. Food options are decent. One bar is available , some good shopping options and duty free is OK. PNB ATM touch screen is faulty.

The staff was very cooperative and supportive. My 3 stars are for the staff of airport and their positive response. Arrivals has constraint of space. The thing what I didn't like is , there's only one toilet at arrivals, so if you hold back in the aircraft for want of hygienic toilet then don't. It's possible that you will have to wait for more than 1/2 an hour in que.

This airport is usually crowded. 1st thing to do after enterin airport is to get ur luggages scanned and then proceed to check in counter. This has to be done without fail. Nicely renovated and well maintained. Provision of smoking zone is also there.
The best thing is that outside the airport view of Our Tiranga... I love to see that ..
