Almost every minute flight are takeoff and landing. Terminal is huge in size and well decorated. Huge size terminal converted the people in different check in point from A to H and also four security check in. Gate are also 23+. After security check in, their is a big market which provide all kind of products.

This is one of the busiest airport in India. International standards airport, all basic facilities available. Everything like shopping areas, Gate numbers, Restroom etc are well mentioned with detail sign boards. Perfectly decorated and one of the cleanest airport of India.nWell connected with all types of transportation mode, soon metro construction will complete. Which will add another star to its rank.

It's good and being an international airport, maintains the standards and protocols. However, because of the high passenger concentration the check in time and boarding times are quite long. Overall, it's among one of the biggest and largest airports of India.

Travel Food Service needs improvement, payments methods (card) need to be improved.

The airport is quite disappointing given that kolkatta is a metro city. No major shops or food/coffee places. Having said that, it does have all the necessary facilities and helpful staff. For an international airport it is very slow and not very sophisticated.

Excellent. Noticed addition of a recent gallery on Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. Really a great addition; quite aesthetic and adds value to this important, busy International Airport named after another Great Son of India, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

Airport is good as well as the support staff.
But custom staff are not same.

Outside at arrival, you can feel like local vegetable market. Taxi driver and some people for exchange money, they are asking repeatively and following you untill you leave the arena.

Very well designed, simple and convenient for passenger. Domestic and international department counters are available separately but in same floor. I do love the design of Kolkata airport terminal.

Ok..Airport got more rewards.but not arrangement 4 handicapped passengers.iam the victim of this matter.my very old partents not walk airport glass floor. I asked free transport electrical cab.this r running inside of counters..but sadly told me as per the protocol. High court judge r booked.not 4u like citizens..this insident happened in Saturday morning 5.am near E.counter..what hell.r doing here.not value of Sr.citizens

It's a good airport, maintained very neat and clean. There are lot of shops available for purchase and to eat.

One of best Airports in country with all modern facilities.

It is 17km from Howrah Railway Station through Kakunrgachi and Dum Dum Park which took around 40 minutes time during late night or early morning. 16.5km from Howrah Railway Station via Dum Dum Road (Babughat) which took around 47 minutes during late night and early morning. However, suggested to travel during day or evening time through NH 6 and Belghoria Express Way, which is almost 22km from Howrah Railway Station. This road is safe for maintaining punctuality in reaching the Air Port. It is almost 15km from Sealdah Railway Station, which took 34 minutes to reach. Management of this Airport is very nice and disciplined. Staff are very friendly in behavior.

Clean and tidy at first glance , Very polite police official at the entrance and helpful which I saw during my entry.also inside the airport there is ATM SBI and Union bank .

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport was earlier known as Kolkata Airport or Dumdum Airport . It is located in almost outer of the kolkata city. Taxi is available from Howrah or Sealdah and other parts of city. Big and well maintained airport. Around 25 terminals are there. Very beautiful interior . Airport code is CCU.

This International airport in Kolkata provides all the required facilities and comforts as per International standard. The airport staff are very helpful. There are different options on shopping, eateries and takeaway. In this pandemic situation precautions taken care very efficiently.

Amazingly Slow Security.. It takes Ages to pass Security. Not very well directed. It's tough to find things.... Needs a lot of improvement and Staff needs to be taught how to be courteous.

The airport is good but the washrooms cud be maintained a bit more neatly.

Beautifully decorated airport with lots of facilities inside the building.. Upgraded technology allows travellers to have full information and good time. Some good shopping options and cafeterias with a beverage counter makes it a nice place to be in while traveling.

Well, I have been to this place quite a few times. No complaints but, I want to address 1 thing that made me review 1 less star. I visited this place during 18th March 2020 (Corona period), what I felt was negligency on checking of corona positives, which sounds irrelevant here I know, but it's a thing, and yes the authorities should have ensured proper checking. Otherwise very well maintained airport, infact one of the best in the nation. Hopefully my review reach take eyes of responsible authority. Kudos.

Nice and clean airport, Kokata airport is the hub for east zone.

The worst airport you will find in the entire nation. People spit all over the place. Mosquitoes will bite you everywhere once you enter the airport. Toilets run out of tissue papers, never to be refilled. The staff is not courteous. Flights get delayed because of confusion of the ground staff. I had heard Calcutta is not always clean and now I do not doubt the people who say so.

The best airport I have ever seen. Very well maintained, nice and clean. Every facilities available in there. Every staffs are cooperative and helping.

Being a Metro city I expected that the airport will be similar to that of Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore airport standards. But honestly, it's not. Though the staff here is probably one of the best staff I have seen across in any other airport. They are very helpful and treat you well. So the major credit for this 4 star rating is towards the wonderful staff.

Definitely not the best Airport in the country nor the worst either.... Staffs are very slow... A little gloomy... If u need to board you have to come a lot earlier because of it's lethargic and slow working staffs.... Overall nice and tidy... Passenger friendly.... You won't get lost... Sufficiently lit with a lot of seating space...

Its clean but a complete disappointment. For a new airport it has negligible facilities and which should have been set up when the airport was opened.

It is one of the best airport located in West Bengal, This location of the nearby is also good because it have all kinds of availablity for the people, Airport design and maintenance is also looking good and has a very good management in the pandemic situation, Focusing on sanitisation and social distances are also looking good, There two blocks for entering in the departure, i) Domestic departure ii) International departure . So you don't need to worry all this, If you're in the main city of Kolkata like Esplanade, park Circus, park Street then you don't have to worry about vehicles because every time you will get vehicles. If you are on railway station then it is also easy to reach airport because of railway station have 24/7 cab services available, If you are coming or going to Kolkata you should must visit the iconic places in Kolkata like Victoria Memorial, Indian Musiam, Science City, Alipore Zoological garden and mostly NICCO PARK & AQUA TICA, And Hoogly tiver, But when pandemic will finally and properly end. It is the largest airport of east India. The new integrated terminal looks glamourous and magnificent. But the sad part is, it lacks direct connectivity outside Asia.
