Don t know where to start. There was a time when there are lot of international flights used to operate. I still remember the day when I have boarded the last direct flight to Frankfurt. It was maybe 10 years back then. Slowly lack of passenger and due to infrastructure international flights became very less. But then the new terminal is inaugurated and it is made in proper international structure like handling more number of flights and passengers. International terminal can be improved. There are proper navigation system and lots of restaurants from where you can have dining.
Overall it s the airport of city of joy. So I hope this information can be helpful to other travellers. Till then take care and have a safe journey. See you again.

Very bad no Improvements. All through the year they are unable to manage lugguage . It takes 1 hours plus to get your lugguage

In recent times, this airport has made tremendous improvements. It's a major hub especially in bringing the NE Indian cities and towns closer to international destinations. It's neat and tidy, perhaps there is room for greater international connectivity. Limited duration free WiFi is available. Personnel are helpful.

Awesome airport in terms of cleaniliness and design and decor....the place have both domestic and international airports and terminals...waiting area is big and good to spend some time while waiting for flights!!

Total neat and clean, the problem they are charging money for vehicle entry as far as I know in other airports entry is free for first 10 minutes.

I guess it's the only airport present in Kolkata but it's quite one of the truly magnificent airports in India. The airport has been well built keeping in mind the safety, and punctuality of the travellers. There is greenery inside and few artworks to keep us interested. Waiting lounge is clean, tidy.

Good airport. Very clean as well as as. The duity police are really gentle and helpful for any information.

Its huge inside artitecture is impressive. Service is good. But food is to expensive and much chipper on out side.

I've had a very bad experience on that airport.the washroom lady near check in point were so rude at us.my mom went for waduh to pray salah.they restricted her by saying that she littering water on the floor, even though they dont have any right to tell us like that.shame shame

A beautiful airport. Not too big. Distinguished arrival and departure facilities. Availability of prepaid cabs for commutes to the city. Clean and well maintained toilets.

One of the best airports in India. Very beautifully imagined and thoughtful construction. The whole airport is very lively with 24/7 shops inside. The maintenance is impeccable. There is less hassle in the check-ins and finding the gates. Though being a large airport one needs to walk a lot sometimes.

A domestic lounge without a restroom. For baggage, you need to wait atleast 30 mins. Rude behaviour from most of the airport staff. No smoking zone. Is this an airport in a metro city???

Well managed and clean Airport including washrooms. Found security a bit rude.

The worst airport compared to Bangalore, mumbai, delhi and Hyderabad. No clean washrooms and no protocols regulations followed.

Though not very big, yet one the most modern and structured airports in the world. All the areas are clearly marked. Inside area is clean, with free drinking water. One can always place a quarry to the airport officials.

Except for the washrooms rest are pretty are pretty clean. Of course the washrooms would remind you of ones you would see in Bihar train stations . Even the staffs are characteristic example of rude and last, perfect culture that has been killing Bengal. These guys epitomize the same.

Came to terminal 2 after some time.
Still well maintained with artfully crafted walls.
Most shops still closed but overall a very good experience as the crowd was practically non existent.

One can see that the government spent a lot of money on building the new terminal. Unfortunately, no money was left over to hire proper managers: its processes are inefficient, causing long queues when absolutely unnecessary.

Nice airport, need some development in parking space

Airport looks very good,neat and clean.Staff is helpful here but security clearance is not fast here.

All precautions taken. Individuals do disrupt social distancing at times, but again authorities try to get things in line. I would say it is working pretty well due to the lowered traffic due to flight restrictions.

Pathetic... In cargo department 90% are without face mask... After asking for wearing mask one guy is taunting me... Thats why we are in this phase.... Airport authority must take a crucial step in it

I really loved to travel to this airport as this airport attracted me in such a way that I always wish to fly through this airport. This airport not only function well with wonder staff but also have all the ultra modern facilities.

It s a magnificent airport and the same is very well managed. The cleanliness and hygiene of the place is up to the mark. There ample seating space. Numerous eating joints and outlets are there. I would recommend to book cab outside the airport premises as there is so much rush inside the airport due to which it becomes very difficult to identify the the cab so booked

A well facilitated international airport in the West Bengal. Though it is located a far away from main Kolkata city but it is good.

Cool and very calm environment inside the airport. The design and architecture of the airport complex is excellent. I never have any bore feeling staying at this airport even when I needed to wait for quite a long for my flight.

This Airport is recently developed and upgraded to make it at par with International Airport standards. You have very limited options for food and drinks. One good thing here is you have Retiring rooms the way you get in Railway at affordable price which you can try.

No social distancing ...airport ppl re not taking care neither theb airlines ppl ....

Washrooms need to be cleaned. Need proper solution for the mosquito issue in belt & waiting area. Operation waise okay & interior looks good.

We had a International departure and amenities like food and drinks is very scarce. One small sit down restaurant, ABC Bar and another called Flying Bites which had some Indian style sandwiches and snacks. Menu at ABC is small with basic Indian fare. Their was good and pricing fair for a airport. They had a wide variety of alcohols and draught beer and the choice of coke or water.

Its the first airport I have visited in my life and I loved it very much. The airport terminal are not usually crowded as there are not very frequent International flights. Also the seating and waiting areas are designated and well maintained, cleaned regularly. Many type of shops are present offering wide range of food items and other items like souvenir and stuff. Overall the airport is very good, neat and clean and well maintained with helpful staffs and appreciable service.

Very well maintained. Easiest gateway to eastern india. And the airport was very clean also.

The long overdue modernization (several years ago, may I add) makes for a less stressful transit at CCU/VECC. The international arrivals area is staffed adequately but the carts are stationed at distances away from the conveyor designated for one's flight (Murphys law?) so be careful of the typical behavior when your unattended cart is "hijacked." The domestic arrivals (and departures) areas are already exceeding capacity and the restrooms are a constant reminder that despite availability of labor, providing gainful employment is a budgetary option of the local authorities.

I have done planespotting here before the second runway was built and the perimeter road blocked. I traveled in DC-3 aircraft here from the now demolished terminal building as well as the freight hangers (vintage design) when the first Comet landed. Know a little bit of history about the place!

One of the best Airport in India.Domestic and International Terminal available here.The airpot is totally neat and clean in outside and Inside. In a word Cleanest airport in India. Outside the airport, slightly under down there are many food stall, just visit those.

It's a very organized airport with great arcitechture. I love the roof with the letters. Although the airport doesn't have much shops and retail, I'm sure it will expand in time, as it is a new airport. So much connectivity, metro suburban railway, ac bus, etc..amazingly! Not many airlines tho!

People should come with sanitizer.. As you won't find any sanitizer machine around..

Good layout and clean airport. Lot of room for passengers to move around. It's not a cramped place.

Airport is equipped with huge parking space, public amenities and Mis Handled Bag delivery agent like Jubilant Incorporation

They don't have any internal transfer facilities. If u chose connecting flight via ccu. Then u r a fool .. u uv to follow that 2 hour before jouring .. really disappointed with service
