Both food and drinks were fabulous! Unique menu selection... if you are looking for the classic brunch spot I would not recommend, but if you're looking for a new brunch experience, try this place out!
Good food very unique on some of the items service is nice and the place is nice
Second floor to wait, complimentary water but you can order drinks up there. Cute place, good service.
Fantastic brunch! Really unique menu (plantains + rice & beans + eggs, PB&J French toast) and great drinks (Spotted Cow beer-mimosa, lattes with fun syrups, etc) and a cool historical space. Highly recommended.
Best breakfast potatoes I've ever had. They're smoked and fried so they're a little crispy
Cappuccino French toast was really good. The amaretto whip was the best!!!!
Stupendous food. Stupendous atmosphere. Great service.
The menu is diverse and locally sourced. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable, I was shocked at the wonderful service and taste of the food. Great Bloody Marys!!
Unique and delicious. Locally sourced Loved the environment, the food, and the service.
The food and drinks were fantastic but our server Emily took the cake! Excellent customer service on every level - she even ran outside to catch me with my box of leftovers after I forgot it on the table.
Great place for gatherings. I attended a fantastic wedding here!
Very popular. Great food and cocktail. Usually busy. Reservations recommended. Not a quiet place but bustling with high energy. Fun!1
Have been here twice and really loved it both times. Delicious, local, and unique brunch selections and really knowledgeable servers that help with menu selections. Looking forward to going back next time I'm in MKE
This is my new favorite spot for brunch in Milwaukee. The menu has a ton of variety and everything we had was delicious. The goat cheese curds were amazing. It s tapas style, with relatively large tapas plates. Expect to order about 1.5 dishes per person. After tip, expect to spend about $25-35 each. They have outdoor dining on the patio. Staff seemed to take COVID-19 precautions seriously. Overall, an awesome experience!
Great place for breakfast. Awesome staff in an old fire station.
Absolutely fantastic place for brunch. Great food and service.
The food was very good. It is a great place to try different dishes. The ingredients are fresh and the staff is very friendly.
We ordered a bloody mary, coffees, and brunch. Everything was fantastic! We would definitely go back.
Went for weekday breakfast. The menu is unique, affordable priced ($10-15), and has vegan and vegetarian options. Everyone enjoyed the food. Service was snappy.
We'd never been before but were delighted with the unique breakfast/brunch choices. Must-return!!
Always a great experience, from the drinks, the food (SMOKED PORK EGGS BENEDICT) and to the beautiful themed restaurant. Great selection on the menus for lunch or brunch. Babs will always put a smile and your face. Emily's energy is contagious. All the staff does a wonderful job making sure that you have a pleasant and enjoyable time.
Excellent food and service. Not really sure what was on the special meat omelette but it was to die for. Will come back!
Food was great , service was awsome. Nice clean and tidy place.
Reliable destination for a tasty meal with an eclectic menu, historic building lends added charm
They have something special going on at kitchen where are the executive chef is an engine company 3 and a la merenda is a true genius
Excellent brunch spot. Be sure to try the baby red potatoes, they are smoked and absolutely delicious
Interesting items on menu, beignets, so good! The veg crepes, wow!!!
Great place for breakfast. They have the regulars but at the same time exotics.
Amazing food and amazing staff. I am also planning my wedding here and so far it looks like it will be amazing. If you plan to have a wedding look here. Kristen has been very helpful in figuring out the best plans to work with what types of food, and drink menu, and that I can get valet and my cake made there. I don't think any guest could complain about the fresh food they will be getting, and the venue is unique and changes up the normal wedding routine. Sorry photo is upside down.
Great ambiance with unique dishes that are outside the normal fare of Milwaukee. Locally sourced with the sourcing farms listed on the menu. The server said that the pulled pork Benedict was life changing... She was right! looking forward to go back and try more!
One of my favorite brunch menus in town. Haven't had a thing that I didn't love. DO IT.
Amazing food! Great gluten free and vegetarian options.
So delicious. I was full the whole day. Stick a pin in me. I'm still full. Please, pull the pin out.
I never take photos of food but this was so amazing I broke a rule here. HIGHLY HIGHLY SUGGESTION FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GREAT MEAL!! I never type in all caps either. Breaking all the rules for this place :).
Great menu. Reasonable prices. Historic Milwaukee building.
I REALLY enjoyed my breakfast at Engine Company No. 3. We had made reservations for brunch in advanced (I recommend doing this on weekends) and brought an out of town guest. She was equally as impressed with her meal as well. I had the french toast and it was definitely one of the best french toasts I've had in the city and would highly recommend that as an option to others. The coffee was also very good and was a strong coffee (nothing worse than a weak coffee). Service was on point, attentive, and professional. Our waitress had good command of the menu and made a number of great recommendations. I can't wait to come back to this unique location in the future.
Such a great spot with such great food. Fantastic job remodeling and preserving old fire station
Great variety of food, very fun and diverse menu. I try a new item each time. Only issue I have is that the tables in the back of the restaurant get a little cold during the winter time, so would rank 4.5 Stars.
Food is creative and delicious. Staff helpful and knowledgeable. Great interior design, photographs.
Delicious food and amazing service. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and personable, food was out of this world. Great!
Great service, incredibly tasty breakfast. Can't wait to come back. A Great find!
By far the best tasting brunch in Milw, including my favorite Bloody Mary around. Even better that Engine Company No 3 is committed to locally sourced food, and the quality is obvious. Highly recommend!!
Great breakfast old rustic firehouse feel and decor
Was in town for a conference and stopped in for Bloody Marys and breakfast. The bloodys are GREAT and they are STRAW FREE! Breakfast is not just a simple eggs and toast they offer many different things for breakfast that are well worth trying. I personally had Brioche French toast, and it was incredible. I can t wait to stop back here again when I am in town. I love the fire/firehouse/firefighter theme!
Fantastic find! Beautiful patio and excellent food. Will definitely be back soon!!!
Service , food was awesome . a lot to look at in this old firehouse . I will be back again
Food is always amazing and the atmosphere is very cool. The building itself is charming and the inside is set up with lots of booths and there is also an upstairs. The only issue is that if you want brunch, unless you called ahead, be prepared to wait. For a while. But that's not Engine Co #3's fault, just goes to show that is a spectacular brunch spot
Small collection of great brunch items. Good atmosphere, food, coffee, and prices. A great Benny!
Great breakfast. Smoked salmon Benedict was very tasty. We had to wait about 40 minutes but they had board and card games to keep everyone entertained.
Amazing breakfast and brunch spot with a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.
The elegant and pristine palace the is the Engine Company Number three is poetic in the way of food. The atmosphere is a certain je ne sais quoi if a may be so bold. Hmmm. Which I may!! If you have yet to go treat yourself, just tell them Dan sent you. It will do nothing for you but it sounds cool to act like you know someone working there.
Everything is always amazing here, especially the house smoked baby red potatoes.
Amazing place, above and beyond service and the food was on point. 5 out of 5 and highly recommend the Urtain breakfast.
Amazing brunch with options from all over the globe. Definitely something here for everyone.
So many breakfast menu items we wanted to try. Great service and environment. Highly recommend this as a brunch spot while hitting up MKE
My husband and I had our (COVID) wedding at Engine Company No.3 on 8/1/2020, and it was perfect! I would highly recommend Amanda and her team for any type of event/dinner. The food was amazing, we got compliments from all our guests. Everything was so great even though we put together our wedding relatively last minute. Thank you so much!
Great food. Quick service and all around cool place to eat
Great spot for an amazing brunch in an awesome setting. The menu was so filled with delicious sounding choices that I had difficulty choosing! I will definitely be back!
This place is so cozy inside and the food was fantastic. Our server was so pleasant and explained all of the fancy food words to us before we ordered. I got the spaghetti squash and the portion was a little smaller than I m used to at other brunch places, but other dishes seemed to have bigger portions.
One of my favorite brunch locations in all of Milwaukee.
Creative menu options (food and cocktails). A very tasty option for brunch and lunch! Will definitely be back.
What a fantastic place for breakfast, brunch or lunch (they close at 2pm every day and closed all day on Mondays). This old fire station has the charm and tasteful decorations that makes it truly unique. Our group of four made reservations and the main floor was full of customers by the time we were eating. We did not venture up stairs but next time I think I will take a peek even though I did not see a fireman's pole anywhere. The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. We ordered blueberry pancakes as an appetizer and they were delicious as was the Shepard's Pie. Street parking was plentiful when we arrived for our 11:30 am reservation. We will definitely visit again.
this place gets 5 stars in every category.. excellent restaurant... a must.
Milwaukee has a lot of great brunch places, but this is one of my absolute favorites. Whether you are looking for classic brunch/breakfast items or something unique, Engine Company No. 3 will satisfy with hearty dishes from around the globe. The quality is top notch and the location is great for group outings or more intimate meals. Love it!
Great farm to table restaurant in a fun environment
Always great local food at great prices. Really nice ambience
Delicious meal. Great staff. Very courteous and attentive. Odd menu if you're just used to standard meals, but the flavor combinations were great. Been there 4 times. Will do again.
