I am having my wedding on January 7th 2017. I have all my out-of-town guests stay here. I just found out they do not come through room for the bride and groom even though we have over 20 rooms booked because of our wedding here. This is the worst customer service ever

While the public spaces were fairly nice the housekeeping could definitely use some improvement. I had a nice balcony but everything was dusty and there was what appeared to be blood on the comforter and drapes.... I was there for a few days for a confrence so I ate all my meals there. Meals were decent and the bowling alley was fun. Clean up the rooms and I would have been very satisfied with my stay.
Checks all the boxes. Rooms were great, parking, breakfast, bar, clean lobby. It's a cheap Uber away from downtown Decatur or five points. We had a great stay!
It was alright. Staff was friendly, bar was nice, and indoor pool and hot tub was nice.I don't feel like the room was worth the cost. Couldn't get the room cold enough, bathroom was incredibly tiny, the phone in my room didn't work well, and there was this loud clicking that would wake us up every morning.
Checked into hotel at 4:45 on a Sunday afternoon. Went to dinner and then came back at about 7 and went to my room to find that it was not cleaned (first 6 pictures). Went at told front desk who said that the room was marked cleaned and would switch my room. NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR THE MIX UP OR FOR MY INCONVENIENCE. Put me in another room on the other side of the property. This room was clean but still dirty (last 4 pictures) Some unknown gunk on the wall, visible stains on the curtains and a coffee stirrer in the middle of the floor. Hotel is booked and no other rooms are available.
Due to lack of cleanliness and customer service I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND the Emory Conference Center Hotel!!
I stayed at the hotel for a conference at Emory, the stay was very pleasant, the staff was super-nice and tended to my every request (they even opened the gift store after hours when I needed to buy something).
The room was clean and tidy with free wireless access and a very comfortable bed.
Overall, I will very likely go there again next time I am at Emory
Great place for a group function. Enjoyed the bowling and swimming in the indoor pool. Staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. Food provided was good and fresh. The outside gardens were perfect for gathering for music and dancing.
Room was mostly clean, except for the suspicious stain on the duvet. No minifridge in room. Pool was nice, but the hot tub water looked really dirty. Otherwise, our stay was very pleasant. The property was very beautiful. I wish we had a chance to take advantage of the free bicycle rental!
I came here to attend a conference for work for several days, but I came early to visit family in the area. My company paid for my stay for the duration of the conference, but I had to pay for the night I came early, so I picked a cheaper room for that night- $179. The room I stayed in during the conference was normally priced $300 per night (depending on which day of the week) but I got a discounted rate for being part of the conference at $150 per night. My $179 room was pretty much identical to the $300 room. The $179 room did not have a working phone charger, so I guess you have to pay extra for that. My $300 room has a balcony, but not only is it not a very nice balcony, you can t open the door to get to the balcony. Don t ever pay $300 for the balcony, it s not worth it (other than you can charge your phone). My $300 room smelled soggy and gross for the duration of my stay. The shower head is awful. Despite the $300 cost of the room, breakfast is NOT included with your stay. I was in classes until 5 pm, and when I returned to my room it had still not been cleaned. The food is subpar. I ve stayed in nicer hotels for less money, don t pick this place.
Great place to hold a conference! The facilities are all contained and include wooded areas, a bowling alley, a pool and fitness center, several restaurants and a bar and lots of meeting space. The hotel has nice rooms with comfortable furnishings and all of it makes for a great location. Even better, the shops and restaurants at Emory Point are within walking distance and give you other choices for eat, drink and be merry!
Beautiful facilities with impeccable service. Stayed for only one night but I would not hesitate to stay here again for an extended period! Such a beautiful area too. Definitely recommending it to family and friends.
The rooms and elevators in the south wing are fabulous. The east wing elevators are just plain scary- rickety rackety and mysteriously opening at the 2nd floor every single time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast options.
As an event planner, I would absolutely recommend this hotel both for sleeping rooms and event space. The ballroom is gorgeous and spacious and a great canvas to transform into a beautiful space! The hotel staff was also very courteous and the shuttle is great for going to local stores and restaurants and is free!
This is not the poshest hotel you'll ever stay in, but over the course of nearly two decades I have periodically stayed in this hotel, and I have always found the staff to be impeccably hospitable and professional. The facilities are spacious and pleasant, and the breakfast buffet is wide ranging and delicious. The location is terrific if you have business at the CDC or Emory University. An on-call shuttle will take you where you wish to go within a certain radius. On this last visit, I enjoyed the new shopping center nearby, with lots of dining options. Gorgeous wooded grounds. Quiet.
Rooms are clean, well appointed, friendly staff to assist you with any requests. The hotel sits in a beautiful wooded area, with upscale restaurants as well as Emory University just a short walking distance away. Hotel is quiet, with large selection of dining options including a great buffet breakfast.
I recently stayed at the Emory Conference Center Hotel for the first time. It will definitely be my go-to place when I come to Atlanta again. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, especially the lobby, but it is the people who work there who make the difference. The people at the front desk were accommodating and knowledgeable. A gentleman at the front door was so gracious helping me into a taxi. The room was comfortable and clean, and I appreciated the free WiFi.
Gorgeous venue! Floor to ceiling windows, exposed stone, beautiful outdoor areas, fireplaces, walking trails, fire pits, lots of secluded little areas to sit outside and enjoy the scenery of the wooded reserve the property sits on. The food was great, rooms were great, staff was nice. Conveniently located within walking distance to a CVS and a few great restaurants! Truly a lovely experience.
The staff at the hotel are so kind, patient and attentive! They are happy to help with any and all questions and it made the event even more enjoyable!
It is a very comfortable, clean, convenient hotel located by Emory Univ. campus. The people who work at the hotel succeed at being accommodating. The gentlemen at the desk who greets you has the most welcoming smile and demeanor; you can't help but like him. He certainly has the Southern hospitality vibe. They have a serviceable restaurant with friendly staff. I have gone to this hotel several times and it is consistent. I had to be there for an extended time during one visit to care for my sick son and they were sympathetic and did everything they could to be helpful. It is not fancy, but that's not what this hotel is selling. I will keep going back when I visit my son at Emory
Emory Conference Center and Hotel is an excellent place to stay when in Atlanta, Georgia. The rooms are immaculate. There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel, a swimming pool, bowling alley, and pool tables in the lobby. I stayed at this hotel for three days and enjoyed my stay immensely!
Lovely hotel, with scenic grounds. Staff very friendly. Particularly liked the classy firepit area outside of the bar. A great place to socialize with others at the conference.
I had a very nice experience. I could not have asked for better. Everyone that we came in contact with was extremely accommodating, eager to please and very professional. I would rate this hotel as one of the best. The personal attention is great. The room was attractive and clean. The food was delicious and enough for an army. I will always go back to this hotel in the future if I need a place to stay. Thank you, Mary E. Nicole Williams
We have stayed here multiple times while visiting family who live near Emory. At Thanksgiving it was fairly busy; staying between Christmas and New Year's it was virtually empty. My kids enjoy the pool and it is a good location. There is a newish mall with restaurants next door, which means there are places to eat or buy light groceries...
Not the average "run of the mill" hotel in Atlanta. It's very tucked away setting is park like and immediately relaxing. The staff couldn't be more welcoming and our rooms were very well cared for. We'll definitely be back!
Very nice and professional place but be expect that and nothing less service could be better but I guess I'm just picking at straws here over all a good experience having an event here
Great hotel. A short car ride from downtown nestled in a quiet area. Shops and restaurants out front as well as a small organic grocery store. I'd stay here again but next time will request a higher level room (I was situated above the ballrooms during the holdiay corporate party season). The bass could be faintly heard but was off by 10pm so I don't really have a huge complaint there. Just a little annoying.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and modern. The staff was friendly and the location is right near several restaurants and shops. I will stay here again in the future.
Attended a Day meeting here. Decided to eat lunch in the dining hall instead of adding lunch to the package. The Carnivore flat bread was good but just wish the menu had a bigger selection. Overall, conference center is nice. Perfect for our needs!
Gorgeous building, courteous staff. The dining experience was so-so, and I found several items on the restaurant and room service menus marked "vegan" that obviously weren't (one contained bacon!). The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, with lovely nature views and gigantic windows. The pool area was clean and well-stocked. I would be pleased to stay again!
Stayed for one week last winter for a work training. The staff were friendly. The hotel was well decorated and it seemed like the rooms should cost a lot more per night considering how nice the hotel was. I stayed in a room overlooking some trees that had a floor to ceiling window. We had to eat lunch everyday in their buffet like restaurant. The deserts were pretty. I was not impressed with the food in general. I checked out their small restaurant one night for dinner and was not pleased. They have a menu that is like a mini room service menu. There was no option for just a normal burger and fries. Extremely limited in their alcohol selection and what they would make. Many of us did not like the food. So I ordederd room service most nights for supper. The food was ok, much bigger selection then the restaurant. The only other negative thing is that there were no microwaves in the room. I loved the safe in the room.
Concierge Mr Watson was excellent. Alot of loitering of workers in hallways of rooms. The server in the dining room did not explain the menu or buffet options and wasn't very helpful. The grounds were gorgeous.
The Emeory conference center was a nicely designed and spacious conference center and hotel. Everyone that helped us was extremely nice. I really liked the pool tables they had in the main part of the center as well as the huge fireplace where we were able to congregate around and talk with family. It would've been nice if their coffee shop was up and running but that was about it. Overall, it was a short but lovely stay.
Beautiful hotel and lobby area. I needed to spend a couple hours before a scheduled meeting at Emory University so I stopped in to the hotel and used their WiFi in the lobby area. Very friendly staff and clean hotel lobby. I will stay at this hotel when I m back in ATL later on this year!
