It's what you would expect from an old hotel. No bells and whistles, just straight up accommodations. You actually get more than what you pay for. The room is clean, staff is friendly.

The check in was very nice. Both people were very friendly.
After paying $20.00 a day for their breakfast he gave us cards that said Breakfast on us. Really not true, our credit card tells the true story and the "free onsite parking" was another $20.00 a day.
If I had known this prior to checking in I would not be so happy with my husband.
It's out last vacation with our 2 youngest daughters before going to college next year, so we're supposed to be having fun on this trip.
Got to our room and the room was bigger than expected. It was clean as far as our 2 towells 2 washcloths and bedding. It's very outdated a smells really bad all the walls very dirty.
The bathroom was very tiny and the fan didn't work, it took 5 calls and 3 trips from the service guy came up and it was blowing very lightly hardly any air blowing though. I hope this gets better we've only been here 3 hours and can now use the bathroom but no hot water and they charge for more towells and wash clothes

How would you like to live in a construction zone while on vacation? How about after a day's sightseeing, getting back to the hotel to find a note left under the door that water has been shut off from 9p to 5a?!
Worst hotel experience.

The room we had was clean and everyone who worked there that we met was super nice, but the windows only had sheer curtains making it impossible for us to sleep once the sun was up.

We very much enjoyed our suite at the hotel. The rooms were nicer than I expected and very spacious. When checking in the service was friendly. However, despite requesting when booking and ALSO following up with the hotel earlier in the day on check-in, we never received a crib for my daughter. We had to call the front desk FIVE times to check the status of the cribs arrival, as it was much after my 19mo Olds bed time. Everyone they said "it is on the way". Was it??? Finally it arrived and the front desk woman apologized and said she would send us a complimentary fruit plate for breakfast. I told her it had to arrive before 8am when we were leaving. She scheduled it for 7:30. When it turned 8am I told them to forget about it. I really don't know what is up with the service and communication. This is our first time staying at Holiday Inn, and although I liked the hotel, I don't think the service compares to comparable chains.

The hotel is located near downtown. You can take a five minute walk to Space Needle, where you can take the monorail to the Pike Place Market. The room is great and the staff is very nice. The breakfast was a bit expensive, so we ate at Emerald Grill next door.

Room was clean, a bit run down but clean. Staff were friendly. Is it a 4 star hotel, no, but I'd give it 4 stars for what I paid for it. Relative to other budget hotels in the downtown core, the price was good and the experience has been fine enough. A bit hard to get to with current construction, but manageable. Continental breakfast had more on offer than I expected. Great spot in heart of downtown. Walking distance to the big attractions. Would stay here again. Here for work, good base of operations to get to the places I need to on foot. Lots of great restaurants nearby.

As downtown Seattle hotels go and for the price point, it definitely is a good plan B spot. We stayed here last minute for New Year's Eve and weren't surprised by the limited accommodations.

If you don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room, this place works great. Not a lot to offer in the ways of views as it is smack dab in the middle of some taller buildings. Staff is good, had a couple of hiccups with mixed messaging that almost resulted in some guest cars being towed but other than that, not an issue.

Room service was quick and easy - not the cheapest but definitely better than nothing.

Parking was a little difficult. Hard to get in and get out. The room was beautiful (suite upgrade) but sort of unnecessary since it was basically a conference space. Service was very friendly and effective. Close to pike place and a great place to stay!

hotel stay was ok. but no free parking, no breakfast, no pool. however holiday inn express across the street has pool and free breakfast. they should have pools and free breakfast for both!

I had an amazing stay here while I was in Seattle for business! You do have to check in before you park, which is a little inconvenient, but understandable considering the area of town. All of the employees were incredibly helpful, and I got a free voucher for the restaurant next door which was phenomenal. Next time I'm in Seattle, I will definitely look to stay here again.

Holiday Inn Seattle downtown was a good hotel. There was construction all around the area but of course that is not their fault. It was easy to get in and out of downtown Seattle and we found the lobby and the other areas of the hotel very clean.

Very well located for getting anywhere in Seattle. Holiday Inn Seattle Downtown is located just a block off of "Old 99", parallel to Seattle Center and North of the downtown core. Because of this, you can get to just about anything in Seattle very easily.

There is a Whole Foods & Walgreens, many restaurants of every price in walking distance and a small park across the street.

Rooms manage to be quiet though this is a very busy area, people and traffic wise. They are simply furnished and not really big enough for rollaways. One nice thing: mini kitchen-type set up with a counter, kitchen faucet, microwave and mini fridge. No eating area in our room though. I'd check the suite layout if you want that.

The Holiday Inn in downtown Seattle is a good place to stay with easy access to everything downtown. The only issues I had with my stay would be the parking being a bit confusing and the room being poorly lit. However, almost no hotel room seems to have proper overhead lighting. Wish this would change!

Good Hotel. Short walk to some good South Lake restaurants on Harrison. Close to Space needle but you have to walk a few blocks south and then back north due to highway. Also, there is a Holiday Inn Express back to back with this hotel which could be confusing when you show up. Underground parking is available. Spots are small and turns going down are tight. It's nice to not have car on street though.

I had to go out to Seattle on business for 2 full weeks being 14 days. Being as my companies parent company is Amazon, The hotel offered free parking for the rental car and free breakfast for each day of stay at the Emerald Grill which is owned and operated by Holiday Inn and is next door to the Hotel.

The Room I stayed in was pretty nice and very spacious, The room was stocked with bath and body works products which is far better than some hotels products. The staff were all very friendly, There was some difficulties in getting my stay arranged but it turns out this was on the travel group we used, not the hotel itself. The staff worked with me on getting those early issues resolved and I had a very pleasant stay and was always greeted with smiles whether coming or going I felt good each day of my stay.

The Emerald Grill mentioned previously had an equally pleasant staff. My first night there while waiting for the aforementioned issues to be resolved, I stopped in for something to eat and the bartender and one of the ladies whom worked the hotels front desk were both a pleasure to talk to. While eating the amazing Gargonzola Blue Cheese Burger and steak fries I had ordered I also tried a few IPA craft beers they had on tap while gathering as much information I could from both employees about places to eat, places to see, etc, etc...

To add to all this the breakfast every morning was amazing! Just be warned, the breakfast is not free unless your company is partnered with them. Regardless I recommend the breakfast as its not cheap food nor ingredients. Everything was quality.

The reason we chose this hotel initially was its location. I could Uber to and from work quickly and easily especially because of the newly constructed 2.5 mile, 1.4 billion dollar tunnel that runs under the city. The hotel was walking distance to many restaurants, space needle, Pop culture museum and the list goes on. And because I hike alot I found no issues walking further distances.. on days that I felt tired I would walk as far as my feet would carry me than uber back..Theres also free shuttle busses, wish I had learned of this sooner but it is what it is..If you walk to the space needle you can find a billboard nearby for free shuttle bussea.. the shuttle will take you to pikes market, the waterfront, chinatown, centurylink field.. theres other shuttles that go other places from the waterfront. So one could essentially get around with minimal walking for free.

But wait theres more.. Seattle has alot to see and do and never enough time to do it all in. If there for multiple days and you have a clear sky dont just go up in the needle, take an uber to Kerry Park which is a little strip of park in a beautiful neighborhood on top of a hillside, It is from here that you get THE Quintessential View of the Space Needle, The City Skyline and on a clear day My Ranier off in the distance South. Yes Mt Raniers 2.5 hrs away but can be seen from Kerry Park and a few other places downtown. You can also see the Olympic Mountains which are equally dar awat to the west. The View from Kerry Park is tough to beat.

All in all I enjoyed working in Seattle, I worked hard but I also played hard and took it all in. I cannot praise this Holiday Inn enough because I also enjoyed what I call basecamp. And this basecamp is easy to get away from and get back to. Theres a nice park to stroll through southeast of the hotel and its nice, that leads to Wholefoods which I frequented for good eats and other essentials.

Very disappointed in this hotel. First, they kept me waiting till 4.30 pm because the room wasn t ready. Second, this hotel is not clean at all. A mouse just wondered in to my room in the morning. I wouldn t have stayed a single minute more in the hotel but all other hotels are booked in the area. Won t recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.

Convenient location for the Exhibition Grounds / Space Needle. Multiple transit routes either outside or a couple of blocks over, so easy to get downtown. Rooms are large and clean. Bar / Restaurant is not directly in the main building, however is cosy and offers a range of food and drinks.
