The room is like any other hotel, what I hate is that they charge you 25 dls parking and slide the bill next day by the door, that s not cool. They should let you know when check in. Their answers was that is on the website and there are sings. Aldo we came tired of driving and didn t see any signs. Even do is not cool charging and sliding that bill true your door next day. I feel rob or rip off. Isn t about the money is the way they did it

This is an OK hotel and a good one if you want to stay close to Seattle Center (but not the closest). I only stay for business travel so far and am satisfied in general. Clean enough, good service. Problems include lack of amenities around and too much construction in the area (not noisy at night though). It has one restaurant but no free breakfast unless your package comes with vouchers.

The hotel was definitely one of the nicer rooms I've stayed in, but the staff engages in shady practices. My card was double charged, they charged over 700 dollars for a 3 night stay, & I got food poisoning from the room service.

Poor customer service. Asked for towel an hour ago after 4 calls had to go down to front desk to get it. Musty smelling room, did not clean room even after requesting front desk. They say that breakfast is included but give only 2 coupons for a family of four. Will not stay here again!

Nice

The room was not what I normally receive in regard to Holiday inn standards. It was dark and drab. There was no complimentary breakfast available available (according to what we paid for) which has never and was not addressed when I booked the room. Then the water was shut off for approximately 9 hours on the second day of our visit making it very inconvenient. The staff were very friendly and polite which is the only reason I am even giving this hotel a 1 star. Thank goodness they are your saving grace.

The hotel is too pricey to not have complementary breakfast. You'll mainly be paying for location. Everything is walking distance, and the space needle is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel!

Out of power one day and out of water another. The hotel staff was rude. Hotel was dirty. Stayed one day: check-in day out of power from 4 to 11pm, and check-out day out of water. Asked for refund and manager Bee Jingers rejected and hanged up my phone when I requested again. Unbelievable.

Deja and Austin checked us in. They were sticklers for details. This set a great tone. The room was very clean and everything was ship shape. The restaurant was very good. It was nice to just walk down and not have to drive anywhere. We will always stay here when we visit Seattle..

Very friendly and efficient check in/out. Parking fairly reasonable based on the location.

We were Upgraded to a suite, which was spacious and well provisioned. Although the decor felt a tiny bit dated, it had everything we needed including USB chargers (very useful for international visitors) built into the bedside table.

Staff were very nice, but the whole room smelled of stale mold all night. Over-priced. The only thing worth something would be the Bath and Body Works products in the bathroom. To say the least, I'll be using a different hotel next time in the Seattle area.

The bathroom upon check in was not clean. The front desk had house cleaning come by, but they still left hair on the floor and shower which was the problem in the first place. The beds are not comfortable and the walls are paper thin. The only thing positive is the fact that the staff is nice and the price was right.

Room clean. Mini fridge and microwave. Easy walking distance to space needle and pikes market. Pricing fair. No free breakfast at the one on Dexter but the attached restaurant Emerald not bad food but a little pricy.

Bad for sightseers; there's a major uncrossable underpass that makes this much less convenient than hotels just a block or two away. Not much to do in the local neighborhood, again takes a 10+ minute walk to get to a good bar or restaurant.

Also, floors/ceilings are paper-thin, footsteps and noises are easily head by the floor underneath.

Clean and the staff was very friendly but the other issues above would preclude me from staying here again.

We had a little room mix-up upon arrival but other than that, the hotel was great. Room was clean and the staff was courteous. The hotel is within walking distance of all the sites Seattle has to offer. Breakfast bar would have been appreciated but overall a great experience.

Better options for the same price

Better options for the same price

Our stay here left us with a neutral experience. The first staff member we delt wasn't rude but left us with the feeling he didn't want to help us. The other staff members were great though.

Our card was charged the full amount immediately when we were told it wouldn't he charged until check out.

The location is good. Places you within walking distance of many things. However, after exploring we found there were better hotels at even better locations for roughly the same price.

The room was fairly clean. The concern that I has was with the floors. I walked around barefoot in the room but my feet looked like I took a couple laps outside barefoot.

Room Had the basics, mini fridge, microwave, Keurig. Bed was comfy but pillows we're thick.

Overall, it was decent. I would advise traverlers to look at other options before booking.

The hotel seems like this not the newest, most recently relocated, but it's pretty clean, in a really useful location, and the rooms are well appointed including good sized fridges and microwaves. I was given breakfast voucher for the restaurant next door. It was decent breakfast, albeit not particularly fast.

The receptionist was quite rude when I checked in. I booked a room through their website and got a confirmation email with the date I booked. Upon check-in, I was told that in their system it says that I had booked a different date. Although I showed her the confirmation email as proof, she was just very nasty and instead charged an additional $100 in order to get the room I had reserved. Definitely not staying at Holiday Inn again.

We stayed here for a couple of days before our cruise to Alaska in a double queen with a pullout couch. Had a fridge and microwave. Room is very clean and big. Clean and pretty hotel. Staff was really friendly. This hotel is close to everything, we walked to a lot of places. Emerald grill is also right next door. Good food and their staff was really friendly as well. Edit: when we first arrived we were told we could keep our vehicle here while on the cruise 21/day to park. There is plenty of space, as we have noticed below over several days. Never full. As we were getting ready to leave, the one less friendly man at the front desk told me no, there was parking at port. They had no room. . Took my husband coming back from an errand and being a bit stern. We had prepared with what they had originally told us. We were getting ready to leave in 15 minutes as we had prepared to leave with our group of 20. Little late to change plans...

Great service, clean rooms, a spread of amenities, and a great price. Location is proximate to the Seattle center, and is a great place to spend New year's. Building layout is a bit strange, but apart from that it's a great place to stay for an affordable price.

Pros: the rooms are big. Like incredibly big. All the rooms I've been in (several times) have 2 queen size bed or a king size one (even if you travel alone). Plus plenty of additional space. It also has a pool.
Cons: very old structure, the hotel design and decoration has probably not be renewed from the early '80. And the restaurant is really bad.

Could not stay here.

Could not stay here.
Was unable to reach the hotel by phone. Was immediately placed on hold for 15 minutes the first time I called. When I called back and asked for the front desk manager, the woman said she was the manager and again put me on hold, saying she was too busy to help me.
