Loved the walking bridge to the convention center and the starbucks at street level

The room was nice and clean. Beautiful view of the water along the riverwalk! Breakfast was delicious!

Great location and rooms. TThere elevators were not equipped to handle so much people

Overpriced. Staff was rude. AC did not function well. Loud lobby. Parking was a mess. Staff gave conflict info. Wifi was bad. Restaurant wasnt stocked properly.

Beds were comfortable rooms were quiet clean and roomy overall was a great experience

Great Hotel, Happy hour is the bomb and so is the free breakfast. Location is great as well. The only thing that stunk was the construction going on. Other than that, awesome hotel.

this was the back up at the vallet parking after check out. Just be prepared for the potential of a long wait. Too bad there's no self parking option. The lines at happy hour were similar or worse. Otherwise, the hotel was great. We enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is right in the downtown district. Very nice lobby, pool etc. The only negative was 2 of the 4 elevators are not functioning properly. It stops randomly on any floor and wont move. Scary when your 20 floors up! Took 20 floors of stairs instead!

Didn't actually stay here, but my company rented an area for dinner and drinks catered by hotel. They were good.

I was there for a short time while working during the Metrocon convention,it was nice.

Downstairs Starbucks is nice and all of the staff were very friendly.

I was alittle nervous to book because of a few of the reviews but our stay has been excellent!
We arrived a few hours early on a Monday and they where able to let us check in right away. I'm traveling with myself and 2 toddlers, they put us on the top (20th) floor with an excellent view! Needless to say my kids where ecstatic to go to the tippy tippy top! We haven't had any problems with the a.c. (previous review) and our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable! Also I have to say, the person who left a review about the valet just 2 days ago, that guy was by himself and doing the best he could do! He was very polite and tried to do his job as quickly and efficiently as possible! All of the staff have been excellent. We have been here for a week and don't want to leave!! Great location

Outstanding Hotel. Very clean, great pool, great view, great service, great location. Had a wonderful weekend. We will return soon for our next weekend getaway.

I was put off by several nickel and dime things, a lousy workout room and subpar customer service, but the worst by far was what the valet did to my car.

On March 1st, 2016, after waiting 20 minutes in a long line of Valets, I was tossed my keys and told where my car was on the ground floor (the valets were extremely busy and understaffed so I was happy to take my keys and run). When I got to my car I was shocked.

First my seat was all the way back, like someone was napping in it; the rear view mirror was bent, the back window halfway down and the interior smelled somewhere between cigarette smoke and body odor. The radio station was changed to a rap station and there was a cup of I don't know what in the cup holder (I tossed it). I drive to work utterly disgusted and hope the employees had a blast doing God-knows-what in my rental last night. Embassy Suites should pay for the smoking charge in my rental car. It's too bad, I have been Hilton gold or more for years and am utterly turned off.

Luxurious hotel with a beautiful architecture. 1 minute walk from Amalie arena. No complaints!

This hotel is positioned in a great location to have a blast at so many local bars. My only issue is it is very difficult to get into the front area and the parking area. The rooms are very comfortable and very well maintained.

Hotel ambience is heavily dictacted by events in the area and rooms are loud. It's more of a functional hotel opposed to a enjoy your stay hotel.

When we arrived to the hotel there was a line for the valet. After waiting like 20 minutes an employee came out telling us to follow him into the parking lot where he would then take the vehicles to the parking spots. They were short staffed. The hotel it s nice inside, the complementary breakfast was good. We asked for extra towels and it took 20-30 minutes for them to bring them to the room. The hotel location is very good.

I loved staying here! Due to COVID-19 they had stepped up their cleaning measures and honestly, that made me feel much better. Everything was sanitized and prior to entering they had a sticker on the door that broke off between the wall to assure someone that it was properly cleaned and ready for their next guest. The remote controllers were in a disposable baggy with a couple sanitizing wipes lying next to it. The room overall was clean and smelled refreshing. The view was beautiful. During these hard times, the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend and can t wait to return!

Great location, reasonable rates, great services, but when busy the elevators are a nightmare to use.

Free happy hour (5:30 -7:30) everyday rocks. Rooms are nice. Parking is expensive, and there is not free parking option, even for those who stay there

Just to let you know- I LOVE HILTON/EMBASSY. But, the Downtown Tampa location needs help. Front desk and management need changes- rude and intrusive. Went into my information without asking and even raised their voice after I told them they didn't clean our room. Very unprofessional and probably the worst experience I've ever had with any Hilton.

Nicely appointed rooms and friendly staff. Really convenient downtown location. Great restaurants nearby. A couple of downsides: Burned out lights in the hall and a lamp. The remote for the TV didn't work. Only a big deal if you watch a lot of TV. Ants. I woke up with bites on the back of my knees. I thought there must have been a spider in my room. I sat on the edge of my bed and felt my foot being bitten. I looked down and there was an ant biting me. After my shower I had the same discomfort and welt on my foot as I had on my knee. They said it's because of the trash can in my room. Somehow it's attracting ants to the 17th floor. The suite I had reserved smelled of smoke and so I was moved to a regular room. What's up with that? I know that's a lot of strikes, but overall I rate this a 4 out of 5. Despite the ants and lack of light, I was very comfortable and slept well. The staff was very attentive except for the one time I complained about the ants.

I am hopeful that the hotel looks great once the renovation is completed. The renovation was understated on the website. The hotel needs a really good cleaning. My room is newly renovated but you can tell it was done in a hurry.

We stayed for one night before boarding our cruise the next day. The happy hour was fabulous. The bartender made drinks quickly and efficiently. The other hotel guests also seemed enjoy it. As always, the breakfast was great with omelettes and potatoes and bacon and oatmralamd yogurt, etc. Our two-room suite suited me and my other two fellow guests well. They got their own beds, and I stayed on the surprisingly comfortable pullout couch. Our corner room offered plentiful views of the bay and the cityscape. I would definitely come back again.

Strangest, tiniest pool ever! Most everything else was ok. Always took a long time to get out of valet parking.

Embassy Suites never disappoint!! We were delayed checking in because our rooms weren't ready. Managment accommodated us with inhouse voucher for our inconvenience. Still 5 stars

The access into the hotel itself is the only issue we had, just because it doesn't really give you much to go by. Aside from that, everything else was great! Customer service is always the most impprtant aspect of any business, which they don't seem to lack!

Excellent service from the staff and great location. The rooms are large and spacious, and there are free drinks and snacks from 530 to 730 pm.

Amazing place to stay!! Right downtown Tampa Bay! Happy hour between 530 and 730 for free drinks and snacks! Also, the best complimentary breakfast I've ever had. Enjoy bacon, ready to make omlettes, hash browns, fresh fruit and so much more!!!! The people who work here are friendly and willing to help wherever needed. I would definitely stay here again anytime!!!!

Very clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast

If not for the location I would never stay here. The renovations seem to be very halfway done. WiFi is slow. The shower is not hot yet the sink can be scalding I'm sure this is not a coincidence haha. The front desk was lovely Trish was truly helpful, when I arrived the room I chose was not ready but she made sure to expedite the process of cleaning it. We hardly had to wait at all. Ryan from room service was also doing a great job he even let me borrow a lighter. Overall the property needs love even with the renovations, the floorplan just seems awkward. As hard working as the staff is they could use some love also.

Management (JASON) was very helpful with reservations and questions. I loved the breakfast with CLAUDIA.......then DILLON helped out a great deal and so did MARTHA (HOUSEKEEPING) and CARLOS (TROLLEY).

A great place for staying near local events. Many spacuous rooms but phone service can be bad at times.

This hotel made sure I couldn't sleep or feel comfortable. They lock the thermostats to only go down to certain temperatures and the there are motion detectors to see if you're in the room that will shut them off always making sure room is sweltering hot. I sweated all night a got 30 minutes sleep. The hair dryer was absolutely disgusting with sticky stuff all over it. The restaurant had a horrible wait staff that got simple orders wrong. Even the valet sevice takes your in a different place than you pick it up and they don't tell you so you. Stay somewhere else.

check-in parking location was hard to find. The desk didn't give a warm welcome greet. They are friendly and provide what is requested if you ask. The rooms are huge, spacious, clean and provide microwave and fridge. The room door has an open view. Free internet. Very comfortable beds. Nice pull out sofa in front room. Awesome hot home cooked breakfast including omletes. Extra towels and Blankets were brought up fast as hell. Tampa Convention Center was bout 20 steps away. (yes steps) Publix in walking distance. Parking way cheaper than the hotel across the street. Cleaning crew, Valet and staff were super friendly. In house Starbucks. :) minus one star because of the strange noise by my room that sounds like a machine or something. do not get a room with the wall view and parking garage. The noise is aggravating, it's off and on. For example room 710. The staff ask if everything was ok with my visit, I mentioned the noise and I got hilton bonus points....woohoo

The best thing about this hotel is their management staff. After several issues with rude and unprofessional staff, I met Luis, Toni, and Damir. They made it a point to make sure that the main issues I experienced were rectified. I had one manager, Steve, who told me the chefs/cooks didn't have time to tell me(nor would they know) if what I was allergic to was in the happy hour food and "just don't eat it". Thank you to the others for trying to help!

Large rooms, nice suite.. Fold out bed was horrible but the other beds in the room were great. Staff was awesome..
