The hotel facilities are very nice, loved the pool and the grounds in general. Our room was definitely nice, though a bit worn. The breakfast however was wonderful and had everything you could ever want!

Staff let s these kids run crazy without and respect to the other guest who are not traveling with a volleyball team ! We paid a lot of money to stay here to not get any sleep ! Parents don t parent and the hotel staff doesn t do their job of keeping kids from running up and down the hallways ! Don t have kids if you re not going to watch them !

Exactly as expected, clean, quiet, comfortable. Elevators are slow during peak traffic but knowing that was easy enough to factor in. Would recommend for any events at the convention center.

This is my favorite place to stay in Tampa. I love the views from the terrace. There is enough room for me to stay with my family. Happy hour is nice to enjoy, as well as the free breakfast.

This hotel is very nice and the two room layout makes it perfect for a business trip. The lobby is heavily under construction right now, so aside from the rooms anything further I could review would be a temporary situation, and thus of no point to note.

Good location and beautiful facility. I ate at the hotel Cafe and it was very expensive for an unimpressive meal. No internet in our conference rooms. Still, staff we're friendly and helpful.

Was in town for a bachelorette party and we all stayed at this hotel for the weekend. Every single one of the ladies had an amazing time, no one had any complaints. This was all around a great hotel. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!!

We had a wonderful stay here while attending the Rum Fest. Our room was perfectly comfortable and we really enjoyed the pool! Staff were all very kind and helped us to have a great stay. Looking forward to another staycation soon.

Busy area with people coming and going. Valet only parking. If there's a concert then forget sleeping. First time I have ever been charged for checking out early. This will not be a repeat place.

Been here twice. Internet and TV doesn't work. Fire alarm does! Something is wrong with the system and staff does not know what to do when the alarm sounds. And what's with staff serving up breakfast? I have never seen that at an Embassy Suires before. Are they trying to control portions?

I didnt stay here as a guest so I cannot give a fair review. I was here as vendor for a fashion show on the 2nd floor. The only parking that's available is valet which is $20 unless you park across the street at the garage that just so happen to be closed.

Considering all the renovations going on, the hotel staff handled themselves very well. My room was clean and ready when I arrived. The food from room service was quite good and came quickly. The walkway over to the convention center was very handy. The valet was also very accommodating. My main complaint is that breakfast should start earlier. There was quite a crowd gathered when the doors and it was quite a rush for to get our food, eat, and get to where we were going on time.

Great hotel. Awesome location. We stayed one night while waiting for our cruise. Convenient to everything. Convention Center, Amalie Arena, aquarium, and even the cruise terminal were within walking distance.

I stayed at the embassy suites for a conference and the staff was amazing to work with. The front desk staff were helpful in correcting a booking issue, making the process easy and quick. The social hour was great with quality drinks and friendly, funny bartenders. The rooms were comfortable, well maintained and clean. Overall, I had a great stay and will look forward to visiting again.

Excellent place to stay before our cruise. Only .7 miles from ports. Was only a $7 Uber ride. Room was large and very clean. The beds are comfortable with nice bedding and 65 inch TV. Our room had a spacious living room with a desk and wet bar. Overall atmosphere was outstanding. Would recommend to others.

The view is nice. It was a bit difficult to find, and the Front desk agent was just barely polite, definitely neither friendly nor welcoming. The room I paid for was suddenly "unavailable" and I was given a downgrade without apology or recompense. The TVs were nice, but the signal kept cutting off. Definitely not up to the usual quality of Embassy Suites.

The rooms are spacious, the bed and amenities are great. The staff is very friendly. The location is nice, but the parking is a nasty downside. Overnight valet is the only option offered by the hotel, and it's a $28 charge.

Hotel is very nice and service is great, exactly what to expect out of an embassy suites. Location is great if you plan on going to the nearby arena and there is a Starbucks built in. overall had a great experience there.

From the front desk, to the text messages welcoming our arrival and following up on our stay, it was very nice. Our only complaint is the parking options. Yes, its downtown Tampa so its very limited to space but for us, having to leave to drop my wife at the Straz Theatre then pick her up after, it was a big inconvenience. Parking rates were rather high as well. Overall happy with our stay. Staff was great! Just not a fan of having to pay extra to park!

Great staff. Good value to be located downtown. Quick walk to the aquarium, museum, Riverwalk and Sparkman Wharf. Well, not to mention the Convention Center is across the street and the Arena on the other side.

The money you pay is only for the location, and the complimentary food/services your fees are already paying for. $28 to park here with valet parking per night should say a lot. Tampa isn t famous for such egregiously high parking fees.

I got a lower floor suite. One of my windows faces a wall but the other overlooks the convention center. The room itself is spacious and comfortable. The staff is very polite. The complimentary breakfast is delicious (Hilton Honors membership helps), and the hotel is very easy to get around. Very good experience.

I cannot begin to describe my frustration here. I usually love Embassy suites, but this was a total let down. They sent my school not one, but two incorrect invoices in which they expected our school to fix THEIR mistake and pay the remainder of the balance. Then after that...they said there were still $200 unaccounted for. What. The. Hell. They never bothered even showing me that freaking mysterious bill They authorized charges on my card that were UNAUTHORIZED by me not once, not twice, but three times. I couldn't pay my own bills that weekend (modest teacher salary here) and over drafted because of their financial screw ups. After wasting my own personal time speaking to various manager after manager I missed the majority of my conference workshops (the whole point I was even there to begin with). And after all that, lodging a complaint with headquarters, etc. The general manager, Jeff (yes I know who he is by name by now sad to say as well as EVERY other front desk managers' name) didn't even have the decency to contact me to try and rectify all of the endless financial issues occurring with my stay, despite me having emailed him and called him. Cowardly. Despicable for any companies' customer service track record. I have never IN MY LIFE been SO STRESSED OUT staying at a hotel before, never mind an embassy suites. God, I would have been far less stressed staying at a freaking motel 8 and would have submitted a much more affordable invoice for my school to reimburse for that matter (and they probably would have got the price right the first time). Just on principle alone, they should have honored the first invoice they gave my school. That would have been 'making our say right' as they so ardently champion they do if you have a bad stay. We'll they didn't. Instead I wound up with more charges than I can count and I literally cried at the front desk yesterday because of all the frustration. And I don't do that. Ever. It was just that bad. Please don't stay here. Especially if you are coming from a school and doing some large event and you're booking multiple rooms. You will regret it. Even the complimentary breakfast is good, that alone is not enough for me to endure this again. No way. This will not be a hotel my school ever uses again, and I suggest you do the same if you want to save yourself going gray early.

Pros:

Pros:
-complimentary breakfast in the morning which includes omelette station, meats, pancakes, oatmeal, hash browns, breads, etc
-Price
-Location
-Pool
-Free snacks and alcoholic drinks from 5:30-7:30
-Starbucks in lobby
-rooms were clean
Cons:
-Elevators take FOREVER
-Only came across two friendly staff during the stay
-Very limited options for parking, pretty much have to use valet which is close to $40 a night.
-towels in room feel like you are using sandpaper

I have stayed at many hotels for many reasons and I must say this is one of the best I have ever stayed at. staff from every department is friendly courteous and knowledgeable even though they have incredibly high volumes during the event I'm staying for they were fast and efficient. and my experience their quality does not go down due to high volume. I will definitely be staying again and I think it's well worth every penny
