Came for a wedding the room was hot breakfast was horrible no coffee for guest on a Monday only have continental breakfast on weekends which again was horrible powdered scrambled eggs and sausage.Had several rooms with our party the refrigerator was broken rooms are overpriced and would not recommend a stay here.

Great place to stay staff is very friendly every night between 5 and 7 you can get free snacks and free alcohol down in the lobby at the little bar every morning you get a complimentary full breakfast from omelettes to sausages eggs bacon Bagels danishes pancakes fruit yogurt and much more

very nice place.. I had a problem with someone selling timeshare to people and myself while we were eating breakfast made me feel like it was the only reason breakfast was served

Hotel and rooms are descent but the service is horrible. We have stayed in three separate ES and you wait FOREVER for everything!!! They are literally the least accommodating hotel we have ever stayed at. They simply do not care if you have special circumstances or needs they have no interest in accommodating you. We have had to stay at these hotels for professional events and all three have been some of the most frustrating stays I have ever had at a hotel!! I would drive an extra 50 miles NOT to stay at an Embassy Suites!! If you have any other option, even tent camping, do it!!! Staying at Embassy Suites is like living a Seinfeld episode, without the laughs.

Clean, professional facility with excellent access to Tampa Bay Convention Center

Hotel was fabulous. Beautiful rooms and very spacious. The elevator was the best part.

Great location to everything. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. The price was great compared to the other hotels around. The breakfast was busy but tasted good. If staying downtown Tampa again I would stay there again.

Clean rooms and facilities, fitness room was nice but small, pool is very small. Stayed here for work, so the small pool was not a problem, but if bringing kids it could be. The location is great for convention center or Amalie Arena, also enjoyed the Riverwalk. There is a trolley stop right in front of the hotel, which is convenient, and there are many restaurants within walking distance.

Great customer service. The staff was very accommodating and made our stay a pleasant one.

It wasn't the best stay I have ever had but not the worst either. The parking is a nightmare. You can vallet for a MERE 28 dollars or go across the street to public park and drag your stuff with you. Either choice leaves a ton to be desired logistically. The lobby is nice as well as the dining area in the center. The free breakfast is as good as you'll get in a hotel. The 2 hour reception time with free drinks and snacks is a nice touch. The room we got (721) was small and not well cleaned. The shower is too tight and I'm a small guy. We ovwr looked the pool but other than that not a great view. There was mold in the mini fridge that we cleaned out ourselves. The gift shop is terribly priced and the resturaunt Trolleys is good but not worth the $$$. Plenty of other spots near by that you can enjoy for less. The location is great you are close to everything Tampa has to offer. Stadiums, zoo, aquarium, bars and resturaunt are all just a few minutes away. I would possibly stay again but only if we caught it on a great deal.

Beautiful hotel with lavish suites. The pool area is outdoor and on the third level giving great views of Tampa Bay. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Each stay includes breakfast and dinner vouchers. Highly recommended!

Hotel is very accommodating. Receptionist are helpful. Rooms are comfortable and cozy. Shower is amazing. Hot water and soft towels

i had a great stay everything was clean and perfect but the fact i didn t like was no one wore masks on the elivator no none but not everyone did and that was not enjoyable thank you for the great stay!!

Best hotel to stay in for conferences at the convention center. Complementary breakfast is quite good and includes hot foods and made to order omlets.

Nice place. They have free breakfast and a free happy hour for guests. It's also just across the street from the water front. Very convenient to the convention center and waterfront restaurants and activities.

The front desk staff was super friendly and very helpful. We were visiting for the Megacon at the Tampa Convention Center and made the stay very pleasant. The bed was so comfy after walking all day, we did not want to check out.

Good location. Rooms are in good shape and large. They do have some have minor annoyances to them. Like the mirror being mounted too low so that faucet wouldn't go all the way back. Happy hour downstairs is nice. The gym is modern but a bit small and needs more equipment. Breakfast is pretty standard and nothing that will surprise. 4 elevators that are generally quick except at peak traffic times. The price feels just a bit high all things considered but that's driven by the location.

Nice hotel. Great free breakfast. Rooms are big. Don t come here for the pool though. It is very small and the shadow of the building blocks the sun, so you can t even lay out in the sun. Perfect if you are in town for a conference.

Hotel is very nice, and staff are great. The elevator situation was the only negative.

Room was a little dirty, hair in the tub, etc. Breakfast was fair, but complimentary happy hour was good.

Please ensure all rooms are thoroughly cleaned! The one I received on floor 14 was extremely below standards as nothing was clean at all and please replace the toilet seat already. It was awful. I'll give an extra star only for the good valet staff.

Very poor check-in process, 25 minute wait. Was told because I was checking in ONE hour early there would be a $25 charge. Room did have the "clean" look or feel. I could go on and on. Stay away from this place.

Terrible experience. I was woken up at 5:30 in the morning by loud kids in the lobby. I called the front desk three times to see if they could ask them to be quite. Akeem informed me they were kids arriving for a music festival and waiting for breakfast. I Informed him that I understood and as a guest, would appreciate if he told them or their chaperons to keep it down. He informed me he would and never did after asking three times.

I was also in the bathroom and the cleaning lady walked in while being informed by my wife that I was in there. We had a terrible experience at check in with financials. Should have been an indicator of our stay.

I usually enjoy staying at embassy suites because of the perks that go with it. You can't argue with the breakfast and happy hours. As a fan of their franchise, I am totally disappointed with this one. Staff isn't friendly, they don't take guest concerns into consideration, and are seemingly careless about your experience while you stay at this location.

Don't waste your money or your time.

I have stayed at hotels that have been doing renovations but this has been one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. Check in was probably the smoothest experience during my stay. When I got to my room, it appeared everything was great. I went to fresh up before heading to the convention center and low and behold the bathroom sink wouldn't drain. I look on the floor and there are towels still under the sink, likely from the previous guest. I still didn't get upset. I went to use the other sink and it was stopped up as well. My biggest issue was approaching the Front Desk staff and letting them know about the sinks and the used towels. The reaction from the 2 young ladies and a gentleman who may have been the front desk manager was astonishing and unprofessional. As I am telling one of the young ladies about my situation, he blurts out, "well we are sold out and there is no other rooms available." I was not asking to be moved, I just wanted fresh towels and for my sinks to be unclogged. I went to my conference and returned to my room, the dirty towels were still on the floor and although the water had gone down in the sink, they were still clogged. Called down to the front desk and of course no one answers. Breakfast was a complete joke as it took them 30 mins to prepare eggs. How are you operating a hotel adjacent to the Convention Center and can not prepare for large crowds staying in your hotel? No Customer service skills and very unprofessional. As someone who used to work in hospitality and I generally like Embassy Suites, this was a mediocre experience and had there been a room at the Marriott, I would have gladly moved over there.

Great location. Elevators need to be updated. Room decor close to being drab.

Came in the night of the 28th and the service was horrible, they didn t have rooms for anyone because they were short staffed on maids to clean the rooms. The only thing that made my experience enjoyable was the valet s outstanding service. The valet named Eathan took care of my car and was super informative about restaurants in the area and how to get around Tampa efficiently. Super friendly guy and I felt bad about not tipping. I m giving 5 stars for the valet service not the hotel just so that s clear.

Went for the penguins lightning game. Was a good time. Lots of butt play.

An embassy suites in Tampa, great location, great views

The front desk was kind, and the free breakfast was amazing. They also allowed early check in (for an additional $30) and gave us a room with amazing view. That's where the positive ends. They initially told us they ran out of cribs. When asked what we were supposed to do with our infant son, they said "We ask that our guests bring their own cribs". Who brings their own crib to a hotel?! After some strong words, they brought us a (broken) pack n play. It did the job. Valet was nice but not enough staff, the lines before check out are insane. They don't have enough luggage carts so expect to make multiple trips when you leave. The carpet and bathtub were stained. I wanted to like this place; I've always had nostalgia for Embassy Suites from my younger days but I was very disappointed with our stay.

Not clean. Restaurant overpriced and limited. Worst experience at an Embassy. Airport one is great.

Big hotel. They receive packages without payment. I ordered a cellphone and I received it immediately.

We stayed in this hotel because the wedding was actually in this hotel. If we didn t have to stay here we wouldn t. The front office is COMPLETELY incapable of assisting guests with any matter, from housekeeping needs to billing issues. I ll spare the details because there are so many but anytime we approached the desk with issues, they had to go to the back to the mysterious manager that no one ever saw and even after speaking with them, they never actually solved anything. Check in was 2 hours late, extra charges on our room(that STILL have not been resolved and we checked out a week ago) , valet charges were inconsistent, we went our whole stay with one towel even after calling down to housekeeping which just went to the front desk. I ll give housekeeping credit because they made sure the rooms were clean and did it as timely as they could, but their direction came from the dysfunctional front office so obviously guest needs were not communicated adequately(if at all). Breakfast was great and the staff worked very hard with the volume this hotel held. Unfortunately the dysfunctional front desk and management overall negates the good that this hotel could offer. I won t even get into the problems with the event staff but you would think that a hotel where you were paying A LOT of money for a wedding (And brought a good number of patrons to your hotel), they may do more to help make your stay a little easier. Maybe assist with transport of wedding decor, extra treats, favors, etc...? I ve been to many weddings were hotels bend over backwards to help the host, as they should! Weddings are a lot of work and this hotel did not assist with any matter to make our stay better. I would not recommend this hotel... ever.

Very large rooms,the staff are very friendly and helpful to all your needs we had a room on the 20th floor on the bay side the view spectacular will definitely be coming to this hotel in the future

The breakfast at Embassy Suites Tampa was great and the wait staff was friendly, quick and efficient!

The breakfast was disappointing, not an E quality that we're used to. The TV was broken, they didn't even had a blanket when we needed one
Overall as a loyal Hilton member, this was a very disappointing experience.

Cleaning service is a bit slow but the breakfast is great and is right next to the trolley if you don't want to walk.

Under construction with no notice but all else was ok. Staff still friendly and accommodating.

This hotel was spectacular! I arrived early and had no issues checking in. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room/suite was great...much more than I expected for the deal I got! Excellent views from the room and elevators. Only thing that was a little annoying is hearing the elevator every time it moved...but I think that only would be an issue in certain corner rooms.

First night my room, the smell was so bad. It was like someone flooded the room and did not clean it for days. The carpet took every bit of that smell and held it. Front desk offered to have housekeeping spray it with some sort air freshener. I declined and requested a new room. I did get one but I was talking to a member of the hotel. Their words, oh yeah that room always smells like that. You would think a hotel with this name would not knowingly put someone in there.

My work truck was broken into in the parking garage The valet left the truck unlocked
The view I have was a concrete wall
And housekeeping leaves drink cups around they did a beer minimum

If I could give a zero star review this hotel would certainly have earned it. Was staying overnight to attend the ELO concert. Got to the hotel at 5pm, they had no available rooms and a room was not ready for us until almost 9pm (the concert started at 8pm). Parking is not included with your nightly stay, you have to pay valet or a separate garage to park. The valet actually lost track of both our car and the keys. They spent an hour looking for it before finding the car with the key still in it because the valet had left it in there.
Since we were at the concert when our room was ready we did not get into our room for the first time until almost 1130pm. The room was nice, but literally had no time to actually enjoy it since it was pretty much get to the room for some sleep before checking out in the morning. For a hotel right next door to such a popular venue this was mass incompetence every step of the way.

Beautiful hotel and good service, except that when we checked out we inadvertently left 4 bottles of our duty free liquor behind and it disappeared. All the hotel could say was that they couldn't find it. Not good enough.

I'm here for the Tampa Bay Comic Con. Not really spending much time at the hotel.

Hotel is in a great location, walking distance to a ton of great bars, restaurants, clubs. Large breakfast area so it is easy to find a table. Elevators are really slow.

Had a work event. Staff was very accommodating. Wish I could have stayed the night for the managers special at the bar.

Do yourself a favor and park a car across the street in the public garage. This place has terrible parking rules and added fees.
Overall, the hotel can use renovation. Service saves this place from lower rating.

Good place but they charge you for everything. There is no way to park your car, there is only valet and in a large event you have to wait an hour to receive a car. The rooms and the service is good but not being able to enter and exit is uncomfortable.

The free breakfast and happy hour for guests is the best! Such a nice place, enjoyed my room very much too.

So we waited over a hour and a half and 2 occupied rooms later and a manager searching for a unoccupied room we finally get a room and it is now the following day and we have yet to hear from a manager for a proper resolution not happy sorry

Way too many floors for 2 elevators. Gets very hard to leave in the morning/during a big events. Has a sky bridge to the convention center and a starbucks in the building, very convenient. A pretty hotel, big rooms, ok breakfast. Valet parking isn't included with the room, and they almost lost our car keys one year;;

Best service and friendly. Will definitely be staying there again for my anniversary! Thank you staff for making my anniversary perfect, hugs.

Any concerns that I had(very few issues) the hotel took care of immediately. The restaurant the 'Taste' had really good food, but the wait was just entirely too long, an hour to get food and it was given in sections, fries and then 10 min later I got my wings. I have 3 more days here, I will update again then.

Sucks, 28.00 daily valet parking is mandatory,restaurant is a joke, breakfast good, room has smell, way overpriced. Don't stay downtown.

Rooms were beautiful and well kept. Complimentary drinks at night were also a plus. I was disappointed I couldn't use the pool or jacuzzi.
