I ate at the bar--everything was as expected. I've stayed in a number of Embassy Suites and this one wasn't quite as clean or polished as others I've stayed in. It can also get really noisy at the end of the day when the troops come back from Disneyland. A ton of cranky kids :(

Let me start off by saying this was by far one of the nicest hotels I ve ever stayed at and this review has absolutely nothing to do with the cleanliness of the rooms, service by front desk staff, maids or anything of that nature if I could rate that seperately I would give it 5 stars in a heart beat. This review is solely for the accounts and billing department and in particular an employee named Gwen I believe that s how it s spelled . Anyways I had prepaid for the room because I had gotten such a good deal on it. upon arriving and checking in late at night on December 6th early December 7th the gentleman at the front desk ask for a card for the $200 deposit on the room, a fairly standard procedure at most hotels. I gave him my card he charged the $200 gave me the keys to the room and I enjoyed my stay the next 3 days checked out December 9th and went on my way. The next week on the 12th I called the hotel because I noticed a $36 charge i had completely forgot about the parking fee. Durring that call I asked how long it would be until my refund was credited back to my account and I was told up to 4 business days. So the 19th rolls around 5 business days later I call back and this time speak to Gwen from the billing and accounts dept. she informs me that it takes longer for refunds when debit cards are used and to honest I didn t catch the reason why because I was in the middle of work and had my mind stretched about 10 different ways but that I should receive my refund in 8-10 business days. So here we are today December 31st not including the holidays it s been 15 business days just about 3 weeks overall. So I called just a few minutes ago to check the status of my refund again I spoke with Gwen. However this time she changes her story to say no money was ever taken out of my account that s not how they handle deposits and proceeded to argue with me and tell me that I m confused about how it works and I don t know how to read my bank statement while I m starring at the 200 dollar withdrawal from embassy suites garden grove California in Anaheim on December 7th on my bank account summary. If you have actually ready to this point 1st off apologize for being so long winded and secondly if you stay at this hotel I would be very cautious and attentive to your bank account because this hotels accounts and billing department will pick your pocket if they believe they can get away with it

This is a beautiful Embassy Suites. The staff all seem very friendly and ready to help. The amenities are better than most places with the same star rating as well imo.i would definitely keep this place in mind.

We love staying at this hotel. Great free happy hour, free delicious made to order breakfast omelettes, fun tropical feel inside with palm trees, koi pond and turtles. Love this place! Only issue is our room was closed to the elevators and we could hear them going all night sounded like loud wind storm. Love staying here though one of our favorites.

Stayed there for one night because I was attending my company's Christmas party, hotel is nice but you cannot control the room temperature and for my wife and I it was too warm at 70+ degrees with is and the kids in there. We also found some hair in the sheets that did not belong to us, we're not sure if the sheets were not changed or if the hair ended up there when the bed was being made. They have a nice breakfast accommodation but the bacon was fake and made me sick, there is a cool rain forest vibe to the lobby/ breakfast area and there is a lion that lays atop a waterfall and comes to life and roars ever twenty or so minutes, downside to this was that we had to hear it all day and night even on the 9th floor.

I've stayed here multiple times when visiting Disneyland, The Grove, King Harbor Seafood Buffet and other "Have-To" sites, and I am never disappointed. Complimentary breakfast buffet- omelet station, waffles, french toast, The Works; manager Happy Hour with TWO free drinks- cocktails, on the rocks, or beer; pool, gym, etc.. and their suites have 2 TV's with a door separating the bedroom from the livingroom- WHICH includes a pullout bed. They've thought of all "Needs" when it comes to their customers!

The Embassy Suites is one of my favorite hotels. The made to order omlet and full breakfast buffet are a great bonus on top of the Suites with Fridge and Microwave. The rooms are large, the bathrooms are large and there is a pull out bed in the couch in the living room. The shuttle for Disneyland stops right out front every :15 and :45 and you can buy tickets at the front desk.

I love this hotel. We have stayed there many times on our trips to Disneyland. Big comfortable rooms beds are nice, pretty quiet most of the nights. Usually get a good night sleep here. The breakfast buffet and omelet bar that are included with your room is a great way to start the day. I love the happy hour in the afternoon also.

Embassy does what it takes to make you feel right at home, without the cleanup. Housekeeping was on point. The daily breakfast's consist of omelette made your way. Bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, pancakes, french toast, bagels, donuts and miso soup. Yeah, that one surprised me, Japenese soup with all the fixings. Fill up before Disney or California Adventure. Or go to the pool, jacuzzi or gym.

This hotel is awesome. We travel from Alaska to stay here when we go to Disneyland. Love the location and the buffet breakfast in the mornings is amazing!! Our only request would be to upgrade the bathroom showers as the faucets are not that great. But that s a small concern as this hotel is really great. Check out the photos of the inside. It s really cool.

I called the hotel directly and made a reservation. Sara was very helpful and she was able to provide an AARP discount with an nonrefundable rate. Unfortunately when my family arrived, the quality of the hotel did not meet the Embassy Suites quality of other locations. The elevators were filled with the smell of marijuana. When we got to our room, the walls were dirty and the room had a smell that we did not like. The towels seemed old and a bit yellowish. We went back down to the reception area and requested to cancel the reservation. Since the room rate was not refundable, the cancellation was made without a refund. We went to another hotel about 0.5 mi away, paid less and received much better service. I do not recommend this hotel. This is not Anaheim South, the area is Garden Grove.

Embassy suites was a nice stay, the rooms were clean, service was quick and prompt. Breakfast was very well done, the only complaint was the maintenance of the pool was a little neglected.

It was great service. Minor complaints: hair dryer was broken but replaced right away. Not enough bathrooms by the pool, could not figure out tv and a.c. air was not circulating throughout the whole room. Otherwise fantastic stay requests and complaints were promtly addended to and resolved.

Check in was quick and easy, room was clean and spacious, and the bellman were extremely helpful. The made to order breakfast was delicious and the Serengeti restaurant was perfect after a long day at Disneyland. We will definitely be back here for our next trip to Disney.

This embassy is nice because of how close it is to disneyland. They have a shuttle service to and from disney roundtrip for a reasonable price. I think kids were 3 and adults 6 to 9 dollars. Plus the free breakfast and complimentary evening open bar was awesome

The best hotel I have ever stayed at. Really cater to her needs and our school.

Staff is exceptionally the best I have ever seen. Would highly recommend staying here. Rooms are a tad bit outdated. (Early 2000's) amazing facility, amazing pool, great elevators, could we exceptionally well staffed.

Please stay

Upon check in our rooms were incorrect. We booked 1 room that had 2 double beds and another as a king and a sofa bed. They could not accommodate since they overbooked. This seemed to be the complaint from everyone we spoke with staying at the hotel along with elevator wait times and no clean towels. We called days before and the day before to confirm our bed arrangements.
We checked in for 10 days and on day 8 my keys stopped working. I went to the desk to confirm my check out day and was told all was fine and my keys were restored until they called us an hour later demanding we return and pack because they were overbooked and we had to leave. The manager was rude and said he didn t care about the issue
I travel monthly I always follow up with my bookings, this place is a mess. Also, breakfast is a disaster and so are the elevators. If you have to stay here stay on the bottom floor if you dare. Also they ran out of clean towels so I was forced to wash ours. Lots of issues!! Horrible experience
