We stayed here with our high school band for the Rose Bowl Parade. Very nice hotel. We had a king suite, plenty of room, comfy bed. Good warm breakfast. Only downside was there were only 2 elevators. Lots of waiting esp with a group of 350 who needed to be somewhere at the same time. Otherwise, the staff was beyond welcoming for our big group! Close to Disneyland, even walkable, but it does have a shuttle. Highly recommended if staying in the area!

I can honestly say that this is my favorite hotel to stay at when I m in LA. There s nothing really negative I can point out. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet has a variety of choices, all quite delicious! The lobby is really cosy as well. There s also a gift shop. The hotel is also really close to the parks so it s easy to come and go. By far the best place to stay. However, it can get crowded; it s better to stay somewhere else if you want a calmer and quieter hotel

Stayed here with my Husband for our recent disney vacation. Walking distance from the park, this hotel is one the best for its prices. We ve stayed at many of the various hotels nearby and this one is our favorite. Also this place has the best free breakfast spread of any hotel i ve stayed at. The omelet chef is a serious 10/10!!

This hotel was unclear and rude about their nightly charges, we were told one group rate and ended up paying a lot more.. when asked to speak to a manager about it they sent us to a sales person who said I m sorry there s nothing I can do it s absolutely Ridiculous that we were not honored in our graph rate. We Weill NOT be staying here in the future!

Service has been excellent! Everyone goes out of their way to take care of us during our visit. The free brekfast is amazing and the free happy hour (2 hours) is just as amazing. Only thing I disagree with is being charged $10 a day to park your vehicle in their parking lot. Pay to park so you can stay at their place? Where else are you suppose to park?

Slow, slow internet. The bed doesn't have a fitted sheet. We reserved several rooms, had trouble getting them close to each other. Staff hasn't been that friendly and what's with the tip jars all over the place? Pool is heated, but barely, spa is luke warm. Too much chlorone. It's clean enough, good breakfast. Solid 2 - 3 stars.

This place is an out-dated sh*thole. I stay in Hiltons across the country every week for work and this is one of the worst. I was mislead by good reviews of families that probably don't travel often and the weird thing is the price here is comparable to much nicer hotels closer to Disney. Stay at the Doubletree a few doors down or the newer Hometown Suites you will probably get much better service too!
I was excited to stay here for my 3 day trip to Di...
I was excited to stay here for my 3 day trip to Disneyland with my 3 kids. I paid in full in advance so I got a great rate and was minutes from Disneyland. We enjoyed our stay very much until the last day when I received my check-out statement that had a $150 charge for loss and damages. I could not imagine what this could be for. We didn't break anything, we were not loud or inconsiderate guests. I called customer service to ask what the charge was for and he said he didn't know and I'd have to talk to a manager who wouldn't be in for 2 hours. We were leaving to drive home to Lake Tahoe so I didn't call back right away. The next time I called I was told the charge was for "smoking" in my room. I told her there was NO WAY that was possible and perhaps they got the wrong room. Again, there was no one I could speak to that day and had to call back 2 days later to speak to a manager. I called back 2 days later to speak to Ashley, (the manager) but she was not available and had to call me back later. This was my daughter's birthday and we were driving to paint pottery so getting in touch with the hotel was very inconvenient. Ashley called me back and I explained to her that there was no way anyone smoked in our room. She proceeded to tell me that it wasn't cigarette smoke they smelled but MARIJUANA!! I was completely stunned!! She told me 3 different employees, including herself went into my room halfway through my stay and smelled an "overwhelming" odor of marijuana. I became fairly livid at this point and told her this was unacceptable and who did I need to speak with about removing the charge. Again, I was told the manager I needed to speak with was unavailable and he would call me back in about an hour. I didn't get a call from him until 11am the next day. I told him the accusation was ludicrous and I felt like a victim with no rights. I cannot imagine what people go through when accused of a crime they did not commit but are thrown in jail anyway - this is what my experience felt like on a much smaller scale. I told him that accusing me of smoking pot in the room was outrageous. He told me they "were not accusing me of smoking pot in the room, but since I stayed in that room and my room smelled the strongest of marijuana of all the rooms surrounding mine, I was responsible for paying the $150 fee whether or not I smoked in my room." To make the situation worse, he spoke to me in a manner that conveyed he didn't believe me, he didn't care that I felt victimized and he wasn't about to apologize for my horrific treatment. I am in total disbelief this nightmare has happened to my family and that I've had to pay $150 for something someone else did OR something that was made up. I never smelled anything in my room my entire stay. I feel like I've been bullied and I have no rights. I will NEVER stay at an Embassy Suites again.

Our family has stayed here twice. The breakfast is one of the best parts about this Embassy Suites. Staff was nice, rooms were clean. Elevators were a tad slow and even got stuck one day. But we keep coming back again and again. The kids love the Lion, as far as they know its real. The Mathis family Plans to come back next fall.

I wish I could provide 0 stars my experience was s...
I wish I could provide 0 stars my experience was so terrible. I literally just left this hotel after so many issues within an hour of arrival. #1. There's a homeless person living in a van, in the parking lot, using the pool, undetected by staff. #2. No luggage carts available & I've checked in before official check in time, does nobody go looking for them to have them available for new guests? Nope #3. I'm alone with my daughter, juggling all my luggage... right in front of the elevator an employee just walks by us as we're struggling to get our hands free to push the button #4. Only 1 elevator is working, that's right only 1. #5. We get checked into a room that has obvious flood damage, no AC on and there's an air mover drying up damages. #6. I call downstairs, I'm told to come back down for a new room. I just juggled everything into this room! I ask if there isn't someone who can come bring the keys or a luggage cart. I'm told I can wait 5-15 minutes for someone to bring keys (In a room with no AC and it took forever to get up to my room because there's 1 elevator working, I know this is NOT going to be 5-15 min). At this point I'm irritated and I express so. I'm asked "what do you want us to do" UGH. I'll come back down. I get us geared up again, and wait appx 8 min. for the elevator to finally come for us. #7. I get off the elevator to a GROUP of people who have just checked in, waiting for the elevator w/ NO FACEMASKS on & none hanging from their faces so I know they checked in this way. #8. I get a new room key, I wait another 10 minutes or so to get on the elevator. I finally have my turn & there's an employee in the elevator. She waves me in, then waves more people in the car! I say to her, isn't it supposed to be one ride per family? I know it is because of the elevator's size, she says " I don't know" Seriously?! Hilton's website specifically showcases all the ways employees are supposed to be Covid-19 savvy. #9. On our way up, there's a chick with no facemask, we get into a fight because she refuses to get off the elevator because I didn't say "please". Spoiler alert, I DID! "You're not wearing a face mask. Please get out" I'm in close proximity to you with my 7 yr. old daughter, yes get the hell out! She's mad because she thinks I "didn't" say please?! I'm sooooo over this. I'm so frustrated I get into our 2nd room, call down to speak with a manager and simply ask to cancel my stay. #10. I go downstairs, there's another guest with the exact same complaint speaking to the manager on duty. Literally as we are both expressing all of our concerns, the receptionist behind the counter with him is checking a guest in who is NOT wearing a facemask. HUH?! The manager proceeds to say that they cannot enforce facemasks. Ummm yes you can! Refuse service and advise they must put one on if they want to be assisted. I have to do that at my job, it's uncomfortable but I do it because I have to. So do you! Additionally, if there's only 1 elevator working, station an employee there to ensure social distancing while waiting in line, monitor how many people get on the elevator at a time and that they are wearing masks. I'm told he doesn't have the staff to do that. There were 3 people at the front desk, you could have easily sent one of them to the elevator while the other 2 check people in. Done! That's what a manager does, mitigates & comes up with solutions to problems. My fav part? Telling him there's homeless living in a van & using the pool, he had no idea. This was by far the worst experience I could have ever asked for at a hotel. They are out right refusing to do their jobs and keeping guests safe to avoid confrontation. I left because I felt UNSAFE. Homeless people running amuck, having to fight people without masks for your own health & then worrying for your safety because you spoke up. Hilton, you need to do better. Management, I've read the reviews, please don't insult my intelligence with a reply on how you're sorry my stay didn't meet expectations. Do something about your staff; Education & training!

Standard embassy suites. Their happy hour was good and they let you order food which was great. One negative was that we had asked about taking the shuttle to the park and they just told us the times to be outside. They failed to mention that you had to buy tickets inside first. We had a group of 12 standing in line only to be told we had to go back in and buy tickets but by that time we would have missed the shuttle so we ended up driving and paying for parking instead.

Every year we stay at this Embassy Suites to attend a knife show. It is our favorite Embassy Suites. The rooms are nicely arranged and spacious where you have a living room area with a dining room table. The beds are so very comfortable and it's a clean room.
The location is convenient to nearby attractions and eateries. The staff is so accommodating and friendly.
The ambiance is fun like Disneyland that kids and adults feel very welcome to this place. There is a lion that sits on top of a tall rock and roars either on the hour or half hour. There's rocks and greenery that gives the outdoor atmosphere so you feel like you are eating outdoors. The complimentary breakfast is very good. There is a station that will cook you an omelet to your specification. At times they will also have the miso soup and rice out with condiments like seaweed, tofu and green onions. That is my favorite breakfast food and adding eggs and sausage to it makes for a complete menu for me. It keeps me full for most of the day. They also make hamburgers at lunch and you order that at the bar area. The hamburgers are delicious. It has everything you would want away from home.

While my family has stayed here a couple of times ...
While my family has stayed here a couple of times in the past and had decent experiences, today has been by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Reading previous reviews others seem to have the same experiences here when it comes to how staff handles emergency situations. At about 6:30 am I was awoken to a loud beeping siren. I looked out my hotel room door and saw smoke coming from the top floor. There wasn't any clear announcement to evacuate the hotel.. I had to wake my family up and tell them to leave because there was a fire. As I was exiting the hotel there was a woman making what was supposed to be an announcement over their "speakers," which absolutely no one could hear or understand because they were so muffled and quiet. Not one of our neighbors that I spoke to could understand what was announced. The entire situation was a complete mess. The front desk had nothing to tell me when I asked what was happening. They allowed some guests to stay inside and even eat breakfast while fire trucks rolled up! Tons of guests were outside in the cold as well and we were never told if the fire was cleared! We were left to assume that everything was fine after waiting outside for about 30 minutes because their staff was so completely clueless. Hotels and businesses have protocols to follow.. Obviously they DID NOT follow theirs. The lady working the front desk said she hadn't done a fire drill before. The staff showed an embarrassing amount of unpreparedness and a lack of practice given on management's part. That same night at 11:30 pm, a loud siren sounded, which obviously startled many guests. Again, we were all left in the dark as to our safety. The elevators completely quit working. Not one announcement was given. I had to call the front desk to inquire about the siren, only to be told that it was a test and they had no service...? At 11:30 pm! Those who didn't call the front desk were walking around aimlessly in the halls wondering if they should evacuate or not. We are so utterless disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who cares about their family's safety. It obviously isn't valued at this establishment. I shouldn't feel on edge while I'm on vacation because I'm in fear of my safety due to a hotel's failure to inform guests of what's going on and whether it is safe to enter their building.

All of the staff is extremely helpful and courteous. We had a couple of issues with our rooms; first room was beside ice and vending with too much traffic for the kids to sleep in the suites living room, so the manager promptly and kindly found us a new room in a different location. Our new room had a slow drain in the shower, which happens all the time at hotels, so NBD, and a call sent someone right up to fix it. Other calls for pillows and towels were all met quickly and cheerfully by the staff. We would definitely stay here again. I took away one star because the $15/day parking fee should be built into the rate, not charged in addition.

One of my favorite hotels. Well maintained, roomy and family friendly. Large rooms with two rooms, a living area and a bed room. There is an animatronic lion in the atrium that roars once an hour on the hour. I did notice however that the staff sometimes forgets to turn the lion on. So if he does not roar at the top of the hour, ask the staff about it and they will turn him on.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. They have extra large rooms with a 'bump out' for a small premium, but the regular rooms are plenty big for the average family.
I only have two complaints about the room:
One, there is no electrical outlet near the bed. Also no USB chargers built into the desk lamps. The outlet closest to the bed is behind the mattress. You have to pull the mattress back to access it, which is a room design flaw.
Two, the couch in the living room has uncomfortable cushions. The cushions are nice, but they will tilt forward and try to drop you on the floor if you veg out in front of the TV. Probably a good thing. :)

We have always stayed at this location anytime we ...
We have always stayed at this location anytime we make a trip to Disneyland. We started with 1 kid and now 3 (so for the last decade, this has been THE PLACE). This has also been THE PLACE we recommend to our families whenever they are looking for a place to stay in Anaheim. The experience during each stay have always been great. However, we will not be coming back. We have booked a stay using the advance purchase option for our upcoming trip in July, but due to a very unfortunate family emergency we are unable to fulfill this stay. This will be our FIRST ever cancellation. Upon calling, we were transferred to talk to the cancellation specialist, who then asked for a $50 cancellation fee and for us to reschedule for another date (up to a year from now June 2019) or we provide proof of the family emergency (an obituary/death certificate). We only get one guaranteed week of vacation in July each year. Any other stays throughout the year is a toss up. So rescheduling would be a great gamble. But can you believe this? Asking us to provide something that personal? I certainly couldn t. Where is the customer loyalty? Are these even humans we are dealing with or robots? We have been loyal Hilton Honors customers and this is how personal they want to get? It is unfortunate, but we cannot full heartedly support a business that lack compassion and the ability to treat people like people : with care and respect.

The conference room was nice, but I do not recommend for professional events. Many families are on vacation due to the proximity to Disneyland so the kids yelling outside could be heard while presentations are given. It would be great if the meeting rooms were blocked off from hotel guests. The general area was filled with kids and tourists milling around in the hallways next to the meeting room.
