Still a really great hotel. Good staff and clean rooms!
Great. Breakfast was good for being a free hotel bfats. Great for the long day aheead at Disney. Big selection and made to order omelettes. Same with happy hour, it was great drinks were ok for being free. Shuttle was great (But you had to pay per day. I wish they would have had an option for a two or three day shuttle pass. It was $40 a day for 7 people. An extra $80 dollars.) Clean and nice staff. Thank you
I'm currently on the phone to submit a formal complaint about the manager who manages this property. Not only was he not helpful in his lack of customer service skills in a managerial position, but he said "perfect" when I proceeded to inform him I was going to leave a poor review of his nasty attitude.
I was overcharged for parking just recently when having booked an expedia booking. The booking included parking & paid everything upfront. Once I brought this to the managers attention, he refunded the parking amount overcharged. However, when I explained my experience of inconvenience to him, his lack of hospitality & poor attitude was disgusting. Quite frankly, I'm surprised he's a manager!
He was sarcastic & crass in the way of which he chose to respond to my complaint. In the hotel business, hospitality is of utmost importance. Rest assured, he'll be receieving an email chain with his name in the complaint to his superiors at corporate.
good breakfast, free drinks and snacks is nice and good service
5 star experience. Great location, with plenty of nearby restaurants as well as a target. Staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast and evening drinks/snacks made this experience even better.
The rooms are very nice, the breakfast, especially the omelets, was disappointing
Like normal, checked out to catch a flight early in the AM and had a hard copy receipt printed. Eventually received an email from my credit card of the amount deducted from hotel and it did not match my hard copy receipt. Now it takes 72 hrs just to get the money they stole back!
Internet has some problems. Wonderful service and breakfast. Nice open rooms
One of my favorite hotels in the area. The breakfast & happy hour offerings are awesome! The rooms are huge. It's surprisingly private and quiet considering the size of the hotel and amount of food traffic. Lots of Disney visitors here but it's chill overall. Glass elevators and water features make this place fun!
Great location near Disneyland, delicious cooked to order breakfast and spacious rooms and views!!
Brilliant hotel, the rooms are spacious and pretty, the only regret for the shower is a bathtub (everyone has their own opinion for that) otherwise the setting for breakfast is just magnificent. I recommend this hotel.
Hotel was excellent! Our room was spotless and staff was terrific. The breakfast and evening cocktail hour is what always draws me back to Embassy Suites but this hotel was wonderful all around.
The service was good but it's beginning to get run down since it's so busy. Needs renovation.
Its really nice and quiet, i studied very well here. Pretty clean except i found a muffin wrapper on the floor by the bed. Reception could be better thats why i give 4 stars. Room service is responsive but forgetful, takes a while and sometimes brings the wrong stuff. Parking is $20 a day! I thought that was a bit much. & Its first come first serve with a restaurant parking lot. Breakfast was good the first day but school lunch the second and third day.
Great room and amenities free breakfast and Happy hour
Everything about this ES was perfection, sans the buffet breakfast. Even though it's "free", the food was cold or lukewarm. The made to order omelette was over done. They obviously place more care and attention to the rooms than the food.
I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the last year most of the people on the front desk are very helpful and have good customer service skills. The only complaint I have is that they have a night manager not sure what her name is only that she is African American lady that lacks any type of customer service skills. I stay in Hilton properties about 75 days a year and this manager is on of the worse one I have ever had to deal with in 40 years of travel. She is arrogant and it seem like she has a chip on her shoulder. I would not let this person have any contact with customer because I have had to deal with her a year ago and she hasn't change a bit. She is still the same Arrogant person.
First, I want to mention that I don't really enjoy hotels, but THIS ONE is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Specially because of the personnel working there, its customer service was the best! I visited from March 29 to April 1, 2017, and they were friendly, and made me feel welcome. Because it was my first time there, and I don't know the city, if I had a question they were ready to answer, and give me tips about it. The free breakfast BUFFET was one of the best I've ever tried in a hotel with a great variety of American food, and the view! I loved the koi pond, the elevator, the lion that I'm pretty sure it moves, the gym, and the free WiFi and "happy hour" too! I don't really drink but it was nice I was able to try the virgin options, and because I was there for 4 days, in a BUSINESS trip, so, I didn't have much to enjoy. Something special that I want to mention it is that my mornings were EXCELLENT, due to the cordiality and friendliness of two excellent waitresses that made me feel like I was home during my breakfast time, mrs. Vicky and mr. Francisco. "Our friendship" begun with a smile, and a question I made about their job, because they really seem to enjoy it! And then they went the extra mile in service, and conversation that I needed, and in my language! At the end of my four-day visit, I even had to ask them to take a picture with me, because I was really going to miss them. And because this hotel is definitely a family oriented hotel, I'm planning to go back in September with my husband and kids for them to meet my "new friends" Francisco and Vicky, and really enjoy the nice facilities, visit the swimming pool, and Disneyland! Thank you.
You can't go wrong with this Embassy Suites. Plenty of parking (not free) the rooms are quiet, and the breakfast chef is fun and fast. My only complaints are the interior is a little old, TVs are low def, and the shower could be hotter. But i have stayed here before and i will stay here again.
Loved the breakfast here, great clean rooms and wonderful staff.
Good Hotel a little bit crowded for the season in general good choice to stay
Parking lot partially closed for construction so space is limited. Cricket Wireless works OK in the meeting rooms.
Incredibly wonderful and helpful staff. The rooms are nice, the beds are very comfortable, and the amenities are fantastic. The shuttle trip to Disneyland is short and runs every half hour. Definitely recommend staying here.
They tried to charge us rate 50 % more then are quoted booking then charged us a % 25 deposit put in the wrong room and made us recheck in 3 times
Conference rooms are easy to access, bathrooms we're clean. The in-house restaurant food was too pricey.
Great hot breakfast. Rooms are clean but basic and older. They put me right across from the elevator so I heard that all night. Staff was nice.
Went to the Serengeti Grill and had the steak sandwich. It was overdone and tasted very bland. Wasn't horrible, but was less quality than I was expecting for the price. The bar gave very good service, though.
Breakfast buffet was good but employee's who run it were not.
The hotel in and of itself was decent. The hot breakfast was nice. The beds were small. The elevators were very loud, you could hear them running all night long. Not to mention 3 of them weren't working, including the service elevator. There were long waits to use the elevator and every time I got in one there was someone from housekeeping in there with a cart full of towels. They were polite but it seemed awkward that we had to maneuver around them and they couldn't effectively do what they needed to service the guests. The reason that I have given them 2 stars is due to their lack of professionalism and customer service. Upon my arrival to the hotel, I had prepaid for my stay ($600) through a 3rd party site Rocketmiles in order to obtain additional rapid reward points. The hotel required a credit card for incidentals which was no problem. Unfortunately for me, my credit card had been compromised and was declined for the $26 parking. On my last night in the hotel, I was notifed of this problem. I immediately contacted my credit card company and they assured me that they would approve the hotel charges. I went to the front desk and encounter the night clerk Bonnie B. And the night manager Gary Johnson who refused to run the card again saying it had been declined twice. I attempted to tell them of the fraud and it had been corrected by the credit card company but they refused. I provided them with another credit card that they claimed was also declined. I contacted that credit card company to find out that the night manager Gary had lied and the card had never been swiped, therefore it had NOT been declined. I went back to the front desk with my credit card company on the phone and they refused to speak with them stating the card was declined there was no reason to speak with the credit card company. After having to use a few unpleasant words they ran the card again and it was approved. Granted, it's not the hotels fault that my credit card was compromised, but there was no reason to be rude and try to humiliate me, or to treat me as if I were trying to cheat them out of $26. I had spent of $2000 in the last 2 days at Disneyland, I could afford $26. This is my 3rd time to Disneyland in the last 8 months. Typically I stay at a neighboring hotel (Residence Inn Marriott). Their accommodations are much better overall. Hot breakfast daily and (dinner during the week) cheaper shuttle service to Disneyland, nicer staff and bigger beds, just to name a few things. But I gave this hotel a chance due to rapid rewards points, and boy do I regret it. This will be the last time I stay at this hotel. I don't care how many rapid rewards points are available. This hotel had the opportunity to be my new "go to hotel" for my annual quarterly trips to Disneyland, but you only get one chance to make a good first impression... and they BLEW IT!!!
The staff at this hotel are very accommodating and greet us with a warm welcome as if we're home. Also, the hotel itself is relaxing and has complete necessities. Our experience at this hotel was superb, and we enjoyed our stay! You guys are the best! I will definitely come back soon for my next trip.
Stayed here for a business trip. Nice hotel. Breakfast is nice and lines move quickly even at peak. Happy Hour is okay. Lots of kids and families staying for Disney. Parking spots are tight for a rental SUV. Room is large and very nice, supposedly newly renovated. If I have to come back to the area, I'd consider staying here again.
The hotel does get busy. Pool was full of kids, evening reception was packed and food went quick, same with breakfast. Omelet station does get a line but it moves. Overall it was a nice stay!
We've stayed her twice now. The beds are not comfortable unless you are a kid and don't weigh much. The buffet is OK. The elevators are crowded. It has a cruise ship feel.
Loud construction noises from a concrete recycle plant next door. Couldn't sleep. Got moved to a different room on the other side of the hotel and still heard it. Noise starts at 5:00 AM
Had a work event. The food was delicious. Highly recommended planning your work functions there.
Great staff, some kids took parking so they sealed it off and reserved spots for guests.
I really liked the food. Service was good. The interior of the hotel was surprisingly nice.
I ve stayed here for my Disneyland trip for 5 summers. I noticed a big decline this year. Love the free breakfast and happy hour, but it s time for a renovation. But most concerning is the dirty parking lot and dead plants in the planters. Used water bottle and discarded bag of tortillas were on a bench and in the lot for the entire 4 days I was there. Area rug in lobby is filthy, hall carpets stretched and stained. Next year I ll stay elsewhere.
I really enjoyed our Guest Srvices, anything we requested they brought to our room very quickly. Everyone gets to have a free breakfast in the morning, has an amazing omelet bar and has a buffet filled with great hot food, yogurt, bread, fruits, cereals, juices, milk, and even soda. The first night we arrived the dinner room had complimentary drinks. Would definitely come back to this hotel. Also not very far from Disneyland.
Loved it! Rooms were great, and so was room service. Breakfast was good as well. Would definitely visit again!
Breakfast was great. Wide variety of everything. I'd definitely return.
Came here for a profesional meeting. There food was above average for hotel. My coworkers stayed in one of there suites here and was I was surprised at how spacious the suite was, it has a bed room and a common area with TV, sofabed and dinning/conference table. The staff is very nice and attentive.
Okay hotel. Only three stars cause I had issue with my check in as they had cancelled my reservation cause I arrived late in the evening even though I mentioned I'd be late on my reservation. Also individuals I was traveling with didn't find the free breakfast tasteful at all.
I am currently stating at the Embassy Suites in Anaheim South for a Thanksgiving get away at Disneyland. My family always chooses Embassy Suites for hotel stays. We enjoy the comfortable beds, friendly service at the front desk and great breakfast options. My only thing is the continuity of stocking breakfast options as well as more staff cleaning tables in the morning. It was a bit frustrating coming down for breakfast and there no available seats due to dishes on the table. other than they everything else is phenomenal!
First class.
The room had a view of the firework show at Disneyland. The complimentary breakfast and snack time were great.
The thing that stood out the most was how friendly and helpful every single staff member was. Above and beyond in every aspect.
Great location, great food, great rooms, good hotel
It is very comfortable and close to Disney..we have a buffet
This is our second time staying here. We had an excellent first visit, this time I'm taking off a star as the quality of breakfast seems to have gone down. Otherwise rooms are clean and the shuttle to Disneyland is great.
Was very disappointed in this location especially being 3 minutes from Disneyland the room I had looked like a glorified Motel 6 not the cleanest, had to get towels ourselves from front desk, the air conditioning didn't work, the fenagled my cash deposit and when we tried to get explanations the supposed manager on duty was very condescending and unprofessional and we left confused on how much we were supposed to get back and hilton customer service was not much help either
The hotel didn't appear noisy & loud considering the amount of people going in & out. The breakfast was amazing... Best way to start your day! The beds super comfy... we would definitely stay again soon!!
The rooms are really nice. The complementary breakfast is really good as well. The location is right next to Disney land. Would definitely recommend staying here.
I attended an event for Brickmania. I don't know if it was from the attendants at the event or the hotel itself, but the floor wasn't cleaned to the standards of the rest of the hotel
For what they charge to stay here I am surprised they don't offer a free shuttle to Disney since they charge extra for parking. They do offer a shuttle but charge $5 a person. It is cheaper to just pay for parking at Disney if you have more than 3 people in your party. The parking sits they have are so narrow so it is almost to impossible to fit a SUV in a parking space. It is a nice hotel but I would not recommend it if you are planning a Disney vacation
Love atmospheric, staff friendly, location, great for event.
Parking too expensive per day! Should be flat rate for entire stay!
Nice hotel ... to far from the resort ... you have to pay for a shuttle to take you. We went for a family reunion and my room was good but my parents room had a leak in the room and it smelled like mold... they did offer for them to change rooms but we had to stay close to each other cause my parents are handicapped . The rooms are spacious though and the free buffet breakfast was good!
I understand the limitations for Covid. But please update your online offerings. It wasn't that I couldn't live without the breakfast buffet, or the coffee maker which was dirty. The staff was kinda snotty about it. That's NOT a covid thing.
Attentive staff. Our safe wasn t working because it needed batteries. We called for maintance and within 10 minutes Santiago was fixing our safe. When we called for additional items the staff was quick, responsive and professional. Thank you for making our stay a fantastic one.
Not enough lighting coming out building toward parking lot. Very narrow parking spaces.
I have stayed at this hotel many times. The rooms are large and clean. TV remote was missing, but promptly replaced for us upon call. Remote was hard to use and change channels. Maybe, low batteries. Every day room was cleaned well. I am happy to recommend this hotel.
OK place . compared to Anaheim hotels probably one of the best. great helpful costumer service
Nice location but the man that checked me in was very bitchy.
Very friendly staff and the free breakfast will save you $$$
Good location to stay when you want to go to Disney Land. Walking to a lot of shoppings near by.
A not so quiet place. Staff is decently friendly. Only liked the bell hop dude, he was nicest out of everyone. Rooms were not entirely clean. B-fast is just plain tasting, but it's free. Like the free drinks from 530 to 730 pm. Caught a good quick buzz for just a few tipped dollars. Rooms are not gorgeous, they are simple and pretty small. I could have found better 90% elsewhere and saved money. Must buy ticket here to get into park an hr early FYI. Charge you for parking daily as well, keep in mind.
Clean and spacious rooms conveniently located near Disneyland, free breakfast included.
Close to Disneyland with its now own shuttle. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. Complimentary breakfast and reception is great.
Beautiful hotel, helpful staff, comfy bed, good breakfast
