Convenient, Disney is just a straight shot north on Harbor Blvd (a long walk if you want to). Waking distance to tons of restaurants, Target, and shopping. Hotel is nice. Gym and 1 elevator were closed for remodeling. Breakfast was the bomb-diggity! Omlette chef and lots of hot food.

Didn't stay overnight, I was there to have brunch with friends from out of town. When I walked in not the security guard nor front desk people acknowledged me which surprised me a bit. However the food was great!

Great location. Walkable to Disneyland, a bit far, but doable, or there's a shuttle service for $6 a day. There's tons of good places to eat in walking distance, buca di beppo is in the same lot, Joe's Italian ice, Roscoe's! Parking lot is small though, so on busy times it's almost impossible to find parking.

Embassy Suites needs to hire a new receptionist that doesn't discriminate based on the language customers speak. If you work at a hotel, you can very well expect non English speakers. A good receptionist would have tried using google translate, or even asking a coworker that speaks Spanish, yet she chose to turn away customers.

Given the location (safety concerns) there are cameras on all floors. Nice features are the cooked to order breakfast and electronic key check in (functioned). Vistas of the Santa Ana River Trail brought back memories of engineering amelioration.

Great walking trails on the Santa Ana River Trail and if one is thirsty then drinks (alcoholic and otherwise) are provided along with popcorn and vegetables with ranch dip is offered---nightly cocktail reception---on the main floor (north). Anaheim PD patrols here so safety was insured.

Iron work is of merit, check out the custom work on the railings, clean windows and delightful pool---south side---and outdoor patio with umbrellas and lounge chairs. Nice experience overall and sound proof windows. Thanks for fruit and water on the check in amenities.

This place is me and the mrs second home, we come here at least once a month(We have disney annual passes), its such a nice budget Vacation. You check in and relax in your room for a few hours, then take a trip down to reception where you have FREE alcohol, which is served by the bartender Alex(love that guy) and Snacks(changes all the time, except for their chips and salsa, thats a main stay, and the salsa is one of the best ive had, its like mama juela's making it in the back). After you've had a few, its off to disneyland via shuttle($5 per day). After all that fun its off to bed in your Two room(one Bedroom and a living area) suite for the night. When you wake up in the morning to the smell of bacon(and the sound of children, but hey...its disneyland). the whole downstairs area was built just for the free breakfast, so much to choose from(its not gourmet, but it's not bad at all, and cooked to order). The Staff is Awesome and other then a few hiccups here and there(which happens at all hotels at some point), the place is great and the price is affordable(very affordable). Hope this helps

Went to the bar/restaurant to meet some people. Bartender didn't know the menu at all. From there we had 3 different waiters that kinda made us feel like we were being rushed out, even though we were the only people there.

Stayed 2 nights for RECongress 2016, everything was perfect! The breakfast was fantastic and the walk to the Anaheim convention center was just right. Couldn't ask for better service, well worth the stay!!

The hotel rooms are very clean and spacious. For four of us in a room with 3 beds, it's not bad at all. Amazing complimentary breakfast as well. A little far from places you would like to go though.

It's a standard Embassy Suites with a beautiful atrium and water feature. The front desk staff were courteous and a pleasure despite our 2am check-in time. Our room was quiet and comfy, with plenty of space for my husband and I. We woke up early to get down to breakfast in the atrium which consisted on a custom omelette and the standard breakfast buffet items -all tasty! On our last visit here we used the pool area which was outside, but kept clean and tidy. This is our favorite place to stay for Disney trips since it's convenient, affordable and includes breakfast and the staff have always been a pleasure to interact with.

So this is my second time staying at Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim South. This is my number one favorite hotel to stay at when visiting Disneyland or Disney California Adventure the staff at check-in we're very friendly and it was easy and no hassle. We ended up staying on the third floor- there are up to 14 floors. Each room is amazing. Every room is a suite at this hotel, so you practically feel like royalty.

We are annual Disneyland vacationers. As Hilton Honors Diamond members, we have stayed at alot of Hilton properties. This year, we moved our seven-night reservation from the Orange location to the South location because of the shuttle, which by the way is amazing! We have been very happy with our stay in a fireworks suite. Our suite is nice, albeit a bit outdated. The beds are super comfortable, including the pull out couch. The kitchenette (microwave/mini refrigerator) is nice. Our family is also digging having two televisions. Our bathroom needs some help, it has a bit of black mold and a dirty fan . My only other comment is that I think the furniture should be secured to the wall for earthquakes, it is clear that our wardrobe had moved in the recent quake. We have enjoyed breakfast each morning, and I can tell you as a black coffee drinker, they make a great cup! I do find it a bit odd that there is a sign about limiting straws because of the environment next to the styrofoam to-go cups at breakfast. Overall, we have enjoyed Embassy Suites South. We plan to return.

Me and my wife stayed here for our first year anniversary and WILL NEVER BE BACK. Starting off with the staff who seem to not know how there charges work!!! I was told that the money was being held until check out, little to my knowledge they had charged my account and over drafted my bank account and with still pending charges by the end of my stay we were close to 900$ over drafted. To make matters worse our Toilet backed up and took TWO phone calls and a 45 min wait to get this fixed. Now after having to wait the weekend with NO MONEY except for a small amount of cash, management did comp us dinner for one night and cover our parking. Staff was unwilling to try and help with any other changes or make our stay more convenient at all. After calling my bank on the drive home, they had confirmed that my account was CHARGED on our CHECK-IN date, and there were no HOLDS of any kind. Me and my wife were very disappointed and will not be returning to this hotel EVER.

Amazing views of disneyland. you can see the fireworks from some of the rooms. It was beautiful from ours. The staff was amazing, they took care of us. I can't recommend this place enough.

I run a lot of disneyland races and this is always my go to hotel. Location is great, sometimes it's along the course of a run so it's easy for my boyfriend to spectate the race. And as soon as I finish my run and take the shuttle back to the hotel I get breakfast :) very convenient. Love this place

I had to work a banquet. You can imagine... the hotel it's not pinpoint on google maps. It takes to the address location but it doesn't tell you are arriving to EMBASSY SUITES.

I accidentally booked this hotel while trying to book a hotel in Garden City MI. I called the hotel as soon as I discovered the issue. I explained it to the woman who answered the phone. Gotcha! there was no way that she was going to let me out of this reservation despite the innocent mistake. I am a LIfetime Diamond member and tried to appeal to her as a very loyal Hilton Member. Nope - wasn't going to happen. I begged, I pleaded. No way. She claimed to be one of the managers. I asked to speak to the General Manager - she promised me that he would call me back. It is now 13 days and counting - no call. It is clear to me that the General Manager sets the tone for service by the people he/she hires, the policies that he/she sets, and the commitments that he/she keeps. The poor culture cascades down to the employees.

I'm sad to give this, usually love embassy suites. Original room given away our preference ignored toilet and shower problems, sofa bed so uncomfortable felt every spring. Positives.... Breakfast was amazing and staff that area too.

Don't get a room across from the elevator doors, you'll hear them all night... You can also ask for a room facing the 9:30pm fireworks. At happy hour get a free gin and tonic, mine was the best I've ever had. Breakfast was perfect

Great staff! When we arrived extra late at night die to flight delays, our room was upgraded to a corner King suite. The room itself was spacious and comfy with a fantastic view of Disney's fireworks (if you happened to be in your room). One complaint is that the night stands in our room did not have any power outlets nearby, so we had to leave our phones charging on a desk across the room. Don't know if this oddity is limited to the king rooms or not.

The rooms were clean and nice, but there was practically no water pressure in the bathroom sink, the pull-out bed was miserable, and the breakfast was abundant, but solidly mediocre.

Great clean property, friendly staff and fantastic amenities including full breakfast and afternoon snacks. Shuttle runs to Disneyland and proximity to numerous restaurants and shopping have made this the hotel of choice for our family for numerous years.

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel special. The rooms are nice size and updated. The beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and a great way to start your day. It's close to a lot of attractions and restaurants, most notably Disneyland. I was in town on business for a few days and it was like a home away from home. Great job Embassy suites!

We are Hilton Honor members (gold) and stay at Hilton hotel just about every weekend. I am totally dissapointed in this hotel. For starters, upon checking in, the guy at the desk was rude to my husband. We booked a room on the Hilton honor app and had a confirmation and the man told us that he couldn't give us that price. That it was going to be 30 dollars higher because we had two adults and not one (we forgot to change that on the app). The two adults are sharing the same bed so who cares. Then we book it again on the app with two adults and it's the same as our original quote. We check in and while signing the paperwork, my husband let's him know that we have a trailer and was wondering where is the best place to park with it. He then says that it will be 20 to park it each night. My husband flips out. He had already paid for our vehicle to be parked each night. The trailer is attatched to the vehicle. He finally states that he won't charge the extra 20 a day. Then what happens, we get our bill with two charges of 20 for rv/trailer parking. As for the room, as soon as we get in there, the AC is broke. They sent a man up to switch it out with another one. Took 1 hour. It worked overnight then the next morning it was broke again. We call and complain because of the price we paid per night and we're supposed to get a free upgrade room for being HH members. They aren't willing to accommodate for the trouble but rather ask us to pack and switch rooms. I decline because we are supposed to be somewhere and don't have time for that. So they send someone to replace it again with another AC . the breakfast was not good. The hotel grill is overpriced. $8 for a peanut butter and jelly... I think not. We have been treated like crap while being here. They don't have good customer service and the rooms for the price are not right. We will be staying else where for now on. If the Hilton allows their hotels to treat members like this, we will be switching to another hotel family.

Me and my family have stayed here several times. There is a shuttle to Disneyland. Great selection of restaurants. Happy hour with alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages. Appetizers are also included. Breakfast was fresh, great selection. No fee for parking. Clean rooms.

Parking is too tight. But inside is nice, except it is too cold in here all the time! It is beuatiful with nice choice of ballroom, seminar facilities, etc. Great computer room for guests. You can print there too.

We spent six nights here, running from July 28 to August 3rd. This was our second stay here, with our first being in June, 2011.

Overall, we were very pleased. The room fit us well (we had four of us), and we appreciated having two TVs to watch. I personally found the beds to be some of the most comfortable I've slept in. My wife and I shared one of the full beds and we were quite comfortable.

Additionally, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues with things like the AC and refrigerator in the room not working properly. These were addressed very quickly and to our satisfaction.

I did, however, notice some things that had deteriorated since our last visit eight years ago. In 2011, the hotel seemed very tidy, neat, and clean. This time, there seemed to be a number of things that have been neglected. Hallway carpets (at least on the lower floors) were dirty and stretched out. The same fingerprints were on the walls of the glass elevators during our stay. Chipped tiles, leaking faucets, dirty dishes sometimes left in hallways gave the impression of the hotel being "run down" in some ways.

One employee mentioned to us that a renovation was forthcoming, and I'm sure it will be very much welcomed.

Would we stay here again? Yes! Overall, our experience was very good. If the hotel can get the "detail items" I've noted above taken care of, this will be a near perfect place to stay.

Update: Went back to check the filters a few days ago, still disgusting! THE AIR CONDITIONER FILTERS ARE SO FILTHY THAT YOU ROAST ON ANY FLOOR ABOVE 10. THE ELEVATORS ARE SO SLOW IT IS BETTER TO STAY ON THE LOWER FLOORS.

We have stayed here many times in the past. With Covid-19, we have been super careful to socially distance as much as possible while traveling. There was a large party going on the room next to us and there were several guest complaints until they finally stopped at 4:30am. The hotel was empty, so to have a party next to us was very disappointing. We went to the front desk for our grab and go breakfast that was offered at check in. The manager proceeded to tell us that we only had one name on our guest room even though there were five of us together when we checked in. She would only give us one breakfast. I complained about the party next to us and her only reply was, I am already aware. No apologies. Adriana was the supervisor on duty and very rude. I don t plan to come back to this hotel anytime soon.

Booked a room for the weekend and I have no complaints here, though I wish the shower was better. But the king size bed was by far the best thing about the room. Super comfortable, I almost took it with me
