Terrible service as the VVE, unanswered emails for months, you can never get hold of your property manager. In the annual meeting they lie about plans of things to be cleaned and fixed but this never happens.

It is unbelievable that Eigen Haard can call itself a housing cooperative and abuse its position in view of the housing shortage in Amsterdam. They literally leave tenants in the cold.

Since June 2018 my CV is not working properly and during the winter I hardly had any heating in my house, let alone a warm shower. For example, I shower with neighbors or friends because of an emergency.

Even after Breman visited 18 times in the last six months, they were unable to solve the problem structurally. I have now submitted 8 complaints via the website but I do not receive any responds. I ask for a compensation proposal, but I don't get this. I would be called back, but this does not happen either. Promise to promise, but nothing is being realized.

I really don't have a good word to say about the impossibly thick concrete wall that Eigen Haard erects. You can't get through it. Take your responsibility, help and compensate your tenants in this situation.

Nobody is going to rent their house at Eigen Haard because of my review, because abuse of the dominant position is being used and people have no choice. If you have the choice, find another landlord who does his best for his tenants. I don't have a good word for Eigen Haard.

Normally I am quite satisfied with Eigen Haard. The inside of the houses could use a makeover, but social rent.
Just like a few years ago, Eigen Haard chooses to restore the balconies in the spring / summer. That is annoying; last time I was in scaffolding for 9 weeks without using the balcony and with a cloth under my nose, but now it is a disaster in the Corona crisis. The motto is to stay indoors. The balcony is your only chance to sit in the sun and enjoy. Last time I worked at school and went outside on weekends. They have again engaged Painting Holland for this. They had made mistakes in the carpeting last time and it had to be redone twice. The workers start around 9 and stop around 3 pm and breaks in between. Of course, that does not work. We sat with scaffolding for 10 days without them starting.
You would say continue working, this time you can be happy that you have work.
Own fireplace does not answer because of the Corona .... at school we had simply forwarded the phone to the administration at home, so you remain accessible. Easy. There is no response to emails.
I am very disappointed at the moment.

In addition, internally within the organization there seems to be complete miscommunication between departments. Absolute advice.
To conclude positively: repairs are quickly responded to (experience based on +/- 2 requests in the past 4 years)

Virtually no telephone call or e-mail is responded to, call-back requests are not honored, and NO ONE can be reached. I wonder if there are people working at all with this landlord, who really should be ashamed of their heads to let people get stuck in the mess.

I called last Tuesday because of a defective intercom installation. The engineer arrived on Wednesday and clearly told me that this cannot be made unless a + cable goes to all residents (apparently this has already been removed and therefore we cannot use the intercom) or the new intercom system must be installed. I called on Friday and told me that the manager is not there. He would be there on Monday. I just called and was told it wasn't going to be made that quickly (and the manager wasn't there). Unfortunately, but I receive mail almost every day and I receive visitors who have to call via their mobile.

I just spoke to a colleague and I clearly told that the problem cannot be solved. I find this very unfortunate that repairs are dealt with so laxly. I now have a bell that doesn't work (and my neighbors). I will purchase my bell myself and you will receive the bill. I also recorded the conversation where the employee clearly says that nothing can be done. I also find it very lax from a company as its own that the new phones are not even ready yet. I would expect a professional company to have prepared this months in advance. But unfortunately that is not the case.

If you are not a millionaire and cannot buy a house in A'dam, please do yourself a favor and don't rent a house at Eigen Haard. Saves you a lot of misery and stress. Never (but really never) experienced such poor customer service. There are 0 direct lines. You always have to go through customer service and you get a different story every time. The G.A. review van S. seems very familiar to me. Writing letters makes no sense at all. You do not get a response or only after a few months. Eigen Haard hides behind customer contact employees who naturally have 0 mandate. When you call, there is extensive consultation while you are on hold, but transfer to a person who can actually help you with your problem (or at least make decisions). It is casually reported that you cannot be helped. Point. Without any hesitation. While this issue (lack of housing) has been going on for a year and we pay our rent properly, mind you. Empathy is hard to find. They could use a customer contact training just fine. The entire housing association. They have never heard of acting proactively. Sit back and wait for the tenant to come. That is their course of action. Very exhausting. Can't wait until I get rid of this issue, but not before Eigen Haard has apologized and received a monetary compensation.

De Ruiter is the person who deals with the home exchange whereby she needs to test the home exchange against the requirements of the law for an agreement or a rejection, but she does not even have a legal background to be able to make a correct decision at all . Nobody is supervising this yet. Bad !!!

6 months later Someone else has taken over the business who knows what it is and knows legally what he is talking about. She has now approved the home exchange. Unfortunately because of the long road to get there (6 months from the day of the application) the other candidate is now in a divorce and they want to abandon the exchange for now. :(

This while we have been looking for a right home for exchange for years !! Everything is now thanks to Eigen Haard's level of expertise! incompetent people and poor internal policies.
