If you are looking for student accomodation in Groningen, we highly recommend 123Wonen for their knowledge of the local market and professionalism in dealing with our request.
We have high praise for Selma Karakaya, the 123Wonen consultant who handled our request, for the friendly and competent manner in not only securing our accomodation, but also in her afther sales attention and guidance in answering to our various requests, mainly regarding local municipal by-laws.

These people are not recommended. As a foreigner, you are discriminated against and bullied. Very rude and arrogant. There is no reply to mails. With calls you are only put off.

If you want everything that can go wrong from start to finish, from Funda data to transfer to current contract - and everything in between - 123Wonen Groningen is your address. Well meant but aimed at mass and you notice that. Casual and lackluster. Not keeping to agreements. Not customer oriented. Sloppy is the key word.

With 123wonen Groningen we had an amazing experience. My couple and I were looking for a house, we saw a post, send some emails and in about 2-3 days we were ready to move! The company was very honest and reliable. Good and easy communication and they replied to all our questions. No problem with dealing with an English speaker. No "special-barely legal-fees" required. In general, everything was smooth and easy!

One of the most student-unfriendliest agencies I've ever seen. Earning 3 times as much as the rental cost would be as a requirement to rent an apartment is absolutely insane. Therefore, no student will ever be able to rent a normal apartment. Not even with the guarantee of the parents payslip... Never again!

It is a decent agency that takes care of everything for you from thinking about renting a house until handling you the keys (free of charge on your end). for me as an international student It was important to deal with a company I can trust (there are a lot of fraud cases in Groningen). So good luck with finding a nice room in Groningen.

Pleasant rental agent! I recommend 123Wonen Groningen (I am a tenant). 4.5 / 5. Pleasant and usually quick contact. The brokers actively think along and act quickly and adequately when you qualify for a rental home. It helps if you also have a flexible attitude and that you are carefully and extensively applying for your first application. You will of course notice that 123Wonen Groningen is also busy (high demand, short turnaround time for the supply of homes) and that certain mails are standardized or a response comes later, but that did not bother me.

I think 123 women is the best in comparison by other real estates in Groningen. They are supportive, friendly and accurate. My wife is an international student in Groningen and we were trying to rent a house from our country before coming to the new place. I do not know why but apart from the 123 women, others does not help us to rent a property.
I suggest 123 women from the all aspects. Thank you guys and I hope you the best and luck.

Hello everyone!

this 1 star is because on every review below 5 stars they react in a unprofessional way. They state names of girlfriends/boyfriends of the person who they are having a dispute with. Furthermore they also specify certain ins/outs of the disputes...... hello general data protection regulation??(GDPR)

to make a long story short; Aggresive approach, calling people out in a odd way, intimidation and more... these are the tools of this company.

My tip;
every company sometimes has trouble with costumers...its the duty of the company to handle it professionaly and discretely. Please stop the 'odd' approach. We're all here to learn. Everyone make mistakes. Adjust, adept and overcome.

this is my opinion.

Professional and fast service, comply with agreements and think along with the customer. Good photos, and good informative text where the plus points of the house were well emphasized. Furthermore, 123 living is easily accessible, and communication is going very well. I can recommend 123 living to anyone.

Communication was easy and timely. As an expat moving over, they were really helpful and as I don't speak Dutch, I was grateful that they communicated with me in English.

Impossible to get an appointment to look at an apartment with them. Tried for 2 weeks or more. Everything was rented by the time I got an answer. They should update their listings more often. Dealing with this agency was as painful as a tooth extraction.
