Initially they gave my room that I booked from Expedia away to someone else. The breakfast is not free and wifi is for show only. Staff is courteous and friendly though. Building looks amazing but there is no view. Not even on any corner rooms

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My suite was very nice and comfortable. The lobby was so beautiful. The staff was very kind and pleasant, and they had excellent customer service. There was a little noise in the hall and I could slightly hear doors slamming but it wasn't a big deal. I didn't get a chance to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant but I was told the food is great! I would stay here again.
Fantastic location in the suburbs of Toronto. Has several Tesla superchargers for electric cars. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Parking is ample and free.
Second time staying at this hotel and the room cleanliness is very good. Location is close drive to most places in Markham. Service has been speedy and professional
Very good hotel with large rooms, location in the suburb, within walking distance is nothing to achieve and invites not to stroll, facilities, fantastic gallery in the lobby, good bar with craft beer selection, restaurant is very very good with great international dishes. Had a perfect, juicy pork cutlet on Asian vegetables - what you do not get in Germany in this quality at this price about 15 . Breakfast international with Platzuweisung, with high rush short wait, but top service and a lot of staff.
I attended a holiday party at one of the conference room. The atmosphere is very mediocre. The food was below average. My comoany actually held a party at the same location 2 years ago. The food quality remained the same and did not improve. The staff and services were great. It's just the environment in the hotel and food were quite underwhelming
Attended the conference centre for a meeting. Room was huge and well equipped with tables, chairs and technology, food and drinks were always replenished throughout the day. Well organized and on time. The only comment I would have is the reception staff was not well informed about which hall my meeting was to be in and misdirected me, until someone finally directed me to the right floor.
The room i was in was really clean but it also looked beautiful! The only other place i was in was the bathroom, it was super clean and looked fantastic
Went there for a corporate conference and they would not issue a wifi password because I was not staying at the hotel. I can go to McDonald's for free wifi but I can't get it at the Hilton...what a joke!

I didn't stay in any of the rooms but the conference services were excellent. The food was good (not amazing, but acceptable) and the staff was very courteous and professional.
We did not get the room we requested/reserved and the front desk just passed the buck to central booking. Very poor customer service. Also it took them almost an hour to get the crib to our room. Not worth the money.
Great staff and service. Fabulous hotel fitness center. Nice spacious rooms. Quality bar and restaurant in the lobby. Very nearby the IBM lab building and convenient from the Toronto airport for quick trip in and out of town. Would recommend for anyone going to Markham.
Fast and friendly service. They did not let me use their EV charging station as it's only available to valet service users. Which I think is a stupid policy. Otherwise it's a great hotel.
The staff were pleasant and helpful, even though I arrived at 1AM. The facility is beautiful and modern, and the rooms are all recently renovated. There's a separate bedroom and living area in each room, allowing two people to comfortably share space.
The Hilton Markham is a beautiful hotel. I highly recommend staying here if you have business in the area.
Room very spacious, comfortable and clean. Little gift shop was great with pleasant staff. Room service was prompt however food was hit and miss. Appetizers good but will not order steak again missed that 2 times. Customer service did offer me free dessert which made me happy but lost appetite so it was wasted on me. Rating just on the stay would be a 5 however the food hurt my experience.
We stayed for 3 nights. Loved the upgrade to executive suite and enjoyed the spacious setup. However, the hotel is badly in need to strengthen its maintenance team. The first night we need to call the maintenance guy to come to replace the battery of the safe. At the same time, the noisy exhaust fan kept us awake. When we reported the problem the next night, the maintenance guy told us he was aware of the problem but could do nothing because he was on his own and could not fix the issue. When we complained to the manager and requested for a room change, the exhaust fan was turned off for the night.
Horrible service from the bar staff. I arrived early for an event and sat at the bar. Ordered a coke.. after a little while waiter comes back and ask what other drink I want. I said no more and she said then I have to leave the bar area if i don't order any more... why?!? The function venue was great but the wait staff was rude and very unprofessional. What an embarrassing staff for a nice hotel. If I wanted a nice function for my business, it wont be here just by the staff. Great hotel, poor services... they need to retrain.
I was there for the Christmas dinner buffet. Food was just barely at par for its listed $60 pp price. The only item I would consider close to hotel quality was the roast beef. 90% of the hot food was just plain room temperature. Each refill of the salad bar and dessert tables showed signs of less condiments. Servers were either very eager to get off work or they had nothing better to do caused they took my plates away mutilple times when I just simply turned my face to talk to my friends when there were still food on my plate. I would definitely not go back for any festive meals.
The Hilton Markham Suites helped make this COVID brides bridal shower dreams come true. We ended up at the Hilton after my original bridal shower venue cancelled on me in March when things were starting to look bad. The coordinator there was friends with Astrid at the Hilton. My deposit was seamlessly transferred between venues, and Hilton was willing to honour the original pricing from my first venue and offer an almost identical set up and menu. When my already postponed shower had to be postponed again due to the lockdown, Astrid moved my deposit to a date in October. When it became clear that my October shower was also not going to be possible, the Hilton offered to allow me to use my deposit as a house credit. I was able to have a micro shower at their restaurant, and got to use the deposit to treat my group of 20 to the delicious buffet brunch and bottomless mimosas. Even though it was in the restaurant, they gave us a more private area, allowed us to set up decorations and a gift table, and were totally attentive to our every need. My guests were very impressed and I cannot say enough good things about how Astrid, Saif and their teams handled my neverending postponements. Hopefully when we can all return to normal life, I can host my "big" shower at the Hilton and show everyone what great hosts they are!
Went to their afternoon tea. The selection was limited, but the items were tasty. I would recommend the savory more than the sweet. Chicken salad sandwich and shrimp filled croissants are good. Tea is red rose. Service was acceptable.
So very disappointed with this hotel I posted a review few months back First of all the reply a month later And when i do email them as i was asked no response at all. I tried emailing them again and still no response. Why post a reply with an email adress if you are not willing to respond back to an email.
I used to like the hilton but after this treatment Never againnnn

3 months ago on Google The reception staff are super freindly Was there for a week and kinda disappointed with few things First of all we were supposed to have king suite but we ended up with 2 double beds.... They discounted the parking for us which was nice of them.... Then we had an issue with towels...they were dirty few times...it looks like they were not being changed ...just folded and put back....we spoke to the reciption about it and as an apology they fully took off the cost of parking for the week. Another issue was the water in the middle of the shower the water was getting hot and less not sure why. At a hotel like this these issues shouldn't happen With all that being said i still liked the service of staff they were nice and responded to the issues quickly But i dont think i would come back to this hotel again

I m here for the Norwex National Conference. No recycling in my room, the shower is dirty and broken: the shower head does not hold up and always falls to the floor, and a lot of hair to the floor before my first shower. Black hand marks on the bathroom door. The bathroom air exchanger is not working. Otherwise, employee service is courteous.
Nice place, would stay here again, but the in house restaurant was way over priced and too fancy for a hotel restaurant which I think is why it was mostly empty our whole 3 night stay.
