Attended a conference at the hotel. The venue was great, very nice. We had no issue finding the conference building or set up the booth. Dinner was served and food was good. Nothing went empty, there was a lot of food to serve everyone.

Not bad spot. A bit confusing if taking an uber. Make sure you enter parralell to route 7.

Ok rooms. The eating is pretty nice. What I liked the most is the full gym. Check in- out pretty smooth. The TV selection is weak but HDMI cables made things bearable after I hooked up my laptop and watched on big screen

Very nice, clean rooms, with modern technology and decor. Formal and inviting front hall and front desk staff. Issues with the wifi range and complexity to log in. Small issue with TV remote that maintenance could not fix. Near many amenities.

We attended the Conference Centre for a wedding reception. It was gorgeous.
The lobby has an open concept and feels very inviting. The bar is quite large and can entertain quite a few standing patrons at one time.

It's the only area of the centre that offers free WiFi.

The banquet hall we were in was beautiful and accommodated approx. 150 of us. Plenty of room and space to mingle.

The staff were great and very friendly.

I would recommend this place to anyone who's planning a reception or any type of large group event ( this was also the place where they held the PC Leader event).

I attended a professional meeting in a medium sized room in the basement. Breakfast was server which was nice. The hotel was easy to find, there was plenty of parking space, which was free only because we attended an event, otherwise it's paid parking only in front of the hotel.

I am a gold member and know that breakfast is free. But I was thinking of the children's morning because I accompanied my children on this trip. So I booked a room where I could use the lounge. But when I arrived, I couldn't use the lounge and instead I got two meal coupons, a drink coupon, and an appetizer coupon? Then what about our children's breakfast? Did the staff at the hotel think the lounge access could be replaced with these coupons? I asked for a complaint later and got two more breakfast coupons, but I was sorry for this service. And most importantly, there was no notice at the time of booking that the lounge was not available. And gold members don't have room upgrades now?

We stayed here on stage 2 night. Great customer service, and appreciate the caution taken by the staff to keep everyone safe. The price was reasonable I found and the rooms were very clean. I will stay again.!!

Glorious huge lobby with bar. Massive workout area that I unfortunately did not get a chance to visit. Hotel layout is a little inconvenient. Room nice in that it had two rooms but felt very cramped. Kitchen in room.

The hotel is beautiful and modern. The reception and service was average and not, as one would expect for a four star hotel top notch. Rooms are spacious and clean and well appointed. The bathrooms are rather small but clean. Room service food was above average but not great. Truly disappointing was that room service shuts down at 11 pm. All in all a very nice hotel but needs work to be a true four star experience.

My fiancee and I were looking for a place where we could both get ready, and have our ceremony. We wanted to minimize running around and the Hilton Markham fit the bill.

We booked a room 8 months from our wedding day, and I was really looking forward to the Hilton Markham, as it was close by to our banquet hall, and for a hotel was quite nice. I had really wanted to like the Hilton Markham, and had high expectations - but due to a couple of snags I unfortunately can not give a full 5 star review.

Our coordinator from start to finish was awesome (Lorraine Shum - she deserves 5 out of 5 stars). Unfortunately there were a few things that came up that were beyond her control.

One week before our wedding, we were informed that the hotel would be undergoing "minor renovations" for the front lobby. The large open space was one of the main reasons we liked the hotel in the first place, and while we were dissapointed, I was still optimistic that it wouldnt be that bad.

Come day of when we arrived, the entire front lobby was sealed off with plastic and large construction walls - rendering the entire area utterly unusable for any sort of photos/video. Also due to the construction, our videographer had to get creative as when we were talking you would randomly hear a drill or a saw going on in the background.

I have NO clue whos bright idea it was to plan a 3 week construction project at the beginning of Sept when its still VERY busy for weddings. There were 3 other weddings happening that day there. I feel bad for the other couples that had their full reception there to deal with all that. There is an "off season" for maintenance such as this.

Our ceremony room for some reason seemed to NOT have any form of air circulation. I had asked one of the staff to turn up the AC but everyone in the room was still uncomfortably warm. After the ceremony everyone ran for the water station.

Lastly, during our photoshoot we had wanted to take some photos inside the hotel - basically the main reason why we booked the hotel in the first place. During our photoshoot there was an individual that was lingering around, maybe just a gawker. But then this individual came to my wedding party and told us that we had to LEAVE since we were not allowed to take photos.

My wedding party had to spend time explaining that we just got MARRIED UPSTAIRS and we were absolutely allowed to take photos.

We were not disrupting anyone or in anyones way whatsoever. After a brief discussion, this individual had to "talk to the front desk". After a bit of back and forth he informed us he would "give us another 5 minutes".

I was only informed of this after our photoshoot but this really annoyed me. From what I was told this individual worked for the Hilton with a name tag.

We had 4 rooms booked for more then 1 night, got married upstairs, and given the construction was forced to use one of the side hallways and to STILL be interrupted and "warned" that we were not allowed to take photos is why I have to dock a few stars. Its not one single event, none of the things I mentioned were "catastrophic" but overall this experience failed to meet my expectations.

I do not blame our coordinator as she was on the ball from start to finish and these were circumstances beyond her control.

The construction, the circulation in our ceremony room, and the individual that so rudely interrupted our photo session were all things beyond our coordinator's control - but given its the Hilton I really was dissapointed.

For anyone else looking to use this location for a ceremony location I would highly advise to ASK what other events may be happening on your big day to avoid issues. Events AND construction. And to also make sure to tell your coordinator to tell the front desk that you will be there taking photos on your big day to avoid any aggravation.

Despite these short comings I would still recommend the Hilton - as Lorraine is really THAT good and organized. The Hilton is very lucky to have her to compensate for their other short comings.

The location is perfect, to accessed the hotel at different angles. The workers were very courteous and helpful. They treated us like we were their only guests. Lots and lots of parking. The parking for the overnight guests are completely separated. There are coverage for those parkings. I would definitely go back also recommend this hotel anyone for their next stay. Keep you the good work. Absolutely, absolutely incredible service.

Hotel in itself is stunning, our experience however wasn't. I do wedding photography and a majority of my clients day starts at the hotel and there has never been an issue with permits or ever even needing one if you were staying at the hotel. This was the only location that did not allow photography without a permit and the security person actually jumped in front of the camera to prevent us from taking any shots for our client. This was for an out of town client who had his entire wedding party, his family and extended family residing at the hotel at that time. I am ashamed at the level of service and professionalism showed by the Hotel and it's staff to it's guests. My hope is that the hotel realized what they did and apologized for their ridiculous behavior to their guest.

Check in was smooth. Room reservation was in order. A seating area and small office area besides a King size bed and bathroom. Very spacious indeed and functional. High marks for the room.

The bath amenities are good and the bathroom is well appointed with a walk in shower. Mirror fogs up even with a 5 minute shower. Not cool. Ventilation is poor in the bathroom.

WiFi is a bit shaky with having to sign in each day which is a bit of a nuisance.

They do not provide coffee in the lobby area even at breakfast time. This is pathetic and not consistent with the industry.

Tried calling the front desk to ask a question at around 5pm. Phone rang for about 3 minutes with no one answering. Finally the person that did answer promptly placed me on hold without even asking who I was. I was on hold for another 3 minutes and finally just hung up. Pathetic service. Highly unprofessional.

Checkout was prompt. They had emailed my Receipt to me so all I had to do was hand in the keys and walk out.

The Hilton hotel is very clean. The prices are competitive. The regular room with king size bed are enough big and confortable for 2 peoples. All the conference rooms can accept easily all type of corporate event. I always go there when I have to be in Markham.
