The customer service at EcoMark Solar is fantastic. There were a few hiccups with the original loan, since I was doing a reroof and the solar afterwards. I was very impressed with the whole process. The installers were very professional. Any time delays in the process were from waiting on permits (in other words it was out of Ecomark's hands).

Ecomark has a pretty seamless process for solar. Once everything was going the installation wasn't bad. Everyone was super nice to work with. I'm adding to this review 2 years in. Be very CAREFUL if you are in a co-op electric company. Our sales person did not explain this to us and our electric bill plus the solar panels monthly payment is about equal to what we were paying before. We are currently working with them to remove and reinstall the panels so we can get our roof replaced and the wait is over a month to get it done. Just things I didn't really think about when we decided to go solar.

We've been interested in going solar for awhile. Heading into 2019 we knew the time was right, as it's the last year of the 30% federal tax credit. After getting the proposal from EcoMark, I crunched the numbers under a more "pessimistic" scenario an assumption of flat electricity prices and found that we'd still come out ahead financially over 20 years, on the assumption that net metering from Xcel Energy will persist. So we pulled the trigger! Installation went smoothly, and a month later our system was up and running. Within the first week of operation in mid-March (which included a snowstorm day with zero production), we were already a net energy producer, with our solar panels producing more than we consumed! We're glad we went with EcoMark, a reputable and local Colorado company. And we're happy we went solar, to help reduce carbon emissions while also saving our family money in the long term! I'll be encouraging friends & neighbors to go solar with EcoMark, too.

Everyone with the company that i had the privileged of working with were awesome from Sales, to Project management to the Installers! The consistently had an open line of communication and were very accommodating with the several changes we made during the way...

Positive experience start to finish. Katie Haynes and everyone involved always were available to answer my questions. They kept me informed about the progress of the plans, inspections, when the installation would be done etc. without being prompted.

The staff are professional, timely, and communicative from start to finish. I felt like I had friends who cared about me on my side and walking me through the whole process.

Ecomark has been a good company to work with. The install is neat and clean and the crew was very professional. The only complaint we have is that it seemed like we kept falling through the cracks and only moved forward when we reached out to the company.

Unfortunately, with the exception of the person who came to our door, the Ecomark staff I interacted with really put the full court press hard sell on me. It was pretty unpleasant and will be looking for an assessment from another company.

Ecomark provided timely and friendly service. This was completed from initial meeting to installation very quickly. The personnel were knowledgeable and answered all questions along the process.

Scheduled an appointment a week and a half out with a rep that came to my door. She was really friendly and informative. I only got one call after that (during 9-5 'normal' work hours, and to discuss nothing really that important) and nobody showed up at the scheduled time. I even took off work since I figured businesses can handle keeping appointments or at least calling to inform their customers that they aren't going to make it. If/when I decide to go solar, it will not be with EcoMark.

The whole process of going solar with Ecomark has been very smooth and easy. Once they process started we had to do very little. Our reps were regularly in touch to update us and schedule all appointments, inspections, etc. their estimate was very accurate. We have been very happy with the whole process and appreciate the great customer service from Ecomark.

We ve wanted solar for many years and delighted that we finally achieved this goal this year. We interviewed a few companies and was most impressed with EcoMark. Supporting a Colorado company was one of our priorities. Since the beginning of the process, they have been very professional. All installs and deadlines were on time.

After the install, EcoMark has been extremely helpful in educating our household of the ins and outs of dealing with a rural electric company. We ve had to adjust our major appliance use to during daylight hours to avoid extra charges on our monthly electric bill.

EcoMark Solar was one of the best business I have worked with that keep you updated on every step that needed to happen. The installation went very well the people that did the installation were so great. Now the only thing is holding us up from using our product is excel. Once they do their thing we can move forward and us our Solar.

I wish I could give this company a negative star when I was first approached by a sales person the first question they had was how I was going to pay for the system I said fine I didn t want to meet any further as he was the one who approached me. Later they call I tell the sales person I do not want to be contacted further as I had not had a good experience previously then they decide to call and call then text and email finally I text the person back saying again I do not want to be further contacted because it is now harassment beware of this company they only see you as as a sack of money

We have been trying to find a flat roof solution for years and reluctant to having solar mounting puncture our 130 year-old roof. EcoMark offered a ballast system that is a perfect solution. The system was installed in a super efficient manner and the staff was always responsive and thorough. It s exciting to watch the solar meter come to life. We couldn t be happier.

Started the process when our home was under construction. Was able to identify our need for solar and build a system off construction diagrams. During installation, the installers were able to work around my schedule. It was a breeze from beginning to end.

Highly recommend against doing business with these people. The sales person signed us up promising to produce 105% of our energy usage. After signing the contract, they changed it to only produce 93%. Their contract stated that it could be cancelled if they adjusted the system by 10%. Their sales manager argued that they only changed it by 3%. I told him it didn't make sense to me to continue when they changed what they promised me. He got really nasty with me and told me he was billing me $1000. I've asked to talk to upper management and asked for contact info and they won't give it to me.

The installation was fast; the installers were very professional and courteous. I will follow up after my first couple of electric bills.

Sales rep was very good and thoroughly explained everything and helped with the paperwork.
Communication was good throughout the process, although a redesign was what caused a breakdown in communication.
The install went great, but there was a delay in communication with the city of Longmont. Once the inspection was completed, the process went quickly. Longmont approved the project and the now 2 way meter has been working.
All in all we are happy with our solar project and thank Ecomark for their hard work overcoming issues. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Thanks!

I work for the company now. They are amazing! We are the number one company in Colorado and the best place that I ve ever worked for. Great work environment, fun co workers and you can make the world a better place. Plus we do a damned good job at what we do and we treat our clients like friends. Check us out.

5/16 everything so far is going well, appointments are schedule sooner than later, Jalisa Robinson has been communicated effectively.

The only complains I have is that when the workers leave, they leave everything open with the risk of someone stealing something from our property.

Also, they have left some garbage and cigarette butts on our yard.

Not a big deal but not very professional.

Would I recommend getting solar panels? only if you can pay 20k cash.

We just made an appraisal in our house and the value did not go as high as expected.

We would not recommend this company to anyone. The entire process has been a nightmare of non-communication. Workers showed up unannounced and climbed on top of the house more than once. Other times we were told they were coming and no one showed up. I said more than once that any delays were not a problem we just really needed to know when people would be at the house and requested that we be informed if weather or other issues prevented them from coming. I didn't think that was an unreasonable request but apparently it was. According to the people that were here last the system is apparently up and running. We were told at that time that there was no one available to set up the monitoring system and they would contact us within a week to set it up, we haven't heard from them since. It is sitting in a box in our garage. We were also pressured by the financing company to sign the financing documents even though the work wasn't fully completed yet and was told if I did not do it then I may lose my approval for the financing. Overall the process has been ridiculous and at this point I just hope the system works as advertised and we didn't just waste a whole lot of money.

Ecomark has been very communicative during the entire process, as well as very accessible when we had any questions. Their staff is very professional. It has been a very positive experience! I would recommend Ecomark!

We had a wonderful experience with Ecomark. It started with a low stress sales meeting, which was very informative and helped us make the decision to go solar. After we decided to go solar, the Ecomark team kept us informed throughout the entire process. We knew where we were throughout each step. They gave us realistic expectations with respect to design, permitting, and installation. They even finished sooner than we expected. Ecomark has been excellent to work with, they basically do all the heavy lifting for you throughout the process and are very willing to work with you on concerns you may have. I had an enjoyable experience with the solar installation process. Any issue or question was promptly explained to me. Jake came out and thoroughly explained how the system operates, including online and external evaluation process. I would definitely refer Ecomark Solar for friends. By the way, at no time from beginning to end of the installation process was I in the dark. Finally after installation, they cleaned up the area.

Ecomark was the only company I could find to put panels on my flat (Mansard style) roof. They did a great job and were even able to install an EV charger for me.

Everyone should work with this company to get solar panels installed. The whole process was smooth and easy. I especially liked getting updates via email as to the process of design, permits, etc. The people who came to install the equipment were friendly and helpful.

My family's EcoMark experience was like Jekyll and Hyde. We contracted with them for roof and gutter replacement and for a new solar installation in the aftermath of July's hailstorm. If I had to do it over again, I would NEVER choose EcoMark for the roofing/gutters! On thee other hand, their solar crew was highly competent and communicative. EcoMark sub-contracted out the former, and it was a scheduling nightmare with problematic workmanship. I made it clear to EcoMark that I wanted to be on-site when these jobs were done. The roofing job was rescheduled twice, and their crew showed up without notice one day while I was at work. They pushed a mass of snow off the roof, and embedded in it shingle fragments and hundreds of nails, leaving that all behind. I could not get clear communication from EcoMark on important questions about decking replacement (which was needed!), and they did a half-hearted job cleaning up the mess left by the roofing subcontractor. The gutter sub-contractor showed up the first day with the wrong color materials and had to return the next. They, too, left screws and sheet metal shards in my yard and driveway, and even better, their work had dozens of leaks, as the next snowstorm showed. On the plus side, they returned to repair their damaged work. Oh, and now 2.5 months after the completion of the roofing and gutter work, EcoMark has sent me a supplemental invoice for the roofing job. It is not itemized, so I have no way of knowing what it is for.
On the other hand, the solar installation went very well. The crews kept to scheduled installation times, were knowledgeable, thorough in answering questions, and courteous, even picking up nails and screws that persisted after my efforts to get them all. The installation was smooth, and we are excited about the energy production.
A final caution. We first met with an EcoMark representative on 9/19/19. Our solar system went live on 3/3/20. Over that time, I had to communicate by phone or email with over a dozen EcoMark employees. It was difficult to get a reliable answer to many of my most important questions about the roof work. The solar project went through 3 redesigns. It was not a friendly or efficient process for me as a customer.

Had my solar panels installed recently .I was informed of every step in the process and very pleased with how everything turned out.

They installed everything in a timely manner, and explained every step of the process so there wasn't any confusion or misunderstanding. Very professional and did a good job with the install.

EcoMark took care of the whole process from permits to install to inspections to communication with the utility. They kept us posted really well about where we were in the process. They were very quick to install the system and get it running after the city had granted the permit. The SolarEdge system comes with a very nice web ui and a cell phone app that let's you monitor your power output in near real time.

My only gripe is about the cosmetic front panel that was included in the price. They originally told me they're done but the panel was not installed. Our main contact at EcoMark kept saying that it's coming but it took them a month before they finally came back to install it. Admittedly it was wintertime and our roof was snowy on many days. During that month their billing department called me at least 2-3 times asking me to pay since they thought the project was done. To their credit, they didn't push it when I told them why I hadn't paid yet. Still, it felt like their internal communication could have been better.

I appreciate Anthony and Dan s expertise, attention to detail, and willingness to share the process with me.

Every thing went smooth i am statisfied with the outcome.

From introduction to commissioning our new system, Ecomark Solar has been excellent to work with. Our salesman, Paul Harpole, was very knowledgeable and patient with us while we evaluated the information he provided. Paul was very proactive about answering our questions and providing additional resources for us. We are pleased with the respectfulness of everyone at Ecomark that we've associated. They've always been very professional. Prior to committing to Ecomark we evaluated other companies and products and we are impressed with the value of the system available through Ecomark. Our system has been operating for about one month and we are pleased with its function and ability to produce far beyond the energy we consume!

Cant say enough good about the experience.. The Project Coordinator has keep us updated. The install crew was on time , did good work , informative, and cleaned up after .

Absolutely the WORST experience ever. Be very cautious of their contract, there is nothing in it to protect you as a home owner. The warranty they offer is worthless....
I canceled my contract before they touched my house and had to pay a fee to do so, but I believe I'm money ahead in the long run..
They tried forcing me to pay a change order after design was complete for something that should of been caught on day one. The guys explaining the change to me were uneducated on the subject and I lost all trust in the company for having any clue what they were doing.
If i could give them less than on star I would.

Since I canceled my contract I have received other quotes for the same size that Ecomark was going to provide for over 10K Cheaper!!! Don't use Ecomark they will rip you off!!!!

Our experience with installation was easy, fast, and efficiently handled. The wait on our electrical provider was not too long, and the team started the system as soon as approval was received. The staff that set up monitoring was patient, easy to work with, and very familiar with the system and how we can watch it work for us. Great job!

All of the staff that I have worked with at EcoMark has been very nice and accommodating. The product seams to be of very good quality and the installation process was professional. Two areas that I see for improvement are the length of the process from start to finish was over five months. The other was in communication during that time. I would recommend more and better communication with a backup to insure communication is happening to the level and expectation of the customer.

From start to finish all work was excellent. Employees very helpful. The way my panels look compared to others in the springs area are a lot cleaner set up.

The original sales visit was very friendly and informative but not pushy. Everyone involved in every step of the project was extremely helpful, available, and friendly. The install crew was polite, unobtrusive, and kept the site clean. The total install process was a bit convoluted (there are a lot of forms, inspections, and installations) but EcoMark laid out a clear road-map and kept us in the loop every step of the way.

Everything about this experience was pleasant and easy. If you're considering EcoMark Solar, go for it! We have no regrets.

The follow-up appointment allowed me to see how the system and monitoring equipment works and allowed me to ask any final questions about the system or its warranty. Great job EcoMark! Ecomark has been a great company to work with from beginning to end. We really enjoyed working with our sales rep Halley. The rest of the process has also gone smooth and we have had constant updates with the entire team each step of the way. Appointments and overall process have been on time and require little oversight from us. Highly recommend working with Ecomark for your solar needs.

We became aquinted with Ecomark at a home show. We had been interested in solar for a long time but no other company would talk to us. The salesman was great! Very informative. Due to our location his estimate of solar production was high - and we are meeting and often exceeding that amount. He found us great rebate - over half the cost.
Once all the permits were done, installation was quick and painless. They cleaned up afterwards and we were pleased.
Our electric savings is huge - we pay the local utility connection fee and nothing more. Credits from the summer, fall and spring cover the snowy, clowdy days. Other than cleaning any snow off, we have no mainenance. It did increase the home value, but appraisals are not dollar to dollar as paid.

Ecomark has been a very moral and customer service oriented company through the entire process. Installation was fast, they kept us very informed through the whole process. I appreciated how upfront they were with all the details of the install, Meter install and the operation of the system. I would recommend them if you are even thinking about solar. We had horrible experiences with other companies and choose not to do business with the other guys!

BEWARE: Price gouging and pushy sales men. Prices are absorbent for the hardware. Matt was a pushy salesperson that insisted we sign immediately. My communication with this company ceased when Matt stated, Well don t bother talking to us if you want that kinda price! , when I asked if they could match a competitor s quote.

From start to finish, every person we worked with associated with Ecomark Solar were absolutely wonderful as far as being proficient, friendly and professional! Highly recommend to all. Only constructive criticism would be being told time period start to finish would be 3 to 4 months when it is actually 6 months to complete everything including inspections.

EcoMark was a breeze to work with, and was flexible in how the package was put together. They communicated at every step of the way so that we knew what was coming and what we needed to do next. We required some construction to reinforce the roof. Their construction team completed the work quickly and economically, and creatively packaged it into the overall package to give us the best financing option.

We couldn't be more pleased with C.J. and the rest of the gang at Ecomark. After researching the solar industry and what was happening in Colorado, it was an easy decision. From start to finish, the process was seamless and we aren't spending a penny more than before. We will definitely tell everyone we know about Ecomark!

Once the town of Firestone okayed the project, it took two days to install the panels. It would have been a day, but rain kept the project from being completed. It then took another week for the town to inspect the work. Two days later the power company installed a meter and the house began using solar.

I wanted to compliment Neal Luther, our EcoMark Solar consultant. Neal was most professional, polite, and straight forward with his presentation. He answered some very direct and tough questions. If you are the in market for a solar system, please ask for Neal.

It has been an easy and efficient process. I have had many questions and each time we write one within minutes I get a reply. The guys that came by to show us how to monitor our system were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They arrived on the dot when they said, anticipated every possible situation and provided us with clear and precise explanations. I highly recommend EcoMark. Thank you!

Overall it was a great experience working with EcoMark. Callie was very prompt in her responses to questions and keeping me updated on scheduling. We were generating our own electricity 2 months ahead of schedule!

UPDATE: I had to knock off a star for the rating because EcoMark never followed through with paying out the referral bonus to our neighbors across the street who had referred us to the company. For a small business who relies heavily on word of mouth, they really should make a bigger effort to follow through with the referral bonuses. My incentive to point my friends and family to EcoMark is now much lower. Also, the company they use for lending, Blue Spruce, doesn't have a web interface for payments. Come on...get with the times here Blue Spruce.

The sales people were knowledgeable and helpful. We found the installation process went faster than expected and the installation team were friendly and answered all of our questions. Everything went smoothly and everyone at Ecomark behaved in a professional and courteous manner.

What I thought was going to be a very complicated process turned out to be one of the easiest installations/projects I have ever done to/for my home. I was thrilled with every aspect of the process from sales, to installation and support. The communication of the progress of the project was also excellent. My new system is the envy of the block!!

EcoMark made the entire process fairly effortless. They were consistently ahead of schedule and any times we had questions they responded within the next business day or two. We are so excited for our solar panels!

I have only positive things to say about Ecomark. There were some issues during the design and installation of my solar panels, but Ecomark worked through these issues in a constructive and professional way. There will always be issues during any construction project, but Ecomark addressed my concerns to my satisfaction.

During the design, they initially wanted to place the internal components in a location that would not be useful to me. After discussing the issue with them, Ecomark revised the plan. During construction, it was determined there was not enough space for where I originally wanted the internal components. However, Ecomark found another location that satisfied my needs while still maintaining the necessary clearances.

The biggest issue that I had during the installation of my solar panels was the activation of the included vehicle charger. The vehicle charger was included as part of the inverter. While the inverter was working perfectly once we received approval from the City to turn the system on, the included vehicle charger would not charge my vehicle. Ecomark steadfastly worked the problem, even contacting the manufacturer, to get it working. After multiple attempts, Ecomark was able to final get the vehicle charger working.

I am extremely happy with Ecomark's efforts. I would recommend anyone that wants to install solar panels to use Ecomark. They will take responsibility for the entire process from design to approval to installation.

Everyone I had contact with was very nice, but their scheduling needs some work. It took 6 months before my panels were installed. I had to make contact because I hadn't heard from anybody for 2 months. Finally at the end of December I was scheduled to have my install done.

The crew that came out were wonderful. Very polite, worked quickly and safely. They cleaned up after themselves. When they were done they thanked me for choosing solar.

We happen to stumble upon Ecomark when looking into solar panels and we are very glad we did. They have provided us with the information we needed without pressure to buy. We appreciated the emails to let us know where we were in the process and glad that they handled the information exchange with our HOA. We are excited to start saving some money and begin helping our environment.
