The worst dealership I have ever dealt with. The service department can not get simple tasks such as oil and tire changes done in a timely manner and expect you make several appointments and spend several days without your vehicle to accomplish them. Furthermore the service manager is rude and disrespectful, when he was confronted with an issue I was encouraged to go elsewhere, so from here on out I will be doing just that. Fraser Chrysler will not receive another moment of my time or dollar of my money for their inconvenience. I hope this helps.

Today I bought a brand new 2017 Grand Caravan SXT. I had a great experience dealing with Mr. Nangy Amerree at Fraser Chrysler Dodge in Oshawa. After doing some research on the internet I emailed Mr. Amerree and made an appointment to meet in 3 days. During the 3 days I emailed him several times including on his day off and got a prompt reply. During our appointment he took all the information I had and after asking me a few questions he went to work for me finding a vehicle with options very close to what I had requested and then went on to me a price that I was satisfied with.Nangy Amerree was very polite and not at all pushy and I got the impression that he was going out of his way to make me a happy, satisfied customer.

Bought a Dodge Journey brand new in 2016. Roughly 6 months into the purchase one of the tires continually would lose small amounts of pressure, usually 5-10 psi. My fiancee and i took it to the dealership the first time and we were told there was nothing wrong with the tire and that stuff like this just happens sometimes.

So we lived with the issue as we would only need to top up once a month ( more frequently during the winter). Until today, my fiancee took the car to get the tire filled at the Costco in Oshawa, and a very kind gentlemen took a look at the tire. Lo and behold he found a rusted out drywall nail in the tire, and it appeared as though the nail head had been cut off. He then informed that dealerships are in the habit of doing things like this just to save a couple bucks.

I will only go to this dealership for the free oil changes that came with my warranty. Beyond that the people are hopeless and are just out to screw you. Don't buy your vehicle from this establishment!

I enjoyed my purchase experience with Fraser Chrysler. I dealt with Peter and was pleased with the service he provided. He is very knowledgeable and opened my eyes to new solutions I never thought about! His questions were straight to the point and the offer he presented to me made perfect sense. The management team and finance office were very friendly and accomodating. I highly recommend this dealership and Peter for being such an honest sales consultant.

Incontinence is bliss at Fraser Chrysler Jeep. Needed to have three recalls done on my Jeep JK. Made my first appointment, three weeks ahead of time. Was called the day before the 30th of may, so they could cancel the appointment because air bags weren't ordered. Rescheduled for the 5th of June at 8:45am. Jeep went untouched the entire day and lost my recall notice.

A piece of interior trim was damaged while a radio repair was being done at this dlr under warranty and was never fixed when brought to attention. Also been waiting four months for recall parts. No call back. Called another dlr, vechile going in right away. These guys suck.

NANGY - One of the most personable and professional sales people I have met. He understood my requirements and met them exactly. I have had bad experiences before with car dealerships,, but I would return to work with Nangy for future purchases. I felt very comfortable with Nangy and that is very important with such a large purchase, thank you for going above and beyond.

ANDREW - I was referred to Andrew for assistance in purchasing a vehicle for my son, I had certain specifications and a very strict budget. Andrew was extremely friendly and professional, he was able to assist with my purchase respecting the price I required. Due to going above and beyond he has now connected with myself and my son that I would have no hesitation returning to make future purchases at Fraser Chrysler. Returning customers are a very important factor to a business, thank you Andrew.

CINDY - Cindy knew my name the instant I returned. She was very engaging and made me feel very welcome. She is full of smiles and caring conversations, loved meeting Cindy!

Fraser Chrysler is a top notch dealership! I had the pleasure of dealing with Jana Wilson in sales last time I was in and was extremely pleased with both knowledge and service.
I highly recommend both Jana and Fraser Chrysler!!

I have had a great experience with this dealership in general. They were lucky enough to get Rob Crick, the most honest and knowledgeable tech I have ever met. He is the only one to work on both of my dodge vehicles. 2017 modified caravan, 2016 Ram. I would highly recommend this establishment for sales, service and warranty. I will continue to buy all my vehicles here.

Called for express lane oil change at 6pm, open til 8pm. Service tells me as long as I am there by 7:30pm he can fit me in no problem. Guess what, i was there at 6:55pm after rushing across town to get there, to be told sorry, can't fit you in. I explained my phone call earlier. Didn't care.... wasted my time.

Once again proving even if you spend a lot of money on a vehicle and want to maintain your warranty by paying Dodge to do the work they don't care.
I can change my own oil no problem however warranty won't be covered if I do...
Unimpressed, same ole Durham Dodge just a name change.

Only reason I am giving this 1 star is because 0 i...

Only reason I am giving this 1 star is because 0 isn't an option. I dealt with a man named ***JEFF*** and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any dealership. I went to go shopping for a vehicle and was looking at something bigger than my ford focus hatchback. I wanted to look at the dodge journey as I have had heard some good reviews. Shortly talking to the salesman he walked us out to a car. He didn't show my wife or I how anything inside the car worked so we basically had to wing it. This hurt our overall experience here and with this vehicle. After we had arrived from our test drive Jeff had asked how we would like to purchase. I explained to him that I was looking into a lease. I wanted to do this because I didn't want to be in a long term finance. After I told him that he said it was "Stupid" to lease. He didn't explain why. He left to go get me numbers and came back and quoted me over 700 a month. I thought this was really high, Then he didn't tell me the interest rate that I wold be paying and he didn't tell me how many KM per year I was allotted. I then stated that the price seemed high. He replied that because they are domestic cars they have a low residual value and that I should just lease for 96 months. I told him again i didn't want to be in a long term finance which is why i was looking at leasing. He then told me that I would be stupid if I wanted to lease. After that I got up and left.

Shortly After that because my wife and I were really interested in the Journey we called the dealership. I had made myself an appointment for 2 o'clock. I showed up a little bit early for my appointment. My appointment was with a gentleman named Mackenzie. I got there at 2 and Mackenzie came over and said hello. We talked briefly for 2 minutes or so and he said he would be right back. 2:33 had rolled around an I had been waiting for over half of an hour. That is when I left the second time.

Nobody tried to call me after to see if they could earn my business. They didn't care. They wanted the fastest sale to make money off me and get me out there door. This place is absolute trash and would recommend going elsewhere for your dodge.

Great Dealership! Dealt with technician Rob Crick numerous times and he is the most honest technician I have met. Never makes me feel as if just because I am a woman I need to spend more $$ etc. I will recommend this Dealership to all my friends and family.

Although my last vehicle purchase at Durham Dodge ...

Although my last vehicle purchase at Durham Dodge Chrysler 3 years ago was a good experience, this time around it was impossible to buy from them.

After doing a little research, I arrived with ads from other nearby dealerships and was ready to make a purchase. The salesman and a rep from Chrysler were very pleasant and helpful and ready to make a sale. The Chrysler rep saw the newspaper and internet ads for Dodge Caravans I brought and figured it was a done deal.

Then an unpleasant woman who identified herself as a member of the management team jumped in and announced that they do not as a practice match new car prices advertised by other dealers. She further indicated the ads placed by other nearby dealers were fictitious ads for vehicles that did not really exist. She indicated that the real prices were significantly higher, and that she had a vehicle on the lot that would suffice - but refused to tell me her actual best price. I felt sorry for the salesman whose pending sale she had just spoiled.

The next day I drove to another Dodge Chrysler dealer cash-in-hand, and happily purchased the exact "fictitious non-existent Grand Caravan " that was in the ad I had shown the staff at Durham Dodge. The price and options were exactly as advertised and I was very satisfied with the purchase.

I have been purchasing Dodge/Jeep products for many years, but am not likely to visit Durham Dodge again for new vehicles, parts, or service. It really is worth your while to keep on driving past Durham Dodge Chrysler and save thousands by purchasing from an alternate Dodge dealer......

The lady that answered the phone was very rude she obviously didn't wanna b there and made it very clear as she had no problem telling me ok when I said I would phone another dealership. ...pretty bad sales clerk when she just lost 100,000 on a hell cat .

One of the worst experiences I've ever had when lo...

One of the worst experiences I've ever had when looking for a new vehicle was to be had at Durham Dodge Chrysler.
I had been looking to replace my current truck with an ecodiesel powered Ram Longhorn.
I had built a truck online and emailed the build to the dealership through the web utility. Response to the email was quick with me setting up an appointment with my salesman for two days in the future to view a truck that matched my specs. I then spoke on the phone with the salesman who told me he would make sure the truck was on the lot so I could see it as soon as I showed up.
When I arrived at the dealership, no truck on site but the hard sell certainly was. Took 10 to 15 minutes for them to bring the truck and when it arrived, it was caked in mud, there was even mud on the dashboard. Unsightly, but trucks can be cleaned. The salesman went over the vehicle, and was very good with showing me the features, and he certainly did know most of the truck's features. He then took my personal details and off I went for a test drive. Truck was nice, drove well and was very comfortable.
Get back to the dealership and we start going over price, with him asking me what I'm willing to pay. When I tell him, he just rolls his eyes and says he'll talk with his sales manager. Comes back with a price $12,000 more than the other dealers I had talked to. I decline his offer and then over comes his sales manager he starts really trying to pressure me and I catch him in a lie. he tells me that just this very morning Chrysler extended their 0% financing to longer terms. This was an outright lie as I had already did all my homework and had priced trucks at two other dealerships and knew all the financing terms. I told him I already had his price beat by thousands and he then offers me the same deal and tries to get me to take the truck home for several hours since I was waiting for my wife to finish shift. As I'm walking over to the truck to take another look I see a huge dent in the tailgate when I mention this to the sales manager, he acknowledges that the truck has a huge dent in the tailgate and then he accuses me of using this as a negotiating wedge but it will be fixed before I take delivery. I asked how it will be fixed since it's over a crease and he states it will be popped out and painted if needed. I state their is no way to just pop it out and it would have to be changed out since I wouldn't buy a truck that way. He then offered to change the tailgate.
What I want to know is why wasn't this mentioned to me as soon as I looked at the truck to begin with? Why did I have to discover the dent? A little honesty and forthrightness certainly goes a long way when attempting to sell an expensive vehicle to a potential customer and to me, this was very telling of this dealership.
I declined to take the vehicle home but did tell them I would come back either way and tell them of my decision.
I did want to go back to the dealership and give them my answer and had planned on picking up my wife at the end of her shift. She had to work a little later than usual since she was with a vented patient and couldn't leave.
I picked her up a half hour later than planned and told her the whole story and we were headed on our way to Durham Dodge when we decided to go back to Menzies Chrysler and talk to them since Durham Dodge high pressure sales tactics and lack of integrity were very off putting. Ended up buying a vehicle from Menzies and stayed later than planned. I was unable to make my way to Durham Dodge since we had a family event and were running late. I emailed the salesman and told him of my decision to go with another dealer as I said I would let him know one way or the other. I then receive an email from him with an insult in regards to the veracity of my word - from a guy who knew of but couldn't be bothered to tell a potential customer of a damaged vehicle and who couldn't even to be bothered to honour his word or for that matter, have the vehicle on site and semi-clean.
I wonder if the irony of his actions are lost on him?

Returned to see Al Kennedy, an amazing sales consultant whom we been dealing with for years. Easy to talk to, fair and funny too. Made the process seamless. Their customer service is excellent and thorough. Would recommend this dealership to anyone!

Run the other way!! There are 3 other decent dealerships in Durham Region-Menzies,Village Ajax (who fixes everything including Fiat and will shuttle to Oshawa) and Pickering Chrysler-all excluding this one. Don't be fooled by the name change. For starters, (and I have honesty given these Fraser Folks plenty of chances) 4 times I have made an appointment for vehicle maintenance or repair that they could not commit to the scheduled time/day and with no heads up have told me they could not get the work done to my vechile after leaving it over the weekend. Recently, they had my car for a month waiting for parts? But the best is for last...the last visit I had about 2 weeks ago, they managed to get the service done surprisingly quickly, but leaving out some of the parts?!? Extra bolts? Who needs those? I drove away not knowing... braking 2 drive axles on the highway not properly secured by the technician. The dealership I had it towed to (not Fraser) now tells me the issue and why...and says when they phoned Fraser Chrysler to pay for the corrective repair work (as I was not) they said 'he should have brought it back to us to fix it'. Oh, why didn't I think of that Fraser? The short answer: Sitting on the side of highway waiting for a tow- I thought its only been out of Fraser's shop about 24 hours and if they actually managed to fit me in...they would likely tell me it was not something they were responsible for...and if it actually managed to get into the shop for repair...who knows what other parts they might FORGET to put back on as I drive away...thanks, but NO THANKS!!! Shame, where is the zero star rating on here!

As a woman it s always intimidating to walk into a dealership to inquire about a car. But I was so pleasantly surprised with the professionalism, knowledge and care that all the staff showed from the moment we walked in through the doors, all the way to the day I picked up my new car! In one word, my experience with this dealership was AMAZING!!! When we first walked in we met Kalen, who gave us some initial information and was very polite and professional. He then connected us with Colleen.... let me tell you about Colleen...there are too many wonderful words I could use to describe her but this review would be way too long!!! She was patient when listening to what my needs in a vehicle are, and very respectful when discussing my budget for a new car. Not once did I feel pressured to buy one vehicle over an other, nor was there any pressure to sign right away (we all have experienced that pushy type of service in the past at other dealerships, but not at this one!!). She has a positive, sweet and honest nature that made me feel comfortable dealing with her......then there is Nicole, she is hilarious but very professional at the same time...she thoroughly explained our financing options and allowed us to make decisions without trying to push a sale . I'm looking forward to driving my new Cherokee and dealing with the service department when I get servicing done on my vehicle. I definitely recommend for anyone interested in a Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep to just walk through Fraser Chrysler s doors and you will not be disappointed! Thank you Colleen, Nicole, Kalen and all your wonderful staff!

Through our the years have have dealt with many other dealerships, sales personal and have purchased new vehicles in the past. This is by far the best experience I have had to date. Peter was excellent, very knowledge, friendly and exceeded my expectation when it came to price and incentives. I would highly recommend seeing Peter if you are looking for a sales person who aims to please, isn't pushy, very patient and has the customers best interest.

Thank you Peter, you were GREAT! Five Stars.

Sincerely

Paul

As a long time customer, I would have expected my visit today Dec 3, 2019 for wiper blades at Express Service would have been quick and easy. Instead, I had to convince the service person that I didn't want to do them myself and if it was so quick and easy, why couldn't someone there do them for me. After sending me to the Parts department to purchase them, the express service person did find a tech to install them. And it wasn't as quick and easy as he said it would be. The rear wiper was quite difficult, but the young man who did them was very friendly and knowledgeable and took quite awhile to change them. He was wonderful, but I was still annoyed about the attitude I received at the Express Counter.

Just picked up my new car from Durham Chrysler, great service, everyone I dealt with was great. Pleasurable experience and everything was just what I asked for. Would buy from this dealership again.

Great offer for my trade in. Mack was a pleasure to do business with, so kind and very knowledgeable. Love my new jeep! Will definitely be returning in the future for any vehicle purchases and will recommend to family & friends.

To start with, I had to pay for a diagnostic even after I TOLD them what was wrong with my Jeep.

Technician didn't really have comprehensive knowledge and changed a number of things which had absolutely no relevance to what was wrong.

After everything was said and done, and I'd sat there waiting all day, the tech calls me in to show me what it was and surprise - it was exactly what I'd initially told them (a known Chrysler/Jeep defect)

And wait, it gets better! After all this they tell me the part is on back order and they can't fix it (Chrysler Canada doesn't sell the part separately so you need to buy a whole steering column - big bux!)

So I got smoked for a 'diagnostic fee' of over $200 to tell me that what I said was exactly what was wrong - and that they couldn't fix it. Which I think they could've easily checked 6 hours earlier and known the part wasn't available right from the start - especially for a known common fault that costs over $700 to fix.

Just when I had some hope with service they did it again. Tried to book an appointment to do an important recall regarding potential loss of steering on our truck. Was told would be 5 weeks out since they are too busy doing recall work and won't do anymore until then. WHAT?? I can get an appointment for other work almost immediately, but a potential loss of steering, NO CAN DO. Something tells me they don't make as much money on recall work, so they are prioritizing profits over a potential life threatening issue, i.e. loss of steering. Shameful. Will NEVER be back for service or to buy my next vehicle.

Went in for an oil change and the dealership rep mentioned something about a recall on the hood latch of my 97' dodge ram. They ordered the part, when it was in a few days later I brought my truck in. They replaced the old part with the new piece free of charge and in less than a half hour. Great customer service and great work.

One thing you should look into is making your coffee space a little larger with more variety of snacks and such! People tend to get bored while waiting.

Took my car to this dodge 1 year ago, with a lifter/cam issue it cost me $4,800 to fix, and 1 year later the same issue again... am I going to have to spend 5gs a year on this truck on the same issue every year, not very happy with this outcome, the same problem 1 year later.

I want to call out how impressed I am with Kyle the service advisory. He goes out of his way to check what is under warranty to help save you money. Overall I'm impressed with his "Can Do" attitude and willingness to help me. My family and I appreciate his efforts. He for sure should receive a customer service award with a sweet prize. Thank-you very much Kyle. Jason.

Horrible! I had to use my credit card to order a part. They charged me that day. When my wife went to pick up the part they would not give to her even though I already paid. They said it was because of fraud purposes. Customer service should be their priority. Not fraud that's for credit card companies and the law to deal with. Had to take two 30min trips there and back.
