Keith Mackenzie Review of Durham Dodge Chrysler

To start with, I had to pay for a diagnostic even after I TOLD them what was wrong with my Jeep.
Technician didn't really have comprehensive knowledge and changed a number of things which had absolutely no relevance to what was wrong.
After everything was said and done, and I'd sat there waiting all day, the tech calls me in to show me what it was and surprise - it was exactly what I'd initially told them (a known Chrysler/Jeep defect)
And wait, it gets better! After all this they tell me the part is on back order and they can't fix it (Chrysler Canada doesn't sell the part separately so you need to buy a whole steering column - big bux!)
So I got smoked for a 'diagnostic fee' of over $200 to tell me that what I said was exactly what was wrong - and that they couldn't fix it. Which I think they could've easily checked 6 hours earlier and known the part wasn't available right from the start - especially for a known common fault that costs over $700 to fix.
