Excel Dentistry has been our family dentist for several years now. The staff are all really nice and try to make you as comfortable as possible. I always go there for my cleanings and they assist in other work as well. I recommended them of you need a dentist.
The dentist is so nice, and caring. She tries her hardest to make you feel better without hurting you. She conversates with you to make you feel comfortable, and even has a television and headset to make you feel right a home! Her office also gives you a homey feel, which makes it even better. Her and her staff are amazing people. I would recommend them to whomever needs a dentist!
From the moment I walked in I felt like I was at a resort. The front desk personnels are so polite and are always smiling. Then when I was escorted to the treatment room, I was greeted with another smile by the hygienist. My cleaning went so well, she even pointed out my problem areas and told me what to do. The dentist came in to do an exam, smiling as well, and she also explained what measures I need to take to optimize my oral health. Upon leaving I made an appointment for my children.
I like this place very much. good workers and everyone is very nice. they speak multiple languages so good for non english speakers:)

Couldn't be more disappointed with the service i received. UPSELL UPSELL UPSELL This dentist is just trying to secure more business rather than do a good job the 1st time. A week after an extraction i was pulling pieces of teeth out of the hole from my removal. Come here if you want to pay high prices for pain and a bad job.
I love coming to this Dentist, they always acomodate me with my crazy schedule and it is a very relaxing and friendly environment/staff.
I have been coming to Excel Dentistry for years, too many to count, and I have always received stellar service from everyone. I always tell my friends they have to switch to my dentist because they are hands down the best in NJ. I will continue to be a patient of Excel as long as I live in the NJ area and when I move away I may just have to make trips back so they can keep up with all of my dental needs. I Love this place!

10 years ago I had a bike accident where I broke my front tooth. I never got it properly fixed so it was always an eye sore to me. Because I am getting married soon, I finally decided to get veneers with Dr. Garrido, and I am happy to say that I can now post pictures of myself for the first time in 10 years without editing my teeth or being self conscious. I could not be any happier with my new smile!!!!
Tanya did a very thorough job of cleaning. The office was very clean and it appeared they were doing all the right things for Covid safety. Everyone was cordial, and they were very prompt.
Excel Dentistry has been absolutely wonderful. The oral surgeon who did my wisdom teeth removal was excellent, and I had no issues following the surgery; the recovery was quick, easy, and painless. The cleanings and examinations are thorough, and the staff is friendly. On top of this, the office is beautiful and very conventiely located for Bergen/Passaic County. I would highly recommend this business!!

Diana, my hygienist, was superb for cleaning my teeth, especially when using the ultrasonic cleaner. I used to cringe at the mere thought of having my teeth cleaned but today's experience was easefull and even pleasurable, if one could imagine such a word being applied to teeth cleaning!

A few months back I was looking for a dentist and I found this office by chance, and it has honestly been the best experience at a dental office. All the staff members and doctors are friendly, professional and caring. And after my first visit , I encouraged my friends to make the switch to this office. My teeth have never felt so clean and I have never felt so welcomed and taken care at a dental office!
My experience at Excel Dentistry was SUPERB!!!! I was shocked from the second I walked in by the aesthetics of the place! Even tho I was in extreme pain, I still noticed the beautiful decor from the second I walked in. Most places spend allot of money on the appearance of the entrance and then the rest of the place get's neglected. Here It's beautiful from front to back. Even the toilets are amazingly beautiful! This is truly what a dentistry of the 21st century should look like.
The service I received was great! I had gone to another place a week prior and I felt extremely uncomfortable and pressured. Here it was the opposite, I felt truly cared for and not as if I was just a number. Also they have beautiful flat screen T.V.'s mounted above you that shift and angle along with your reclining position so that you can watch t.v. through out your whole procedure and you get headphones so you don't hear the drilling (I personally appreciated that). They even pull up pictures of your teeth & display them in front of you on the t.v. so that you can see what's going on. I got a root canal and it was PAIN FREE! I've heard horror stories of root canals but Dr. Mayra was on top of her game from beginning to end and constantly checked and asked about my comfort. All in all if google offered 100 stars I would give Excel Dentistry 110!
All the equipment is also top of the line and looks brand new!
Also Dr. Mayra was flexible with the payments and even gave me a discount on my Root Canal! Like I said before SUPERB Service!
I will be going back to Excel Dentistry and will recommended all my Family & Friends there.

I have had an amazing experience!! I have known Dr. Modesto-Garrido for about 12yrs. She did my braces when I was a teenager and now she did veneer and fixed my chipped tooth. Couldn t be happier. I love my smile even more now. I knew trusting Dr. Modesto-Garrido and her staff again was going to be a great experience and I wasn t wrong.

Anyway, I got a chance to speak to their front desk Natalia, and wow what expectional customer service does this office have ... she noticed I was having an issue on my end, offered to help me by just googling and figuring it out on her end. Usually if you are not a patient, offices will just hang up and let you figure it out on their own, she did not know me but solved such a minor issue that i couldn t seem to figure out. I could not help but give this office a good review, just to know there are good people in this world willing to give a helping hand is comforting . You guys will be definitely hearing from me soon

Dr. Garrido has been my dentist for 15 years, and she has always taken great care of me. Now she has been treating my husband for the past 6 years. She is incredibly patient and gentle, my husband has had to have 2 root canals done, and they were completely painless. She's also great with kids! I took my two year old to have a cleaning and check up for the first time, and she was so quick and gentle with him. He didn't cry or fuss, and the whole staff worked together to make sure he had a great first experience. I would never trust my teeth or my family's teeth to anyone else!

Very professional, attentive and accommodating. Explains the procedures, differentiates between procedures that might be good to do, but aren't fully necessary, vs findings that might cause a problem down tue line if not taken care of. Very relaxing atmosphere.
I am undergoing treatment for my bite and align my teeth with Dr. Garrido. With only a few weeks in the treatment I have noticed much improvement in the bite since I do not feel the discomfort and the headache and jaw. My teeth are much more aligned and I feel more confident with my smile. I recommend 100% the services of Excel Dentistry.

Visit Excel Dentistry for my regular cleaning and I must say that I received excellent service. Starting with the front desk, where they receive you with kindness and following the required biosafety protocols, which made me feel safe. As for my cleaning, I must say that Tania, the hygienist, took her time to make me the best cleaning I have ever had in my life. So I recommend 100% Excel Dentistry!
I had my routine teeth cleaning. The hygienist was very nice but didn't know I could get the warmer water. She was not as thorough as previous hygienists. I had to rinse three times to get the grit off my teeth and they didn't feel as polished as in the past. She told me to go up to the sink to rinse my mouth instead of giving me the cup and vehicle to spit the water out. This is a one time disappointment. ALL other work in the past has been wonderful.

Handled our three year old perfectly. It was my son's first dentist visit ever. And Lucy the hygienist handled our son so well that not once did I have to say or calm him down. The doctor who came in later was nice too and attentive.
