On 01/24/2020 at Echo Park, I had the best car-buying experience thanks to Austin Chambliss. He had great social skills right off the bat and made sure to tell us everything most people consider bad news up front before talking about any type of deal. He did his best to help us and make sure we left with the car we wanted. I definitely recommend this car dealership and this salesman for any car purchasing desires. 10/10 RECOMMEND!

For context, we are out of state & only worked with dealership via phone. We found an Armada that we were interested in and already had financing...we were ready to buy. This dealership has a strict outside financing policy, so we went with their financing instead. While they took ALL day to process financing, the Armada sold. As we looked over their inventory (because we are now financed w/them) we found a Honda CRV for my parents. While processing financing for my parents the CRV sold. We are both now financed at dealership and would have to buy different cars than they baited? They did offer another Armada they had in processing , wanted a deposit to hold it. We were interest at first, but they could not give us the list price. We have spent DAYS waiting on this dealership between slow financing office, delayed call backs and the processing of potential vehicles. You may save a few dollars with this dealership, but it is NOT worth your time.
It was an amazing experience to have business with these guys. With Adrian, it was great experience even though not what I expected on rate part. If you are serious about buying a car, they are serious about getting you own. No winding around unwanted deals and negotiations. Just have a look at their inventory beforehand so you save some time. To summarize, they deserve to be in this business for long long time as they have been around.
The floor associate was patient and knowledgeable about every aspect of the auto financing process and answered all questions with a courteous disposition. Marcelo is a great person to help anyone find a car within their budget. I am satisfied with my experience at Driversselect and am a proud owner of a 2016 Sonata Sport.
The price is ok, but the service is not that good. We come in at 3:30 with an idea of which car we want to but. But we did not leave until 10!!! Get leave a lone for almost 1hours. Takes them about 20mins just to make copy of our documents. And is the first time I see a dealer just give you keys and let you test drive yourself.
Joshua is simply AMAZING! He made this process very easy, was very clear, transparent & honest. I have never felt this at ease, comfortable and well taken care of at a dealership. And best part? He got me a better deal/rate after I had already agreed to the one we had initially. Best service EVER!

3 stars all goes to the salesman, the dealership failed me. Car wash was not completed prior to delivery. Vehicle needed couple of reconditioning touches they didn't do. Tint. No not available. Car was shaking and they said they balanced the tires but obviously the experts looking at the car and said needs balancing did not know what it really needs since it is still shaking. Beside all that clean dealership and they need to stop pushing for their products since they keep saying they are a non-hassle price but gives you a hassle to buy a product from them. wish i had a better experience.
Update: Said someone will contact you but apparently no one will contact me since the deal is over. Still waiting for a phone call/email from SOMEONE.
Worst dealership and laziest associates ever. I don t understand how I purchased a car without all its components, was promised to have the issue fixed, only to find out months later after the sale, the part that needed to be ordered was never ordered. I will NEVER purchase a car from here again. Too much maintenance post sale from the get go!
My husband and I went to Driversselect this morning so he could purchase a new vehicle. We didn't have an appointment so we had to wait for the next salesman to get to us. Lucky for us our wait was not long. We had the pleasure of working with Trey Ross. He was able to answer all of our questions and made sure we were given the best rate. My husband and I missed something while finalizing but Trey caught it & corrected it. He made our buying experience a great one. Went there today to go look for a car for my son we finaly found a car and wanted to test drive it and we were told its 1 hour wait time and the sales person that came to help us is very RUDE rite off the bat he said we don't haggle with prices i was like what make you think we are here to haggle here and was told that most people that walk into this dealership want to haggle this sales person has no idea how to treat customers so i will not be spending my sons hard earn money with this dealership

I went here on a Saturday to meet with Al Hicks. I test drove the car and all went well. When I went to pay for the car, I presented an outside loan. He told me he would be able to beat it probably and get me their extended warranty. When he went back to run my credit, he told me it would only be one hard inquiry on my account. When I went to check my credit, I had 7 hard inquiries because of this.
My recommendation? Go to a smaller family owned place where they wont lie to get the car sold through their financing program

Put a $500 DEPOSIT down on a vehicle which was told is refundable. Ended up not getting the vehicle and they said the money would be refunded within 1-2 days. It s been a week. They don t answer their phones and I finally got a response and they said they lost my credit card info. MARCELLO salesman said he would call me back today after putting me on hold for 15 minutes and never called me back. I m going to have my bank dispute it but WOW how can you take someone s money and not give it back. Still waiting for some customer service over here. Sucks cause my entire family has bought our current vehicles from here.

We came here looking at one specific car, the first time it was sold so we didn t get it however we met with the nicest sales person ever. He showed us the other cars we were interested in without ever pushing us to buy. We told him to keep us in mind for when they had another car of the one we liked so he said ok. So for about a week or so he kept in contact with us and helped us. When we finally found the car he worked on making sure we got the terms/payment we wanted. Once that was done we got everything signed and in less than 30 minutes we were out. Super satisfied with the purchase, the experienced and our sales guy at drivers select. I highly recommend!!!

I have been trying to purchase a Yukon Xl from this dealership since Thur. the 11th of Feb. Agreed to price, but they were supposed to answer a sales tax question. That was Thursday. Called sales Jeff Jewell several times and e-mailed, but never heard anything. Called yesterday to talk to sales manager, and was given the finance dept. Talked thru question I needed answered, and was told he would find out and also talk to and fax over information to my credit union. That was at 11am. At 5pm had not heard back from anyone. Called credit union and no one had contacted them. It is now noon Saturday, called to speak w/sales manager, and was again given to the finance dept. The person I spoke with answered my question(makes me wonder where the other two guys went to get their answer). I said ok, but was frustrated because my credit union closes at noon on saturday. Was planning on picking truck up today the 13th. When I told him my credit union needed a buyers order and a copy of the front and back of the title, he said their bank has the title. I asked if he could call and get a copy of the front and back of the title to send to my credit union, and was told no he couldn't. I have never in my life worked with a dealership that pretty much did their level best to not sell a car. I guess i'm looking again. Hopefully the next dealership will want to sell a vehicle. Waited for like 4 hours and the car that I wanted was gone. My sales consultant was also helping at least 2 other customers. Their system does not update and you may go there wait for a long time and they may say it s already sold. Their financing rates are super high too even if you have great credit history.
Was served by David Bridgeman. One of the worst dealers I ve ever met. Waited 4 hours for him to do his paperwork and asked the front desk to check on him and they didn t. Has no sense of urgency or competence. With a very unprofessional manager.
The experience at Drivers Select was great. Josh really did give us a lot of useful information. We got the truck we wanted, was pre approved before I even got to the dealership. The payments are reasonable for no down payment. I would absolutely come here again in the future.

Ashton was a wonder to work with! I can't begin to explain how awesome he was throughout the whole process. I found my PERFECT vehicle through DriversSelect online, emailed an inquiry and received a response the same day. Ashton worked with me via text and calls for the few days of pre-qualification since I was located in Austin. We got to exactly where I wanted payment-wise and we were even able to do an "unseen" quote for my trade in vehicle. Not only did they BLOW the other quotes out of the water, they took it in while I finished paper work on the new vehicle.

Absolute best experience I've ever had buying a car! Q. was such a great person to work with. I work in the custom service industry so I hate people complaining about every little thing, so when he would ask a question I was honest and would quickly apologize because I didnt want to be that person. After about an hour Q said look it's ok to be picky, even with the little things, because this is something you are buying for you and i want you to be happy with the end result! I smiled and stopped apologizing and when I walked out I was in exactly what I wanted! Customer fir life!

After reading reviews, I had high hopes.....not so much. Cameron, our sales guy was helpful and tried his best, but the process and the leadership had no interest in customer service.
After looking for 6 months, found a car there and drove in on a Wednesday. The finance manager was supposed to get back with us on terms the next morning (we didn't have the trade-in with us) and I was leaving town that afternoon. I heard crickets and had to leave town before moving forward.
Later that day I finally received the details and wanted to move forward. Being out of town now, I offered to pay the down payment via phone to hold the vechile till returned in a few day. Financing was in place and with the entire down payment offered, they wouldn't hold the car for 2 days. Sales guy asked management to make an exception, but they had no interest. I had to wait 2 days fingers crossed the vechile wouldn't sell.
First thing Monday morning we arrived at the dealership with trade-in. They had written up the wrong car and had to start over, this after I confirmed the correct car 2 days earlier. We were told in writing an incorrect down payment. Had no paperwork ready after 3 days to prepare. We were there 3 long, pointless hours.
They were very aggressive with GAP coverage to a point I got upset. To top it off, the sales guy came out after we'd been waiting for an hour and a half, explained that they had a staff meeting and we would have to wait for the meeting to end to finish the paperwork. After the incorrect car was written up, incorrect paperwork, incorrect down payment, over an hour waiting, we we're expected to wait for a staff meeting? I very clearly stated if I had to wait for a staff meeting, we would walk out. A shocking lack of customer service.
Although we got the car my wife wanted, it was not a pleasant experience in the least. I understand that from time to time things fall through the cracks, but the blatent lack of customer service was inexcusable. Needless to say, I'll never return.

The pricing and quality and selection of vehicles is great The staff and management not so much. For staff that wears "care is contagious" shirts, you'd think that would of been the case. I almost just walked out at some point for the attitude and the very confrontational way of speaking whenever I would ask a question or say no to a service. Mix that with some of the BS they would use to try and sell their services was insane. Idk if I would ever buy another car here, and I don't really recommend someone either unless there is a really good deal.

I just came out from Echopark and I am very disappointed about the customer service of Mark Pederson. He came out to me and my husband (Derek). But he said hi to my husband, but not me (He did not know that I am will be the one who wants to buy the car). I was thinking that maybe he forgot me. But he kept talking and asking my husband, not me again. I felt so weird and so angry about this. I am ok with waiting and the price, but with his customer service is not ok for me. When you are the seller and you deal with the customers, even that they young or old, rich or poor, you still need to respect them and assist them. I did not request you to do anything more. Please be nice and respect people. I am sorry Echopark, but I will never come back to Echopark anymore.
Ok well this was fast 1.30 hrs getting the paper work got my car and guess what 2 days later engine light is on wow have an appointment in 5 day lets see how this goes .? 2016 Chrysler 200 s (29,800 mils) More then a year later and guess what still haven't got my $100 that I paid for the Deductible now my car has 55,276 Miles got the engine light problem fixed and then well the keyless key stopped working never getting a car here a again .
We left Driversselect Auto Park, 2615 West I-20, knowing without a doubt that we had been well served. We purchased the vehicle we had studied on the Cargurus Website. We appreciate the nice friendly welcome, and treatment we received from Nicole Lancey, Sales Representative. She was so helpful w/ a no pressure, and no tricks approach in dealing w/ us. Nicole, even offered us free snacks after realizing we hadn't eaten anything all day. My Wife and I, were impressed with her gesture because she didn't have to do that; She was so thoughtful! I want to compliment Driversselect Auto Park in two areas. #1. Nicole was fantastic and we liked her patience with us. She responded intuitively to whatever concern we brought to her attention. #2. I loved the offer the finance department gave us on our trade-in, and the loan financing was great. They helped to put everything payment wise right where we could afford it. So, We are very Satisfied Customers. Absolutely no beefs!

the cars are great but the process is worse. I asked for the purchase and sale document and all I got is an internal use only price sheet which I couldn't use with DCU. These people gave me hard time.

For all fellow immigrants Don't waste your Time and money on Gas by visiting this place. They will try to mess with you all as much as they could and be rude to the core. The cars may attract you but the people will repel you. Let me share my Experience (Frustration & pain), I got pre approved loan so I went in to look at the cars they offered to beat it or at least match it, but I wanted to go with the same financing as I don't want to run any more credit checks. I liked a car asked for the sale & purchase agreement, which I have to send it to DCU so that they can release the loan. After on call with the salesman for about an hour I got a Document which said INTERNAL USE ONLY. I submitted it to DCU and DCU came back and said this is not valid as it says internal use only. again I was on call with the sales person, his manager and lot of other people JUST to get the Sale agreement. At last they agreed to use whitener and send me the Doc, I sent it to finance company and they asked for the Scanned copy of the car title. Again I tried to reach out to salesman but it was of no use. He wasn't even responding. Vexed with the wait and all the process just because i didn't go with the inhouse finance they made me go through hell. Finally I decided I want to get the car I decided to go with inhouse financing, did all the credit application and again 2hrs of wait the numbers they gave were horrible. It was twice of the rate that was approved by DCU and my credit score is good. I told them this is ridiculous rates, he went in again waited for an Hour and the Manager came out and offered me 1% less in the APR if I could submit an address proof (They try to make as much money as they could on immigrants) this guy is the rudest person I ve seen in the business . I went through this mess because I liked the car and did a 500$ deposit. Don't do that mistake never deposit on the car. They suggested I could refinance, I actually thought about but my heart it better spend more money than encourage rude people. I didn't want to go with them I had enough. I came out looked for a car Found a great one and bought it on the very same day in LEXUS park place. This was a 180 shift in experience. I felt like I was talking to nicest people.
It was a horrible experience, I don't want anyone else to go through the same pain as I did. That's my story Hope it can save the pain of dealing with them.

Did my research online and had 3 cars I wanted to look at when I walked in. Mike Marerro located the cars and we took a test drive in each. I decided what I wanted and he had someone appraise my trade-in and we worked up the paperwork with no hassles, no haggling and virtually no pain. I had arrived at 6pm on a Friday night so had to pick up the car the next morning to give them time to get it ready for delivery. Came in, signed all the contracts etc. gave them my keys and drove off in my 2015 Hyundai Azera in less than an hour on Saturday morning. Best car buying experience to date.
