I just purchased a car from Drivers Select a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to take a second to thank my salesman Derek Greenwald for all his help. He really went out of his way to make sure I purchased exactly what I want and didn't want me to settle! I'm super indecisive and I know he wanted to snatch his hair bald dealing with me, but he never waivered from exceptional service. When things got kind of hairy with the car that I paid the deposit for was taking extra time to complete whatever service was being done, he contacted me from home (on his day off) to give me a status update on the car. I'm not sure if this is a requirement for the staff, but I was very pleased at the least.

Went to this location to buy a truck. Before I got there I was told out the door cost included GAP and their service warranty which I did not need. Then I got the price without all the extra and told them I had my credit union for financing. Test drove the truck with salesman and gave them my letter of approval from my lender for them to email a Buyers Order. Found out the next day they never sent anything over until I called and had them send it. My lender just wanted a letter of guarantee from them before sending a check and they would not do it. Talked to a manager named Jay who was only interested in getting me to do their in house financing which is a way higher APR. Never tried to help me get them a check. They say they drive the prices of their vehicles down but don't be fooled, they jack it right back up with sky high APRs and overpriced GAP and warranty. Do your homework people, my lender gets me GAP for $499 and extended warranty that covers all the same stuff their warranty covers for half the cost. Complete waste of time when we had a check ready to be sent with the asking cost on a truck but because I wouldn't finance with them or add on their GAP and warranty they would not even contact my lender. Do your homework people!
Great experience! I had a vehicle I really wanted and they had the BEST price! Joy Moore was my sales rep and she was prompt, courteous, and professional. She kept me posted on the car and ended up getting something even better!!! I highly recommend if you are looking a clean used car with a really great price this is the place to go!

Very upset with the fact that the car only came with one key. I guess I should have confirmed this before purchasing, but I figured I would have been told this during the buying process. It's a shame as the purchasing process was pretty streamlined. I wouldn't recommend this dealership based on the fact that they withhold this type of information until after the fact and when asking if they could provide me with another key they simply refused. First dealership I've had this type of issue with. It's going to be another $300 to get this issue fixed at another dealership after having spent thousands with this dealership.
They claim they destroyed all of their paperwork when they were bought out by Sonic Automotive and have no record of our Gap insurance...even though we provided them with our copy and everything else they asked for. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and taking legal action if this is not resolved. This is unacceptable. No one answers the phone or emails and they barely wanted to speak when we went up there. Horrible company that does not honor their policies.
Great experience, great customer service provided by Kyle Willett. He was very helpful and enthusiastic about what he does. He got me and my family in and out as fast as he possibly could and gave babygirl some golden fish crackers which she is asking me for some now. Lol I will definitely buy another vehicle with him again. Overall great guy!

My experience at this dealership was surprisingly great. I had a really bad experience at a Kia dealership and decided to try EchoPark, which Im glad I did. The patience, answering ALL my questions, the hassle free~no pressure, and the trust to test drive the cars by yourself was a plus for me and the reason I gave five stars. Everyone was friendly. If you decide to purchase a car from Echo Park I would suggest (1) Pay for it in cash- we used to separate debit cards with no hassle. They accept debit card and cashier check (2) Ask for Charles!! Worst dealership I have ever experienced. Worst customer service and communication by far.
They provide decent service when you are buying a car but after you sign they refuse to respond. I have been trying to get a refund on products that were purchased after paying off the loan. They won t respond to calls or emails. I guess they don t realize I might have been a repeat customer but not with this awful service.

I decided to purchase a 2018 Suburban after test driving several vehicles. My sales rep Marla ran my credit and gave me all the payment options that I have. The price of the suv is around 40,000 & with fees and ttl it should have been around 42,900.00 but when I looked at the total it was over 47000.00. It was due to additional warranties that Marla was adding. I told Marla that the vehicle has only 24000 miles and I am not interested in purchasing additional warranties . She got upset, which was reflected in her tone and body language. I told her if you are trying to sell additional warranties then you are wasting your time with me. She got upset and told me that I don t have to buy the car there if You wish. I got up and left. I will take my $40000.00 plus business to somewhere else.

It s a great place to be honest, I didn t think it d be that big at all, definitely a great place to purchase a vehicle from. That been said, the reason I m giving them 3 stars is for trying to convince me into buying extended warranties, dent warranty, etc, even though I made it very clear for them that I don t any of these extra warranties. What really bothered about that is the fact that I told them how much am I looking to pay every month, and the amount with all of these extra perks was almost 300 dollars more which is totally unacceptable.
Another genuine positive experience. This is our second vehicle purchase from Drivers Select Echo Park. We worked with Tremaine Reeves this time. He was very professional, respectful of our time and very prompt in having vehicles ready that we requested for our test drives. While waiting for numbers from bank, the wife went to investigate the snack machines. Another employee saw her and struck up a brief conversation, the staff is very friendly and not competitive or pushy. If you purchase a snack or soda a good bit of money goes towards their Vogel donations to help feed and educate homeless children.
If you intend to buy a car in cash or pay using the dealership's own financial options, then you should go ahead and buy the car from them. If your want to get a car loan from your bank, then this dealership is not a right choice.
I asked them to check my credit with one bank, their primary bank, Ally, the bank I currently have a car loan with. I clearly told them if it didn't come back w/ the right terms, not to run my credit anywhere else.
Not only did they run it through them, but 5 others, all w/ hard inquiries. I was approved by Ally, the bank I told them to check with. I didn't like the terms, so after I left, they kept running it, including the next day.
They don't care about the people, they simply are all about pushing cars out the door even if it is $300 over where you want your budget.

Did not have the car we set an appointment for. They could have called before we drove an hour and 30 minutes away. Blamed it on a system issue. It happens I guess. Laid back place but they do not have car titles on hand.
I had the most painless experience of buying a car (and this is my sixth car to purchase). John S. was amazingly helpful through the entire process, and it was done through phone calls, texts, and emails. When I arrived at the dealership, all I had to do was test drive, then sign my papers, and I was out the door. The whole process took less than 45 minutes, and I will be a repeat customer. I'm never buying a new car again! Thank you, John S. for everything, from keeping me apprised of the situation to the Uber coupon to get to the dealership, to making it completely smooth! I love my new Buick Verano, and will definitely be back to do business with Drivers Select in the future!

Easiest car buying experience I've ever had. Josh greeted me moments after I arrived despite having other appointments that morning. We took a quick test drive while they appraised my trade in. Josh was extremely friendly. He offered some additional options with the vehicle, and after I declined, he did not push back like so many dealerships are known to do. After leaving the dealership with my new car, I let Josh know that a part seemed to be missing from the vehicle. He immediately let me know that they would order it and have it mailed to me.

They are quick to answer the phone on the sales side but when it comes to helping existing customers, forget about it.
Not to mention they mailed the check for my vehicle late and so I m left to pay off the remaining amount out of my pocket. Will never do business here again. Ridiculous
I cancelled a dent policy that I had questions about (when we bought our car, our salesman left and we were unaware so we never got our questions answered.)
The dent company sent the refund to Driver Select who then called to make sure we hadn't changed our financing bank so the could send the refund to the appropriate place. I was then asked to give them 2 MONTHS to process the refund because they were backed up. To begin, 2 months is absurd for a process that should take less than 2 weeks. The problem is, it has now been over 3 months and no refund.
I have been calling Driver Select since December 24th and leaving multiple messages and no one returns my call even though the voice recording says calls are returned within 48 hours. Finally on December 31st, someone actually answered the phone however all of the finance people had already left for the day. She took my info down and emailed it to Yana who is in charged of cancellations and said she returns on Wednesday January 2nd. It is now January 4th and I still haven't had my call returned and I'm still stuck leaving voicemails.
It appears Driver Select only cars about customer service up until you purchase your vehicle, after that you no longer matter. I'm not sure what is so difficult about returning phone calls and giving an update about a refund. I will never buy a car here again.

Highly recommended! I was put off when i first walked in because I was asked to sit in a waiting area. I'm used to walking into a dealership and looking at cars. It was a 10 minute wait, then Damien welcomed us and we sat down to look at what cars were available through their database. Having 3 college aged kids and moving internationally, I've had to buy half 6 cars in 5 years. I'm an engineer, mechanically skilled and frugal, so I only buy quality used vehicles to try and save money.
Damien was honest, asked good questions and talked through some of the features I'd listed that I wanted. He influenced me in a positive way and helped me match my price point and features. We've had the car for 3 weeks now and it was a great buy! We test drove several vehicles and he really was patient. Please ask for him, you won't be disappointed. Also, we had some paperwork issues after the sale and he made sure we were taken care of! Will be stopping by on my next purchase.

Really enjoyed my experience with Christian (Chris) Torres! I initially visited this location on a Saturday, and my experience was terrible. The representative I was assign to was not attentive, he did not seem to be interested in having me as a customer, and because of this I got an overall bad feeling and left. I decided to come back the following Monday because I really liked the vehicle. Thankfully, I was matched with Christian T.! He was very kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and overall a great customer service agent. At no point did I feel pressure to buy and his knowledge of the vehicle made me feel very comfortable with my purchase. It has been about a month since my purchase, and the car is in great working condition. Im happy I returned and was able to work with a true professional!

Everything was great until the sales associates kept trying to sell me an extended warranty. I had to tell them no about 10 different times, and then I was asked to explain why I didn't want one. It wasted at least 30 minutes of my time and I was extremely annoyed. I went to Driverselect because I didn't want to haggle or get sales pitches. Very happy with the car and price I paid, just be ready for them to sell you extended warranties and make it look like your interest rate will be lower if you buy one.

Good things-
1. Service is good and friendly.
2. Managed properly.
3. Good infrastructure.
4.190 points inspected cars so think the car will be good and I will not see any issues in future.
Things needs improvement-
1. Know more about the car you are selling. Don t sell the car without having knowledge like It s privately ownded, private lease or, rental. At least tell correctly if asked for such type of questions.
2. Don t get bullish on selling Gap insurance and extended warranty.
3. I informed that I and coming to see some listed cars and drove 50 miles took leave. If the car I asked to see is already sold then you must inform us.
4. Car loan is 2 times costly when taken from outside marked as compared from Drivers select

For a used car establishment I would rate it the best I have been to. Staff seems young but prices make up for it. About a 3 hour process.
Would have been shorter but we had put some wrong numbers on the forms. Test drive was refreshing they let us drive it with no expectations when to return it.
Know what you want online before you go. They are volume dealer so don't expect them to hold a car For you.

Ok I m pretty upset about my experience here- my sister got a car here and everything was perfect with it. I bought a car and it wasn t up to standard when I took it Off the lot. I found out a week after purchasing it needed and oil change, four new tires, break fluid, windshield wipers etc. I thought there was a level of standard the car had to be at before driving it off the lot- but obviously drivers select doesn t care about the safety of their customers. I love my car I m just very disappointed that I ve had to shell out hundreds of dollars for things that should have been looked over.

Total rip off. They try to sell you a car warranty before anything. Do not go there if you want a good deal.
The easiest car buying experience ever. There is no hassle. The price is already set on every car in their inventory. No arguing or dealing. Do your research on their website. Pick out your car. Call and make an appointment. If you like the car.... do the deal. Simple. These people are great.
Cars are price to sell, but they are aggressive to keep loans within their network at a very high rate (Wells Fargo) even though I have perfect credit. They also wouldn't accept my loan from my credit union.
My experience with Daniel at Driver's Select was awesome. We had to purchase a new vehicle on very short notice because our car was totaled in an accident. I loved the fact that all their vehicles are less than 3 years old and less than 30,000 miles. This is hard to find in a mini-van! Their no haggle pricing is great, and there wasn't a real hard sale on the extras, although they do try to get to buy additional warranties, but that is expected. We did not have to finance the car, so I have no opinion on their financing deals. The only negative would be that the guys behind the front desk were not friendly or welcoming, and barely made eye contact when we arrived for our appointment. I LOVED Daniel and highly recommend making an appointment with him for your car purchase!

For the most part I had an easy and enjoyable car buying experience here. The salesmen seemed trustworthy (initially) as well as the company. I did not feel like I was going to be taken advantage of. I ended up buying the first car I test drove and was very satisfied with my purchase. My one complaint was the financing process, when my salesman flipped from helping me to what definitely seemed like trying to take advantage by pushing add on coverages, which I did not want. I could tell he wasn t telling me these things for my benefit, but for his own. He kept pushing and probably added 30 more minutes onto the already lengthy process trying to persuade me being borderline rude and implying that I was stupid if I didn t accept the additional costs. I do feel like he didn t fight as hard as he could have to get me a lower interest rate because of this despite my excellent credit. In the end I still did not get the coverage. I would advise to not treat customers this way because we can tell when we are being manipulated and will not come back if we feel this way.
Dean was very professional and easy to work with. Enjoyed the buying experience, would it again if I have to. Looking forward to a similar experience driving the vehicle now!

Me because the guy that helped me was nice. Terrible experience with the sales manager. Im a nurse and was furloughed for 1 month 1/2. I let the guy know this. I sent my check stubs, proof of income. The sales manager told me I was denied because I didn t have a real income due to be furloughed which was definitely not my choice. The other part that got me was that he didn t even know my name when he sat down. He had to go back and check multiple things. The upside of this is even though they denied me I was able to go 20 minutes down the street to CARMAX and get the same exact car approved in less than 10 minutes !

Went to drivers select today to buy a car for my daughter. Decided on a car but found that it had a bad tire. I asked drivers select to replace the tire or take money off the price. I spoke with two different people and they claimed it was up to their standards. Nearly bald tire which will require replacement when i drive off the lot, not much of a standard. Recommend you look at the car you are considering on their lot closely if you are considering purchasing from them.

I liked the no haggle price. But the 30 days warranty is a pure fraud. You better check the car top to bottom before you buy it. I had a couple of issues the day after the I purchased the car and texted the sales person. I did not even get a call back nothing, I took it to the dealership and they took care of the issue under warranty in 2 hours. Yes you save on the price, you get what you pay for.

I drove around to 2 dealers before I found the car Echo Park was selling online. They had the best price in town and the car was very clean. I was able to get my car covered with a warranty and I got protection on the exterior and interior as well. Other car dealers didn t give me the same experience I received at Echo Park so that s why I ll be back to trade in my car for a newer one later. Tariq was great and so was the other staff. Very friendly.
In the beginning, we came in and had our hearts on a specific vehicle. We then realized it wasn t what we actually needed. Salim was very patient with us helped us find the right car for our family. I would definitely go back for a great car buying experience.
I had been in search of a GMC Terrain for about 6mths & finally found one that was equipped with everything I was looking for. I called to obtain information about it & spoke with Charles McCormick. He was very helpful in answering all my questions & making sure everything from the financing to the detailing of the vehicle was hassle free. He made the purchasing process so fast,simple & easy. Definitely went about & beyond & I would recommend him to anyone in search of a car.
Terrible experience from the moment we walked in! Most cars you see online are not on site, so you have to wait around until they bring it to you. I requested a car to be brought over for me to test drive, but they let someone else take a look at it first, their excuse for this was that I requested to see more than one vehicle, regardless of having that specific car as my first choice. The other vehicle was also already on site, so their excuse seemed really implausible. Furthermore, they pride themselves on low pressure and no pushy sales techniques ... UNTIL they try to sell you GAP and other bumper to bumper insurance. Lastly, and most importantly, after purchasing the vehicle I realized that most fuels were low, and that regular maintenance had not been performed. They denied this, changed the oil, and tried to brush off the other issues. Talking to management was impossible even after multiple attempts. Customer service was terrible! it seems like they're in a little brotherhood and have each other's back at the client's expense. I would never recommend them to anyone and I am certainly never going back!
