After getting an re-education on the cars and features we thought we wanted, we ended up staying at EchoPark/DriverSelect most of the day and were helped by Mark Pederson who was constantly on point. Ended up not quite finding the car we needed but did end up buying a car in EchoPark San Antonio the next day. Everyone in the Dallas office was helpful and looked happy to be there. Very impressed and it was worth the drive up there even if we didn't pull the trigger that day.

Lilia was amazing! This was the fastest car buying experience I have ever had. All of the staff were so helpful, knowledgeable, personable and made us feel like they really cared about us getting the best deal. I am a returning driversselect customer and would recommend them to all my friends and family!

Good buying experience. Very limited pay options, so be prepared if you want to pay for your purchase up-front. Worst part of the whole experience was the way-too-loud annoying Muzak suited to a 14-year-old in the lobby.

Well I really felt cheated we were approved that we were approved with less than 10% but we had to return the next day which I miss very much indeed everything was a deception the next day I was approved to 20% of which I did not agree I was told They kept working on my case that they would call me never did it and I call them and they do not answer anything my people do not recommend this place for anyone do not be fooled what a big disappointment ......

Great place to buy a used car. They only buy gently used and sell at a great price. Ernesto did an awesome job and was very patient with me. They are extremely busy so expect to wait.

I cannot say enough good things about Driversselect. My dad purchased a car here a few years ago, so it was one of the first places I looked when I was ready to purchase a car of my own last week. I looked online at their website and also through USAA's Car buying service. Within an hour of me noting my interest in a car, Ashton had contacted me to set up a time to test drive it. I ended up going down the next day, and test driving that first car in addition to a couple others. Throughout the whole process, Ashton was very patient, friendly, and I never felt like I was being pressured to buy any one specific car. I did use outside financing, so I sadly can't attest to the quality of the dealership's finance department, though I'm sure it's fantastic. Being a first time car buyer, I had a few questions and a few things I didn't quite understand about the process - Ashton explained it all and (thankfully) wasn't bothered by the fact that I printed out the wrong paperwork for my loan, and helped me print out the right information.
Again, I cannot say enough wonderful things about this dealership and the people on the sales team here.

My experience of buying a vehicle from Chris Scheu was great. He is very supportive and understanding. Got me a good price as well. The selection of vehicles on their website is very good. You need to be fast otherwise the car will be sold out.

Great car buying experience! My husband was involved in a car accident and his car was totaled. They really helped turn an unfortunate situation into a positive one. The inventory selection, service and process was so smooth that two months later I came back to trade my car in for something new as well. I will say that the best part of the experience on both occasions was working with Robert Brewer. I was putting off/dreading purchasing a new car for myself but Robert really listened to me and went above and beyond to get me into a great vehicle.

Terrible customer service from salesman if you don t have perfect credit. I applied online & only received an email with a few responses. My credit was ran 4 times the first day I applied, then 2 more times 3 days AFTER WITHOUT MY CONSENT or further communication from anyone there!

I m livid! Called to see why it was ran & of course I couldn t get a hold of the salesman who emailed me. Mentioned getting a lawyer involved & he EMAILED me that he couldn t get me approved without $2000 down . (On a $10,000 car!?! No thanks.)

I wouldn t recommend this company to anyone because their business practices are not the greatest.

What an awesome experience I had with driverselect. I had been to several dealerships prior to going to driverselct. I was exhausted and a bit hopeless but that all changed the minute I came into contact with Roberto. Actually driverselct was my last stop. I had my mind made up that if this guy could not get me a good deal then I was through and done. I was a bit short with Roberto because i assumed that he was just going to be another salesman like the many others that i had encountered that had made me many promises. Boy was i wrong. He did just what he said he would do and that was, make the numbers work. He made it possible and affordable for my budget. I was severely upside down (negative equity) with my previous car the other salesmen said there was no way but Roberto made a way and I would just like to say thanks and if there is anyone out there car shopping driverselect is the place they will make a way out of no way.

Our experience here was great. Tyler was really easygoing and straightforward, and there were no games or surprises that I ve run into at other dealerships. I would definitely buy here again!

My whole experience from start to finish was great. They made me feel related. There was no pressure from my salesman Mike Marrero. He had most of the paper work done when I got there. I was in and out in a very short period of time. I am recommending Drivers Select to all my friends.

My experience at drivers select with Charles McCormick was a great one. I had gone to multiple dealerships looking for what was right for my situation. He sat me down in the beginning and helped me understand the DS process. I knew what I wanted going in and Charles didn t try and sell me on unneeded things. I really appreciated that. Everything happened exactly as he had lined out in the beginning and no annoying back and forth with the guy behind the window. I drove away in my Lexus 300h and will definitely do business with Charles again. If you are looking for a car you need to ask for Charles McCormick because he will literally run (and I mean run) to get you taken care of faster.

I love this place I did everything online. My application was done online too. It was a wonderful experience. The wait time was done in the comfort of my own home. I picked out my car online too. Stephen was wonderful he offered t come get me. Which I took him up on his offer. He came and got me I drove half way and fell in love w the car. Which is t one I picked out online. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE they are great!!!

Alvin Hicks helped us out tremendously with our purchase of a new(ish) car. My wife's car was needing replacement and we typically use carfax to search. Most everything was showing up as an option at driversselect, we had never heard of it. The experience when we showed up was great as we called ahead and chose the VINs that we wanted to test drive. I would 100% recommend and will be back for our next upgrade.

We bought a car less than a month ago from this dealership. Let s start with 1. When we picked the car up it had t been washed nor cleaned on the inside. 2. The car was not full. And they had an attitude about the situation and blamed a 3rd party for something they need to take accountability for. Fast forward to this month, my brakes are already out! I bought the car right at 18k miles and have just at 20k miles. I had to call the dealership 15 times (in a row, literally) to get anyone on the phone. When I got a lady on the phone, she wasn t pleasant. And told me since I had put over 1k miles on the car that there is nothing they can do. TERRIBLE customer service and I DO NOT recommend these people nor will we ever buy another car from them.

Great experience all the way around. Jim was excellent at communicating throughout the entire process. Car was exactly as described and it exceeded my expectations. Pricing is straightforward. No tricks. Humongous selection. I highly recommend this dealership for cars that are barely used.

This is the second vehicle i bought from DS, good cars at good prices but they are becoming victims of their own success. This time around the buying process took 6 hours and at times no one checked on us for an hour, when we finally took delivery the car was filthy but we were too exhausted to send it back.
They automatically added a $2500 service contract on vehicle that still had 4 years manufacturers warranty, also tried to charge $800 processing fee but couldn t explain what it was for.
Lastly they said they changed the oil on the car but my mechanic said it hadn t been changed in very long time.

Paul Michael worked so hard to get me into a car that was in my price range and that I would love. It was definitely a no-pressure atmosphere and I was in complete control. Never once did I feel like I was being taken advantage of or that I was going to end up with something that was not what I wanted. It is also helpful that all of their cars are priced below Blue Book value, have only had one owner, have never been in an accident, and have low miles. The building is clean and I was always made to feel exceptionally comfortable. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Josh made it so convenient & simple! He's very experienced. I told him what I wanted & he was flexible with me & delivered! He'll get you exactly what you want or he'll get as close as possible to it. He dealt with the bargaining so that way I just had to come in, sign papers, and I got to drive off in the car I wanted with a deal that was perfect for me. It was the easiest and best experience ever.

Worst experience with Driver select. They tell you that lie that their not like other car dealerships, but yet if your score is not where they expect it to be, they won t work with you. They just give you the run around.

Well organized place and customer service. They didn't have the car I was looking for on the lot, but delivered it within a short time.

The CARFAX didn't show any accidents on record, but a few days after I purchased the car I noticed the rear bumper was a slightly different shade than the rest of the car. Hard to notice, but I think most their cars have had very minor accidents or minor damages, that's how they can afford to sell at a lower price.

We would like to thank Ms Asia Cornick at Driverselect dealership for helping us purchase Mazda 6. Asia is very patient sales person and an amazing individual. She showed us several vehicles that we liked to test drive. She is very courteous and polite. When we selected the car she promptly assisted us with all the paper work. She also went out of her way to find the glasses left in our trade-in. We thank her for all the help and assistance and strongly recommend her.

We've bought many cars at dealerships and once you go to finance you sign these papers seeing the figures in these spaces but you really don't know if they are hiding numbers just to make the numbers look good. We bought our 2017 Jeep Patriot a year ago from this place. Awesome customer service and a great experience. Excellent prices. Unfortunately this week our jeep that we purchased was totaled due to a hit and run...we decided we will go back and purchase another jeep. Sydney sold us our first car. Although I didn t buy a car, it was a great experience. Nicole was very helpful and answered all my questions. There was very little wait to test drive 2 cars and all staff was very polite and helpful. I will definitely come back to buy a car from here in the future.

A couple years ago I tried to buy a new car. I got quickly frustrated after having a few dealers lure me into their dealership to find their inventory was not accurate and I was constantly battling with fees being added that were not discussed. I called Nick at DriverSelect and he laid out the exact fees, no haggle pricing model and reassured me their online inventory was correct. DriverSelect has a model that promotes honestly and transparency while hiring individuals like Nick who embody that. Nick was incredibly responsive and the entire time was very honest and transparent. As long as DriverSelect maintains this model I will buy every vehicle from them and recommend them to every person I know.

I highly recommend Driversselect in Dallas. Their customer service is excellent and everyone there is smiling & genuinely is interested in helping you get the perfect vehicle. Easiest car-buying experience, with this being my 4th vehicle purchase.

My vehicle was totaled and I needed to purchase a vehicle expeditiously. Bruce was efficient (yet patient), had immense product knowledge, and ensured that my essentials for a vehicle were met.

Even in my indecisiveness, Bruce was able to keep me on track with budget, style, and a car that would fit my practical needs. I appreciated the ease in financing and securing a vehicle the same day.

The driversselct team took time to build rapport, were friendly, and were extremely helpful!

This was the easiest buying experience I have ever had. We text messaged Josh Lopez and left him a voice message. I got a call back a few minuets later. The vehicle selected was ready for us to test drive the next day. The price of the vehicle was great and Mr. Lopez did a great job breaking down the prices and explaining our options. Over all they did a great job for us. Explained everything thoroughly and were very patient and cooperative. The entire process took about 3 hours. We believe we got a great deal on the truck and it was exactly what we wanted. This is our 4th vehicle with driver's select - the 2nd with Jeff. Jeff is extremely personable. He never once made me feel stupid when waffling between cars. I had the best experience here! Roberto was very honest and very quick about my approval! I been trying to get the same car for about 2 years! He was able to get myself, my dad, and brother a car all in one week!

My experience with Drivers Select was good and definitely different (in a good way) than the typical car buying experience. It did take much longer than anticipated from start to finish (over four hours), and if I hadn t come in on my birthday it may not have been a big deal to me. I do love the car I purchased but it was very dirty when I originally test drove it, so we asked to have it cleaned, as well as a door dent fixed before leaving. We were assured that it would be. After finalizing paperwork, I was told that it still did not look good, so they would finish up in about 15 minutes. After about 30 minutes, it was complete, but still not up to par with the usual new car detail I would be used to. Right before we were going to leave the sales woman informed me that the car only had one key and it would be $250 for another. It would be nice to be informed of that BEFORE papers were signed or subsidized in the price of the car to have a spare key. Driving it off the lot, I noticed that the gas tank was only a quarter of the way full. I would think a new car would have a full gas tank for convenient and consideration, but I didn t think much of it. Then, a notification popped up that the car was due for an oil change immediately. This definitely rubbed me the wrong way. Spending $30K on a car is no cheap purchase - I would expect it to come clean and requiring no IMMEDIATE action or maintenance. There are mentions in other reviews that they push the extended warranty and do not work with outside lendors, I would agree with both of these. I came in with a pre-approval, but was told it probably wouldn t work, which wasn t the worst thing since the offer from DriversSelect wasn t too far off - definitely inconvenient though. I turned down the warranty twice, but with continued pressure, I ended up buying the warranty since the sales person said it could be cancelled and fully refunded within 90 days. Overall, my experience was good, there were just a few items (most listed above) that I was frustrated with.

I actually cannot think of anything that would have made my car buying experience any better. Roberto was a pleasure to work with. FIVE THUMBS UP!!!

I was skeptical when first waking into Driver s Select. I hate buying a vehicle more than anything. Before it took me days to purchase a car and to get the dealership to offer something I finally felt comfortable with. Josh worked hard to make my time with him as fast and smooth as possible. It was so nice to be in and out in just a couple of hours and actually drive off in my new vehicle. The selection was better than anywhere that I had looked and so was the price!! Straight forward and hassle free.

After doing research online the reviews of this placed seemed great. Got there first thing this morning and told the sales rep Ivan what cars we were interested in. After he "looked up" I guess the sales rep we were assigned to asked us "how serious we were to buy a car since this was going to be an investment in his time" are you serious!?
This place left a BAD taste and we will not be dropping any money with this business. We really had our hopes up that this was going to be a one stop shop.

April 2019: Driversselect Grand Prairie, TX was amazing. I will admit that our first visit wasn't as good as our follow-up visit, so if you aren't getting warm fuzzies from your experience, then say something or talk to a manager. We ended up having a FANTASTIC experience. I can see that the hiccup in the beginning was not reflective of the Driversselect expectation for level of service. I would definitely recommend Driversselect to family and friends. Thank you to Vance and Lisa. You two were phenomenal. Update - August 2019: I went back to buy another car. Lisa, Vance, and Matt were great. They were so patient with me when I had questions, and they seemed to honestly want to help me. I highly recommend Driversselect in Grand Prairie, TX!

Everything went ok. The sales person, Sidney, did a great job leading up to arrival. However, the car we test drove was not the car we ended up driving off the lot.

Apparently, the car we thought we were interested in was not the car that we looked at when arriving and test drove. The car we test drove had a sun roof. The car we left with did not. However, the car we drove off the lot had a VIN that matched the paperwork as well as the ad we responded to. It was just a simple mix up when we arrived.

I notified Sidney and he quickly responded even though it was 11pm. I walked the car the next day and noticed quite a few paint chip marks as well as missing floor mats. I made arrangements with Sindey to bring the car back and he saw that everything was addressed.

I would have given higher rating had this mix up not occurred.

They try and sell every customer a warranty that is marked up $1000 dollars over the price Ally Financial is actually selling the warranty for ($2080 not $2989), they try and sell you GAP coverage that is marked up $600 over what Ally Financial actually sells it for
($199 not $799), then to top it all off they try and sell you Portfolio Dent protection for $400 over the actual cost ($90 not $499). So after they price gauge you for $2000 more than what the add-ons actually cost, then they bump your interest rate 2% points over the buy rate that is actually being offered by the bank that approves your financing. ASK for them to show you the BUY RATE from the approved lender (THEY WON'T). They also state they do not accept outside financing in an attempt to capture your financing with their marked up rates. They also have the ability to offer financing through IN Touch Credit Union, but this Credit Union does not allow them to mark up the rate by two points so they never offer it too customers. If you have a 700+ credit score then tell them you only want to have your credit submitted to IN Touch Credit Union.
My wife and I bought a car here and through Ally Financial at 11.99%, we refinanced before ever making a payment through Texans Credit Union at 6.49%... 5 POINTS DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It dropped our payment $90 and shortened the loan 6 months in length saving us thousands of dollars. I learned that Texans Credit Union will actually provide a Cashiers Check at the time of Purchase effectively circumventing their less than transparent attempts to force you to finance the vehicle using their marked up rates. You can also get a substantially lower rate through Bank of America by going through B of A directly and obtaining a pre-approval letter. They also ACCEPT financing through USAA, Navy Federal Credit Union and PENFED Credit Union. There is also the option to use DCU, Digital Credit Union. All of these Banks will provide you with lower financing options than their JACKED UP RATES!!!
Don't fall for the JACKED UP PRICE on the ADD ONS or the JACKED UP RATES for financing, simply walk in and check out the car and request a Purchase Agreement with NO WARRANTY, NO GAP INSURANCE AND NO DENT PROTECTION. Don't allow yourself to be one of the customers they BRAG about turning your deal into a FULL BOAT in their morning meetings. Don't fall for the BAIT AND SWITCH techniques they use to lure you in with a LOW PRICE then PILE ON $4000 in overpriced ADD-ONS. Follow these instructions and BEAT THEM at their own game!!! They won't be happy about it, but YOU WILL BE when you drive off in a car they tried to price ARTIFICALLY LOW to trick you into the add-ons and to force you into financing with them. DON'T get FULL BOATED, get the car you want at the low price, with your own financing and NO overpriced Warranties or ADD-ONS!!!!

I love the car and my family loves it. Only 2 problems
1. When I was leaving the dealership the bottom part of the car fell and was scrapping across the highway, I had to come back to the dealership for them to fix it.
2. Their is a side piece on my car that is loss now and I am hoping that the dealership will fix this issue.
I will say that my salesman has been amazing and is helping me with every problem that has come up.

Payment calculator is either a lie to get you in the door, or they rip you off on the interest r8. Sales person seemed surprised when I said How much my payment should be. He even asked where I got my number? Like I was way off, when I said off your payment calculator, I was told best of luck! Read reviews found people with same problem. In Texas dealers can change the r8 the bank gives you, they definitely do this. Total cost of the car dealer is the only thing that matters! If they ask you how much u want to pay a month its to fudge the interest numbers you get 5% @ 290 a month but u said u are good @ 320 a month, so now your r8 is 7% and your payment is 320, you are happy cuz u think your payment is right! But you got hosed! SMH

I had a great experience today buying my step-daughter a 2017 Hyundai Tucson for her 16th birthday. I worked with Kristopher and he was friendly, professional, and great to work with. I don't recommend buying a car first thing on a Monday morning however. Even though I already new exactly the car I wanted and had a trade with no lien and I paid cash for the difference, it still took me three hours from the time I got there. Other than that, it was one of the best car buying experiences I've had.

I have purchased two vehicles from Driversselect. First purchased in 2015. Most of my process was done online. Came in, to test drive and pick up a Tahoe. Drive off with a Armada. No problem changing the paperwork. I get an email every year on my birthday. I remembered that when I decided to purchase a new car.

2018, wanted an newer vehicle. Found my same salesman, Josh Lopez. He took care of me again. Yes, I had a little wait but I did not expect a one hour process. I was taking care of and drove off with my vehicle in a few hours because I did nothing prior. This was better than coming back and forth.

Go by and see Josh Lopez. He is very detailed and know my style now. I really will not buy another car from any place else. Honestly!

My Sales rep Gene Kakoma was AWESOME!! I went online and inquired financing. I then received a call from Gene. He asked what i was looking for, how much i was willing to put down, and what i was looking for in a car note. After providing all my info and what i was looking for, he told me he'll call me back. I didn't have to wait days to hear back from him like most dealerships. He kept calling to inform me that he was still working on my application. That was GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I was ready to hear a NO but he called with a YES! Gene was able to get me into something affordable and within my budget. I would definitely buy another car from here. Ask for Gene K. Best experience ever!

Where is the zero star button? My daughter needed to buy a safe, reliable car. We located one on the website for DriversSelect. We made an appointment with Josh to check out the vehicle. We noticed some odd things on the car that was cause for concern and was informed by Josh that the issue was a "manufacturer's defect." Josh proceeded to tell me that the car had a clean Carfax history report and was in perfect condition. Well, that is not the case as you can see below. I have waited a week for Josh or anyone from Drivers Select to return my phone call but sadly, no one did. There is absolutely no worse feeling than to purchase a vehicle and then later learn that it was in an accident. To add insult to injury, Drivers Select is ignoring us as if we did something wrong. Oh wait, we did, we bought a previously wrecked vehicle from them that was not disclosed at the time of purchase. Stay away!

From start to finish was the best experience buying a car. My sales rep Lilia was awesome. VERY helpful, an absolute pleasure to work with. Definitely recommend them...

I bought by car in July of '19. My Sales Rep, DeMeon Washington did a great job and took good care of me. I worked with him for a few days and he was always friendly and responsive. After driving it for a few days I noticed the car needed some repairs. It was difficult to speak to a live person in Customer Service, which is why I'm giving 4 out of 5, but they always returned my calls and eventually took care of the repairs. (I just think they're very busy ) Overall, I got a good deal and they lived up to their word.

Don t buy from here. They sold me a car that has a roach problem. Can never get ahold of customer care and left several messages. When I kept calling someone from another number called me and told me it looked like I had been calling repeatedly and how could he help me. He was super rude and I told him the problem has been ongoing and I have called since I bought the car. He told me 4 months is too long and there was nothing they could do and to contact the dealership. Of course it s been this long because I never received any help. The first month I thought maybe it was just a few that had got in. But No! every month I have seen 1 or 2 and no one has addressed my problem. You can never get ahold of a real person. This place sucks...I should of known from how disgusting it was inside as well. Don t let your children play in the kids area all the toys are broken and dirty.

Update. Can t reply to the comment but definitely have reported them from the beginning. Was told in April it was probably just because of the heat. Nice try though.

They have a great selection of cars but there s a catch: the discounted selection comes at a price. The salesman are only there to facilitate the process of you buying the car. They offer no advice and serve little purpose other than pushing your paperwork through. I bought a car this past Saturday and am having an issue with it already. I can t take it in during the week because I work like a normal human being and I was warned not to bring it on Saturday because that s their busiest day. So what am I supposed to do with this car I just bought that s already got pieces falling off? Very frustrated that it seems they re too busy being unlike the traditional dealership to take care of their customers.

The whole experience was so professionally done and Lamarcus such a great addition to EchoPark Automotive. He truly sold us on everything, so respectfully done. I purchased a 2017' Chrysler 300,a beautiful ceramic grey clear coat,double sunroof,with all the bells and whistles,so in love with my purchase. Again thank you Lamarcus with a job well done....

I was looking into purchasing a new vehicle didn't really have a car lot in mind. I went on to the bank go approved and found the vehicle online. I contacted the dealership and spoke with Robert Bpnner.. He was amazing he had everything handled and ready for me when i got there. I was there maybe 45 mins and out the door. At first the payment were too high but he managed to get them down lower than what I even expected. It was great looking forward to purchasing my next vehicle in a couple of years

Raea was amazing. I spoke with her on the phone when I was looking for my Nissan Juke and she helped me through the whole process. I went in the same day to sign all the paperwork for my car. Because of her I ll do it all over again.

This is my 2nd vehicle from Drivers Select. I worked with Robert Brewer and he is soo sweet and very helpful. Reminds me of my younger brother. Once again they exceeded my car buying experience. The dealership is huge with a great selection of cars and trucks. I am dedicated to them for making my experiences painless.

Sarah O grady has been a fantastic help with the purchase of my new car. Getting me a great deal. Defiantly ask for her if you plan on buying a car.

All I can say is that Kyle Bryant did what any other car lot sales person could he helped get the vehicle I wanted very respectable and also gave me helpful advice he even made my first car buying experience feel great

My salesman was Dan, and this was one of the easiest and stress free car buying experience I think someone can have. Dan was extremely helpful and insightful. He wasn t pushy but you could tell he knew his stuff, so you could rely on him. If I am ever, or hear that anyone needs a new car, I will lead the way to Dan. Would give more stars if I could.

Robert was a great salesman. Knowledgeable, well spoken, polite and professional. If I am ever in need of a car again, I want to work with him.

We've been looking for a new suv for 9 months and finally found Tommy at Drivers Select! They had many suv's we were interested in and made the decision not to look at any other dealerships because we loved the service, selection and top rating of the used cars they offered. After test driving many (and lots of help from Tommy) I got my "hard to please" husband to finally buy a new car! Our experience was better than ever expected. We'll purchase all future family vehicles from there and recommend anyone else who's looking but doesn't want to pain of haggling and creepy salesmen.
