From the moment me.and my family walked in nothing was to much trouble. We wasn't to check in till 3pm so we went for a coffee and explained we was waiting for Thomas land to open and they treated us as if w3 had already checked in we got free coffee and a juice for my 5 year old. The park was great and the entertainment and then room was great everything we needed . Wi-Fi wasn't amazing it you can't have everything. Breakfast the next day was great. We all enjoyed our stay

Good venue, rooms decent size. Sofa bed wasn't made up on arrival and no additional bedding available so had to call housekeeping to organise. Sofa bed should have been confirmed, was dangerous and damaged.

Great

Lovely hotel with friendly staff nice sized rooms. Was happy to hear they had evening entertainment for the kids to help pass the evening. It has a lovely park for kids to play on out side and it only a 2 minute walk to get the the gate of drayton manor.

The hotel was fabulous. Check in was smooth and our room was clean modern and more than enough for our requirements. Booked in for evening meal, the food came quickly and was lovely just what we needed. Breakfast catered for everyone with cereals hot cooked food but also plenty of fresh fruit, cold meats. Overall a great experience to have over Christmas.

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. We stayed in a Thomas themed room. Our children loved it (and the included special breakfast with the fat controller). The hotel restaurant is also very nice. There is a lovely Playground outside the hotel.
Drayton Manor Park is just a few minutes away.

4 stars due to thomas themed room looking tierd. Food excellent. Staff excellent. Hotel excellent. Room was clean good service. Issues with tv and some bits of the themed wall paper was chipped in several places. Otherwise highly recommended !

Room service was shockingly bad - late, cold and wrong, despite our having already complained about it and being guaranteed and reassured that it was a one-off.
The floor would have been softer than the mattress.

The actor playing Sir Topham Hatt this time around (this is our 4th stay) was rubbish - he should be loud and jovial, and this one wasn't.
Overall, a very disappointing visit.

Drayton Manor hotel is a gem in a quiet town of Tamworth. Not as big as i expected but still lovely with amazing decore. Love the wooden panel spiral structure. The hotel has the iconic trains stationed at several corners creating a nostalgic feel to the place. The rooms are clean, spacious and well lit.

Lovely hotel & especially loved the Thomas themed room. Had dinner in the bar which was excellent & good entertainment for the children in the evening. Would also recommend the character breakfast for the little ones.

Hamilton suite Drayton manor, outstanding food and service , the waiting on staff were so friendly and courteous, nothing was to much trouble , the room was dressed beautifully, Lesley our waitress was extremely helpful and professional in quickly accomadating an extra cover on our table . The reception was great. We went to a theme room which was fantastic. Girls loved it and so do we. Childrens beds got their own dvd player so if you take your dvds from home, they can use it The stuff all the time helpfull from the very first to the last. Food was amazing pasta portions (dinner) serves easily 2 women normal appetite (im pregnant and left half). Portion for kids are good size aswell. One bad thing, toilets need to be checked up more often, we arrived around 5pm (not peak hour) and the toilets at the receptio were or dirty and smelly or out of toilet paper!

Pretty standard hotel fairly cheap too. But too the brecfast is the worst! Really is! Avoid the coffee other wise you will spend the day on the toilet!

Really need to sort the brecfast buffy out as well as staff managment. Both mornings they we're way to short staffed to handle the demand for a gross brecfast

Love this fabulous hotel and this location, all staff are friendly with high levels of service. Large size of room good quality of furniture and nice restaurant as well.

Amazing staying here anyway I would definitely be returning when it s possible. Highly recommend!

Easy to get to, good facilities but the audio/video equipment could have been better in the meeting rooms - lots of feedback and a dull projector. Good food and drink provided, the lunch buffet was very good. Car parking was OK but a little bit confusing as it was out of season and much of it was fenced off.

Stayed at the Drayton Manor Hotel for the Thomas Land 10th Anniversary Christmas celebration. We stayed in a family room with a free travel cot provided by the hotel. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The included buffet breakfast was also excellent. The hotel is located right at the entrance to the theme park so you don't have far to push your buggy if you choose to use one. Hotel staff were very helpful when we needed some advice. We would stay here again.

Terrible hotel.

Terrible hotel.

Hairs in bath, uncomfortable bed, unhelpful staff, the tv kept turning off/on again and the breakfast was the worst I ve ever had at a hotel.

All of the food at the breakfast looked like it had been sat there for 10 days under the warmer.

Not worth the money.

Lovely stay in one of the Thomas themed rooms. My children loved the room and the visit to the park in the daytime. The staff were friendly and helpful with us. The breakfast standard was a little disappointing, the cooked foods were dried up.
We would stay again that said!

Staff where absolutely brilliant, so welcoming and couldn t do enough for you. The play area is great outside for children, plenty of space for them to burn off their energy. Downsides where- We booked the Thomas room, let s just say I More

my daughter and son in law booked the hotel for the night at the beginning of april for my grandon's 3rd birthday. The hotel have cancelled the booking as the hotel will now be closed. They refuse point blank to give a refund. This is really not good customer service at all. Surely they are obliged to refund given the circumstances???

Ideal location for spending a day at Drayton Manor...

Ideal location for spending a day at Drayton Manor. Stayed in a deluxe family room which had two double beds. The room appeared no bigger than a standard room and space was tight. The room smelled quite strongly of cleaning chemicals, similar to the smell of a sanitary bin, but everything seemed clean. The reason for the lower rating is the quality of the food. I had to send soup back because it was watery and tasteless. Everything was over cooked or very small portions. The breakfast was plentiful and a wide range of food available but again quality was not great. The kids entertainment was OK but a bit lacklustre. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again but would make sure we ate elsewhere.

The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. My back is really aching after three nights there. Breakfast was cold. Poor stock of wine. Desserts ran out. Long wait between courses. No facilities for adults, ie no gym, pool, etc. Might be ok for families visiting the theme park but not for business. My Colleague had three single beds in her room and despite asking three times they did not remove the put you up bed which is clearly for a child. All in all not the best stay and I won t be using it again for my next business trip to Tamworth that s for sure. Sorry

Shocking. We have contacted this waste of time s**t hole 3 times to get married with a min of 30 rooms in the hotel being taken for our guest and they can't even be bothered to call us back. Don't waste your time here trust us go elsewhere we have and found much better places.

Family-friendly hotel with thomas themed rooms. We had the standard family room which was very spacious and tidy. Its also right next to the park entrance. Enjoyed the stay and would definitely visit again.

We have a 2 year old and a 4 year old over the moon that we are staying in a thomas themed room. The staff are amazing and very kid friendly (even when they are whining and moaning). The park was a massive hit and the evening entertainment was superb in the carousel bar for the kids the guy that ran it (Eddie from the thomas show) is an amazing professional and my hero for entertaining kids of all ages and even the adults . Best family holiday ever.

The hotel is in a perfect location for those going tp the park, it is clean and modern with spacious rooms and helpful staff. We stayed in a thomas room which had an amazing murual of the Thomas the Tank Engine docks and bunk beds. My only advice is to take a bed bumper as even the lower bunk is very high of the ground for young kids.

Absolutely love it. It is the second time I have visited with my son (now 8), and we both love coming. Clean, well kept rooms and grounds, with attentive staff.
Always a pleasure, and my son is badgering me already to go back again.
