We had a lovely room and a lovely weekend, but this was spoilt somewhat by a large group of young girls who where running up and down the corridors until 11.30pm. When I spoke to the lovely lady on the reception she did say she would have a word with them (I didn't need to explain who they were as I think she had already heard them). Unfortunately, this made no difference.

Awesome hotel. Stayed in the Thomas Land themed room which our 2 1/2yo loved. However somone was smoking weed on our floor though and the hallway stank! We reported it and security responed straight away. Not sure if they caught them.

We have been here as a family two times now and both times the service and accommodation have been exceptional. I stay in a lot of hotels around the world as part of my job and I assure you that this ranks amongst the best for these two things. Food in the restaurant for the evenings could be better, it feels like young people making a big effort but quality is a bit low. Full English breakfast however is good. If fully recommend this place to families visiting the park or for companies wanting conferencing facilitate with accommodation

A lovely hotel with plenty of choices of food in the evening and relatively close to even more selection in the local town. The hotel is a great family hotel and we had so much fun there. We would go back in a heartbeat and we likely will in the near future.

Theme park is very underrated as it's just as good as Alton towers. The hotel however is really modern looking but the prices are a bit steep and the beds are very firm. Still had a great time there so definitely visiting again in the near future.

This is purely a review on hotel not theme park.

The beds were super hard to sleep on i couldn't sleep the two nights I was there.
We then had an electricity fault which meant we were upgraded the second night
Which I thought great the beds would be better
Nope, worse if anything.

We ended up the second night instead of eating here going to a local pub called longwood in, they had better sausages then the hotel nice food and the bill was half the price so worth the 5 minute drive.
We weren't told on the phone or arrival that the hotel doesn't accept cash payments and half the park! Which could have been communicated multiple times to us.

Visited 6 years ago and not a lot has changed. Could do with a pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Reasonable choice of food on menus for adults and kids. Typical hotel prices for drinks. Downside is the beds are rock hard and pillows a little flat so not a great sleep, will suit some but not us.

I believe the best theme park hotel the rooms are great and smart and breakfast is 5 stars in its self.
It's a little walk to the park and it's free parking.
It's also one if the cheapest hotel and park stay and play packages around.

Beer tasted of pipe cleaning fluid, chips were cold, pork was so over cooked it was dried out. Soup was fine. Shower was in the bath. Two single beds instead of one decent bed. Staff at least were nice.

Nice hotel,

Nice hotel,
Thomas the tank engine theme,
Loads of kids but there is an outdoor play park to keep them amused,
Very busy with weddings and stuff always going on,

very good buffet breakfast, staff are very pleasant but very slow at bar
Lunch menu is basic and over priced, go to town for food which is a 15 minute walk

Very nice, clean hotel. The only thing that let down our visit was the service we received at the hotel's restaurant 'the parklands' after finishing our main meal we were left for half an hour with no offer of desert or the bill. Eventually we asked the manager for desert menus and ordered our deserts, these then took another 20 mins to arrive. My sons ice cream was almost completely melted and mine and my husband creme brulee was frozen!

The hotel is good and clean. The only let down is the restaurant staff are slow between our plates from our mains going and our desert order being taken was 25 minutes. That's only because we had to chase staff down to take it. This isn't the first time we have had issues with the restaurant. This let down a good over experience.

Nice room , great for kids. However, cleaning equipment left in room along with half empty bottle of wine. Seeing that check in is from 3pm there should be enough time to clean the rooms correctly.

The food was good however the service was poor. The menu in the room was not the same as in the restautant and when i got the tge restaurant my chosen meal was not on the new menu. Not offered a glass for my bottled drink, the sides with my food were forgotten and had to be asked for. The wine on the menu was not available, when the alternate choice arrived a bottle came when asked for a glass so had to send that back.

The staff are all well Presented. Polite and helpful at all times day and night. For example. My 8yr old son was poorly during our holiday. The hotel happily paid for a Taxi to a GP. Then to the local hospital and back to the hotel. All the staff showed concern and wished my little boy better. They could not have done more to assist in his getting better. All rooms are clean well maintained and comfortable. The Garden aria is also well kept. The Service is suitable. Not to over doing it but level. This Hotel goes out of its way not only for the Children but also for the Adults visiting with there Children. The food is good and we'll prepared. The bar is more than comfortable and has an open, spacious layout. The Children's entertainment is good but could use some help. So to support children over the age of 5/6yrs. However the Garden has suitable climbing frames and there is a Football Goal and Ball Supplied. I see this no fault of the Staff Entertainment. It is more what is and is not supplies to Staff to Entertain the older Children.
This is a 4 star hotel.
Myself I would give it 5 Stars.
You can go miles and not find a Hotel that Honestly Cares for its Customers. This Hotel Ticks that Box.
With all the upset of my child being ill. Both myself and he have had a Lovely time. And my Son is already planning on coming back next year bless him....

Used as an alternative to the mainstream hotel options for a one night stopover for work.
All very good, clean, tidy and the staff are very welcoming. Resteraunt & food was a pleasant surprise as well. Good choice & standard
Would definitely recommend & use again

The hotel room was clean and really comfortable. The staff were very good and always ready to help. Allowed me to have as much tea and coffee for my room as I wanted. After a disappointing meal at the Grill inn we went to the hotel restaurant for a cheese board which was actually very enjoyable and not that exspensive either. There's a small Thomas shop at the entrance which is handy. Only thing I found was that there wasn't a gym or swimming pool which is always nice for a hotel but not a game changer. Over all I'd go there again.

Lovely hotel, food was great and comfy bed. No real ales in the bar and they had run out of tonic water. Nice selection of wines and pleasant place to sit. Room was very hot up on the 3rd floor and the fire alarms went off twice, the second at about 3am. It was out of season so a certain degree of benefit of the doubt given.

Lovely rooms and clean. The rooms are quiet and curtains are like blackouts so great for young children.

The only issues i have is the kettle wont re boil, the beds are very hard and the water in bath is boiling - the cold tap doesnt work so couldnt get a shower.
The restaurant is very expensive 2.50 dor about 12 chips

Clean, comfortable and friendly. Literally outside the gates of the park and a 6 quid taxi fare to a big retail park with a nandos and pizza express.
Breakfast buffet was pretty good. Decent outdoor play area to keep the kids busy.

Great for our visit to thomas land. Stayed in a thomas themed room, really worth it if you have little ones. First night we ate at a restaurant called the grill.wish we hadn't. It was overpriced and disappointing. Tried the hotel restaurant and the food was a lot nicer ..

Was attending Drayton Manor with a friend on a Mears day, and thought it would be best to book a room, this was the cheapest hotel by far! Room was simple, but don't need much just to sleep in for a night! Breakfast was included and had a lot of variety to choose from! The location is a little hard to spot when driving at night, as it's not well sign posted, until you get to the entrance, but the GPS does take you right to it regardless! Staff were helpful, and quite happy!

Enjoyable trip. Stayed overnight in the Thomas room with the wife, son and his friend. The rides were all well suited. The only down side is the weather. But they cant do much about that.

We stayed in a Thomas themed room and it was perfect for our family. The hotel was modern and clean and staff were very happy to help. The stay wasn't cheap but it you are going to the park it couldn't be any more convenient. We were all sad to leave.
