The hospitality was exceptional and the room was spotless.
Perfect fun park for small children, especially for fans of Thomas and his friends
The location was reachable without any problems, the rooms were decorated to a very high standard and quality, the colours that were used were to my taste, only issue I had was that to flush the toilet you had go behind the toilet seat. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the surroundings was amazing. I can't wait to go back again. The deal I found was very affordable and great value for money
Nice and clean. Nice friendly staff. Beds were a bit of a let down. You feel every spring! Couldn't sleep more than two nights here. And the cooked breakfast wasn't up to much. Nice bacon and sausage beans the rest was rubbish. Although good choice of cerial and tinned fruit and yogurt, toast and jams.
Great place to stay! Food was fantastic and the Thomas theme was great fun for our kids! Very affordable and great package for Thomas land!
Rooms were very fresh and modern. Decent sized without feeling cramped. Breakfast also had a good variety of decent food. Good night's stay all round.
Very clean restaurant and staff were friendly and polite
Brilliant theme park and zoo. The hotel is beautiful couldn't fault it the staff r very friendly and helpful
Nicr hotel, nice modern looking room, clean, would recommend it
The hotel was immaculate. The staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They checked on us regularly during the meals. We had 2 inter connecting rooms on the 3rd floor as a family of 5 and they were spotless, perfect size and nice and quiet. We hope to return soon.
Dirty cutely, iv never seen sparkling orange juice before (intill now...) had to ask for my drink 3 times even then it was wrong.
When paying there were things on the bill that we didn't even have.
We, two adults and one kid just a smidgen short of 2 years old, stayed here in the "Presidential" room. Which is really not that much more expensive than normal, if you go outside the weekend.
And I have to say, If we ever were to visit Drayton Manor Park again (which we probably will unless our son stops loving Thomas) I would book exactly the same thing.
The breakfast could use some more variety, but other than that my only complaint is that the room was so bloody big I couldn't see the TV from the bed ;)
Good hotel within the park. Breakfast is poor but room is really good. Would go back again with kids as I was there for work.
The actual hotel is brilliant the room was immaculate and the Thomas room comes with extras like a welcome pack and character breakfast and it has a DVD player in the room and to can have 2 DVDs at a time from reception free of charge. However what let's this place down is the quality of the food it was awful chef Mic was definately on shift that night! ( that's microwave for you non Ramsey fans!) cold and poor quality which was a little disappointing as the rest was great. The bar staff could be friendlier too and it wouldn't hurt them to let you know how things work!! My grandson loved the room it made it really special having Thomas in there.
The rooms are luxurious and and the facilities are amazing
We booked the hotel along with theme park tickets for our son's Christmas presents. We paid the extra for the Thomas themed rooms, these we quite spacious and are of the same quality/feel as a premier inn except the beds are awful as other reviews have pointed out. Its a shame that they cannot match the mattress quality of a hotel whose rooms are a 3rd of the price. With regards to the Thomas themed room you are paying for Thomas artwork and 3 extra Tv's (bit pointless) and the character breakfast. My advice would be to stop in a standard room and see if you can purchase the character breakfast as an extra. This is a normal hotel based on a theme park, not a theme park based hotel. After a very long night of discomfort the 4 of us suffering from lack of sleep made our way to the character breakfast. This is your typical buffet style breakfast, but the children get to meet and play along side Sir Topham Hatt, which all the children present enjoyed. All the staff we had dealing with were extremely pleasant and very helpful. We would only consider stopping again if they invest in better mattresses. I'm sorry DMH but I cannot recommend you hotel at this time.
Nice rooms ideal for short stay before going to the park
Lovely afternoon spent at Drayton Manor works Christmas party. Thank you to all the staff
Excellent bar can't wait to try food next time told it's good
Nice and clean, with friendly staff. The Thomas the tank engine room was great for the kids.
Wonderful location next to Tomas Land. Great English buffet. Bed was comfortable. Executive room was a good size.
Great fun for all the family Thomas land is fantastic
Very nice hotel, great location if visiting the theme park, would recommend.
Nice hotel, good breakfast and good food in the restaurant in the evening!
Welcoming staff. Good sized rooms that are fresh and up to date
It was really good, the rides don't break down very often :D
Lovely hotel, would recommend to family and friends
Great for Thomas fans while visiting the theme park
Great place. We stopped of here overnight on way to Alton Towers. Less queues here and the rides were great. Kids loved the Thomas the Tank Engine world. It was of good quality and didn't look tired. We had a 4 and 7 year old. I would recommend this place. We stayed in the hotel too which had a top breakfast.
Christmas party venue, well organised, clean and tidy. Food wasn't very hot when served at the table. The entertainment was excellent, Sherry 4 10/10.
Hotel - staff very helpful and informative. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a good night sleep considering this hotel is family orientated. Parking areas secure. Breakfast was good but not very hot. The disappointing point about staying at the hotel is the check out time 10am. This isn't enough time to shower, have your Breakfast and then pack. More realistic time please, 11am is a suggestion.
We would definitely go back again and would recommend to all.
Here for a work conference. Rooms are amazing and staff are as well. Food is really well made and presented with a lot of the food offered having unique twists and differences. Price of a pint was a bit much outside of the free bar but just about any hotel is.
The hotel is excellent. The restaurant is also very good too.
One night stay for a family of 4. 3 of which have food allegens. The reasturant manager came to see us personally (not at our request either) to go over the menu to see what they could do and it made our stay even better.
It was an enjoyable visit and the entertainment would be highly rated.
Very nice hotel lovely room with a nice view over the park great food very good service would go again
Just want to give a big thank you to leann the duty manager. I have left my tablet in the restaurant the night before so in the morning I went to the reception to see if anyone had handed it in, I was told no and to try the restaurant, so I went for breakfast and asked again o ly to be told no. When I checked out I thought I would leave my details incase it was found, this is when Leann said I have it here. She was very helpful and when I explained that was the third time of asking she was very good to explain how she found it. I did feel like the other people I asked didn't really look as it was in the draw at the front desk the whole time. Will definitely be going back
Another fab day at Drayton Manor with grandson and marvelous stay at the hotel. Spotlessly clean comfortable rooms
It's a really nice hotel and the rooms are very clean and look good inside lots of room also in the bathroom
Our kids had a great time staying in a Thomas room at the hotel. They loved the entertainment too. Evening food in restaurant was OK - again kids were very happy. Breakfast was a bit of a let down. Staff were friendly and helpful.
This was great for under 10's you would be disappointed if you had older kids 4 rides shut. Food was fairly priced. The grill was amazing Rachael made it extra special as it was our daughter's 7th birthday, the staff sang happy birthday was candles on her dessert and name and age written around the plate. Great time had.
I stayed in the Thomas themed room absolutely brilliant.
Comfortable rooms, pretty quick check in/out and friendly service. Breakfast standard but good. Evening meal..... hmmm went for the chicken and ham pie with vegetables and mash, there wasn't any gravy so meal was dry...and roast Parsnips and Swede in August wa s a little odd. The Beef again was dry, presented in a ring and again no gravy... and same winter veg. Child meal very standard dry nuggets, dry burger. Luckily we didn't expect a lot and weren't disappointed. Thank you for the balloon lady you saved an otherwise bland evening.
Very nice hotel. We stayed in themed Thomas Tank Engine room. Kids loved it
Great family friendly place, comfortable and well organised
Lovely hotel! Was no queuing for the park, as we booked an overnight stay. Free parking. Lovely, clean rooms.
Rooms standard, nothing special. Location perfect for the park. Breakfast all cold, not good at all.
Fun and thrills!! Height restrictions are strict but still fun for all!! The zoo is brill
Good clean hotel and good breakfast would recommend
Suite I stayed in was very clean, tidy, modern. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was lovely in the summer heat! The shower had good pressure and the bath was big enough to comfortably lie in (im 5"6 so it might vary for others). Only let down was the breakfast could have been a little hotter.
We stayed on the 10th of August for one night for our sons birthday . Very clean and comfortable room and a nice restaurant. The next day we went to Thomas land and had a great day. I would like to thank the staff at the hotel. After we checked out during our park visit I started to get a migraine. I asked at the desk if there was anywhere I could lie down as I was feeling awful. The lady behind the front desk was brilliant she asked if a single bed was ok and she sorted me a room key so I could lie down in a dark room. Absolutely fantastic customer service as people who suffer with migraine know its one of the things that really help. A massive thank you for that and a lovely stay
All the staff went above and beyond to give my little boy the best birthday weekend ever
Lovely welcome and very comfy room. Sarah the restaurant manager is wonderful and made our stay.
Very enjoyable experience and loved every minute of it apart from going up on every floor to take photos of the steam engines and petty thay didn't have the number one engine and also enjoyed the theme park lots to do and lots to see
Everything you'd expect from a hotel, and fantastic location for the park. Parking on site felt secure and a very easy walk across to the theme park. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were both good. Staff were great and welcoming towards children.
Just returned from this hotel
There was a party of 35.the bar staff were the most incompent rude people i have ever vome across.especially a girl named Katie. Talking to other staff members about us while we were in earshot.the same order was sent back three times because they couldn't seem to get it right
Kids desert brought out before ther6 dinner .and she wasn't happy when we question ed it
Service was extremely slow..they couldn't seem to cope with that volume of people .I certainly will never be returning again
Deirdre Downes
Absolutely lovely food and very clean and tidy rooms. Amazing themed rooms espically for the little ones. My son had an incredible time.
Great staff in hotel but restaurant staff forget you are there. Garden and play and closeness to theme park is brilliant. All in all really nice and would stay here again.
Ok for money can't book online on the day much cheaper online take own food
Drayton manor is good cuz you have got rides to suit everyone and you dont have to wait long to go on the rids which makes you calm and happy:):)Xxx
Food was pretty bland, staff nice room ok, breakfast was a disaster
Dranton maner is the best and it is in birmingham cool
Very nice location, helpful front of house. Food took a long time from restaurant, and not a great menu selection.
Very good price. Very clean hotel. Lots for kids to do. Breakfast is pretty standard.
Good hotel. Excellent access to park. Good restaurant food. Breakfast was good but had to wait as couldn't cope with large numbers of people on that particular weekend.
No atmosphere, food was superb but otherwise was not the best experience
Nice place to stay with kids! Near to the theme park!
Stayed here on 23rd December beds had wee and blood stains all over them , told reception, waited along time for anyone to do anything about it so ended up checking out as kids were tired Not helpful at all as we waited so long for a response and the only one we got was im sorry, staff are so incompetent no one seems to know what to do .
Lovely hotel for my son's 3rd birthday. Staff made it very special, the breakfast with Sir Topham Hat was very nice!
