There is hardly anything other than trouble with DPD delivery staff. Once again, I just threw the package over the gate so that I could hear it bang myself in the apartment (of course they didn't ring). Parcel messenger then confronted and I have already told this same gentleman several times in the past that he should refrain from doing this and ring the bell. Same excuses as always, he only means well so that you don't have to pick up the package from the warehouse. That's not necessary because I was at home. In addition, he has informed me that he will no longer try to deliver the parcels in the future and that I will then be able to pick them up from the warehouse. I've had enough now and that will have consequences. Not like that ... DPD should really be ashamed of itself here.
I am always happy when I see that my parcels come with DPD then I know that they will arrive without damage. What I also think is good that you can see live where my package is right now and you can adjust to when it rings.

No matter what I order, there are always complications. I only saw through the tracking number that the parcel had arrived, no ringing, nothing at all. I was at home all day.
Allegedly address not found, the address is a kiosk with the address on a 3mx0.6m sign. Called DPD and told them that it was the kiosk, no delivery the next day despite confirmation. Only after I changed the address myself "give it to the neighbor" (same address only with kiosk as an addition) did the package arrive.

DPD is a French company. Reliability on this "service provider" is extremely poor. Unfortunately very disadvantageous for private individuals. When delivering to companies, it works much better because of the regularity. Seems to be due to the driver's lack of orientation. Suppliers use DPD to transport dangerous goods in spray cans. Unfortunately, some suppliers do not get involved with any other freight forwarder. The tracking APP does not work reliably either. If I ever get a report, I have to put the driver on the street so that the package can be released. This time I had to wait for a parcel from 5th to 7th August 2020. Report on 07/08: recipient not found. No trek report on 06/08. Vehicle just drove away. On the 7th I had to wait about 15 minutes for the driver at the parked vehicle. A second package to me was also in the vehicle. This without tracking message. This delivery quality has existed for several years.
Apparently the deliverers always deliver to a pick-up station. No information is given when and where the delivery is to be picked up. You have to start researching yourself ... Worst parcel service provider WHERE there!

DPD is currently the purest disaster when delivering parcels to our address. There may still be a bell and then the package simply _schmissen_ in the public hallway of the apartment building.
Great when you come home and the package is on the doorstep where everyone can take it. Folks, it doesn't work that way, in the worst case I have the duty to prove that I haven't received it. If no one is there then try the neighbors or drop them off in the parcel shop.
So far I've actually been rather critical of DPD. But now I have to correct that. The delivery was fast, reliable and DPD puts the parcel at the front door without ringing the doorbell unnecessarily and notifies me on my smartphone that it is in front of the door. Anyone who complains about this should think about their sanity or finally get a smartphone. The delivery services would be a gigantic super spreader for the virus. 2 days latency, delivered to the wrong place (to home, instead of the redirected place). Out of all 4 deliveries (in 2 different countries) I've ever had with them, all negative. Trying to look out for sellers only who are not using this delivery 'service'
Wouldn't like to give a star for something irresponsible. Received a package from DPD. The doorbell rang a minute later and I was standing at the door and there was no one to be seen. I looked down and there was my package and, as I said, nothing to see from the deliverer. If I hadn't been at home the package would have been there and the next one who comes will take it with me ... not possible. Despite the current pandemic, you could have waited enough distance to accept the parcel.
Every time I have to wait for a parcel from DPD, I feel completely different. If an email arrives shortly afterwards with a request for permission to park, I can no longer hold on to myself ... Parking permit issued for balcony, deliverer was not there can be occupied. Balcony is still under surveillance, allegedly delivered several hundred euros damage on the balcony. If you stuck the goods here, make a theft and report fraud against the deliverer.

Always amazing how the goods are delivered by DPD here. Some employees come through the hedge from our garden or run between cars in the carport. Not able to speak or write in German. Just sad.
One star is still too many. Under all sow. Package is expected. since you already know the deliverer here, no storage location is specified. AO has now been specified in the past and damaged packages have been placed there or the packages have inexplicably disappeared. The doorbell rings, I immediately run to the door. If the package just stands on the step and I hear the car door slam and the driver roars away. A short time later it is delivered from AO. That would NEVER be approved. Can only speak for the Nuremberg location where I receive my parcels and for their drivers. I'm quite happy with DPD. Announced shipments also arrive, the drivers are actually always friendly and punctual.

The driver did not bother to ring although I was home, left the box at the building entrance instead of apartment door (we are 28 apartments in total!). Totally irresponsible. At least he could ring from downstairs and tell me to come pick it up before someone else does! Glad I checked online to know the box is left down there. Never again with you DPD.
As always, delivery is delayed, even though you have chosen a desired date. In addition, I called again that I should be called before the delivery, because otherwise I'm not at home. The customer service was very friendly and it gives you the feeling that things will continue to go well. But no. It goes exactly the other way. I received an email that the package was successfully delivered and then unsuccessfully searched everything around my house for the package. It wasn't until five or six hours later that the mystery cleared up when a gentleman who lived three streets away from me brought the package past. Not only did our street names and surnames have nothing to do with each other, we also didn't know each other and he didn't even live in the same house number. For him, the package was placed on the doorstep for everyone to see. If the gentleman hadn't been kind enough to bring it over, I would never have gotten it.
