The price, decor, staff, and service are all a great value in a prime Manhattan spot!
The price, decor, staff, and service are all a great value in a prime Manhattan spot!
Awsome stuff here only, greeted with a warm cookie at check in. Then a great room for decent price and excellet and nice customer service here!
Very bad hotel. 180$ for a night and 15$ for internet access. What a joke. No fridge. No coffee maker. Tv loosing signal. Toilet door falling a part. Reception not answering calls. First and last night.
By the way. Dog in next room was barking all night. Lobby full off people because free wifi there. Keep them close to the bar?
It wasn't guilty dirty, but it wasn't 4 or 5 stars either. The service was horrible - not what I expected, especially for an expensive suite.
The front desk service was okay. I booked a room with one bed and when I went up to the room I notice a low bed and shower head which I then realize it's a room for handicapped. When I requested to change it they said they had NO ROOMS available for me that night and offered me an "upgraded" breakfast voucher so I accepted it since they would change it the next day. But when I turned it in at breakfast I just come to find out its the regular breakfast everyone else gets as well!!!! I really I thought I was getting a little compensation for the mistake but no it was just a slip of paper to help the client feel better for the moment. And finally when I requested the new room the next night, it took over 30 minutes to get prepared (I think the manager was busy in the back) which I understand but the request was made over 12 hours ago!!! The breakfast host/ess and staff however were very friendly and stupendous with their service. The upgraded room was nice but like mentioned, the effort to give the client what they paid for gets 1 star!!!!!
Clean hotek and has the 6th line right beside the building and the E line 2 blocks away.
I think NYC queen beds are smaller than queen beds in the rest of the planet. But the location is great, the staff are helpful, and it's not as loud with traffic as we feared. Great spot, would recommend.
WE HAD BED BUGS !!!! and the hotel didn't care that much. We had to leave the hotel as they didn't even kept their own process of getting us another room and lied about it. worst service ever. The worst.
Other than this horrific experience (which wouldn't have been such a big deal if the hotel was behaving in an acceptable manner) I wouldn't even give it 3 stars hotel rating. Outdated. Everything. They even wanted internet to be paid. What are we in the 90s ?!
The price was very good for being in the heart of new York, the only problem i had was the room not having a mini fridge inside
Good size of the rooms and nice bathroom. The bad thing is that it does not include breakfast but I paid a good price so no problem.
Nice hotel, centrally located in the financial district. Nice walk to Times Square and just about anywhere you want to go! Rooms are smaller but that's to be expected. Nice accommodations all the way around.
quality low money.
Probably you pay the position attached to the meter
I was only here for a meeting but everyone was pleasant and the atmosphere was nice.
Good beds, great customer service, great rates, great ideal location I would start there again for sure,
Cute very central hotel in New York with metro stations on the corner of the hotel
Decent hotel, 150 for Friday night in February. Good location.
It's a convenient location but no real view at all so they should stop selling the idea of a high floor cause it's all boxed in with building right up o you... zero view
This place don t deserve even one star! We stayed in very small room with dirty and smelly floor! The heating and air conditioning didn t work! So I have to call the front desk and they send us a portable heater at 4 am!
The location is nice, the room is clean and comfy. The staff are nice. I just dont like the air freshener they are using in the lobby.
Really good hotel. Very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Beds comfortable and in a good location
Ok but bathroom needed some attention, like door would not close and need redecorating
An affordable and well located NYC hotel with polite and helpful staff.
Excellent location for nearby shopping eg Times Square & Macy's Store , walking distance
So there's a banging noise in the room (presumably the water heating) goes off eventually. No WiFi in rooms unless you pay. However that said beautiful rooms. Friendliest staff. Warm welcome. :)
Reception personel not motivated. Rooms basically good, but not worth Hilton
Love the staff, they made our stay amazing. We came in after our wedding and the manager noticed we were...kinda parched and brought us 2 bottles of water...its little things like that which makes me appreciate a hotel. The room was very clean and the maid staff made sure that I was happy. I will definitely recommend to any friends and family.
Conveniently located near some recurring events that I attend professionally. But the remaining aging amenities are mediocre at best. Elevators need maintenance, more than once have I stayed in a room that wasn't clean (cigarettes behind the nightstand, stain behind the tub curtain) or needed maintenance (paint bubbles, doors not completely sealed).
Nice location, 10 minutes walk to Top of the rock observatory, 15 minutes walk to times square. Subway is a few steps away. Rooms show some wear.
Nice hotel with reasonable prices in Manhattan. Rooms and beds with good size.
It was good. I ordered a room and I got a room. There was nothing wrong with it. They gave out cookies at check in which is pretty cool.
The staff was friendly, the room area secured, and at a great location for the metro and traveling. It does not have a lot of embellishments, but is comfortable. Good shower heads and water pressure. It is a reasonable cost for the location.
It is clean and the bed is ok but the rest is pretty worn down, very nice staff.
The location was great. Nevertheless, the warmth of the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel add value to the money is definitely worth a place.
Great hotel midtown!! Just wish there was an airport shuttle.
Do not stay here!!! Had to switch rooms because bathroom wreaked of mildew. New room- same problem!! And don t expect to get a smile from anyone at the front desk. God awful experience!
Update for new room: not only does it smell like mildew like the first room, but the thermostat seems to be stuck with the heat on high. Thermostat reading is 80 degrees but set at 71. Thank God it s winter and I can open the window to cool down the room.
Very good facilities in the center of Manhattan, excellent location and comfortable rooms
Good location in downtown Manhattan, a hotel like a hotel ...
Bathrooms were clean, could have benefitted from additional stalls. Only other thing I'd say that's a knock on the hotel, the cookies were a bit hard when I was there. Other than that, service and presentation were fantastic
Met up with a old friend from school who was visiting NYC. The hotel was close to grand central so getting there was easy. The hotel lobby and bar were very nice and quite swanky. The room my friend was staying in as a nice cozy room with modern furniture and a good view from her window. She enjoyed her visit to New York and was quite pleased with the hotel and it's location.
Nice bsr hotel rooms sre always vlean an extra tissue supplied and temperature is pwrfect when entering the room. Se urity is good too..
The hotel is in a great location, and that s about it. Otherwise it is a substandard hotel that appears poorly maintained and managed. Upon check-in we discovered the thermostat in our room was broken and the shower did not work properly, so we were moved to another (significantly smaller) room. The shower was no better in the second room. Both rooms were filthy, but the second was far worse. The bathtub and bathroom floor clearly had not been cleaned (see photos) and the bathroom also had a foul odor.
On a separate note, the continental breakfast was mediocre at best and our server was incredibly rude to us so much so that another guest at an adjacent table made a comment about it to us and urged us to file a complaint with management.
We are Hilton HHonors Gold members and will not be returning to this location again.
Good hotel with a great location, bit expensive for the experience they deliver
Excellent location: it is just over 1 km from the extraordinary Times Square. Opposite a very comfortable Starbucks where you can have breakfast. The room I occupied was tidy and clean but the size bathroom left a lot to be desired.
Terrible service. Incorrectly added charges to my room, as well as others staying with our group. Locked us out of our rooms in an attempt to force us to pay for the charges. Then when trying to resolve the issues were incredibly rude and indignant refusing to admit their fault. (They were saying we had additional charges from breakfast even though we had vouchers for the full breakfast and could not eloborate on what they were for and resorted to speculation). The security guards were indignant, and aggressive when unlocking the rooms, bordering on suspicious by arguing they were not in the rooms.
Rooms were sub-par and not very clean - this matched the interior of the hotel.
Finally, I never received a cookie!
Excellent hotel! Very comfortable, very well located!
Stayed here for one night on a business trip, no issues. Standard hotel service. The gentleman at the reception was very pleasant. Nice room on the 7th floor. I'll stay here again if can.
Accommodations we're great. The staff is very pleasant and inviting. There's a bar with great drinks. And they provide you with a card to get you 15% off of some of the surrounding restaurants.
Not on par with typical standards of a Hilton product.
The hotel location is very convenient and updated. I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade to a large suite with a terrace. My front desk associate Vicki treated me exceptionally well and stood out from everyone else. Highly recommend this hotel (and look for Vicki!)
I recomend this hotel to all of my out of town friends
Good rooms, disappointing reception service.
Breakfast at U $ 30 per day, per person.
Good stay here. Near amenities. Good thing they allowed extension of stay in same room when flight was cancelled due to snowstorm!
It's a decent hotel, good location. The bathroom had an odd smell when it was steamy. The lighting was quite harsh. I thought it was super drafty but turns out the last person left the window open a bit. I didn't find it until the morning I left.
HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!! Reserved my room LAST SUNDAY!!!! FIVE DAYS AGO!!!!!! Only to get here and be told they have NO QUEENS OR KINGS and gave my room away!!!! Then stuff us in a full size bed and TINY room the woman helping us pretty much said OH WELL... here s your keys
Rooms are OK. Any room they consider accessible have mini showers so watch out.
I visited someone their great experience in and out
Didn't clean my room for 2 days and then proceeded to lie about not cleaning it from the manager
In autumn, the temperature in the room was 80 degrees. Tried to change the temperature, but the room's thermostat was broken. Complained to the front desk, but they said that the entire hotel is at 80 degrees, and all of the thermostats are inoperable.
No coffee anywhere in the hotel! Only if the restaurant opens (which is limited hours). What hotel does that? Coffee isn't that expensive!
Water pressure in the room is not regulated! They did not have an ADA toilet given in the room, very uncomfortable!
The hotel uses powerful fragrances on each floor, to mask something. It's so powerful you can taste it!
Good morning from Spain, my husband and I, we were this December, between 19/23, celebrating 40 years of marriage. We stayed in room 843. Our experience has been unbeatable, and our wish is to congratulate all the staff. The cleaning of 10 out of 10, super correct reception, Messrs. Of the great suitcases, Mr. of the entrance very nice. The very comfortable room, excellent location, in short, our expectations were exceeded very favorably. I extend the congratulations, the staff that attended me in the hotel shop, I am missing nice adjectives, also for them.
Sewage coming out of the sink, bad mood and bad service of those responsible
This Hotel went above and beyond for my daughter who wanted to give her best friend a nyc adventure after beating cancer. When she had a little miscommunication they helped her out in true New Yorker Fashion so that she could go home happy. Nick the manager is a heartfelt and helpful person well deserving of his position. I cant thank you enough.
good location and very large hotel rooms, especially for NYC (only got a cookie on check in)
Good location and fine service. Could have been better for the price range.
Great location. Terrible services and tacky decor.
Location is spot on for sight seeing across the city, that's the only positive.
Room will be outdated with very poor quality bathrooms. Don't expect any tech to work, you'll need to pay elsewhere to print return boarding passes. Staff not interested.
Love NYC and will be returning again as soon as possible. Will be giving this hotel a miss. Not worth the money
Friendly staff, took a little long to check in, but they were busy. Room was neat and clean. Not a big deal, typical hotel room, but clean is good. Sheets were nice and clean . Plenty of room in closet also a safe for valuables Valet service too. It s convenient where they park you is right around the corner, not 10 blocks away, like a lot of hotels in Manhattan. This is great in case you need to get something from you car. I e stayed at double tree in Colorado (Denver) and it was a bit nicer than this one in midtown Manhattan. I d give that one 5stars. All and all it was very good.
rooms were small, but everything was clean and as expected
