Booked this hotel for a small weekend vacation. Finding it was no problem. Check in went quickly. Lobby was nice and we got free cookies during check in that were probably the best cookies I ve ever had. Our room wasn t spacious but had soft beds, a nice TV and a desk. Also included a closet and the bathroom was more than adequate. We had dinner one night in their diner which had some pricey items but also regular priced stuff. All of it was good and the service was great.

Wi-fi worked fine for me and was streaming videos often. Spent some time in the pool and hot tub which was relaxing. Water was salty though I think that is intentional. My only issue with the hotel was parking and trying to find a spot. Parking lot is kind of cramped as well.

Told Alexis the front desk rep that my TV and fridge were not working..came back 2 hours later to ask about it and the next person in the shift (who could teach Alexis a thing or two) called maintenance right in front of me and they told her she never asked the first time could be an anomaly but earlier I asked her what the WiFi password was and she was snarky..she probably just a bad apple.Otherwise it's a beautiful place

Been there twice once for work and once to play. Both times service at front desk was subpar. No direction and not customer oriented. Here's a tip even if your telling someone no, give them an option to back away gracefully. How is on you

We opted to have the breakfast included with our stay and was well worth it for the selection of breakfast items. Unfortunately they were still remodeling parts and we didn't get to visit parts. The only negative was with the room layout based on the pictures was different than the room we were in, but overall it was a relaxing stay close to a lot of dining and shopping.

The worst hotel I've stayed in. Not just the worst Double Tree, but the worst hotel. The rooms are small, cramped, and outdated, not to mention lack of any sort of a fridge. You pay for your room and that is all you get, no continental breakfast, no morning coffee, no wifi. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, nor will I ever stay there again.

The hotel is nice and the service was very good but the room could have been better for the price you pay. I have been in hotels of lesser category and I have paid much less for rooms that look better and have more space.

What a great hotel just outside downtown! The staff has been great from check in and every other step along the way. Nice rooms and a nice lobby area. The hotel bar is great and hopefully we get a chance to hang out in the sports bar on Sunday!

The hotel was, but undergoing renovation. There was no mini fridge or microwave in the room, and the water pressure was not strong. These are things that are found in most basic cheaper hotels.

Nice hotel, great mountain view from the room. My 2 issues are that the rooms don't have a refrigerator, and the elevators are the smallest elevators I've even been in (4 adults + a baby in a car seat had to squeeze in). Lots of nearby amenities including some restaurants within walking distance and the cafe downstairs was also fairly decent.

Was not impressed at all for the price. The rooms were nice and clean but did not have basic amenities for a hotel. Only 3 towls in a room , and no microwave. Was told by front desk it would be a 10 dollar charge for a freaking microwave. Had to leave all the food I bought because of the no microwave. Was not going to spend more money at a grade d restaurant for overpriced hamburgers.

A line kept me up most of the night even, no scenery at all. I understand this was built back in the 70s but really? Hotel also wanted to charge extra for internet usage, which if this would have been a business trip I would have been not too happy. Bathroom fan wouldn't work, and toilet only half flusbed. In a sketchy park of town I recommend not going to this place at all.

The hotel is good. Staff has been friendly. Definitely do not order the nachos! After 20 min they delivered me a plate of cold nachos. The chicken was cold. The cheese was cold and congealed. It looked like it had been spooned out of a jar from the grocery store. I returned them. The next set that showed up didn't have any meat on them and were on a standard dinner plate. The first set was on a small platter. This time the cheese didn't look so congealed but wasn't very warm either. Really poor job on the kitchens part! Paid for my beer and went elsewhere for dinner.

ROOMS:

ROOMS:
The carpets have ugly patterns like most hotels, but the room tv is very large and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are average in every way. Most rooms have a good view.

FOOD:
The restaurant food was great, and the dining area was decorated very nicely. They have Starbucks which is good. I recommend not eating the pre-packaged muffins for breakfast, as mine was freezer burned.

OTHER:
The reception area is very nice, and they give you free cookies when you check in. You can also get free bottled water.

Very friendly efficient staff. Rooms large and well equipped. A little out of town but plenty of eateries within a couple of blocks. Shuttle to the metro where you can get direct to union station one way and the airport the other.

Has to be the best hotel I've stayed at yet. Everyone is always polite and eager to help not only the guest but one another. Just outstanding. Will continue to book here and so will many of my family and friends and colleagues. Thank you Hilton.

Very bad start. Room I paid for months in advance was given away, so I had to spend the night in a run down motel. Fortunately, Double Tree made amends the next day. Over booking is not an excuse to give a room away that was booked and paid for. This happened after a nightmare travel day. It is a stain on a hotel that otherwise could not have been a more enjoyable experience. Stop that policy and u get 5 stars from me.

It's confusing because there are two Doubletrees within a half mile of each other. Otherwise the main areas were very nice. Elevators are cramped. Rooms were okay, but the wallpaper was old and dirty in spots.
