It's was a busy vikings game day and they had only one person to check people in we waited 20 mins in line just to check in. Other then that the room was clean beds were comfortable. Wish they had vending machine with snacks we got home late from the game and had skipped dinner and everything was closed.

Room is decent but staff seem particularly unorganized. "Security" turned away a valuable package that was coordinated by the front desk. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values consistency.
I recently attended a leadership conference here. If you're not familiar with the building getting to the main entrance can be confusing. While the wasn't much to look at the interior was done rather well. I'm guessing the was an update to it recently. The coffee, fruit, and breakfast was rather decent and I didn't hear of any complaints about it. I can't speak about the rooms as I didn't stay in one but from what I did see I would definitely spend the night.
This is an upscale hotel with a restaurant and a bar. They also offer concierge services for guests. I would recommend this hptel2to anyone and everyone
Steer clear of their bar. One beer and rail drink was close to $20. This would normally be priced at $10 in this market. They obviously don't want people drinking here (unless you are on a corporate card). There is a TGIF right next door, walking distance.
General disrepair, lots of drywall damage throughout. Loud at all hours of the night on a weeknight. Staff was generally friendly with a bit of a personal repertoire.
This is a huge Doubletree. The rooms and public areas are semi-remodeled, like most other Doubletrees. I appreciate that Hilton reuses old hotels and rebrands them with a remodel, but they could have spent a little more money on this one to update some of the clearly old materials and finishes. It is nice that they offer a lounge for the guests with status because it is a perk rarely found at Doubletrees.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff at Double Tree take care of their guests! From the moment I checked in everyone was kind, courteous, and professional. Any questions that I had were answered with a smiling face. The amenities and services of Double Tree are outstanding. This hotel and staff should be used as a perfect example of customer service that goes above and beyond! The warm cookie at check in is nice too!
Great food and service but there are few things I want to say about there Hot Tubs, I got infected by folliculitis bacteria after using the hot tubs at the hotel. this bacteria comes from hot tubs and warm pools that aren't treated regularly or thoroughly.
Went there for a conference. The facilities were nice but could use done updating, especially in the conference rooms where the projector equipment was replaced with portable projection instead of high quality overhead projection mind most facilities.
The pool and atrium area is so lovely. I travel frequently, and Doubletree is always a great choice, especially the wonderful bedding! Mike at the front desk was especially outstandling, showing professionalism and courtesy that frankly you don't see so often these days. Thank you !
Beds are super comfortable and clean. Rooms are a little dim even with all the lights on. Staff was awesome and gave me a cookie so that's a win in my book
Friendly staff, convenient parking and shuttle for MOA and airport service. Room was well appointed, and most importantly, the bed was delicious, slept well after a 6 hour drive in
Excellent hotel, very clean an buisness oriented. They had a very large area for hosting seminars or weddings, a nice bar area with plenty of seating, and a pool, I believe on the 7th floor. I didnt get a chance to visit, so cant completely confirm. The rooms were very clean, included flat screen TV, fridge, iron with board, and down comforters. Beds were a little more on the hard side, but still slept well. The breakfast was amazing, they had a wide variety of different omelets, piles of bacon and sausage (including turkey), kilbosa with peppers and onions, a full bakery bar, fruits, and cereals; it just kept going. The only reason for one less star was the fact that they were renevating and our entire floor and it smelled of strong paint fumes. Workers had plastic drop cloths in our rooms and quickly apologized and said "its fine, we'll just these done tomorrow." Also another in are group had some booking issues that couldn't be resolved due to a full house, one co worker had to sleep oj a pull out. Few things that could have been managed a little better, but all employees were very friendly. So minus 1 star for management services, but still a well worth place to stay.
The room was comfortable, and good place for the anime convention. However there wasn't a clock in the room. Granted I have a phone, but an alarm clock would have been handy. Otherwise just fine.
My friends family rented one of the halls for a surprise BDAY party! We had a wonderful time! It was catered with music and dancing! I even rented a nice room for myself at a great price that included complimentary breakfast, buffet style!
Wow disgustingly wow I'm sorry I didn't took a picture of the dirty rooms smells the stain sheets and the outdated bathroom Hilton keep surprising and breaking all records poor hospitality
My friends and I stayed there for 3 nights and we were pleased. I ve read the reviews of it being outdated or the rooms were small, but the rooms were larger than regular rooms. The complimentary cookies were outstanding! So outstanding that I bought a dozen at checkout. She wanted to give me fresh ones but they weren t made yet in the morning. Well, they still tasted amazing. Today, to my surprise, Nina, the front office manager that I talked to at checkout sent me a can of their cookies!!! Thank you so much Nina! My family thanks you too!
I stayed here one night after delta delayed my flight 13 hours. Check in was fine and the room was decent. However there was long black hair on the towles in the bathroom which was gross. Also, the main light in the room did not work. The hotel shuttle in the morning was fine, but I waited over an hour and a half for a airport shuttle
This is NOT your average DoubleTree. In general, the place is old and tired. We stayed in an updated room on the 5th floor (south tower) that was nice. We paid additional for inclusive breakfast buffet that was a major disappointment. Low quality, even as buffets go. Same thing four days in a row. Nine Nile restaurant is pretty dirty...I don't think carpet had been cleaned for maybe 3 yrs and some the the furniture was even broken. The staff was very good though...Brad at Nine Mile was great.
Everything other than the 5th floor was dirty. @ $140/night (including free breakfast), there are many better values in the area. we won't try it again. Hilton needs to invest in this location.
Side note- For maximum results please replace every Crappy* with the word (Sh*tty)
Entire staff was rude, besides Samantha the manager on duty that we talked to on the day we checked out. We checkout after just 2 days out of 8, that's how awful it was. Wasted almost 600$ (not refunded, thanks trip advisor) This hotel is segregated and we got the crappy part of the hotel, go figure. Funny thing is our crappy room that was supposed to have a great view, overlooked the hotels other building (the nice one). If your not dressed your best, DO NOT GO HERE! we spent 22 hours in the car just to arrive and be treated like crap because we didn't look rich enough. Kids were running up and down the halls of the crappy small building, there's no fridge or microwaves, and wifi is not free, and the jets in the hot tub suck. bathroom tub was also dirty, ohh and the side door that's suppose to lock after 12am (you have to use key card), never do. Awesome!
The only good thing about this hotel were the beds. Amazingly soft pillows. That is all.
I didn't stay at the hotel we just attended an event. The hotel seemed nice and clean in the meeting areas and the location is nice. Right next to all the large shopping centers and the Mall of America.
Went to a real estate investor event. Was provided with coffee, water and cookies. Minimal catering services but not necessary for the event. Everything was adequate, not extraordinary but good enough. Looking forward to future meetings there.
The rooms were big, comfortable, and the bathrooms within the rooms were well designed and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and the food was splendid. I'd visit the hotel again.
South tower is dated and does not have a mini-fridge and microwave like the north tower unless you request it. The couch in my room was definitely not clean but the bed looked okay. Staff is very friendly and helpful, plus the Crescent restaurant food is great. Shuttle service is reliable to the airport but hit or miss for requesting other locations.
