Hotel is very outdated. NOT what you would expect from a Hilton property. Very overpriced. Circa 1980 in my room. Bead spread was dirty on one bed. Shower backed up and took 15 minutes to drain. Would not recommend.

My first impression of our room was that it looked like a cell. There is one small window that opens out to a wall. The window leaks and there was a storm while we were here that got a huge puddle in our room. There is one small painting that is basically a street map. Not to mention this room was right next to the service elevator which goes day and night and it sounds like we were staying next to an airport landing strip. The walls are significantly scuffed and scratched and the walls in the bathroom are significantly stained from weeping that just looks gross. I gave 2 stars because the room was very clean but other than that I was highly dissatisfied with our room, a lot should be done to make this room more comfortable.

I waited in the lobby for 50 minutes at 6:10 p.m. for a room to be cleaned. I had a reservation booked for 3 weeks and there was not a clean room for me to occupy. I was offered a complimentary appetizer and non-alcoholic beverage for my troubles (not helpful, in my opinion). I begged for the staff to put me in any clean, available room after 50 minutes had elapsed, I was accommodated. Once I got to my room, I was happy with the accommodations and room service

Perfect hotel for attending a wedding. Clean, spacious, well stocked gas station and good mart just a walk across the parking lot. Bride and groom rented the suite and there was plenty of room for after party, day before girls hang out, kitchen area etc. Can't really go wrong with Hilton.

No good

Megan Mikkalson must have stayed in our room. We booked through airmiles and the first 5 min in the room I asked if the airport was beside us. I soon realized it was the service elevator. My son was quite ill during our stay and I must say the housekeeping staff was amazing at helping with that and working around us. However we were confined to the roon quite allot as you don't take a child that ill out. TV went out of service multiple times once for over an hour. Super inconvenient for trying to get a child to relax. Front desk staff was nice at check in. However best entrance to use and which elevators get to your room would have been useful information. Ice Machine was broken as well.

Room was fine but had a dirty towel and a used tea bag in it when we arrived. Nice big bed. Ridiculously pricey snack bar. Understaffed coffee bar led to long morning lines. And it closed too early, fortunately there's a superior Caribou coffee a 5 minute walk away.

There was no fridge in the room and being there for a week that was a problem. The rooms are outdated along with the rest of the hotel. The whole place had little thing wrong all around from the terrible Wi-Fi to buttons missing in the elevator. I was abandoned at the mall of America by the shuttle driver who left early. Overall an absolutely horrible stay. U hated it!!!

I've been to many events here; a reptile show, an anime convention, a sci-fi convention.. every time, I'm so pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff is with all the eccentric people invading their establishment. Other hotels in the Twin Cities are also good, but not this welcoming. It's a great big space with plenty of room. My only complaint is there's always a line for the elevators in the lobby when stuff is going on.

Helped host a Vietnam Veterans reunion at this location and it worked out quite well. Almost 250 people & only a few problems . 3 BIG events left hotel short staffed/but they tried very hard 2 make up 4 it. We were trying 2hear a speech abt honoring the Vets who have passed & the Mariachi band next door went into high gear & the water glass on my table was bouncing! While the food during our stay was good but pricey- the banquet meal was terrible, again the results of not enough staff? U can't please everyone but we have in the past. This was our 17th reunion w/Vets from across the USA & as far as Australia. They still loved being together once more.

There isn't too much for me to say as I was only here for a 3 hour event. Though, we were on the 22nd floor Vista(?) Conference rooms. Very lovely view and accommodations. A bit chilly, in all honesty. Other than that it was a lovely event. Thought, to be fair I did poke around their other event going on. A market of some sort similar to a flea market and it was quite nice.

It was a good stay. It was really clean. Bathroom smells of bleach, not a pleasant smell but away least I know it's clean. One problem was check in took forever. I guess it takes 2 hours to get the confirmation on their side. And only other issue was vending machine on my floor was out of service. Each floor has a little soda vending machine of 6 pepsi choices. Next floors vending was out of 3 of the 6. Other than that it was nice and quiet. Bed is comfortable. Check out was quick.

The staff was very nice. Breakfast was great. The room and property lacked cleanliness. There were stains on our sheets and blankets. Bathtub was dirty and had to clean it before letting the kids take a bath.

My experience. Booked online, different pictures for the room I booked. Meh, I can deal with that. Pool time for the kids lasted about 5 minutes because as luck would have it some black guys were trying to be all thuggish with one guy and we're throwing punches and obscenities in front of everyone, thus without the regard of any kids or other people. Hotel did nothing to stop this, we had to leave. This was very dissapointing for me and my family. We can't do this often and the kids were looking forward to the pool time before bed. One of the black guys even came at me when I was teaching my 5 year old how to swim and said, "What did you say bro?" I told him, I'm not your bro and leave me alone. No security and no hotel staff to speak of in the area. SAD.

I really want to rate this a 3.5 star. It would be 4.5 but the shower was absurd. Low pressure, a removable shower head that would constantly fall towards the back of the tub. So much so that the front of the tub was still very cool to the touch after an extensive shower. I feel the bathroom is a major factor of a stay at any hotel and this one was quite sub par. BUT...

Staff and service was very pleasant. Housekeeping was exceptionally friendly. Pool is fabulous (9 feet deep), hot tub is YUGE, Starbucks on site, nice breakfast, bar looked nice (I did not partake), and a little store. Gas station, sandwich shops nearby.

Minor problems... side doors don't lock as they say (nice neighborhood tho). It seems popular with large groups of kids i.e. hockey camp, baseball camp... so a potential for lots of children.

We will definitely stay again if needed.

For a hotel featuring a large convention center I thought I was staying at the water park of America with all the children. Really unpleasant stay and didn't Even have an opportunity to use the pool as someone dismissed their bowels in the water bringing it to a close. Pretty unpleasant

After making a reservation online, room cost was over $400 for 2 nights. Looked on the web site 3 days before my stay to find that room rates were $159 a night. Called them. After a 30 minute battle, got my room for $159 a night. Overall, good place to stay. Just watch those prices!

Typical chain hotel, friendly with good service, very busy with meetings and conventions. 2 stars because rooms do not have mini-fridges or microwaves, and the pool area is very open with no hot tub- a man was openly staring at me from his room overlooking the pool area.

This place is located a short ten mi items drive to the mall of America. The complementary cookie upon arrival was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were made very nicely. The bathroom needs to be updated a bit but was also very clean. For the price I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Great
