Had a room on the 18th floor. We were there for the Gopher State Roundup, which is held in the hotel. Room was great, service was excellent, staff were all very friendly. I was struggling with depression, and sitting out on a step, and someone came and checked on me.

Welcome to a hotel that doesn't have spare blankets. That's right, you can't get an extra blanket because they don't have them. Staff was very rude, didn't seem to care. Plenty of other hotels to stay at that can provide BASIC COMFORTS. Stay away at all cost.

Last night my wife and I were supposed to get a hotel voucher from Delta Airlines that they didn't provide. So we scrambled to find a room at 11 pm. We were fortunate enough to find this hotel as I explained my situation to Lauren, she said don't worry we will find you a room. We went from a horrible situation to being on the shuttle to the hotel within 30 minutes. Whenever I come back to Minneapolis I will only stay at the Doubletree in Bloomington. Thank you Lauren, to the moon and back. Leo Hernandez, Henderson, Nevada.

It was a very beautiful hotel and the pool area was emasculate. The hot tub was huge and the pool was awesome as well. The staff was really friendly and helpful for pointing things our or any other services. It took a bit of a wait for the mini fridge but I did not have a fit about it.Other wise the rooms were great all well kept and you even get to peer down a 8 story drop if your up there.

The hotel is huge! Very clean and friendly staff. I was there for a convention, didnt stay in a room. Starbucks and full sports bar/restaurant inside. Located near many food options and shopping.

The gentleman by the name Jesse who works the front desk is absolutely amazing! Perfect example of amazing customer service and pride in the company and his job. DoubleTree will be my go to from now on because of him. Highly recommend. & thanks again Jesse for really going above and beyond the expectations we had set before checking in. It was greatly appreciated. You made a great lasting impression.

The hotel is a mixture of old and new. You can tell they've spent some money renovating and modernizing some parts of the lobby area. The rooms however are old while still comfortable.

The service was spotty however. Several of us (coworkers) checked in at the same time. The person who checked myself and another co-worker was not provided with the complementary cookie, in addition to the complementary breakfast cards.

My other worker that was served by other member of the front desk did get issued these items. (We all booked under the company code)

Sounds petty that I had to ask for a cookie afterwards, and they were happy to provide it as was the complementary breakfast cards.

Overall the stay was fine. There are restaurants near by within walking distance and the highway is located right next to the hotel. There is complementary shuttle to the airport and the mall of America. My boss said the swimming pool was good so I'll take his word.

This hotel was terrible. I was here for a work trip and the staff was not friendly or accommodating. I was told there would be a $50 early check in fee even though they told me there were rooms available. I asked for silverware for my takeout and was charged $5 for that. Also, I called after I left because I thought I may have left something in the room (my car keys) and they told me to contact a 3rd party site and they would "get back to me" there was no level of care and they wanted to nickel and dime you to death. If you think you are getting a good deal here they will charge you for a smile.

Minnesota Reptile Expo is hosted here. The staff are very helpful. All of the signs are easy to read to direct you. Appreciating the cleanliness and friendliness. Parking is ample and there are valet services.

Solid 4 star hotel. Nothing great but gets the job done. Located in a very suburban feeling retail area surrounded by chain restaurants there is no local feel so pretty much a place to sleep but you cant walk around and go to any funky shops, restautants or attractions.

Please Read! Horrible place to stay. I travel all of the time and this is by far the worst place I've ever stayed. I was there for 5 days. The morning and afternoon staff were rude, disrespectful, and seemed inconvenienced by helping us. House keeping walked in on us everyday even with the do not disturb sign up and rudely asked why havent we left yet when we were there for several days. The rooms are small and the food is not worth the price.

Stayed under tough circumstances (flight delay due to weather). Friendly staff, efficient check-in and clean rooms/common areas. The hotel itself is a little dated and 15 minutes from the airport, but I feel like we were well taken care of. Thanks.

I was looking for a clean, safe stay while in town - and we found it. (I'll get cozy at home.) We were in town for the Mud Games and when we checked in looking like we hadn't even rinsed off - they politely offered us more shampoo and soap and had hoped we'ld had fun. Breakfast is a little pricey at $15 for buffet - but after we got the check the server brought us to-go cups for an extra drink. That not only is nice, but valuable. the pool and hot tub are giant and clean. And the elevators work great and fast. It is an easy do-again.

Hotel is very nice. It doubles as a convention center as well for business and social events. They have 2 towers for hotel rooms. The smaller of the two houses most of their suites. They do courtyard rooms wich feature either a patio or balcony which are located around their pool/courtyard area. The taller tower hosts the standard rooms. The convention space is very large and hosts events and conventions up to or greater than 6000 people. Add the restaurants and bar makes for a fun stay

I went there for a training seminar for work. The meetings were not fun. The hotel looks nice. The bathroom was sticky and smelled strange for multiple days in a row. The parking lot was also not in great shape. Overall appearance was good. I didn't stay in the rooms so I don't have anything to say on that front.

Stayed in a Poolside balcony room. Room was filthy - dirt all over the floor and walls. Walls are paper thin - can hear everything in the hallway. Front desk did not offer any assistance during checkin - did not offer me cookies, ask if I knew how to get to my room or ask if I had stayed at this hotel before. Don't get a room with 2 beds if you expect 2 adults to sleep in them - beds are small.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view was stunning. The bar/lounge had a good variety of food (the hot pretzels were a great snack), and an incredible staff! Definitely worth staying again!

Went to the hotel for convergence. First time going I was pleasantly surprised with how big the venue was and how many options there were. There were two hotels as far as my knowledge. Double tree was a bit older, which was interesting to see as most hotels are newly renovated. Overall pleasant.

Reserved several rooms. Called hotel, canceled unneeded rooms, hotel denied that we canceled. Hotel said we had to cancel with online reservations, online reservations said we had to cancel with hotel. Quite a scam going here. Got stuck paying for unneeded rooms. Pool area is filthy. Large hot tub has much gunk floating in it. Rooms decent, but bathrooms leave something to be desired. Expect more from Hilton. Won t stay again, DON T reserve rooms there.

Absolutely gross. We booked on hotwire as a featured special and our room is literally in the service area away from all the other rooms. The lamps are broken. The view out the window is a wall 2 feet from the window. The ceiling is peeling. It sounds like the service elevator is coming through the wall. The front desk staff is rude. The first room had bed bugs so they moved us up 2 floors to a different former storage closet. Literally the only nice thing I can say is that the housekeeping and service staff are very friendly... in the service elevator.

Fun!

The atriums (1-8), ballrooms (1-3), veranda (1-8) ballrooms are good and can be used for events with occupancy 800+. The doors for veranda ballrooms facing the pool have to be closed to avoid noice pickup.

This hotel was disgusting!! When I walked in the room, I immediately seen 2 tiny bugs crawling across the desk that was situated on the side of the bed. Thereafter, I went to the front desk to be moved to a different room. My standard procedure after checking into any hotel room is to check the bedding. This tiny bug (not sure what kind of bug) was resting in the crevices of the mattress. as a result, I checked out of this hotel because it is extremely unclean.

The location is awesome considering there are plenty of restaurants and fast food joints nearby. Right on the freeway for easy transportation and the service (front desk) was quite better than most other hotels.

This hotel does not accommodate for large crowds, conventions, and lie. Was at Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) 2019 for the first time, the whole week, most of the parking lot was blocked for "resurfacing." If you're gonna lie, make sure it's going to ring true. Half way through the week, another event shows up in the BLOCKED parking lots and parks their sports cars in areas blocked off for SGDQ. Super disappointed by this company and hotel. Never spending my money at Hilton or DoubleTree, and never recommending this hotel to friends, family, coworkers, or clients for travel.
