Airport shuttle didn't run early enough for us to get to the airport, so had to get an Uber. Even though its stated that it's free parking you still have to pay if you fly out. Totally defeated the purpose of driving to the cities to be here for our flight. Over priced and poor service.

The place was clean, well run, and organized for a convention. I had 0 issues, the staff was courteous. Had an issue with my room but when they were notified they did they their best to rectify. Easy parking, and no issues to speak of.

I usually stay at the Doubletree everywhere I go. This partically time in Bloomington was a pure headache. First I called to see exactly how much would be held on my card before I even checked into the hotel. The lady told me that the only thing that would be held would be the price of the overall stay. When I checked in and went to my hotel room I checked my bank account and realized that $30 was held for each night on my card. I went to the front desk and asked exactly what was going on and the manager told me exactly what was going on that $30 is held each night of the stay. When she told me about it I was perfectly fine. The next day I went to the vending area to purchase a red bull. I went to the front desk to purchase it. The young lady saw my room key and my debit card was close to each other and told me she needed to reactivate it so I gave her my room key. She then told me she didnt see my reservation in the system anymore (like how do you lose a reservation?". She then asked me for my debit card to put me back in my room. Before I have it to her I asked her would there be another charge added to my card and she informed me that was a lie. Three hours went by and I checked my account and realized I was charged for the room and $30 holds each night I stayed all over again!!!!! I went downstairs to talk to the manager and she helped me as much as she could. She got the bank to release some of my funds for me. The next day I realized that I been charged $90 again! I went back to the desk and the lady informed Me that a manager was not on duty.

This Double tree truly ruined my whole trip seeing that one day I couldn't leave because I was charged way more money than I was suppose to. I will be spending a lot more time in Minnesota for the next few years but would not recommend this hotel to any friends or family.

I have several more complaints about my stay that's not even monetary but I won't go into details.

Excellent Hotel. We pricelined (name-your-own-price) this for $50 + $10 (taxes/fees) / night. We were greeted with cookies upon check in. The staff were very friendly and polite.

We stayed in the end unit room the first night of our stay and the room was very weird with a tiny window that one can barely look out of. It was also next to the service elevators and was very noisy. We talked to the front end staff the next morning and was moved to another unit in the middle of the building and no more issue with the noise.

The hot tube and sauna weren't very hot and don't waste your time there if you like those things hot.

In serious need of an update & maintenance. Leaking toilet, torn shower curtain, ice machine was dead, no cookies at arrival. After two weekends, we all reached the same conclusions. Staff was curt both visits. Loud hotel with an ok on the go breakfast.

I only head down here for the reptile expo, the hotel staff are always friendly when we go. Most seem genuinely curious as to what you've got, but it's always clean and spacious. Pool looks like a fun time, Moved up to the ballroom now and that's huge and perfect. Great parking, and they have valet service. Not that I've used it.

I recently stated there over the holiday weekend and was very disappointed. I've been going to the Hilton Hotel for the past 4yrs at least twice a year and this one by far was the worst. Thank goodness this isn't the one I normally stay at. The TV channels kept going in and out. The bathroom stunk like old wet towels and I had to call the front desk 3 times before they came up and brought me extra blankets. I wouldn't recommend this Hotel to anyone!

We're not the only ones that say stay away from here... Not only did we not get the room we booked or the amenities , but for our first anniversary we scheduled all of our weekend plans around where we could get the room we wanted which is what this place said they offered. Being treated horribly by staff and the asst. mgr pools were closed, wifi was 9.95 per 24 hours when it was supposed to be free( got pictures off their website), no fridge/microwave in room, rust and water damage everywhere cracks in the ceiling, .. This hotel ruined our anniversary. Not only that but our SUV was door dinged within 10 minutes of checking in. I originally said that I would have rather stayed at a motel 6,,, I've changed that, I would have rather stayed at a roadside inn that charged by the hour that looked and smelled like an old beat up cabin, it would have been cleaner and way less then what I got ripped off for.

Don't bother coming here if you want a quiet relaxing weekend.

Kids run up and down the halls constantly, sometimes yelling. The pool and hot tub were packed with kids- not even enough space for two of us to sit in the hot tub peacefully, there were a good 20 people(mostly kids splashing around).

The room was ok. Dings in the walls where paint was missing in inch long chunks. The vents are coated in dust as is the ceiling where the vent blows out on to.

And for the final blow to what should have been a relaxing fun birthday weekend: the room was prepaid so I fully understand deposits on rooms and I'm ok with that-We get charged $60 for incidentals upon check-in, ok. I wake up the first morning to two new charges, the first for $220something and the second for $30. What the heck?? I've already spent $244 on two nights not including deposit/incidentals. This hotel is definitely not worth $244 for two nights.

I'm trying not to be mean here, but what a waste....

I'm trying not to be mean here, but what a waste. Everything about using the show room was unnecessarily difficult, from not having a key to watching the blank stares of the receptionist every time we had a simple request. The last straw for me was that for our small room with three outlets there was no internet included. Oh we could have it... for ten dollars more. In addition to the 200+ dollars per day we were already paying. Really?! I was actually embarrassed for the company. Are times THAT bad that simple customer service and amenities are just not included.. unless asked for? For a price? Do you pay extra for color tv's too?! How embarrassing Guys!!! I've stayed at places that some would call a "dump" and received a warm welcome, kind assistance, and an internet connection! A good experience cannot be bought, and don't let a name like Hilton fool you.

I usually end up staying at this hotel a few times a year for various events and activities and I largely have nothing against it. In fact I definitely recommend it as a place to stay for its great location, food options, pool and hot tub atmosphere, and Its very spacious design.

These past few visits however have brought new management and ownership which have turned a lot of the positive on its head. They treat our events and attendees extremely poorly and its very clear they don't care about us and in fact are annoyed by our general existence. Fees, less than poor service, and borderline extortion has made us begin looking for alternative areas for our event hosting.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Food was great, bed was very comfortable! Did not get the cookie that was advertised, and I wish my room would have had a refrigerator and/or microwave, but my stay was pleasant and the staff was friendly. Hotel was easy to get to for a non-metro-area driver such as myself.

Definitely thought we would get more for our money and that our room would be bigger, and didn't realize breakfast wasn't included if I had realized that when I was searching for hotels that are kid friendly I would have picked another one, the room is nice enough but very small for the price we paid I'm almost certain I could have gotten more for my money elsewhere, there isn't any fan in the bathroom for showers so it gets very fogged up and considering it's supposed to be family friendly you would have thought the room would be bigger, when we checked in the line was very long and only one person was helping people until the line was almost all helped

Very nice hotel and the room was top notch. The bed was comfortable and had soft pillows. The bathroom was very clean and the shower had nice water pressure.
The staff was prompt and greeted you as soon as we entered the hotel. Very professional and helpful.
Absolutley no complains on the comfort or care as we stayed there.

However, be sure to grab snacks at a local gas station though, the snacks there will cost you an arm and a leg.

I had asked for something close to the elevator, cause my husband uses a walk. Our room couldn't of been any farther from the elevators. I also picked a poolside room, when I booked a room online, thought I was getting it, tell I checked in. Every year there has been something wrong.

Great location and staff. The meeting facilities are perfect size for almost any event. We've found the food to be really good, and the guest rooms are clean if not a little dated. Small things like outlets at the night stand make a big difference to road warriors.

The interior of the commons area was beautiful... nice enough for Vegas. Food was a little high priced, but value the experience, it was fine.

Only complaint... our room. While everything looked clean, neat, and quite classy (except for the extremely low ceiling height), our room was at the end of the hall and next to the service elevators - noisy... really noisy.

I'd give them 6/5 stars if I could. Sure, the bathroom isn't huge, and the bar isn't cheap. But I had a maintenance issue with my room and they had it fixed in under ten minutes. The beds are pretty comfortable too. Very sure I'll enjoy my weekend stay here and plan to come back next time I need a hotel in the area.

3 star hotel. SGDQ 2018. Double booked event and volleyball tournament again, some people screwed out of double bed rooms, some rooms moldy to the point of airborne sickness, restaurant expensive, etc. Decent space but many issues
