Great hotel. Quite long hallways means it can take you several minutes to get to lobby if you are unlucky with room choice. Had several wedding after parties in the lobby and never had any issues with the staff.

I don't usually do long Google hotel reviews, so you know when I do one it's because I've experienced some extreme of the spectrum of service. In this case, I experienced great service.

This hotel was a delightful surprise from start to finish. The first thing that really had a great impact on my trip was a text from the hotel employee Miro stating that that they were looking forward to my stay.

It came at the best time because I was anxious about my trip. I had some wineries in my mind I wanted to visit, but I wanted to know of what more I could do and, more importantly, I wanted to check-in early. Miro assured me that the concierge would be there to help me and that I could check in early!

The hotel was more impressive than I imagined. The lobby was big, grand, and beautiful. The pool area was nice, the gym looked clean with new equipment, and our hotel room was big and clean. We had a double queen balcony room on the 3rd FL.

My only issue was the connecting balconies, I was a little annoyed by that, but no one else was out there during our stay, so it felt a little private.

Regardless, the staff was pleasant at every turn. We ate in the hotel restaurant. Which was pretty good actually. I had the burger and my friend had the salmon.

I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to Sonoma and staying in this hotel. Shout out to Miro, the concierge Steven, and the other hotel employees who made my stay so excellent!

Did not get any recognition or benefits for being a diamond member. There was a flamingle? party on Saturday night. A ton of drunk teens partying all over the hotel and all over the parking lot. When visiting wine country spend a little extra or less to stay somewhere else.

I run a fast paced business and after booking this hotel an hour previously, I had to call to cancel and they charged me the full rate for the room. After which the woman on the phone explained she was going to charge me regardless, she procceded to try and pitch me a their credit card (which I already have). Needless to say, I'm cutting up my Hilton honors credit card and sticking with IHG who lets me cancel my reservation at 11pm at night the same day. Rediculous way to treat your rewards members!

Beautiful hotel with a well-kept pool courtyard in the center. Great albeit pricey restaurant (also applies to breakfast), some convenience items, bar, pool table, and fireplace. Overall clean, modern, maintained property. Tennis and basketball courts are a great feature.

Vey unprofessional front office staff- Booked thru Priceline but hotel did not honor reservation. Had to make another reservation at a higher price even when confirmation email from priceline provided. Even after 4 reminders and several requests to front office- issue not resolved. Just Gauging customers with higher prices $299 a room and not honoring bookings done online. Front office give false information several times just to evade responsibility. And Manager is not available. Very Poor Service.

Stayed here for 2 nights because a friend was getting married at the Foxtail Golf Course right down the street. Service was great and they worked with the newly married couple to accommodate the guests!

Visited for Sunday morning buffet breakfast. On the web advertised $14.95 but actual price was $19.95 plus tax, they needs to up-grade their web-site. Quality of food are no better than Denney's. Would not recommend if you are looking for quality, unless quantity.

SUPER rude lady hung up on me when I simply asked if the Booking.com price for tonight was correct because it was a really good deal. She said no, explained that it was a deal only for essential workers ( even though it asks you if you're traveling for work and I put no, it still gave me the deal when i booked it. AND there was no notice saying that the deal was for essential workers only.) Canceled my reservation and went across the street plus I saved like $50.

I thought well maintained for a older hotel. Quiet little find, by the the golf course. Only minus , was an extra $15 parking fee with $30 deposit. The fee is also attached even if you're disabled. This was communicated only during check in. I believe this could be waved or even added to room cost would look and sound better . Especially, during covid-19. No, veterans discounts. The parking lot was far from full. This took my five star down. Store in near parking plaza, as well as a brewery. Toilet leaking badly overnight as well as such a low toilet. Three stars now.On the first floor there is multiple sanitation units, on each floor by the elevator there is none. Staff was pleasant, nice there to help yet not over bearing. I will some this up with get the chocolate Walnut cookies, they are delicious!

Very disappointed. I travel quite a bit, l'm a Hilton Honors member and in most cases I try to book Hilton properties when I can. I just returned home from my stay at this property and realized I have bed bug bites on both of my legs. So I called the property to tell them the issue and the response was, "ok we'll have someone look into it, sorry". Being a long time customer, I guess I just expect more from the Hilton brand with something like this, like a refund. Having bed bugs is a big deal in my eyes, but didn't seem to get that feeling from this hotel.

Worst doubletree I've ever stayed at.

Worst doubletree I've ever stayed at.
Front desk personnel.too busy to check people in spending more time on phone while people are lining up. Didn't even offer cookie nor bottle water upon check in. When came back to ask for some refused to give any. Terrible customer service. Do not recommend.

Nice comfortable rooms. Was too busy to make it to the pool or gym but both seemed nice. I was attending a conference so we had treats at coffee time. The chocolate chip cookies with walnuts were fabulous! You receive a cookie when you check in--Yummo!

Great customer service very clean rooms nice clean pool and hottub and good sized gym area. Also want to add that they were fantastic durring a crisis and helped the community immensely. I would highly recommend staying here and supporting a place that supported its community in a time of serious need.

Booked this property for a visit to wine country. Due to personal medical issues, I was not able to make this stay, but called and spoke with a young lady at the front desk who assured me as a Gold rewards member, I would not be charged for the late notice of my cancellation.

Showed a room charge on my CC, spoke with same young lady who transferred me to another persons voicemail - twice. No return phone call and still payed for a room I never stayed in. Does Doubletree not say, if you're not satisfied with your stay, they make it right??

Customer service at this hotel is lacking, significantly!! I certainly will not be staying here in the future, and will allow this negative experience to cloud my judgment when selecting hotels to stay at as I travel across the country.

For being a 4 star hotel as advertised online, it is one of the worse places I have ever stayed at. My biggest complaint is the little charges for everything and the one that bothers me the most is the $6.00 daily charge to park in their parking lot. Yes the staff was friendly and the room amenities are nice but the little charges add up and leave a sour taste. In addition, the sound proofing between rooms and floors is lackluster. Every noise can clearly be heard and is disturbing. I would not recommend staying here and will likely not stay here again.

Outdated architecture, first and 2nd floor can hear elephants running around upstairs, walls & doors are super thin and can hear people outside the hallway or outside the lanais talking. When people at the room above move around in their bed, I could hear creaking and rocking sound! It was very hard to sleep!

From looking at the pictures, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Sonoma seems to be run well and has nice pictures. Little did I know that paying $300+ a night would get you such poor value and a miserable experience at this hotel.

Besides the VERY poor soundproofing between the floors, doors, and walls, the staff doesn't seem to care to "make it right" as the placard on the check-in/out counter said. As a diamond member, I did not get any room upgrades. I got water and cookie at check-in and a $14 breakfast credit or continental breakfast. The continental breakfast selection was paltry at best: cold items only such as 2 or 3 pastry items, some mixed fruit, toast, etc. There were not appetizing at all. I was not expecting a $300+/night room to have this bad of a breakfast selection. And this is a Hilton Corporate owned and running hotel. Yiiish

I would not hesitate to not return to this hotel.

This property is absolutely beautiful with flowers everywhere and nice finishings along with a superb location in wine country. The service at check in was pleasant. If the room did not have a wet area by closet (see picture) and stains in carpet (see additional pictures) that were obvious as soon as we walked in, we would have given this DoubleTree property the highest ratings.

This hotel is "SERIOUSLY DATED" and not worth paying more than $49.00 a night. It's in par with the local Motel 6. I have stated here twice. The hotel pictures on the hotel website "are not representative" of the rooms "whatsoever".

The rooms are musty, the carpets are worn, the curtains are worn, the tile in the restrooms is also stained old, and dated. I changed hotels.

It's a beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. The rooms are very comfortable. Got a mini fridge, coffee maker, cable TV, and desk area. The bathroom has a tub/shower. Two sinks, one inside bathroom and one right outside the bathroom. Big closet. It's quiet here. Plenty of parking. The have a restaurant on site. A bar. Heated swimming pool and spa, although it wasn't working while I was here so I was very disappointed! Overall I would recommend this hotel. It's close to shopping and restaurants and also bars!
