Very clean room and extremely helpful and friendly staff. I will stay here again!

At 10 in the morning I was woken up by very loud drills on the day we were going to check out. Considering we stayed here for a wedding I was looking forward to sleeping in as it was a busy few weeks. But instead me and my boyfriend quickly got our things together because it was unbearable to sit in the room, let alone sleep. When I went down to the desk and said I was ready to check out, the young lady says "do you want your receipt?" Not once did she ask how was your stay or how was everything. I told her I was disappointed with how we were woken up and if there was construction scheduled that guests should be told that at check in. She told me that it was on the website -
1. I was there for a wedding, I had no time to check the website or even think about doing that
2. The website says that the construction would effect common areas. There is no mention that a loud drill will wake you up in the morning *see picture*
I was offered no discount and with a reply like "it was on the website", no sympathy. I was very disappointed. I have tried to call and speak with a manager and I have been told that I would get a call back but it's been 5 days now. I hope my issue is addressed soon and that this hotel will be more mindful of their guests in the future.

Stayed on Christmas eve. Arrived close to midnight and the booking I made from booking.com hasn't arrived there yet. Well done. But the gentleman at the reception was awesome he gave us a room with the same rate. He was kind enough to understand our situation. And explained everything with great enthusiasm. Room, toilets and the shower were perfectly cleaned and the toiletries were in place. The room temperature control felt like it takes a little time to respond. ( just my opinion my gf didn't thought of that way. )
Didn't really bother to see the breakfast option, hotel agreed on a late checkout for free which was till 14:00 afternoon. I will definitely come back here again. I am not judging the parking spaces since it was Christmas eve.
Nothing here is extraordinary to achieve a 5star rating but certainly keeps a better standard than most hotels I have been. The receptionist who's name i can't remember , certainly shows his high standards of professionalism.

I expected more from a Hilton hotel. Found bed bugs in my bed and got bitten all over my body. Went to reception, they gave me another room and promised some miles as a compensation, but never received the miles. What a bad joke.

Nice big open space, somehow the bar was always available which surprised me since there were only two bartenders, but overall a great experience.

This hotel is clean and safe. It is in need of a renovation and they are planning one. It will be excellent when it is done, but it is worth staying there now too.

Wow, avoid if you can. The service is horrible, the food takes forever, even if you are the only one in the restaurant. There was no hot water when I was there. We were there for an event, I asked a waitress who was passing food what was in the appetizer because I can die from shellfish and she said "I don't know. So do you still want it." then later saw her actually in the photo booth rented for guests. And I was standing with the hostess at the time. The guest room was dirty, and there are no amenities, not even a menu for the room service. The check in clerk was beyond rude and complained to me about her new system, three times. Save your money, and check your sheets before you get into bed.

It's in gaithersburg md. The Holton hotel is pretty nice overall it's very well maintained. The hotel is clean and smells good all the tmr. The room is very nice clean and orgamized. I have enjoyed it so far and will definitely recommend others.

You get nothing with your stay!! It's a econo lodge in the near future/ then you might get a muffin. .. lol stay away.

Toilet leaked with water all over floor. Staples from rug at bathroom entrance stuck the bottom of my foot in 2 places. Hot water had wild fluctuations. Not a good start to morning. Was expecting better from
a Hilton!

We've been to this hotel twice now and both times have been great experiences. We love the pool and hot tub, the bed are comfortable and rooms are clean.

This hotel does not match the quality nor professionalism that I expect from Hilton. When we first arrived at the hotel, there was a wedding reception being held in the lobby. This hotel has at least 5 conference/ball rooms and a bar area. That being said, I don't understand why my family had to "fight" our way through the lobby to the front desk. The wedding guest were allowed to block the entrance and clutter the lobby as they ate and socialized. We finally made it to the desk to check in and could barely hear nor converse to complete the check in.
The room did not have a refrigerator nor a microwave. This hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast and our room did not have a room service menu.
In short this is the most unprofessional Hilton I have ever visited. And this hotel is not family friendly.

The bar here is great! Got excellent service and the bartender makes amazing cocktails!!

Only stayed one night on a family road trip. Room was a little small but well kept. Glass on the floor in the hallway was there from check-in until check-out. Only one of three elevators worked for a few hours in the morning. No crib available for a newborn. Other than that was really pleased with the experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Got a room for two nights, beds were made, clean, and the bathroom was clean

I arrived at the Gaithersburg Hinton 3am and I was greeted as though I had arrived at 5pm very courteous and kind staff. Made the few hours I was there very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean. The front desk was courteous. The atmosphere was welcoming. Housekeeping did an excellent job. We will be staying here again. Definitely!

My family and I checked in went to the room as we walked down the hall we smelled dead rats!!!! Opened our room it smelled even worse! There was black mold in the air vents We walked right back to the front desk and check out and found a REAL hotel. This place should be torn down!!!! Please don't stay here it is unsafe.

Service banquet area below Hilton standards not enough micro waves and mini refrigerators in rooms and Security looked non existent maybe because i come from Baltimore SECURITY IS REQUIRED. NOT WHAT I EXPECT FROM A HILTON

It was a great stay during a winter storm and hotel manager was always very attentive. Awesome stay.

I was there for a wedding lunch reception. The food was OK; there wasn't much of a choice. The dessert bar was 3 different types of cake. But since we already had wedding cake, it wasn't really complementary. The bathrooms were clean. It was a very hot day so the air conditioning in the hall was appreciated. Overall, an OK experience.

Angela at the bar is fantastic! She remembered every single persons name! It felt like a home town bar with pretty decent food. The rooms need updating but apparently that's coming soon. I will be staying here next time I am in town on business.

Parking lot was confusing. Visiting a friend so I can't say much about the hotel, though they weren't too happy with it.

The hotel and lobby area in itself is quite lovely. The sneak tactics of charging extra fees that are supposedly in "fine print" are detestable. Also the bathroom curtain instead of an actual door eghhhh don't like it

Great location for professional events or when you are in the area for business. Right next to major avenues and highway, cross the street and you have a mall with Panera, Habit Burger, 24hr CVS, etc.

Purchased a couples package for after having a long day discovering D.C. (30mins away). The package included chocolate covered strawberries to our room, a dinner for 2 with a complementary house champagne, & breakfast for 2(available room service upon request). It didn't go exactly as planned. They didn't really know what we were talking about when we checked in. We proceed to sit down for our dinner in the restaurant and the server was very polite but didn't know what we were talking about. After speaking to the front desk he confirmed our free dinner & champagne and said we'd be receiving everything else. About an hour after eating we had received the strawberries in the room. Then in the am we received our breakfast. All food was delicious and they apologized for not knowing. I stayed in a king room in 714 and it was spacious & nice with a huge TV & a microwave & refrigerator. I could've used more towels & I wish my special requests would've been read upon booking. I also took advantage of the pool / whirlpool which was nice & clean with odd hours. The hotel itself was under construction by the elevator, but not much of an inconvenience to guests. Overall a nice hotel and I am happy they accommodated to what I had purchased.

Nice place, though some rooms a little dated, and they don't always give you the free breakfast coupons (seems to be random).

Dated. Functional but not nice. Cleanliness is an issue. Rooms not very clean. Old furnishings. Cover over box springs is badly stained. Front desk staff friendly. Rooms need a good cleaning or redo. Only provide 2 towels per room. Plumbing makes weird noises and even on top/ 12 floor sounds like someone is in a room above us walking around.

AMAZING staff, nice, clean rooms, great brunch and food overall! I stayed at the hotel to work for a week while my boyfriend was in DC for a conference and the hotel staff could not be more accommodating! Each morning I'd enjoy brunch at the restaurant and work from a quiet table, and the staff was so warm and welcoming each morning (I became "a regular" very quickly and they knew exactly where I liked to sit!). The brunch is truly phenomenal and affordable, to include a great omelet station with many filling options, oatmeal with a variety of toppings such as homemade granola, banana chips, brown sugar, cinnamon, etc., scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with basil and tomato, bacon, sausage, french toast, waffles, fresh fruit, a variety of breads including banana bread, cranberry-orange loaf, marble, etc, cereals, yogurts, toast, etc. Perfect to pig out or pig out and still keep it healthy! They'd let me stay as long as I'd like to work and eat, as late as 2:00! Even when it wasn't busy the staff was always keeping busy cleaning and making sure I had everything I need (refilling coffee, etc) but without bothering.

It is definitely a business hotel due to its location (and perfect for business meetings), but I would definitely recommend it and come back here again!

This hotel needs a remodel STAT. Our room wasn't falling apart yet, but it left A LOT to be desired. Even the food options at this DoubleTree (compared to the other DoubleTrees we've stayed at) were subpar.

Aging hotel, good Hilton experience. This is obviously a hotel that needs an update. I noticed corrosion on the bathroom sink pipes, water damage at the bottom of the bathroom door, the closet and refrigerator cabinet doors didn't like to stay completely closed, things like that. The staff was excellent, room service fast and professional, so a great experience overall.

Staff was very courteous when checking in. Love the breakfast, convenient location, and the Starbucks in the hotel. Just wish there was a mini-fridge and/or microwave and the bathroom is a little on the small side.

Worst hotel beds I have ever slept in; my body is a wreck. Three pillows per bed, they felt like silly putty in a sack. There was broken glass on the floor of our bathroom. No fridge in the hotel room, we had to request one. The indoor hotel pool was full of bugs and leaves and was too cold for my younger siblings. The lifeguard had lots of rules that he himself wasn t even familiar with. The woman at the front desk herself acknowledged that the hotel was trash and we are working to make it better . As frequent Hilton guests, we can surly say Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this place.

This is not a 5star hotel as the name suggest needs alot of updates and more diverse staff!

Very disappointing experience. I stayed at the hotel for a week and initially when I did the booking I was mentioned that I will be getting a Microwave. Then, upon arrival I was told that they do not have a stock of the microwave. I had to chase them up to get one installed in my room the following day. They took 200 USD for 4 nights of stay in advance as incidental expenses and upon check out I was told that the money will be refunded back to my account in 5 working days into my Travelex card. It has been 2 weeks now and I am still waiting for the refund. This causes a lot of confusion between me and my company as this is a business trip expensed by the company. While the facilities in the hotel were all excellent, taking 200 USD and then not having the courtesy to call the customer over the phone to keep him/her updated on the refund shows a very careless attitude on behalf of the management. Very disappointing.

Room has flat TV with many stations, refrigerator, iron and board, free coffee.
Free coffee in lobby. Has restaurant and bar, free parking. Shopping nearby. Noon checkout.
I received the upgrade because the room I chose online wasn't ready and I commented that the Hilton app indicated that an upgrade (for $8) was available but the link went down when I tapped on it.

First time in a Hilton and the last as well. It was dirtier than a motel 6 or a red roof inn. Also we rented a room with a king and a pullout couch and the pullout was the most uncomfortable thing to sleep on ever. Also no complinetary breakfast and considering how much we paid that's a travesty.
