Contacted sales department four days ago. I asked sales person to provide me with an additional pictures of the van I was interested in. On the next day, there is no reply. I called to remind. On the following day, there is again, no reply and sales' person cell number does not answer. Four days after, sales person finally calls me back and tells me that someone else is coming to see this van right away and I have to rush to the dealership to be there first.... and of course there is no additional pictures were provided as was originally requested. What a SCAM trying to get customer rushed. I never had such a negative experience dealing with a dealership sales department before. I have seen greasy sales people but not to that extent. My advise for potential customers would be to avoid this place at all costs. They do not do good business.
Make sure you come here to purchase a car, not to test drive; or else they will show you the worst way of customer service.
Don Valley North was my favorite dealership for many years, it was the best sales and car service here but now everything is changed for some reason. I am disappointed every visit here. Cafeteria is terrible. Service advisors are unprofessional and car service is very poor and faulty lately. Prices for parts and service are ridiculous here!!! It s ok to do oil change here only. But if you need to fix your car, be ready to pay between $1000-$1500 here ( even for small things) what is totally unacceptable. I am not going to get any service here anymore. What s happened with you DVN!!!

Awesome service (desperate they are pricy). I dropped off my car early morning, get a free coffee, free shuttle to subway (or free token). After I get off work late and travelled back to the store, a smiley reception helped me get my car. I also love how sparkly my car becomes with the free car wash. The wash is better than Petro's car wash. I will definely come back!

I dread the process of buying a new vehicle because the sales reps seem to care more about the commission more than the product they are selling to their customers. Kian was sure to explain the process, features of the new vehicle. I grew up singing the jungle and now I m a proud owner of my very own Toyota from DonValley North Toyota.
I have purchased a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle form Don Valley North Toyota, dealership in 2013. Great customer service at that time. I have been advised to purchase the "bumper to bumper" warranty which cost me over 4.000 CAD. Over the years, slowly and sadly they've lost great people I dealt with (people that where the also the reason I chose that DVNT dealer-ship such as Sam Naouakil) including , the service Manager Bob Durston and others. During the warranty period, I asked them twice for help . The first time I had asked them to replace the rotors which warped after 4.000 km. I remember that I struggled to get one rotor out of four replaced "under warranty" due to poor design / materials, while I had to pay for the other 3. The second time my battery died ($100 CAD value) while still under "Bumper to Bumper " warranty and they refused to replace it. I tried to explain them (even spoke with the DVNT Manager) that after I purchased the piece of ... mind - "bumper to bumper" extended warranty for 4000 CAD they should pitch in and replace it. Of course they refused to honor their promise and successfully saved $100 CAD at the expense of loosing a customer. That was humiliating enough for me. so I didn't go back at that dealership until recently, when the rear coupling failed on my AWD Sienna. I called Toyota Canada to ask for help. I informed them the that the Coupling Sub Assy. broke and it was producing a whining noise. I clearly pointed out to Toyota Canada Customer Service Rep. that all the RAV 4' s AWD, manufactured between 2006 and 2012 had exactly the same problem on an identical rear coupling and Toyota did issue a Warranty Enhancement Program -ZF4 for all the RAV4's but not for Sienna. The answer I got from Toyota Canada rep. was unfortunately, a somehow polite but deeply disappointing one. "There is no such program for Sienna but if will be issued we'll let you know. Contact your Dealership and they might be able to help you with it... ". Sadly, the Toyota reliability myth belongs to the past so does the one that Toyota stays behind their product. Still I followed their advice and contacted, DVNT. After a chat with the new service manager, explaining all the facts, I got a quote of $1,193.53 CAD for the coupling which can be found at Toyota Parts Direct for $828.25 CAD. In order to show me how much they appreciate my business, DVNT quoted $470 CAD for labor (which is on the high end). From a customer perspective, I wouldn't recommend Don Valley North Toyota Dealership to any one. About their extended warranty "bumper to bumper" I would only say - WHAT A BAD EXPERIENCE.
Horrible, my mom got a brand new rav4. She told Logan, that she doesn t want a specific number on her licenses plate, on the day of pick up she was told that, that s the only plate have and that she has to take it. I work in the same field, if a customer requested a certain request it should fullfilled. Do not agree to something and not bring the deal to the table! Would I ever let my parents or recommend this place to other people I WOULD MOST LIKELY NOT!

Booked an appointment for maintenance for my Toyota 3 weeks ago. Dropped off my car on time at 9:30am at the drop off area and talked to my service advisor Andrew Ho. I checked with him after 1 hour 45 mins. My car was still sitting there. They took it in after 2 hours. He offered me some optional services but I declined because I didn't want to wait longer. Took my car back at 12:45pm. They should book me at 11:00 if they were busy at 9:30am. Due to covid-19, they don't have shuttle service anymore. Customers have to wait there. It would be nice if they can keep up their schedule.

The service attitude was good when I bought the car, and I felt good. But my car has only been bought for a year since it is brand new, and the rotor of the car is already rusted. It cost 400. They said that the car should not be left outdoors and should be driven at least once a week. I usually don't drive it very much, but I drive it at least once or twice a week. I also have an older car that is also placed outdoors. I only drove it once a week for fear of running out of power, but I checked and found that the rotor of that car was okay (not a Toyota brand). Later, I asked my friends about repairs, saying that they should have left the car in the dealership for a long time before handing over the car. It feels quite unreliable, and there is a problem in the first year after buying a car. Very disappointed! The main reason for giving two hearts is the good service attitude of the car repair department.
I recently purchased mildly used 2016 Venza as my previous Venza was totalled in hwy401 accident. I was dealing with salesman Marcos Haitas and his manager Jason Coghlan. I was very happy with their attitude. Also Marco is very knowledgeable regarding any technical issues / questions / concerns as a former mechanic. I'll go back again to them next time, as my family has been using Toyotas over past decades.
Awesome customer service! I got my first car (scion FRS 2016) from this dealership two years ago. Simon is really nice and patient. He was never pushy, not only gave me such an amazing deal, and also explained everything really clearly every steps of the way. I LOve my car but ,I recently have to transfer my lease to someone else as i will be moving away. He spent so much time answering all my questions and helping me through the whole transferring process.

After about a 5 minute wait, the sales representative who's name was Arman took me to the car I was looking to purchase. He was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the vehicle which gave me more confidence in the purchase I was going to be making. After a short discussion about the vehicle, Arman thoroughly went through the breakdown of the vehicle price. I was very impressed with the professionalism Arman displayed throughout the whole process. The most worse customer service in Toronto for Toyato car buyers !! We got fooled by these good reviews . We wanted to take a test drive for CAMRY 2018 XSE Model . So My husband called and booked for the test drive on Saturday September 15,2018 at 5.30pm. I still remember the date and the time since they treated us awful! With all excitement to test drive the car we wanted to buy, Myself and my husband entered the showroom. To our surprise nobody bothered to greet us or ask us what we want. Then we went to the reception desk and informed the women who was sitting there that we booked for a test drive. She asked us to wait that some sales representative will be there assisting us sooner. We waited for 15mins. Later 15mins a sale representative came his name is "William" cant forget that name. He was not interested in selling the car to us. He unwillingly treated us for the test drive didnt even talk or explain the features of the car which was so annoying. He was extremely rude and unpleasant to us. His behaviour hurt my husband alot and we decided not to buy car anymore in this showroom.!!

Went for a oil change and spend 4 hours and the service they did was very bad . Put the wrong oil and then telling me the invoice is wrong but the mechanic put in the right oil.
I leased a 2018 Camry form this dealership. The ECP covers only regular maintenance. Read the policy before subscribing.

Was at this Toyota a few times due taking over a lease to buy back from a buddy. Their service impression to me is terrible. Their sales persons who was appointed to do the necessaries didn't have the knowledge to proper procedure, their own product and was not interested in finding out either until I gave him my piece of mind. He doesn't care about it and even told me to talk to my buddy to find out. Really don't know why they have such sales person there, however I did not want to file any complaint as didn't want him to loose his position there. Today I went there to find out more information at the reception about the buy back as it is due soon. The girls at reception desk were trying to help me by giving me one name of their finances business card but I could see they were not organized at all. The sales person who was dealing with our transaction last time was right there by the reception counter but he was just trying to keep his head down listening to my conversation with the girls at the reception in order to try and find out what my interest was. He walked away as soon as I walked away from the counter, didn't speak a word to either of the girls and that's how I noticed him there. (Giving him the benefit of doubt, but it's a very bad impression) I do surely recognize him. The shop is nice and large with quite a variety of vehicle but the front line sales people is terrible!!!. And I wish you'll all good luck there!!!

What an awful experience trying to buy a car. First off sent in a request from autotrader for information, get some internet consultant who just tries to bring you in to the store without actually answering your questions. Then I finally call in, get the machine, wait...and then receptionist picks up, tells me to wait again...keep waiting and receptionist picks up again, tells me to wait. How many times do I have to wait to talk to a salesperson? you would think someone wanting to do business with your dealership would at least get someone's attention. Finally someone picks up, doesn't introduce himself, quickly gathers my name and phone number, tells me he'll call me back to check on availability....wait all day, not a call. Email internet person back, no response. So I guess my business is no good to the #1 volume Toyota dealership in Canada right? I wonder how you're number 1 when you can't even respond to a potential customer. I'm glad to take my business elsewhere, don't give me the runaround, just treat me properly....all money is the same, whether it's my 10th car from you or my 1st.
I would definitely recommend both Don Valley North Toyota and Mr Navid Norouzi if you are in need of a new vehicle.

Despite all the great reviews posted by others, our experience was the opposite. We decided to come here despite receiving personal feedback to avoid this place. Firstly, it started with scheduling an appointment with the online chat. I requested for one for the same day in the afternoon, but turns out it was scheduled for the next day (as I had someone call me the day after and the day after that after being told I was not interested. She was quite pushy but that's beside the point). We showed up, but were paired up with a salesman named Thomas. The day started well, but only went downhill from there. Things were going well up until we started to talk about the price as the tone of the conversation changed. He became quite pushy and rude, claiming that he was working for me despite dismissing most of what we said, using terms like " come on, it's just a few hundred bucks". But when I repeated the phrase back at him, he acted so defensively like I offended him personally. He also said he worked hard on negotiating the best deal for us, but all I saw was him sitting in the office, playing with his phone. He was also quite rude and disrespectful when it came to closing, sticking his hand out like he was a security guard trying to detain us when I tried to get up and walk. Honestly, who do you think you are? I thought this would be the end of this and we could put this experience behind us, but it was not. A couple weeks later, the day before we scheduled to pick up the vehicle, we received a message regarding an issue with the finances closing the deal. There was about a two weeks difference between the day we signed and the delivery date. Why Thomas did not bring this up sooner was beyond us. We requested to speak to a manager, but he was not helpful at all, telling us there was no manager during the middle of the day and that we can discuss the issue when we come in the next day to accept delivery. We eventually got a hold of a manager ourselves without the help of Thomas to discuss and sort out the problem. So not only did he want to delay the issue, he lied to us. Come the day of delivery, we arrived to pick up our vehicle. Unfortunately, we still had to deal with our original salesman Thomas. Listening to other product advisors while we waited, we noticed they were quite informative and thorough when it came down to explaining things. We felt as though Thomas just wanted to close the deal and get rid of us as he just went over the basics. Not a big deal as we just wanted to pick up the vehicle and be done with it. We went out to inspect the vehicle and noticed a few minor scratches and one bigger rock chip. The entire time, Thomas made it sound like that things happen and that any issues we would see are not their problem. I thought the cars came cleaned and washed, but was quite dirty for being a new car. I inspected the other vehicles beside ours for delivery and they were all clean. I pointed out things like scratches, the dirt under the gas cap and the abundance of dirt in the inside of the rims. I was given the excuse of there being a lot of construction being done in the area where the vehicle was parked. I also pointed out a decent sized rock chip which took out some paint and other areas and was given the excuse that the colour we purchased is hard to maintain and that if we purchased another colour, we would have not noticed such imperfections. How is that even an appropriate response?? He made it sound like it was our problem even before the vehicle was in our possession!! I almost feel ripped off paying for a new vehicle, only to have to pay more so it looks like a new vehicle. This has not been our first experience in the showroom of a dealer, but it has definitely been the worst. I'm glad others have not been treated poorly like we have. Never again will I set foot into Don Valley North Toyota to buy another vehicle. If you do happen to stop by Don Valley North Toyota, do yourself a favour and request a different person if you hear the name Thomas.

What happened to this place? We had purchased our previous used vehicle from here 4 years ago and received the best experienced ever! Unfortunately the asian manager who we dealt with no longer works there. He is one of the reason why we are coming back. However my family and I went there recently looking for another pre-owned vehicle as a second car for our daughter. This time around, it was a horrible experience! Not only did we encounter unprofessional and dishonest sale staff, their vehicles are extremely in poor condition and over priced. After 2 long hours of dealing with the salesperson we decided not to buy and to take our business elsewhere. Prior to leaving, we were forced to meet their manager Mr. Cauglinn. This manager was not only rude but didn't care about our needs. He seemed to be more concerned about what to eat for lunch than earning our business. Our conversation was repeatedly interrupted by an asian female staff wanting to take his lunch order. He made us wait 5 minutes so he can complete his lunch order before finishing our conversation....what a joke! We have heard rumours this place has gone down but was skeptical due to our previous experience, but boy were we wrong! Don't always go by the good reviews you see. A friend of ours recently purchased a new vehicle from them and was told by the manager they would only receive their free oil change if they would give the dealer a 5 stars review.....talk about buying ratings lol!
I had a great experience at this Toyota dealer. I was just there to service my Corolla. The staff was really courteous and friendly making sure that I was comfortable. I dealt with Brandon Libanio. He explained everything so thoroughly, but was also really down-to-earth. It was quite refreshing. I have to give a shout-out to Ralston who was working next to Brandon. They both made the experience great. I highly recommend this place for anything Toyota related. Make sure to ask for Brandon or Ralston if you go.
