I was there for 5 minutes waiting for someone to ask what I needed or at least greet me. Nobody cared to talk to me at all.
Been coming here for years. Always get good customer service. There is a lady that works there now that never used to years ago. She is rude, short with me and always gives me issues. I love this lab but she is making me not ever return as a customer. She doesn t know anything about film types. If it s not Kodak or Fuji she gets confused and tells me they can t process it. It was cinestill which is a c41 film. She refused my service. I only use the lab for important rolls that I need to turn around in a timely matter. This puts a serious wrench in my work flow. Processing c41 is all I use the lab for when I am in a pinch. But now I can t even rely on that. I will never return if they can t do what I need them to do. They claim to process all c41 films. Why not cinestill? I would like this to be resolved and to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about because obviously she does not.
Spent an hour with Amanda, having her give me the tour of the lab, and a wonderful explanation of their services, and different papers. Would definitely recommend Digital Photo Lab for your printing needs!
I wished I hadn't gone there. It was the worst day of my life.
This place is incredible! Outstanding customer service and the quality of their work is so much better than any of the online sites. I walked in with my photos on a flash drive and one of the employees helped me with everything I needed to create a poster size print out for my frame. In the past they have also helped me with several other orders and their work is always top notch. I highly recommend this place for any sort of prints or unique customized gifts.
Customer service was great. The young lady who assisted me was friendly and professional. However, I feel like I got ripped off. I took in a picture of my grandmother from the 50s ... it had a lot of red tone to it. The lab tech said the best option to sharpen and take out the redness was to do black and white. I got home, loaded the photo to my computer. Basically all they did was make it black and white. There was no tweaking done to this photo to sharpen it. It looked exactly the same, out of focus but in b&w. Took them 5 days and almost $20 to do what I could have done as a novice on my own. I wish they would have taken more time to restore or at least let me know there wasn't much that could be done and give me the option to back out and do this on my own.
Update: After I posted this review, Amanda from Digital Pro Labs contacted me and wanted to make the situation right for me. She took the time to go into full detail about what I had actually paid for versus what I was looking for. This was obviously a communication error on the part of myself and the customer service rep. They went above and beyond to try to make sure I was a satisfied customer and I appreciate that so much. We live in a time where customer service is not first and foremost at most businesses but you can tell they care about their customers satisfaction. Thanks Amanda!
Needed a photo and digital copy. Photo was pricy for a passport $35 but they wanted to charge me an extra $25 to get a digital copy. This is essentially taking the memory from camera, placing it in computer, and emailing it. Most places do this for free after you do business. I cancelled the whole order.

Been sending my film out to digital pro lab for a year now. They never disappoint!
Very seldom places in San Antonio even develop film anymore, so it was a relief to find this place. I've been getting my film developed at Walgreens for ages, but it'd take weeks for them to get my pictures back to me. Here they developed them in a timely manner and they offer so many options to how you can have your pictures processed.
Overall though, I was ASTOUNDED at the quality of the photos, way better than Walgreens could ever do! The pictures were crisp and sharp and so nice, not even a retouch had to be done to them. Very nice job.
I don't know if it's directed toward just me, but I usually feel a bit of attitude whenever I come in. The work is usually spot on, just lacking on genuinely friendly customer service.
Great service and reasonable prices! I went in to get some headshots taken for work. I was in and out in less than half an hour with my digital copies in hand. Thanks for such a painless experience!

Had a roll of Portra 400 developed here. The price wasn't terrible, but there are cheaper ways to go via mail-in services elsewhere. On the upside the turn around time was about a day from drop-off and the resulting development and scans were pretty good. I would advise people to stay away from the lowest resolution scans offered as the medium resolution scan is probably the lowest I would ever consider acceptable.
Otherwise this is a better alternative to the few big box retailers that still develop film. And as an added bonus unlike most of the remaining retail chains this place actually returns your negatives to you.

My family found letters my father wrote to his parents and film negatives from pictures he took during World War 2. The negatives has been in a box since 1946. I took the rolls here.
I was told by another place they could not be developed because they had been in to much light, sounded like BS to me.
I took them here next. I was helped by the young lady with the fuzzy hair, forgot her name. She was great. She said it would not be a problem. I had 154. She asked to give them a week because of the number and some may have scratches. She asked if I wanted matt or gloss. I had no idea and told her what she judged best, and left it at that.
4 days later they were done and zero scratches.
If we come across any more this will be my first and only stop.

I never give anyone my full approval before I've paid for their services.
I am writing this review primarily because of the interaction I had with Lauren yesterday. I have a special project that needs to be printed by a good commercial lab. Lauren inspired me. I knew I'd found the right business for my very special project.
Lauren was as proactive, professional and as charming many people my age. She understood my questions. When she didn't, she looked up the answers.
Later in the day, my husband told me about his experience with a nearby competitor. Even though Digital Pro Lab's pricing was a bit higher, we knew we would use their services.
I spoke with Lauren on the phone today, because I have a concern about my digital file. Her enthusiasm for photography, her knowledge of the old ways of taking photos (the way I was raised) and the new technology ensured that Digital Pro Labs gets my business for this project and any future ones I have. Small business owners understand that the right employee can make a big difference. Lauren made the difference for me.
I have been to this photo lab on 4 different occasions for print work. They do a good job with printing the work. However, each and every time I have been there, there is this condecending type of attitude projected by all that work there. It's not an outright thing, but it is there. It seems that they enjoy making absolutely sure that they appear to know MUCH more than any customer. They know ALL information and the customer is just some sort of pawn that needs something and they know they have it. There's an older woman there... she knows ALL and the customer is completely ignorant is the attitude I have experienced from her each time I have been in there. Recently, there is a young somewhat dishoveled girl there. Typical millennial... doesn't talk much, but when she does it's that of, "did you do this? Did you do that?" She will speak of "HER" print guy, as if she owns him. Again, very typical millennial. They all want to jump to the "Be right with you" for anyone that walks in, and then they will quickly shove you to the side, or attempt to rush the business they are having with you. I've been fair in my attempts with four visits and a lot of money. They have the "store front" and the "pretty" face, but the attitude is atrocious, and should be dealt with. However, those of us in business know that when you have this "bad attitude" spread throughout an organization, it's the leadership or the owners at the core of the problem. It all trickles down. Until this is addressed there will likely be no change. The first thing that should happen is the young Millennial should be fired. Today. The older woman needs to just stop "acting" high and mighty. I don't care if she owns the place, she is not better than her lowest paying customer! She's knowledgable, but stop with the cocky old school teacher attitude and try just being nice UP FRONT! The whole place is just condescending and it's a very unpleasant experience. Again, I've tried four times. I am done now and will drive to Austin if I have to in an effort to get better customer service. I'm sure they do not care. I'm just one lonely customer. I will tell everyone I know, not to use them, I will continue to write reviews and I don't ever write reviews. I will do these things in an effort to help educate the consumer to go elsewhere for a better experience. If I could give half a star I would, because that is what is deserved here. It's quite a dicotomy as I make up that THEY believe they are five star worthy! Therein lies the problem!

EXCELLENT! I have placed MANY orders with Digital Pro Lab I ve the last few years and have used them for a number of different projects. They are always timely, keep you informed and do a great job! Not to mention the staff is always so helpful.

I visited today for the first time and I m glad I did. The customer service was excellent! I am not very tech savvy but the customer service rep who helped me (Shirley) was knowledgeable, patient, and helped me pick and crop photos. I truly appreciate her dedication to customer service!

Last week I needed some Quick Prints printed for work. I have been a customer with them for years. I have paid for I think 4 monitors to be color matched with their store over the years (and color matching is NOT cheap). Their software was not working and they said multiple times it was basically my problem. I assured them I was not having internet troubles or anything to prevent their software from working, but they were very rude and had no desire to help me. So I asked if they would print them if I sent them via email. Amanda the manager I spoke with said yes, but NOT ONCE said I was going to be charged a "Full Service" price. I was basically over charged $40+. When I asked if the difference they charged me could be applied to an order that I wanted to put in today, they said no. They said the Full Service price I was charged was standard, and would remain. I will NEVER use Digital Pro Lab again. I used to receive great service, great turn around time, and great quality. I would have given them 5 Stars in the past. Now they lost a customer and I feel everyone should know how they are now treating their long standing customers. They no longer care about how they conduct business. They should have honored the price that I should have paid. I did not ask for a refund, I simply asked for the price they over charged me to be applied to my order I was placing today. I have an account with them, and when you have an account you get a discount on your prints, and they did not do that and do not care to rectify the situation. Taking my business elsewhere.
Had two rolls of film I needed processes as negatives only to check a suspect defective camera; as I approached the front door, customers came out, all smiling and obviously pleased, so I felt good giving them a try, since there aren't any other same day labs left in San Antonio. Was too late for same day, but when I picked them up the next day, the clerk turned on a white board and offered me a magnifying loupe to check for defects; I felt no rush to get finished and clear their counter for another customer; she Was helpful and efficient, but still very friendly. A pleasant experience in every aspect; I have found a new lab to handle my work.
Our experience working with Digital Pro Lab was truly unforgetable in the best possible way! They represent excellence in customer service and produce amazing product.
